Since it became a Ace Hardware Store, things have dramatically improved. Maybe its because Im fully retired now and there is some projects around my home that my doctor said I can do. Its a very short drive, its not a huge superstore like Home Depot Lowes, or Tractor Supply. I can find everything thing I need, a young, courteous staff is there ready to help. Check out is super fast. Good Local Store!

Sales is pretty good. There Stihl service is awful. Never again. I’ve bought multiple Stihl items from them. Dropped a trimmer off for repairs, took them a month just to diagnose it. Kinda ridiculous

This store is clean and well organized. Everyone working during my visit was helpful and knew where to find everything I was looking for. A great place to get grill and smoker supplies. I drove from Nashville because they were the only place around that I could stop by and know they had what we needed.

Dudes standing in back around the key-making stand were rude and gave me bad vibes.The staff working up front were really nice though.Id much rather go to a small store like this than Lowes or Home Depot.They had the pool filters I needed and I saw a nice grill I want to save up for.

I’m one to sit quiet and not let experiences bother me but this particular circumstance was unusual and misleading. I went in the gallatin Ace store on Saturday June 5 at around 4pm to purchase a craftsman toolbox for my work. I had been in the Franklin KY location the previous day and saw that it was on sale for $119 down from $179 for Father’s Day. I asked them if they had any in stock and they did but they weren’t sure the price. The associate looked it up in the catalog and stated that it wasn’t on sale even though online and the other location had it discounted. After a moment or so he then asked the manager what the sale was so I stated to the manager and that if I saw it at another store or online for that price could they not just honor it, I was told yes by the manager. So I pulled it up once more and then proceeded to the front of the store with the toolbox and some clamps that I needed. After waiting in line the associate came back up to me a stated that the manager changed his mind and stated that if I wanted the deal that I would have to buy it online even though the sale on the website states online and in store discount. So I had to step outside and order the toolbox that I had at the counter ready to checkout in order to leave with it that day.No this isn’t the worst experience ever but it’s misleading and the back and forth mindset of the manager really comes off the wrong way. Anyways, I do shop here and enjoy coming in because the selection of the store is far greater than most Aces just had an off experience.Thank you

How fortunate we are to still have a local hardware store in our community! Tennessee Hardware is probably our familys most shopped store. From DIY projects to home renovations to quick gifts for family members, Tennessee Hardware is where were usually making weekly runs.They have a helpful and informed staff that seems to consist of most of the same smiling faces weve been seeing there for years - that tells you a lot about their culture! The store is always clean, orderly, and stocked, making your needs easy to find it. Cant fit it? Their staff can - and I bet they can even tell you the best way to use your purchase.The store is easily accessible and even easier to shop. Go seem them!

Edit: this location only honors the Craftsman lifetime warranty if the tool was purchased at this location... seems a bit off... guess Ill be headed to lowes for those replacements and future tool purchases.-One of the few local hardware shops that still carry on, always my first stop when looking for something I need to complete a project or repair. Dont bother with online orders waited 2 hours for confirmation then only after calling did they pull order. Waited outside for 10 minutes before walking in store only to find employee standing there having a conversation hold my part in hand. Could have walked in and pulled part off the shelf and been gone in 5 minutes myself.

Don’t go. They are trained to not take In refunds or returns it’s obvious! they are so rude about it and will come up with every excuse not to take stuff their merchandise back. I truly hope they go under!. You don’t encounter such guff and rudeness at homepro in Westmo or the hardware stores in Lafayette or the big box ones. Pretty soon menards will be coming down too, as they’ve made it as far south as Paducah. Too many better choices:Ace is NOT the place! (Unless you like being treated horrible!)

I really enjoy this hardware store, the staff are wonderful, very friendly and inviting always eager to help.

Well...I believe in good customer service and when someone actually helps you...you expect something more than just the point of a finger and then when another employee walks up to you and gets sharp and keeps an attitude because you didnt know something. They have lots of things you need but customer service is not at all professional.

So I have been a long time customer for both sides, store and service. The people on the service side seem not to like people. I called the owner to share my experience, his response, “it’s been like that since 1977”, not I am sorry for your experience, not we will try and do better. He even knew the specific person who had the attitude before I said anything. If you have had a similar experience I would recommend you post it.

It is always a pleasure going into Tennessee Hardware in Gallatin. The staff, especially Collin Barnes, is always vey helpful. Collin is extremely knowledgeable and has helped me tremendously with numerous things over the years. They have a large variety of options to choose from and, as a bonus, have a great section for your grilling needs (Traeger, Big Green Egg, and accessories). The hometown feel is just an added bonus. I will continue to do business with them for years to come.

Fast, friendly service. Folks ready to help, gave me my space, but knew exactly how to guide me to the right spot. It was fast and efficient and less expensive than I expected from a local hardware. Ill definitely be shopping here instead of the big chain stores.

5-star store selection, friendly staff. However staff members do not wear masks or require them consistently from customers, so if you care about covid it is a 1-star store.

I love this store! I dont know why,but it has this smell of like country life. They carry Burts Bees products that I love. Very helpful group of local people.

Shopped there over the past weekend and noticed none of their associates wearing masks. When I asked one of them why they werent, the response was that it was a personal preference. No, its a county-wide MANDATE for public places. Their personal preference endangers their customers health and sends the message that they dont care about the local government orders to protect the public. I left without the part I needed and purchased it at a larger hardware store where ALL their employees wore masks. Their personal preference means I will never return and will spread the word to stay away from this location.

Ace hardware! A magnificent place that a man with any type of tool acumen could spend hours wandering aimlessly soaking like a sponge the plethora of worker helpers strown about the place. Friendly and knowledgeable staff along with the aforementioned delicacies make stopping in for whatever your remodeling repairing installing needs a true pleasure and one youll want to repeat again and again Im sure.

They are very helpful, they ask you, if you need help, not like the big box stores. Some of the prices are decent as well. Good deal on star head screws.

Has a small town, southern hospitality feel. Everyone very knowledgeable and helpful. They carry a metal polish that I can only find there which cleans silver jewelry awesome! The cleaner is called MASS. Handicapped accessible, nice wide aisles too.

Great store if you like to avoid the big box stores that sell tools and similar items. The staff is friendly and professional and the prices seem fair. I knocked off one star because the people in the service department seemed less than enthusiastic to schedule an appointment for my lawn tractor. No a major issue as I found another person to help me with that problem. Ill still use the store, but I probably wont attempt to do business with the service department again.

Customer service is exceptional. Probably the best of any hardware/tool/DIY store I have been to. Not a big box store so they dont carry everything, but they are more than willing to order anything I need. On the flip side, they do have some items big box stores dont carry. My only complaint is their prices are almost always higher than other stores.
