What is the Fitz Way? Read for more:I tried to arrange to buy a car Ive been searching for for months from this dealer. Ghosted by the salesperson and sales manager at the Toyota dealer while I tried to secure a flight. Have family that was local that reached out to a salesperson at the Hyundai dealer next door. They were great about getting the car I wanted to look at held until I could fly into DC to take a look at it. Unfortunately the car I thought I was buying had significant damage to the front bumper (broken clip, cracked plastic) and a damaged grill that was never disclosed and couldnt be seen in the online photos. The vehicle also had a malfunctioning rear seat belt and passenger rear window that died halfway down during the test drive. The cake topper was that the listing and sales sheet signed by the dealership listed the vehicle as having 69K miles. During the test drive the odometer read 73294. Hyundai sales manager offered to take $500 off the car and that was it. An aftermarket bumper alone without paint is $369 ??? Who in their right mind is going to buy a car for $35K with front end damage and non-functional seat belt???? Learned a $400 lesson and got to see some family, but these people need to take care of customers instead of wasting their time and trying to hard ball them when theyve got a check in hand. Id shop elsewhere.

Because Fitz was willing to provide an out the door price, the majority of the pricing happened before we arrived at the dealership.The dealership process was pretty standard, they’re going through renovations right now so things are a little noisy. But other than that it’s about what you expect from a car buying experience.They still tried to up sell on warranties but were not pushy. I wish more traditional dealerships operated under this model.

Frank Yang is the best car salesman ever! Hes kind, responsive, patient and diligent. I walked into the showroom and asked him if he had any Rav-4 Primes available to drive. He said no, they are all sold out, however he can reserve one for me. He started showing me all the available cars that were coming in and was transparent about the mark-up (which by the way is the lowest in this area). He also said he would match my Carmax offer for my trade-in, weve been to other dealerships that were terrible when it came to appraising my car. Once he said that, we were sold. When my car was delayed he kept his eye out for any reservations that fell through. He called me one evening and said I have a car for you but its a different color, do you want to see it? I jumped on it and bought it that day, it was even better than the one I had ordered and I got it for the same price. He could have just made me wait my order, but he didnt. I highly recommend anyone looking for a car to go see Frank.
Very disappointed with this dealer. They approached us to purchase our car. They have our car, we have no money. They lied to us. They had a 10 day pay off and its been two weeks. No money no car. We cant buy our new car since they have $10,000 of our money. Lies lies lies. Dont waste your time.

This was my first brand new car purchase and salesman Govinda made this such a smooth and easy process for me. Ive been to dealerships in the past and the car salesman can be very pushy and forceful -- I did not get that here at all. Govinda was patient with me, answered all of my questions, and he is very detail oriented. He explained every aspect of the cars features to me. Lastly he also worked with me to get the lowest interest rate possible, which was lower than my credit union was offering me. I am VERY PLEASED & HAPPY with my car purchase.

Very pleased with our used Tacoma and the overall experience. We traveled from Wheeling, WV to buy our truck. Saw it on Auto Trader, it was a good price and value, so I gave them a deposit to hold it over the phone. It was a few days before we were able to get there. Our saleswoman was Olga and before we left the dealership, she got into the truck and showed me every control and button on the dash, and helped pair up my phone. WHO DOES THAT KIND OF SERVICE? We have been in the vehicle business many years; we own a limo and car service. My late FIL owned a dealership years ago. We were just so impressed at this level of service and just for one little red Tacoma. Everyone from Olga to Santos in finance was friendly, kind and very transparent. The process of buying and trading in our car has been super easy. I did a lot of shopping for a RAV4 prime and their price was the cheapest of all the dealers in I spoke to in Maryland and that was most of the dealers in Maryland that had a RAV4 Prime in stock. They also matched the Carmax appraisal, which other dealers said they would but then utilized the trade in tax credit to reach the Carmax appraisal.

When I bought my car on June 14, 2021, they collected about $1500.00 from me for taxes, title, license, etc., then just pocketed that money and never sent in any of the documentation for those items. After waiting more than a month for my documents to arrive in the mail, I called DC DMV and they had not received any paperwork related to the car. I talked to two people at Fitzgerald and got two different explanations of why it had not been sent. Apparently, there were no plans EVER to send in the documentation until I called after a month without receiving my documents. When I called, they said they would send it in that day, which of course is what they said the day I bought the car. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE CROOKS!

I love to write a good review when it is well deserved so here it goes...As a young adult (late 20s), I grew up hearing that car dealerships were stressful and scary. This was far from the truth at Fitzgerald Toyota. The service and staff at this dealership were excellent. Tim Scorsune stayed in contact with me over email, text, and phone in the two weeks leading up to the purchase. He went out of his way to find me the perfect truck and get it on the lot as soon as possible. He was kind, professional, and TRANSPARENT (so many dealers wouldnt answer all of my questions but these guys did)!I will add that I reached out to around 6 dealerships about the car I wanted, a Toyota Tacoma, but all the dealers that got back to me avoided my questions and just wanted to get me in the door (which is super uncool during a global pandemic). It wasnt until my fiancee recommended Fitzgerald Toyota on a whim. She got a Subaru from another Fitzgerald dealership. Fitzgerald Toyota got back to me right away with an extremely competitive offer and we went from there. I was in my dream car less than two weeks later. We had a very painless car buying experience here with Frank who is the most amazing car salesman we have ever come across. We were looking to buy a Toyota Prius and were quite set on the model and trim. When I called the dealership in MD, we were fortunate to be assigned to Frank. Frank is patient, soft-spoken, and truly has the interest of the customers in mind. He was not pushy at all and did not try to upsell. On the contrary, he was actively trying to save us money. Indeed, we were extremely pleased by our interaction with Frank. After our paperwork with Frank was completed, we were ushered to Finance. Although it took us over an hour in the finance office, we realized that Frank was waiting for us outside to simply make sure we were taken care of and to say goodbye before we left. All of this even after we had completed the sale! Truly amazing. We had asked for our new car to be delivered. A couple of days later, it was Frank who hand delivered our car. Then too, he was patient and took time to show us all the features of the new car. Frank is a rare specimen. If only all the salespeople knew that patience, care, and thoughtfulness is what sells cars, car buying would be an entirely different experience. Thank you Frank for making ours a remarkable one. We look forward to working with Frank and Fitzgerald Toyota when we need to buy a second car in the future!
I bought a used car from here about 3 months ago and just recently found a few things that need to be fixed. I spoke with Curt, who is the used car manager and because I moved out of state, told me he’s going to find a dealership near me who can provide a fix. After all of this is fixed, I will come back and leave a review on how the whole ordeal was managed.

Best car buying experience period. I was able to get my dream car(launch edition Supra) from this dealership with the help of David R. He was more enthusiastic about the car than me! He provided excellent customer service from day one and kept in cummincation throughout the entire process. When I came to pick up the car. It was in immaculate condition and I was given red carpet/white glove treatment. Give this man a raise!

Had been looking to trade in my luxury SUV for a newer sedan. Found an Acura TLX that caught my eye on Truecar.com. Submitted an interest online and promptly received a call back from Beman H. in sales. He accommodated my schedule to come in to view/testdrive the car. He clearly explained to me how Fitzgerald does business and made me feel at ease with the process. He understood that it was all a numbers issue for me to reduce my overall costs out the door to maintain my primary vehicle, without sacrifice too much of the technological comforts I was used to. I was greatly satisfied with the trade-in value of my vehicle (noticeably higher than both Carvana and Carmax) and my financing terms were very favorable given my circumstances. The finance specialist (whose name escapes me) was incredibly friendly and thorough. This was hands-down, the best (pain/hassle-free) car shopping/buying experience Ive ever had.
I can’t say enough good things about Fitzgerald Toyota Gaithersburg, but the best thing was our sales rep, Seena. He is amazing! Fitzgerald management: give this man a big bonus, and give one to his manager, Kevin, too! I traveled from Texas to buy our dream car, and Seena went above and beyond to ensure that the the entire process went smoothly. As a result, I expect that we’ll be buying our next car from Fitzgerald, too. Management: this young man should be heading up your customer service department. Seena helped us trade in our old RAV and lease a new Highlander. He was amazing! Friendly, knowledgeable, understanding—we came in on a Monday with our 7 year old to test drive and run all the numbers, then we called him back the next morning to say we’d made a decision and he got everything rolling for us before we even arrived. We were in and out in about an hour and Seena made it so easy! No pressure, no haggling. Been going there since 2010 and Fitzgerald continues to impress!
Fitzgerald rocks!! They truly care about the customer and work hard to make things happen. Rahaf went the extra mile to make this a great car buying experience. She wasn’t pushy but very attentive and took care of everything we needed, even after the deal was closed. Also in the finance dept, Genesis was fantastic. Again, no hard sales push but very attentive and helpful in all the products. Car buying is at a different level at Fitzgerald- a good experience. Will be back.
