Great place for quality meats! We recently picked up their in-house burger blend for a BBQ and what a crowd favorite! Multiple friends inquired about the burgers as they were delicious. I will never buy a regular supermarket burger ever again. The unique blend is amazing and because the burgers are ground in-house versus a mass plant, I can actually make the burger medium. The service is great too. We called in our order the day before and went to pick up, they had it nicely packaged and ready for me to take. Highly recommend, A+.

Stopped by this morning to check them out. Drive not wasted! I was met with great service and a phenomenal selection of fresh meats. If youre in to pork belly like I am, they tend to stock it towards the end of the week. I read through the reviews before making the drive up from a few townships away. I would counter any 1 star review with an opinion that they didnt give this butcher a fair chance. Ill be back.

A friend of mine just gave be a partial bag of the Honey Sting Beef Jerky (Sweet & Spicy) and Im blown away by it. By FAR the best jerky Ive ever had in my entire life... WOW! I didnt know jerky could be this flavorful, and the texture is amazing, too. Jack Links has got nothing on Chop Shops beef jerky! I found my new favorite jerky snack.If the jerky is this good, I cant wait to buy a couple cuts of their filet mignon and cook it up on the grill!

Love this place - we have been shopping here during grilling season since they opened, never disappoints. The meat is always beautifully trimmed and perfectly marbled depending on the cut. We love trying all of the fresh local sausages.

I went in to pick up the filets I ordered for Fathers day. Picked up a couple burgers for tonight. Fantastic! I seared them in a cast iron pan then finished in the oven. Wonderful.

Went to get good quality steak for my brothers birthday. Tried the ribeye steak and the birthday boy really enjoyed the steak! Will definitely go back again!

This is the best butcher around! We drive a half hour for all our meat purchases. Prices are good for prime cuts! They have specialty cuts (you should call and order ahead if you are looking for something particular, they can get it) and other meat related items. I picked up some Peter Luger steak sauce today and we are not even having steaks tonight. Friendly and helpful every time. Thanks!

Went here the other day because my daughter wanted steak for dinner. They had a nice variety of cuts, some I had never seen before. Upon the recommendation of the butcher, I got the Denver steak. It was nicely marbled, and had the right amount of chew to it. The flavor was really good. This was certainly a high quality product. I will definitely be back.

This place rules.PRO:-they cut meat on site, and dont freeze what they cut.-they can produce cuts that you wont find in a store.-the owner can order just about any animal from a great many suppliers. Hes super friendly.-staff keep the shop super clean.-wide variety of products from many different animals.CON:-expensive compared to a grocery store. But you should know that already.-not open on Monday?-honestly nothing is wrong with this place, just go there.Consider me a regular.

Simply put - any true carnivore who resides in the local area either already knows about this butchery, or is in dire need of a visit. The quality and variety of meats here are unrivaled. I consistently am able to purchase the best steaks of my life here, and often send in family and friends. The staff here are not only very knowledgeable, but are very friendly. Every experience and visit to this store is a memorable one. I could not recommend this place more!

We ordered a standing rib roast for Christmas dinner and everyone agreed that it was the best rib roast we have ever eaten.We just grilled a tenderloin, 4/28, from the Chop Shop for my father’s birthday and it was the best meat we have ever eaten ever period.Any restaurant at any price.Tall praise from a family that grew up eating meat selected by a butcher.Supermarket meat is not in the same league.

If you are looking for that top quality only reserved for top end steak places but want to do it at home for a lot less the Chop Shop Buthchery will not disappoint. I found this local butcher today as I was searching for a really good Valentines Day meal for my wife and I. Well ... This place rocks! I came home with two boneless rib-eyes with white truffle butter (as John told me - this can only be found in Italy - so I had to try it). I put the rib-eyes on the charcoal Weber and cooked to a perfect medium rare. Excellent quality of beef. I will absolutely be back!

Been here several times already, first time to get ribs to smoke, and they trimmed them and everything. Most recently put in a special steak order that was handled perfectly. Will continue to return here for all my beef/pork needs.

I have gone there multiple times and have never been disappointed.Update: I have been purchasing filets, brats, pork shoulder, ribeyes with absolute satisfaction. Today I was a little lazy, didn’t want to do much tonight, and tried their hamburgers. Now their hamburgers are a blend of hamburger, chuck, brisket and love. These are a must. The taste was amazing.Be careful. I am sure they are addictive.
