4.4 stars overall is puzzling. If you want real work done, do not go here. I only make this review because I dont want other folks paying for a service they wont receive. This shop is ran by guys that care nothing about the work they do. Having to mark your tires to ensure they actually rotate them is a joke..and even when Ive done that, the tires still werent rotated and Ive been sure to mention that in person. They dont care and the Manager will place the blame on one of his line workers. This has happened 4 times. I blame myself for giving them more chances. Ive warned you. ⚠️Go somewhere else.

I called today July 29th to get a quote on an air compressor. Guy on the phone asked me to please bring the car over to have a quick look. As soon as I arrive there the front desk guy (white, talk, chubby, less than 20 years old) tells me that he needs to run a diagnosis first and thats $120 which I dont mind paying. Then he told me he cannot check my car until 2 weeks from now. Im explaining to him my situation and that I spoke to someone on the phone and right on the spot he told me thats gonna cost you $3000. Guy never asked what model of vehicle I was driving, year nothing! He just wanted to get rib of me. I WASTED MY TIME, GAS, ADN A LOT OF SWEAT!!! Thank you for the great customer service coming from this kid.

If you need tires, go see Justin at Gateway! I punctured my tire, and they were able to get me in for service right away. The customer service was top notch! This is not a high pressure, upsell you into something outside of your price range kind of place. Called on Wednesday regarding my AC not blowing cold, as told that I would need to drop my car off to have it diagnosed as this is a lengthy process. Asked if I could drop off Friday and was told that was fine. Called Friday just to get an estimate and was told that I could drop it off Friday but they could only diagnosis the problem Saturday and would not be able to do any repairs until Monday. This is all fine, but why not tell someone the first time they call? Why tell someone they can drop off Friday for repairs, if you cannot actually repair it? Very disappointed.

Went in for some repairs, the staff was knowledgeable, very friendly, the building was in a very convenient spot for me. The service tech was very professional when he gave us the reason why the car failed, they showed us the old part, told us why it failed. He would not let the car leave till he felt comfortable with the car on the road. Which made me and my wife feel so much better. The tech had worked for GM for 26 years so he knew what he was doing. Thank you fellas so much and sorry this review is so late.

We are not from Gallatin and were in town to test drive a vehicle. We last minute decided we wanted the car pre-inspected by a mechanic or someone who knew more about cars than we did. Every shop in town I called was very busy, including this shop. BUT, the manager (I’m assuming) said that if we couldn’t find anyone else to do it, he would squeeze us in & check it over himself so we could get it done while we were in town. We ended up at his shop and they had great customer service & were very quick considering they squeezed us in!! The rocking chairs in the waiting room were a plus!!! If we lived in Gallatin, we WOULD be using this establishment for our car needs! Thank you!

I will never go here again nor will I ever recommend this place to anyone. I walk in only one person is sitting in there. I was quoted 45 minutes to an hour. 3 hours later and my car is done. The people at the desk with nice which is why it got two stars instead of one.Edit: they also got grease spots on the driver side seats as well as the inside of the cab carpet I am now going to have to try to scrub out

So I needed two new front tires for my mower and I called a certain mower service store on 31E Monday where I bought the mower around 8 years ago. I was told I could get them replaced Thursday (today) and I even asked if they had them in stock. Said yes. Of course, when I got there this morning they acted clueless and said they had to order the tires. Of course they asked me who I talked to and since the person I was talking to was the one who answers all of the calls, Im not really sure as to why he needed this answer. But anyway... As I already taken everything apart and my yard was out of control, I had to find tires. After a few recommendations I ended up at Gateway Tire. They did not have them but I was told they could get me two by around 2pm. Since I had other things to do that was fine. I got all of those things done and showed back up around 2:30. No Tires. Josh, the manager explained that they werent there yet. They attempted to call the driver a number of times. Finally they got a hold of him and he was really late. He finally got there around 4:15. Josh made sure that they got mounted as soon as they got there. I did realize, it was totally out of his control. When he checked me out he adjusted my price to make up for the delay, and I didnt have to ask. Was it a perfect situation for me to finally get my tires so late? No, but the point of this post is to let everyone know I didnt have to ask for compensation and he *more than made up for it*. Even it wasnt his fault at all, he took responsibility and made up for it. Seems like a very honest business to deal with. Highly recommend. Thanks Josh.

Gateway is welcoming and kind. They fixed my tire efficiently and treated me with kindness and respect. Women are sometimes treated poorly by people in the automotive business, and earlier today I received that sort of treatment at Discount Tire, just up the road from Gateway. I left there and went to Gateway where they greeted me warmly and spoke with me like an equal. We will never go anywhere else ever again.

No reason what so ever to wait 40 minutes to put nitrogen in your tires. It takes 3 mins. And much less 40 minutes and they didnt even get it done. I left and will find somewhere more reasonable.

A HUGE shout out to Anthony and the guys at Gateway Tire in Gallatin, TN. We showed up at 4:40 PM expecting only air in a slow leak tire. Not remembering that they closed at 5:30 PM, we were still surprised when we were told that we could still be seen.We apparently had a nail in the one tire. It was repaired quickly and at N/C. AND, no pressure to buy new tires. We will definitely be returning when we need to replace. Thanks guys!!

I took my car in for an oil change at 11:20am this morning. I was told they could get to it in about 20-30 minutes, no problem, I had someone pick me up and went to lunch. I got back from lunch and noticed my car was still in the same parking spot. I was told they were talking about getting it in to start on it. At 12:50 my car was still setting there so I had to ask for my key so I could go back to work. what a waste of my time plus no oil change. At least tell people youre to busy to mess with them, I couldve gone elsewhere. Very disappointing with Gateway Tire.

Awesome people. Have never had a bad experience. They discuss any issues fully, and in depth to give you a great understanding of whats going on. Ive taken several sets of wheels to be mounted, and have had cars aligned and they have always taken care of me.

I recently moved from Michigan and had a tire with a slow leak was not sure of the cause but took it today to Gateway and not only did they repair it but it was at no cost! All the service staff were wonderful and Ill definitely being going back for future car care ❤ Thank you, Gateway!

I have been a customer of Gateway for 4 years since I relocated from New York.Monday afternoonmy engine light went on. I arrived at 1 oclock and was told they were to busy to check it for me.They said come back in the morning. I had to work Tuesday,so I took it to them at 7:05am on Wednesday and was told they were to booked to look at it. I was told it was first come first serve. Really!I was the firstcustomer to enter. I will no longer use or recommend them. A smile does not cut for me.

I had the pleasure of meeting an employee name Justin. I had went in originally to have a tire repaired. While I was there my starter went out on my car. Although they couldnt get me in to fix the starter they made me feel so welcomed and also was willing to go the extra mile for me. Justin even said he would get me a ride home if I needed it. The interaction I had today was EXCELLENT!!!!!

Everyone here is just plain nice and they stand behind their work. So refreshing. I have been in 4 times in less than a year for flats or nails in my tires (thanks sooooo much, construction sites) and they never charge me because my tires were bought here. They even stayed after close one time to fix a flat! Great people, fantastic, courteous customer service.

Weve had a few flat tires in the past year and theyve been quick and helpful to plug or replace them along with rotation and balances. My battery died this winter and since they are close I walked over and planned on carrying it back being just a 5-10 minute walk. They kindly offered to drive me back home making a crazy morning just a bit easier. Very polite and professional service.

I took my truck in for servicing,they kept it over night,the next day they told me the repairs were going to be more than what was originally,thats to be expected,what was not expected was when i got it back my taillights were not working,they claim they did nothing to it,but they were working fine before they had it..

Stopped by last week to make an appointment to have brakes replaced on my car. Was told there were no appointments just first come first serve but if I dropped off early in the morning there would be no problem being done by the afternoon. Yesterday I dropped off my car at 7am when they opened. I told them I needed by the end of the day and was told that was no problem especially since I was leaving it. When I went to pick it up at 415, the brake job had not even been started. No call, nothing. Said they didnt know what happened....must have gotten backed up. No more business from me and will be sharing my experience with co-workers who frequent this business. Took the car immediately to another shop that inspected and gave me an estimate within 30 minutes of dropping it off.

I went to Gateway Tire in Gallatin, TN just to have my car looked at for a burning smell. The service man told me that my front differential was busted and leaking and needed replaced. He said that this would cost around $1,800 to fix. He didnt add any oil to it and said that there was no point. He also recommended that I sell my car. I went for a second opinion and was told that my transmission pump was leaking and that my car was fine...he added fluid. The smell was a result of transmission fluid on my exhaust. Watch out ladies!!!! I will never go there again...very inexperienced and unprofessional...

Look at the reviews. There is a common theme. You pay your hard earned money for the problem not to be fixed. These people are crooks. Every local person from Gallatin said thats what you get for going to those people. Check the yelp reviews as well. Do yourself a favor and avoid at all cost.

Went in for an oil change and told the dark hair man behind the counter that I run castrol oil in my car. He said no problem. They took it upon themselves to put Pennzoil in my car. Not their decision to change my brand of oil.Will not go back and will not recommend.

They bait you with a low price then Jack it up. Got them fixed for half what you guys wanted with new rotors all the way around.
