Inventory is low because of covid, but the staff was very helpful finding me options for me. Very nice people and clean store.

I have never had a bad experience here and I have lived close to it for 11 years, so my family shops here a lot.ALL of the employees here are amazing! If you pass one no matter what they are doing they will always greet you with a smile.Yes sometimes the lines get long and customers would like more registers open, but they do their best with what theyve got. You could also put an application in if this really bothers you. But keep in mind if this does bother you... the people there showed up for work and are doing their job, so dont give them a hard time.I absolutely love shopping here and its not because of the prices its because of the employees and atmosphere. Its clean, stocked, and tidy. If you need anything at all the employees are happy to help and will go above and beyond doing so.

I have not been to a Food Lion in about ten years. So going into the one I expected it to be kind of dingy and not well stocked. But it was! There were workers working. The whole store was clean. People were nice. I can’t wait to come back.

I have found my new go-to store! It is clean and organized. Prices on some items make up for themselves on others. But what really blew me away was the produce section. I could find one bad piece and trust me I looked. The bakery had beautiful cakes and it had a deli. I fell in love with this store!

A good grocery store. They keep a clean store and I like the fact that the store is not huge. The only issue that I have is that it is sometimes hard to find someone to help you but the employees who I see are usually working on tasks surely given to them by management and they tend to have that single focus mentality.

The food Lion was decently stocked even on Thanksgiving eve. The staff were very friendly and polite period my only complaint with this location was on Thanksgiving day I was looking for heavy whipping cream and the staffing for me they did not have any more in stock. But all I had to do was move down a couple rows and was able to locate some heavy whipping cream period so the staff misinformed me by saying they were sold out when they were not. A little better training to the staff could have avoided that issue. other than that my experience was great the pricing was normal and a good value the store was clean.

Can never find anything thats new on the market...seems like all they do is promote their brand....Kroger is 10 times better imo...and the meats here arent even in the same league as Kroger

I mainly go to the Food Lion because it’s close by my house. But one thing I do like about it as it seems though they always have enough cashiers. Some other Food Lion products are better than namebrand products that’s just me I guess the stores usually always clean I believe the stores open 24 hours a day. The cashiers are pleasant for the most part. The prices are good and they usually have very good deals on meat. I will continue shopping here for 90% of my groceries. The deli department has my favorite cheese and I also like their own brand called cha-ching. You can still get a loaf of bread for under a dollar a bag of potato chips for under a dollar and a pack of napkins for under a dollar I’m not saying that at any other store add these are normal size bags of potato chips normal size loaf of bread I look for them all the time

They always have what I need in stock and the employees are always very helpful. Their prices are a bit higher on some items than other stores but their sales make many items much cheaper. Sometimes lines are long (and they dont have self checkout) but they will always call other employees out to open registers. I dont usually have to wait too long to get checked out. All in all I really love shopping here.

Great! They always have just about anything you need.

Their employees at night are completely rude, and dont bother calling. They never answer their phone. Called 10 times because I thought that I forgot something. Ended up having to walk all the way back down there. Id prefer going during the day. The teenagers and younger employees actually nicer and easier to talk to.

I only go there when I need a few items or for their sale items. Most of their prices are quite a bit higher than were I buy my weekly groceries. However, their staff is always friendly and helpful.

Im really glad they stayed opened. Employees are great. Prices.... Not so much. Dont get me wrong,their meat is very good. But gosh dang! The prices are jacked up. 18.99lb steaks. REALLY! Think they just made that up. 2 maybe 3 weeks ago, ON SALE 7.99lb same stuff. I dont get why just up the road,Portland,they have different everything in the meat department than Gallatin. I also figured out theyre kinda sneaky. Next time you need paper products check that middle isle. They were outta everything on regular isle,toilet paper,paper towel,Kleenex an napkins. Oh wait. Whats that in that middle isle I see. Are those boxes of Kleenex everywhere? Works for me. Thanks. Enjoy your day!

Clean, basic neighborhood grocery store with friendly staff. Youre not going to find unusual produce (I cant find Thai basil anywhere in Gallatin) or imported and artisan cheese (have to drive across town to Kroger marketplace), but what they have is well stocked and reasonably priced. I like their rotisserie chicken. It is well seasoned and not dry. They have good bagels too (not great, but above average), freshly fried cantina-style chips, and a good Mexican import canned goods and salsas section.

I went in to buy a bottle of wine, and I saw the employees and what I think to be a manger eyeballing me before I even got up to the register. The person with me didn’t have an ID. I was the one purchasing the wine. state law says to ID the person buying it. But I understand their policy. What I DID have a problem with is the very unprofessional lady who was basically yelling saying not to sell it to me. I was compliant and just said OK but she continued to be loud with a patronizing “thank you” and repeating “I was watching you” like yeah lady I noticed. I can go two min down the road and buy some wine but I won’t shop here again.

Disappointed! It says in the entrance way, masks are required but that isnt the case. Also, the manager wasnt even wearing a masks the right way. Which isnt effective if not worn the way its intended. I guess thats the precedent that is set for that store.

This store was clean and organized. The employees that I interacted with were very friendly and helpful. I visited after 8pm, and the store was nice and quiet.

I was only shopping for a few items this visit. The store was easy to navigate and I was able to quickly locate my desired items. As I walked through the store, I spotted several really good deals. The store was clean and well-stocked. My cashier was quick and very friendly. When I didnt have my loyalty card or the corresponding telephone number, the cashier entered another number so that i would still receive the sale prices. I will definitely be returning soon.

The people at this Food Lion are excellent. They all know my son and treat him like family. The ladies in the deli know which type of cookies he likes and always have them on hand for our visit. They have the best price on ice cream in town. The deals on Tuesdays are great. You can find discounted items and have great meals at a great price. The cashiers are friendly and are understanding of little kids coming through their lines.

Sales and prices are ok, but not the best around. Recommend checking dates on perishables. This is tomato season and they dont have any local, the tomatoes are from Canada. Convenient to home for a quick trip before dinner but there is usually a line at checkout at that time. Staff is always friendly.

Food lion is always more convenient for quick unorthodox shopping trips, the staff is always pleasant and more than willing to help with anything you need and the MVP CARD actually saves you instant money, it doesnt build up points like other places do. Just a really nice at home grocery store Ill continue to shop at again and again.

Came in to shop saw an ad for an 8pc for 4.99 went to the Deli this was around 11:45 most places Lunch time well they had none out as far as the one on special and I asked if they would have any ready soon was told it would be 20-25 minutes well I waited 45minutes almost for an item they were advertising and when I agreed to wait one specific deli worker was attempting to talk me out of purchasing an item her store is clearly advertising. Spoke with manager he compensated for the chicken which I appreciated but I will never purchase anything out this deli workers are rude and have problems with doing a job they are paid to do. Next time maybe you all should have items out that you are advertising or take down the signs.
