Because theres less confusion about what youre getting. Some of the negative reviews are about perceived products/quantity vs actual products/quantity.Go check out what youre buying before you buy. I dare ya to find better prices.

We ordered 1 load of 3/4 gravel. This load is tiny. We have ordered a load before from someone else and paid less. They charged us $540.00 for This! Dont buy from them! Dishonest! Their saying it should cover 800sqft yeah right! I wish I could post pictures cause I should did take some and posted them on facebook.

I recently purchased 1 cubic yard of garden soil, or at least I was told it was 1 cu yard.Their cubic yard measurement seems off by 20% to 30% compared to everywhere else Ive bought soil from in the past. So either they gave me less than 1 cubic yard, or everyone else had always given me much more than 1 cubic yard. Either way, safer to buy from other places Ive used.

We ordered 3 cubic feet of TN River Rock from The Gravel Company. We were told it was 3/4. - 1 1/2 inches in size. Some of the rock was that size. However, the majority was large rock at least 3 inches in size some even bigger. Customer service was TERRIBLE before this issue and after. Very disappointed in this place.
