Stopped here late at night to get some bait and hooks, great customer service and prices! Also yall shouldve seen the beach when the sun rose! It was crazy with clouds
Its a good bait shop and it open for long hours. The only problem I have with it is when I bought bait shrimp the died pretty fast. Compared to the bait shop in Galveston, its worse.
Super super friendly. Even when you wake them up at 1 a.m. 6 out of my 7 times going the live shrimp were xlarge. Great bait place....nice people... open 24/7....
Friendly people. Have all the bait you need to fish at san luis pass. They have live shrimps.
Had what I needed after I forgot my spider weights and hooks at the house, saved my day of surf fishing. Closest bait shop to San Louis Pass
The owners have been a big help to me since I dont know anything about fishing. Love the place
Friendly people, open all the time, lots of options for frozen bait, and some options for fresher or live bait. They also carry ice and fishing gear staples. Friendly cats.
Good ppl and best bait shop in galveston texas
Nice little bait shop on the Galveston bridge. Not a liquor store as it says online. But decent priced bait for all your fishing needs. Family owned
Run down business, no live bate at all. Mosquitoes in the building by the thousands!
This place, on a Friday morning had next-to-nothing (she was trying to sell two small crabs), and then Saturday morning she had somehow found a way to downgrade and had “nothing live, just a few dead shad”.It’s like walking into a Goodyear store and being told, “sorry, we have no tires to sell you...(except maybe a couple of flats with nail punctures out back)”. How they haven’t figured out an even semi-reliable supply chain by now is surprising; but kudos to any bait shop that can stay in business for all these years despite not having bait. I almost gave them an extra star on the rating for that alone.
Total shambles. Like a cluttered pack rat junk pile, actually had two broke down washing machines in the shop, in the way. That said nice folks. There are better bait shops not far away.
Friendly Family atmosphere. Good product for good prices.
Great service great people love the atmosphere
Great hometown bait shop. Friendly people that will give you good pointers.
Good place for you to come
My favorite bait shop. I swear we do better when we get out live shrimp from here.
Live bait ... just down the bridge 🌉 after San Luis Pass park. Dont go far for your fishing bait stop here!
I will be back this summer on vacation again. Recommend to anyone with pets. They was very nice
The hook has good bait also mullet and live shrimp while they last so get there early.
Great owners, location, location, location, If they dont have they will send you to where you can get it, but its open 24-7 where you gonna find bait unless you catch it yourself, looking for Dwilly .
Best place on the west end to get all your bait for an awesome day of fishing. Great service and prices
Good live bait shop. They also carry some fishing tackle, ice and some snacks.
Friendly and fully stocked.
Signs claimed to have all sorts of live bait. Only had live shrimp. We were splashed by the shrimp water while he was filling our bucket. over half of them had already perished when we looked in the parking lot. Not recommended.
They got a lot of stuff customer service was great
Bait stand with friendly staff. Live shrimp were $20/quart. Very lively. Last bait store before getting to San Luis Pass from the Galveston side.
Only bait house on san louis pass road and bait is ecpensive!
Good place for fresh live bait and or fresh Dead.
Real nice lady works there and got some fair quality mullet right next to SLP
Very nice, and friendly service. Great prices on live bait.
No matter how many hurricanes Galveston will have. The Rusty hook will always be open 24 hours for bait..
Over charged and bad service never use again
Always got what I need. Kenda and Jeff are good people.
Been going here for close to 2 decades. Usually have great prices on bait.
Open all the time. The people are really nice and have a lot of stuff
My hubby is happy with both fresh dead and live shrimp
A bit expensive but what do you expect on the beach
Beach was nice but crowded because of Memorial day weekend!!
The beach was clean although still more mud than sand
Not a lot of gear but a great place for baitThey are always friendly
Didnt have live Croaker like I wanted but gave me Mullet bait. All the live bait died before we went 2 miles to our fishing spot.
Needed some bait to fish
Old fashioned bait house.
Not a great place, they had bait, but the staff was intoxicated to the point we couldn’t understand them to make a purchase.
Why go anywhere else
Very helpful people
Hooked us up with what we needed
Great service but needs renovations badly
Always have what you need
Awesome very nice
Always seem to be out of the bait you need
