Wonderful little book store tucked away in the back of a shopping plaza. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I didnt buy anything on my first visit, but if I ever come back, Ill pick up something to support a local business.

Great selection! They moved all the books written by tr*mp to general humor which is as much a stroke of genius as any I can think of. Highly recommend.

Great little bookstore. Staff is really nice. What I like most about it is how you can definitely just wander around and look for something that catches your eye but its also organized well enough that you can walk in looking for a specific genre or even a specific author and often find what youre looking for. They also have a phenomenal selection of comic books and all the prices are very good.

Wonder Books has been my favorite local second hand bookstore for years. If youre looking for that book smell, WB is the place to go. It has a good selection of books, esp. classics as well.

Stellar bookstore with lots of selection and great prices. You would be hard pressed to walk out of there without a stack of books. Which there was more variety with the horror section though besides VC Andrews, Stephen King, and Anne Rice.

As with all the Wonder Book locations, exploring the labyrinth of books to have that one special new friend come out and say Hi is always fun. This is always a new experience every time you go. The staff at all the locations are wonderful, friendly and helpful. It is a joy to walk through and spend hours exploring the shelves!

Some changes over the years but still a great place to get your previously owned books. The selection of self-improvement audio has dropped off significantly. This was my primary purchase at wonderbooks in the past. I now seek these at other places due to a poor selection here and lack of interest by the staff/management in offerings.

A good used book store that contains a good selection of used books, DVDs and records. A cool feature of the store is that they offer a less than 1$ racks outside with DVDs CDs etc that is interesting to browse for bargains. They have a good selection of records in a seperate room for those looking for records to purchase.

I cant attest to their prices and selection if you are looking to buy, however if you are looking to sell, dont waste your time. They offer $1 a bag or box. They really should be honest on their website that its only $1! A true waste of a Saturday afternoon driving there.

Walls and walls and walls of books! It feels like stepping into another world when we go into Wonder Books. A wide selection of all sorts of materials with helpful staff. They even have music and movies for sale as well! Its everything I want in a book store.

The record isle is actually fire. Found a whole bunch of good stuff back there, made my night going through and searching through different bins for some classics

Good food, fast drive through service. A tad expensive for fast food. Often too much ice in fountain drinks. Lousy ambiance.

More books than my at my local library! Great hidden gem with a wide selection of books and other media. They have other locations that expand their collection.

One of my favorite bookstores! Everywhere you look there is Tray-sure! Employees are nice helpful and the inventory is huge with two other locations within an hour! Always good deals!

Bookstore is magnificent. They have a massive collection of books on any topic and in every genre imaginable. The organization is loose but understandable and adds to the comfortable feel of the place. The record collection is not as good as I would have liked. The cheaper selections are fairly priced, but any well-known rock album (if you could find one) is $50. Overall I really enjoyed myself there and will definitely be back.

Great place to wander and find little surprises for yourself. Music, films and books. If they dont have it in store, they can help you look for it elsewhere and have it shipped to your home. I live the place.

Could there be a better used bookstore nearby? No. Could spend hours in here just soaking up the aura of the written word. Pleasant staff. COVID rules in effect, but, hey, who wants to get sick. My biggest problem is that I keep finding books I want but cant get right now! Records and CDs, too, at decent prices.

I have ordered online multiple times in my life and have never received such awful service as I have through Wonderbook. Recently I ordered and purchased a “Guitar Hero 3” video game from Wonderbooks ebay store. The game came quickly but was not as advertised. I payed over 100$ for a Game with a guitar controller but only received the game. Wonderbooks add shows a picture of a game NEXT to a guitar that you play the game with. When I tried contacting Wonderbooks store I kept getting transferred back and fourth between their 3 stores Eventually an employee gave me a number to a warehouse. I called the warehouse and was not able to contact a person just multiple recordings with dead ends. Nobody in their right mind would pay over 100$ for a game you can’t even play without the proper controller.I ordered the game for my nephew for Christmas10/10 Scumbags

Cozy, packed (with books) used book store. Lots of hidden treasures and mass market books alike. Have been going every so often for 8 years and never disappointed, a great place just to browse.

This used bookstore is without a doubt one of the best! Yes, the staff is super helpful, but the selection is incredible and getting lost in the stacks is a cool way to while away an hour or two.I dont like tripping over the piles of DVDs, but I enjoy losing myself in various genres from time to time.

I absolutely love Wonder Books! It is a treasure trove of popular books and hard to find treasures. Be sure to allot plenty of time if you decide to wander down the aisles at the store... its easy to lose track of time!

Wonderful selection of movies, music and books

Absolutely a treasure. Cannot say enough about this wonderful store. Mysterious, cozy, unique and bargains upon bargains youd be hard press to come in with an extra $20 and not leave with something. What makes this so wonderful is not just a large selection but a bountiful crop of unique items. Items like wonderful out of print childrens classics in great condition for under $10, 1st edition Stephen King for bargain price, wonderful paperbacks in great conditions and different covers at rock bottom prices. I love the amazing postcards and prints that decorate the store and are also a steal. This is an ideal bargain Christmas shopping and scrap booking territory. Staff is always friendly and despite the large selection everything is well organized and in alphabetical order, an impressive feat considering the amount items the have. If youre a vinyl collector or just like displaying albums this is a must visit Im fairly sure for treasure hunters there is gold to be had. I know Ive gotten cds in Near Mint condition with promotional stickers and hard to find singles with just a quick scan. Over all please visit support and donate I would love to see this store go on for 50+ years. Simply amazing.

A bibliophiles absolute dream come true. Walking in, the smell of old books immediately welcomes you and there are tomes as far as the eye can see. Reasonably priced, staff is helpful & open to discussing pricing when purchasing a large number of books. Would live here if I could.

This place is great! They have a wide variety of books on almost any subject you can imagine. I always spend too much time here but always leave happy.

Amazing selections of books. You would be hard pressed to find a bookstore with such a diverse and expansive offering across genres. Largely the books are fairly well organized and great condition.Definitely check out the record room. The selection is amazing!!The one downside is prices. They seem to be be inconsistent and it is unclear how they choose to do their pricing. You will definitely find a range of deals, but not always steals.

A great shop with some cool finds. Im a comic geek but they dont have a lot of comics but they do have a lot of comic novels and series! They also have a huge science fiction and fantasy section that I love. Ive been here twice and will be back many more times!

Its bigger than it looks! They have a huge collection and helpful staff. Specific things can sometimes be hard to find in its section but those types of hunts usually turn up things you werent expecting. Easy to spend more time here than you plan.

Could spend an afternoon here lost in the stacks. You have to look hard for treasures, but there is always something to bring home to read.

Truly a diamond in the rough. Only come here with $40 cash and a few hours to kill. I could spend hours browing the aisles looking for hidden gems and lost treasures. The staff is very nice and the shelves are well organized (all things considered).

I started going there in I believe 2010 because I was able to find all of the old book that you can’t get in regular bookstores. Plus the employees there are very nice and very helpful.

They will take your boxes of old books in bulk. Just call in advance.

This is a Great find for used books. I have found some excellent resource to teach with as well as for personal reading. You can search books online and get them delivered to the store with a discount. Great book gem.

Great second hand bookstore! It also has online bookstore. You can make reservation and pay online and pick up at the store. They also buy books and DVDs with better rate than other second hand stores.

Such a sweet, quaint store. Clerks were great. Didnt rush us. We were there, lost, for hours and spent $100 for more than 30 books. Definitely going back there again and again and again.

I had a bunch of books I was looking to unload, and Wonder book came up as the closest place to me. After checking out the website I was excited to go there, I was planning to take store credit and do some shopping after selling my old books. My experience was not so good, the girl who helped me kind of made me feel like an idiot because I didnt know how their selling process worked. Apparently I was supposed to drive around back and unload the books there. I didnt get much for my books which was fine, that didnt bother me, what did bother me was being treated like I was the most annoying person to ever step foot into the shop. I just took the cash instead of the credit and left because I didnt want to be in that store a second longer. Which is unfortunate because it seemed like a really interesting place. Ive worked in customer service since I was 17 years old, and I dont expect to be treated like a queen or anything, but I do expect to be treated with some respect. It was embarrassing, I really felt stupid for not knowing how to sell my books there. I must have missed that part on the site, or I would have followed the instructions. Im really sorry that my experience was so bad because I wanted to love it there. I love books and music. I dont love being treated like human garbage. 2 stars because the actual store seems cool.

So many cheap books its amazing what you can find there!

Of the three Wonder Book locations, this one has had the best inventory of books on history Im interested in (the other two locations Ive walked out of empty handed multiple times). There are a lot of recycled books (discards from libraries, no dust covers, etc), but all are readable and serviceable for reading copies. However, their trade policy is basically buy everything, condition not a factor, but they state up front that most books have no value so offers are very low. Granted, many books are in fact plentiful and cheap, but when you have books that are next to new with current year copyrights and get an offer of -maybe- a quarter per book, it doesnt incline one to sell, especially with so many dated books on the shelf (not a lot of current stuff to be found). As it is, theres some decent stuff here, but its definitely a last resort kind of place and not a place I really frequent. Also, the staff, while not blatantly rude, generally encourage me to make haste in getting in and out by hanging out at the front and loudly joking and gossiping on any occasion Ive been there, usually without much of an acknowledgment to those walking in. Im not against downtime by any stretch, and it takes a lot to break my focus when Im in a book store, yet on the occasions I have been here, its distracting. Theres worse places, but several better.

Loved this place! Who knew there was such a wonderful used books, tapes and record store hidden away in Gaithersburg! My experience was absolutely thrilling and the staff extremely accommodating. I found exactly what I was looking for both times!

A real bookstore of old! You can get lost among the shelves and the smell of old books is like a perfume. Theyll take your old unwanted books off your hands, and give you (a small amount or, admittedly) store credit or cash for them! The people are friendly and helpful, and I need to get back there to throw money at them (and hope others do too) so this and stores like it stay in business!
