Same as the Gaithersburg store - very unethical. While I was getting my eyeglass prescription, the salesperson specified a pair of glasses for my 12 year old son. I went along with it as a life lesson and yes, we will need to re-order it since its not the same as his old pair (what he was expecting). Between my experience with the prescription being blurry (having trouble even writing this using the new prescription), and his experience with a bad pair ordered; rest assured our family will take our business elsewhere.
This place is amazing! Doctor Thomas is such a great doctor. Cam and Elizabeth were wonderful when I walked in, they greeted and checked me in politely. I was fearful going in with all these negative reviews but it was honestly a great and fast experience. Even when I was having trouble finding glasses on my own Damian came up and showed me pairs he thought would fit my face perfectly. I didn’t feel pressured to purchase anything and there promotions are fabulous right now. Gwynn even priced matched my contacts too. I would totally recommend coming here!
At first, I was skeptical about going to this clinic because of the reviews and stars this place is ranked. I’ve recently moved to this area from DC so i decided to give it a try and get a regular follow up. As a result, I was so impressed and so happy with the service the staff provided from the time I walked in to the last second I was there. Everyone was so friendly and communicative. Hands down to Dr. Thomas! Best eye doctor I’ve seen so far. I highly recommend this clinic.
This is the second time and that’s why I’m posting this review. Ordered contact lenses June 23rd for delivery with confirmation #. It’s now July 10th and it’s still not delivered. No tracking info is ever provided. Called the store they had no record of me ordering it, provided the lady on the phone with my confirmation # she said the manager would call me back. No call back!! I’m going back to the Bethesda location, kentlands location has issues.
Dr. Thomas is fast and efficient. Nelson worked with me a lot. He’s awesome. Really good at what he does. I prefer glasses over contacts so I probably won’t try contacts again for a while since I have dry eyes though. The team definitely cares about making patients happy so I’m grateful for that.

I made an appointment on a whim and was given one and the gentleman there said that they will send me a reminder a day prior to my appointment. I did not receive one so I called the morning of my appointment and left a message verifying the time of my appointment but never received a call back. Needless to say, I missed my appointment. I called later on to make a new appointment I was told that they called me 3 times on my cellphone and one on my home # for my reminder which was untrue. The eye doctor had very limited hours so it was very inconvenient to make another appointment. It is also worth mentioning that the eyeglasses that I got from them had peeling anti-glare coating making the lenses blurry and easily fogs with everyones new wardrobe-the Face Mask. Im off to another appointment with a five star rated optometrist.
I have been wearing glasses for the past 20 years, and I have never had a worse experience than here. First, they made me do a contact lens fitting even though I knew my prescription and specific contacts that worked for me. I asked if they could just test my eyes because I know what lenses fit. This way I could save the $95 fitting fee. They insisted that the doctor has to see me in contacts which was just a scam to get more money from me. They ended up giving me the wrong prescription because the doctors equipment was dirty. I am glad I insisted on trying a different prescription because eventually i ended up with the correct prescription for my contacts. I decided to leave and have my glasses made somewhere else because of how frustrated I was with them. I am pretty sure the glasses prescription they gave me is also wrong.I would never go back here.

The appointment was fine enough, but I have been waiting over a month for my glasses to be ready.
The doctor was great but the office staff is lacking integrity. After calling several times and being told the manager would call me back Ive lost all confidence in them fulfilling their words. They have a box of my contacts that theyll probably resell and Ill keep getting the run around. Whats most disappointing is that I thought I had found an office I could stick with for a long time.

Went in with my daughter (3.5 years old) to get her first pair of glasses. They were patient, fast and efficient. Would use them again and recommend them to family and friends.

I am from Virginia and found myself out of town with no contacts. I am blind as a bat and was so nervous about driving in an unfamiliar area without my contacts. Kim, Alessandra, and the rest of the team at Myeyedr went above and beyond in helping me. They contacted my eye doctor and got my prescription faxed to them. They found me some contacts and sent me on my way safe and sound. I cannot thank them for their assistance and professionalism enough.
This appointment was actually for my 86 year old mother who has been in desperate need of a new set of glasses. Her last pair of glasses were 30 years old. Several years ago she had been to an optometrist and the visit didnt go well at all. My mother left without getting glasses and in the process became very fearful of the entire eye exam process. Eventually, her 30 year old glasses became useless so she was highly motivated to see an optometrist and get a new pair of glasses.We met with Dr. Thomas at 4:45 pm on the day before Thanksgiving holiday. My mother immediately started experiencing anxiety about the visit when she entered the office. However, Dr. Thomas did an amazing job making my mother feel at ease. He was patient and kind every step of the way. The office officially closed at 6pm but we didnt leave until 6:45 pm because the office team was committed to helping my mother get the glasses she needed.
One day my kids already were in doctor office before the on time but doctor left early because he had to go somewhere then I told front desk girl to make an appointment on next Saturday at 10 am for my both kids and she made appointment at 9:45am and 10 am. I came to the doctor office at 10am but the front desk same girl and also doctor refuse to see 1 of my kids. The funny thing was, I waited over there till 10:25am to talk to in charge, he came and he also told me same they can see only my one kid. That day doctor left early that was no problem and other day they could see my other kid in 25 minute wastage time.
Always have to wait 15-20 minutes past the appointment time, glasses take 10 days or longer to to arrive. Even when they arrived they were missing the lenses. Wasted am that time waiting to only get frames... After receiving it they gave me the wrong prescription had to order new lenses it has now been 10 days. I contacted them today no one not even the manager has any idea when my glasses will arrive. I recommend going to any other place beside this place.
The doctor and staff were all friendly and got me a great deal on glasses (They were free with my insurance). I have never had a better optometrist.
The Dr. that perfomed the exam was great, patient, knowledgable, professional. However, I was not happy with how they offered me services and products that were not covered by my insurance when I specifically told them over the phone and in person that I am interested only in what my insurance covers.

We order glasses since Dec 2019 untill now,we havent get them.Un organize,staff dont care.Im looking for different Eye Dr.
Appointment was at 6:15pm. Traffic delays we got there at 6:22pm. Receptionist was extremely unprofessional and rude. The appointment was for my wife and I, 6:15 and 6:30pm. Because I was stuck in traffic my wife and I decided to split cars and I called on my way saying Ill be late by 5 min. The receptionist immediately retaliated saying they would not be able to see the both of us, only one of us. When I got there at 6:22 and walked in, the receptionist brought up the insurance after the fact that some guy from the clinic called me a day earlier and talked to me about it. Literally less than 24 hours after this incident, another myeyedr in Rockville tracked down our insurance and we got our eyes checked out. Maybe the doctor and receptionist had to be somewhere which is something I totally understand, we saw them leave in front of us. Just dont take appointments if you have elsewhere to be.Horrible experience. Extremely dissatisfied and I am going to take this to the district manager of my eye Dr.

The doctor was very patient and very friendly. But very disappointed by the new Manager.She is not friendly at all. Very rude and does not even know how to talk to the customers politely. I was ripped off by the year supply for the contact lens that she told me it was $200 Rebate I got only $170. Next time I am looking for another store. JUST A BAD EXPERIENCE BY THE MANAGER
The lenses didnt improve my vision. The left one was blurry. The old lenses were better. Theres a 2 week deadline to return them.
My first experience at this location was great but they seem to have changed management and it is no where near the service I received previously.
Terrible service, very unprofessional staff other than Dr. Thomas. They forgot to submit the order for my daughters glasses . When the glasses arrived after a month delay, frame was missing. I will NOT recommend anybody to order their eye glasses in this place. Very frustrating!

I bought a pair of glasses from this store. When I picked up my glasses, I did notice that the right lens did make me very uncomfortable. The sales associate told me that my eye would need some time to adjust to the new pair of glasses. I couldnt even wear them for more than an hour because they gave me a headache. I ended up going back to the store and they found out that the prescription for the right lens was incorrect. Today, I went to the store to pick up my glasses, but the right lens was still incorrect. People at MyEyeDr are very unprofessional.
We used this office three times. The first time was OK, the next two times it seemed like the employees (who were different people) were being paid by commission--the more you pay, the more they get paid. So, we dont go here anymore.

Bad to wait is their motto: you see one standing and they dont tell you anything and then, they have nothing ..... and very expensive ..... I didnt like it and the people who work very bad class.
