I came in for an oil change. I was sold a bunch of other things I didnt ask for, but thats par for the course. They told me it would be 1.5 hours and it was actually 3.5 hours. Again, annoying, but par for the course. What REALLY shocked me was that I came in with a damaged but still functioning door handle. I pointed it out to Jim, the supervisor(?), when I came in and he said it was a common issue, but that it wouldnt need to be replaced. After 3.5 hours when my car was ready, the door handle was broken off. No one took responsibility for it and indeed Jim tried to blame me saying the handle was broken when I came in. Finally, they agreed to order a new one for me and cover the labor. Its been two weeks. Ive e-mailed and left phone messages and Ive never heard back about the door handle. Im going to find as many review platforms as I can to warn people away from this place.

Have been going here for years and no problems until last year, the customer service has gone downhill.Horrible location to receive service from they rushed and did my last service causing issues to my vehicle. Will not call or go over issues they find with you in person and the handwriting from the mechanics look like chicken scratch, which will be hard for you to read.Ive been to different service locations who will inform me of issues before they tell me my car is ready for pickup so that I can make the decision to get it done there or somewhere else. This service location will not tell you anything. Spend your money someplace else where you will be treated better.

Criswell is by far better than any dealership I’ve been too. I bought my first car (2018 392) and loved my service, from purchase to maintainence. So much that I bought my second car from Criswell dodge.(2020 widbody392) the service only gets better lol. I live in DC and I would rather drive the distance to Criswell in Gaithersburg than go to somewhere like DARCARS or Orisman which is minutes from me. That’s says a lot. Told salesman wanted newly manufactured tires as recommended by Maryland. He assured me they were recently manufactured in 2021(much older tires put on my car (January 2020). All my phone calls not returned. Also I was charged over, $700 for work not requested. Last time I was there heard an angry customer questioning a $1200 bill when all he wantrd was an oil and filter change. Would like to know if this is common practice for this shop. Maybe we have a class action case against this dealership.Also had to pay $49 for using a credit card. Another rip off. They had my car and no way home to get a check.

I worked with Gene Hoffman. I bought a used 2015 Hyundai Sonata. I have had some bad experiences when it comes to dealerships (Ourisman Rockville and Sheehy Manassas)… these guys are phenomenal. I spent months searching and researching so I know I got the absolutely best deal with these guys and it was no hassle. I didn’t feel pressured and have no buyers remorse. The car is amazing. I have also used the Chevy service center, on the same campus, for my previous car which Ourisman destroyed. At both the dealership and the service center they answer your questions and have actual answers. They are fair, knowledgeable, and competent. If you’re looking to buy a car in Montgomery County, skip the headache and take the trip to Criswell.

After spending most of the day and $700 for a 30,000 mile servicing. 48 hours later a software update failure occurred. Message: “Update Failed – An error occurred during the update procedure. Please contact your dealer.”If service quality excellence is your goal and for the amount of money charged for this milestone service I would think that Criswell would have checked for software updates as part of the multi-point inspection promised/performed as part of this service visit.SAD…

The service department at Gaithersburg Criswell has to be the WORST service department Ive ever visited.. I explained the issue with my brand new car when scheduling my appointment, took time off work, came into have it fixed. The service advisor was more interested in flirting with the receptionist, while I stood there waiting, ok not a huge deal. Then they tag my car and park it outside. Later the service advisor comes to repeat the know issue I already explained and said they need to order back orders parts. My car was not even inspected or brought into the shop to verify... Ok, this is a bigger safety issue and I have wasted a whole morning. I have since emailed pretty much all the managment about my concerns and frustration MULTIPLE times with ZERO response. The unprofessional behavior and lack of any concern for customers is the reason my family will never visit this place again.

The people were friendly and they seemed to have done a good workmanship, as far as I could tell. In my opinion they made an error by starting the easy stuff before they looked at the hard stuff. This resulted in my car requiring two days to fix instead of one. If they had started with the challenging part of the repair at the get-go my family wouldnt have had to been without our all essential minivan for two hole days.

Went in for a routine oil change. Asked if they would check my brakes and my passenger headlight because it keeps flickering on and off. Everything was done except the headlight. It still goes out. It went out that same day after I left the dealership. Not happy at all.

I was having intermittent problems with my radio system. My service writer looked into the symptoms and determined that I needed to have my radio head unit replaced. I came in and they took it in and completed the swap in 45 minutes! No problems with the replacement. Great service.

I had the gold carwash and my car looks beautiful!! There was sap on the windshield which they took care of. Theres also coffee inside in case you need a coffee break. It does take a little time for the car wash, quality cant be rushed.

I give Shane five stars. Shane the Service manager went above and beyond with his excellent service. He also made sure my car was completed to satisfactory levels. Unfortunately my check engine light has reappeared. When I start my engine a notice on my dashboard saying “Engine service is needed. I just paid over $5,000 for my car to be fixed and for these messages to no longer be present. This is happening ONE day after paying for my cars finished work. The work is under warranty. I will observe my cars performance at this time.

Made an early morning appointment to get a check engine light diagnosed at commercial trucks. After being told it would take a couple hours, I didnt hear back at all for over 4 hours. Was told by Tyler that the DPF filter needed to be replaced. He then told me the van would be ready by 4pm. 4pm rolls around, no word from Tyler. I call, vans not ready, have to call back again and again (almost closing time now), when he finally tells me I can pick it up – doesnt think to call me to let me know its ready?When I get there the repair slip says that after looking into it, the DPF filter was already new, so they didnt replace it. All they did was clear the check engine code and run the van for 20 miles and charged me around $250 for it. Tyler repeatedly denied that he said the filter needed to be replaced and charged me the same amount he quoted earlier even though all that was done was pushing a reset button to clear a code and running my van which I could (and would) have done myself. Terrible customer service, poor communication, big rip off, and a day lost.

I found a car that was exactly the car I had been desiring. Unfortunately I live 1000 miles away from the dealership and they treated me exactly like that. The customer service has been awful to say the least. 5 days later the car is still on their lot with no answer to when it would ship out. I had to cancel the shipping the arranged and provide my own shipping. The finance dept didnt return calls or emails promptly if at all. This has been a nightmare of an experience. I would not recommend this dealership for any internet sales of any type. I just hope I finally get my truck in the condition it was presented on the internet

I went into dealership with pre-approval from USAA. I picked out the jeep I intended to purchase and was told I had to wait until dealership received funds. Three days later, USAA informed me dealer had not yet sent over paperwork. Salesperson admitted they were trying to beat my credit unions interest rate and had not even begun the process of receiving my already approved funds. The fourth day, my salesperson called and said to come get jeep despite funding not having gone through yet. Dealer had finally submitted paperwork, but did not follow directions from bank. Two weeks after bringing jeep home, Im still receiving calls from USAA saying (after several reminders) dealer still did not put USAA down as lienholder, so paperwork can not go through until they correct this.

Came in for an oil change, next day my check engine light was on. I dropped off my car and they told me they would give me a rental but then they said they couldn’t find me a rental. They had my car for 4 days and I had to keep calling to get an update. Each time they would tell me the same thing and they would say they would call me to update me & when they did call me it was nothing informative.

We ended with a jeep that we love, but that was the most painful vehicle buying process ever endured. Additionally, we were told the cilajet application was to be completed before we left and thought it was. Guess what....it wasnt. Received a call today to schedule an appointment to bring it back in for application. We live 2+ hours away. Just go somewhere else.

Jim Clutter was the Assistant Advisor that helped me with my Jeep. Great customer service, very professional guy. He really took care of me. I have to say, Ive came to this location before and was hesitant to come back but since they are the only closest one to where I live I thought I give it one more shot. As I was greeted by Jim he admittedly looked me up in the system and then without asking looked to see if I had warranty, this is something previously did not get done so you can imagine when I got the bill how shocked I was and how long it took to get the paper work changed over. So you can imagine how relieved I felt knowing he knew exactly what to do. When we looked up the issue why my engine light came on he made sure from then on he will do his best to help my jeep feel 100% better. He communicated with me through phone and was very professional and understood my needs and my budget. When you have a person working in that kind of mentality that outs the customers first you know your jeep is in good hands. Im very keen on who oversees my jeep, i love this Jeep! Overall Im no longer hesitant to come back i will for now on call Jim for any issues I may have. Thanks Jim! Ill be back to get my Maintenance soon!!!! 5 stars man! I bought a 2020 Ram Limited in April. I live in Western PA (about 3.5 hours away). The entire deal was done over the phone. The whole process was smooth. Paperwork exchanged via FedEx overnight mail. We split the delivery cost and I had my new truck about a week after coming to a deal.The truck arrived clean and with a full tank of gas.I took away one star because when I first arrived at a deal, I was told that the truck I had been negotiating on had sold four days prior! Luckily, they had the twin of the truck on their lot (Its VIN number was one higher than the one I’d been originally talking about). They honored the same price even though the April incentives had changed for May....which would have made the truck about $4k higher.They were respectful over the phone and kept me updated of the whole process. I’ll happily refer my friends here to reach out to them for future purchases.

We bought a new Pacifica Hybrid and have had a good experience up until 5 weeks after. The car would be parked at home in the garage over night hooked up to the charger and the fan would suddenly come on full blast (all night) as it shook the house and kept the kids up. Criswell checked it out and said they could do no more to help the problem and it was normal. We spend $40k on a new vehicle and Carl our salesperson told us we were on our own... Hung up on me. Terrible. we are now worried about safety if the fan comes on all night then the battery must be overheating but Criswell says its not there problem.

Dont even know how to diagnose the vehicle all the technicians and management is unfit.Also they apply fraud charges.This service centre is all about lies, they told me there some repair in my transmission but I took my vehie other centre they said my transmission is good and problem is with wiring I got it foxed spending more money. Mr, Ronald is the director he even lied and tried to cover his employees lies.Guys please check once before you took your car here.We love our vehicles so I hope this will help and save people who should not face trouble like me.

He explained the charges and said he had a coupon for the oil change and tire rotation, which would save us almost $30! Then we were very pleasantly surprised that when it was all said and done, the service was free as a thank you from Criswell for purchasing our Jeep there! We were very impressed and will definately recommend Criswell to our friends & family!! Thanks again for the amazing service!!

Had a great experience buying a car here. Conner responded to my emails and answered all my questions. Didn’t pressure me to come in and gave me a full price breakdown before I walked through the door. Conner honored my True Car $500 off coupon which another Jeep dealer lied about being unable to accept it with other rebates. When I came in Conner was off and I finished the deal with Khalil. Khalil was professional, very helpful and made sure our new car was washed and had a full tank of gas. If you are buying a new car here I would deal with Conner or Khalil.
