This is THE place to buy your Lincoln. On Saturday, I bought a Lincoln from the Sheehy team in Gaithersburg. It was a very straightforward and easy purchase! I received excellent help from Clay and Armick in Sales and Dave in Finance. I knew generally what I wanted when I arrived, and Armick helped me choose the best option for what I could afford. Clay walked me through the documents efficiently but with the detail needed to understand. The test drive was excellent and I had a chance to ask all my questions about the car. Dave was able to find me a financing option that fit my needs and was patient when he re-explained the options when I got confused. The best thing about this purchase is that I felt like I was working with friends who were helping me buy a car, and not a sales team trying to sell a car. I would highly recommend this team!! Thank you Sheehy! I love my new (to me) car!
Do not purchase a Sheehy service plan. It is a serious waste of time and money. Even with an appointment it is very inconvenient and frustrating to wait hours for a simple oil change. Save yourself the trouble and just go to jiffy lube
Took my F250 back to the selling dealership, Sheehy Gaithersburg, after being in a wreck. They were extremely responsive and helpful. Entire right side bed panel, right rear spring, exhaust, tailgate, ect had to be replaced or repaired. Extremely professional and accomidating. Had some issues getting a couple of parts, through no fault of their own, due to the pandemic and shipping but were on top of it every step of they way. They even provided me with a loaner when my insurance company rental ran out. Couldnt be happier with the worked performed and the end result. Great job Kevin, Erica, the body shop team, Holly and the entire Gaithersburg team
I brought my Ford in to have some recalls addressed, which is a free service. However, the service center told they recommend investigating a window that wouldn’t roll down (I knew about this, but due to it being a 2012 car I wasn’t looking to spend a lot of money as it’s not worth that much and I probably won’t drive it too much longer), that I needed new brakes/rotors, to flush the break lines, and an oil change. I appreciate that they identified things that needed fixed, however- they wanted to charge me $900. My dad has worked in dealerships/repair shops, so I consulted him. He said this service center was trying to charge me more than 2X what I should be paying (I now plan to get new brakes elsewhere or simply replace them with my dads help). Unfortunately I already agreed to let them “diagnose” my faulty window and change my oil before talking to my dad. They said they already had to take the door apart for the recall, so they would only charge 50% for taking the door apart to look at the window. So let me get this straight- I paid $85 (full price was $170!) for something they already had to do for free per the recall? The icing on the cake: they quoted me another $270 to fix that window after “diagnosing,” I declined but this resulted in them being unable to perform the recall on any of my potentially faulty door latches. Great. So long story short, even though they seem nice- you should expect them to overcharge for work done in their service center. Go somewhere else for repairs!!
