What a wonderful experience, I went in with a few thoughts in mind on what board, bindings, and boots that I wanted. I met with Eric, he was awesome. He was very knowledgeable about the store products and very helpful with every question I had. I purchased the Burton Custom board based on his recommendations on my riding style. I am beyond excited to try this board out this winter. Thank you Eric for such an enjoyable and delightful experience. I hope to work with you again you are a true asset to the company.

The staff here all very helpful and welcoming. At times (weekends and peak ski season) the place can be a bit of a zoo but thats because theyre offering great deals and services that are hard to find elsewhere in the area. Ive rented ski gear from here a few times now - day rental last year and season rental for myself and my son for this upcoming season. The gear has always been well fitted, maintained and performed well. And at prices significantly lower than at the slopes themselves. Well worth a visit!

Went there, waiting in line to get helped and received no help or even acknowledgement. It was like we were invisible or perhaps the employee was having too much fun chatting. Was a bummer, and quite awkward, so we left.They have a great selection of skis and boots, which were nice to look at at least.

The whole team was fantastic, especially Bell! We needed 2 adult ski tuneups and 2 kid ski rentals. Despite managing COVID store capacity restrictions on a busy day, the team stayed polite and helpful. Bell was great fitting our kids in boots and skis, helping us get the right sizes in almost totally booked rental times. All the way up to checkout, when our clerk gave us recs about our ski location, it was a great experience!

This place is awesome! I came to them with limited background and was presently surprised with the outcome. Zack, one of the main guys, was super helpful and knowledgable. He walked me through the whole process very comfortably. I would recommend seeking Zack’s help over anyone else on the east coast. I got a brake adjustment done here . They had to keep my bike as it needed a spring adjustment . Price was reasonable and customer service was excellent . Will recommend .

This place was amazing. The building was very clean and nicely set up. We got our skis and snowboards here and Jake did a fantastic job helping us out. He spent several hours making sure we got the correct size equipment and if we were happy with the equipment. He seemed like he really had a passion for his job and really cared about us. Another good thing about Sun and Ski is that when you skis/boards become too small, you can trade in your equipment and get half of the money spent on the previous equipment returned. From now on, we will always visit Sun and Ski to purchase equipment. Such a great place, I totally recommend it!

The folks here know what they are doing. Its been several years since I skied. I did a little last year to get back in the swing but really didnt know what I should purchase. Hock was great and walked me through everything. I love my new skis and have these guys to thank for it. Youve got a customer for life.

I love this place! Kat set me up with a set of skis for my trip Im planning out west. I recommended this place to my dad and he brought in his skis too. Now I hear my dad and I can get our bike gear here too. Awesome!

The customer service here is incredible! We came in at the end of season and got a great deal on patio furniture. However, the staff went even further when it was delivered with a piece missing. Incredibly responsive, helpful and kind. A place that reminds you what customer service can and should be like and high quality products at great prices. We love our backyard!

Ive been coming here for years and I always get friendly service and knowledgeable sales people. I especially like the program that allows one to trade in older equipment bought there for a discount on new equipment. I use this often for my daughters gear.

Excellent customer service! They are very friendly no matter what skill level you are. I went in for a board wax ($10) and they gave me suggestions on how to take care of my board and things I should do to preserve it better (but I was never pressured to buy anything). They have information on all the slopes in the area as well.

Been here on 4 different occasions and the staff is always helpful and makes sure you get the info you need. The gentleman that helped me listened to my needs about my boot size, asked about my budget and helped me find what I needed. Guy wouldnt stop grabbing boots from the back until I was satisfied. They are a quick and efficient bunch. Will definitely make this place my one stop shop for my snowboarding needs.

Very knowledgeable and respectful employees! My recent visit was for snowboarding boots; James was very patient and helpful as it took me time to really get a good feel and make a decision. Multiple team members helped me out in other areas of the store, each went out of there way to ensure I found what I needed. Quality products, and well know brands are featured in this store.

Staff members are a pleasure to work with, and always willing to work with you on customization and preferences. They are also helpful after the sale, answering questions about upkeep and repairs. Horrible experience. Spent over 600$ and got a broken pair of Salomon boots. Store refuses to take back or exchange items and told me I may have to pay myself to get them repaired. I later found out the Sports Tube I bought from them (which I was told had a missing lock) was also missing all the straps and padding and protection meant to be in the tube after visiting the official website. Avoid this Gaithersburg shop at all costs.I have never given a bad review because I usually dont bother but this is a first for me. They have no apparent warranty or policy for damaged items. sold to consumers. Their policy is essentially without the sugarcoating: If we sell you a faulty item, too bad. Its not our fault cause we didnt know.So if you visit this shop, PRAY you dont get unlucky and get sold a faulty item cause their policy will screw you over big time.

This is a completely ski location. No cycle, swim ect. so it is small. Its in the back corner of the shopping center.We were in right before a big snow storm so the line was insanely long. I cant say I felt like it moved quickly. The staff seemed quite helpful for those looking at bindings and boots. It has a board next to the entrance telling which slopes are open and the conditions. It was a bit pricey to me but Im not a winter baby. So perhaps this is a normal item price. My typical experience with the chain in other sports is on point. I was able to find an online coupon while waiting in line on a cupon site, so worth the look
