I realize that its the job of the service folks to try to upsell you, even when you come in for something as basic as an oil change, but it doesnt make it any less frustrating. That said, with that one exception, they were very professional and helpful. I arrived 15 minutes early for my appointment, but they signed me in right away. I was told the service would take about an hour, and it took about an hour and 15 minutes, not bad at all.

I had to call three times road services because my 2007/Prius would not start. Once started, it was clear the battery had power. Service center determined it was a problem with the smart key. While replacing the key was pricey, it was better than replacing a car that was not dependable.

Horrible customer service manner, I used to go here for my car but now their customer service is unbelievably rude. You don’t even have to go there. Just call and you will feel the tension. If you want to schedule a service or check for appointments they make you feel like an inconvenience to their work. No hello, no goodby, no respect.

I went to Toyota yesterday at the Fitzgerald Toyota in Gaithersburg to perform my regular service and I was really thrill with the service I received. The man that assisted me was Ado Evans, and this guy has always been wonderful. He is knowledgable, helpful, listened and always show care. He will also explained in detail of whatever service you are to receive or what to expect .The last time I went to do my tires there and was so amazed. It is very rare for me to go to a dealer for tire, usually I go to Costco, but Ados dedicated service made me did my tires at the dealer.I had to ask his boss how can I show my appreciation of what Ado did, and he is the one who told me to come to Google and write a review.Mr. Jack Fitzgerald, please be aware that Ado Evans is really someone whom you can rely on to make customers want to come to Toyota all the time.

Very pleased with my most recent trip to the Service Center. Steve W. was super helpful again with my general service and even helped make an appointment for me. It’s worth the drive out of Frederick every time I go here. Super happy with the WiFi in the lounge as I was able to get some office work done while I waited. Will be back!

Steve W. Is the best. He’s been my service agent every visit except for one. He makes sure I have a rental car when I drop my car off or if I’m waiting - I’m never there more than a hour. I for sure recommend making a service appointment ahead of time. Steve’s customer service is out of this world. Great attitude, remembers your name, and gives you an actual idea of how long you’ll be waiting as well as cost.

LOW CUSTOMER SERVICE: The customer service is inconsiderate, uncultured and unbelievably devoid of customer service. I had two vouchers of $35 each; I tried to utilize my both vouchers cumulatively as a one transaction but I was told, I can only use them separately instead one transaction. First, prices of the most of the stuff/items are higher then market; secondly, these are my vouchers, so I should use per my choice to utilize at one transaction and it is inconvenient to chose items separately for each voucher; thirdly, they consider, these vouchers as favor instead it is part of a contract. When I asked for this inconvenience; they responded with typical answer, they can’t do anything because these are their rules and when I complained to one of the manager, his response was same with inconsiderate face and gesture, it is their rule instead to come up with some empathetic response as they apologize for this inconvenience etc. and they would bring this issue in notice of their management, which can console customer (unfortunately in the end he said, what do I want 😭). Also, they even don’t have any bag to carry purchased items ( they can charge for a bag but at least they should carry any sort of a bag).

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!! If I could give it zero stars I would. I took my car for a brake concern and the associate was rude and not helpful at all. I thought since my car is not even a year old I would be given a loaner car. The associate responded my plan did not included that and his posture was so overbearing, he did not even try to go above and beyond nor did he try to make an effort to. I understand if a loaner is not included anymore but the way the associate handled it left a very negative experience towards this place.This place has gotten worse and worse over the years!! This will be the last time I will take both my cars to this place for service.

Dropped the ball getting this review in sooner but I just want to say that the service here is transparent and good quality. Steve W. is one of the main reasons I drive down from Frederick, MD to this Toyota Service Center despite having a Darcars location less then 5 min from me. Ive had several other solid reps help me here but, when I can, I usually aim to get Steve W. Like other reps, Steve is very easy to talk to, not pushy and helpful in letting me know what bits of work can wait or be done at another time. Lastly, I want to give a shout out to the manager (apologies I dont recall his name) of the department who helped me a few years back with tries for my old Tacoma, he saw I was having constant issues and brought a solution I didnt think of to the table. Solid Service location.

Took my Tacoma for an oil change, when I purchased it they said it was included for two years or 25,000 miles whichever comes first free of charge, in the dealership they clearly explained that the first oil change has to be done at 5,000 miles or 5 months whichever comes first, my truck has 3,000 miles and 5 months old but they only performed the pointless 27 point inspections and refused to do the oil change because it’s low mileage, and why they did the 27 point inspection on a brand new vehicle? And no oil change? that is ridiculous and when I told them that it’s not what they said when they sold me the vehicle, their response was that they were not there when they told me that. Period

The service was good, nothing out of the ordinary, but when we received our car I noticed the low tire pressure warning light was on and no one had commented on it. One staff member walking by the curbside service desk noticed my confusion and asked how he could help. He checked the car and determined the spare tire was low and explained that with 20 years experience one learns which models have things like pressure sensors on the spare tire. He quickly took the car back, put air in the tire and solved the problem. Heres five stars for the guy who made the extra effort!

This Toyota dealership is known all over the region and my family has been using them for over 10 years for multiple vehicles. Recently I strayed from the center and used another repair facility that quoted me over $2,000 for a repair. I approached Donnie Dietrichson who slashed that by more than half. Donnie and Gil Briggs made sure I was well taken care of, and I saw them doing the same thing for other customers while I waited!Great, great service and transparency. I would highly recommend. If anything, I would suggest the valet guys outside remember some customers are brand new to the facility and explain politely to them what the process of servicing their car will be, as they process the intake. What a great experience I had this morning when calling in to make a service appointment for our 4Runner!The gentlemen was pleasant, professional and polite. The process was very efficient, he must of looked up my info with my phone number. He confirmed my name, had the vehicle information and asked appropriate questions to help isolate the issue. He finished the call with informing me of the safety protocols for the service waiting area, technicians, and let me know the vehicle would be sanitized! The entire call took four minutes and I’ve already received a text and email confirmation!Best customer experience I’ve had with a service department!

I’m glad the job got done, but I’m not pleased. I had a maintenance scheduled here to get some stuff done including the oil change, unluckily the day before that appointment I hit something on the road and I got a flat tire because my wheel bent. They accommodated that for me but also told me I needed all new tires so I figured even though I had received a cheaper quote for all 4 tires and a new wheel the day before I would just get them here because as written in the paper my car required a lot of repairs. I was given a free loaner which was nice and told that my car would be ready the next day. I dropped my car with them at 9:15am on a Monday and I just picked it up around 3 on thursday. The tires feel good but I was given a run around that they only had one tire shipped in and were waiting for 3 more this was on Tuesday. They didn’t get the remaining 3 tires until Thursday supposedly. My friend that used to be a mechanic here told me all 4 tires for came in at once so they must have been using that as an excuse that the tires weren’t all in. I’m almost wishing I would have just had my repairs done there that Monday morning and drove up the road on my spare a bit more to get the tires done that day. If they lied to me about tires that came in separately I’m wondering what they lied to me about the repairs needing to be done. I just spent $1600 on repairs and new tires the least they could do was tell me the mechanics were behind on work... also, what Toyota dealership doesn’t offer hubcaps when replacing tires after noticing I had 2 missing? I’m also supper frustrated with grease stains all over my white car, the least they could have done was wipe them off or run it through a car wash. There are even grease stains inside my car and I brought it in freshly washed. Note to Toyota, if someone is spending that much money with you to fix their car and you hold it hostage for 4 days at least wipe off your grease stains. This was my first time bringing my car to you and you’re welcome for my money but I won’t be back. I’d rather wait for my dealership even though they book out 2 weeks in advance for an oil change. I regret spending this much money with people that lied to me and didn’t even wipe down their fingerprints from my car OR offer me two hubcaps.UPDATE:I’m going to write this update, and give a better rating. Gil, the manager reached out extremely quickly to talk about my frustrations with me. He sent me the invoices of shipping information for tires and how much the rental would have cost me. He offered to remedy my situation with the cleanliness of the car by sending someone to me to pick up my car and take it to the car wash. (Even though I scrubbed and scrubbed at those grease marks), he even sent the person who can easily to wash my car with a box of replica hubcaps so I can protect my wheels! he made me feel better about my frustrations and now I don’t feel as bad about spending the money I did. Thank you Gil, I appreciate your help. And for going above and beyond with me after hearing my frustrations! I will be back!

This is a response to Mr. Gil Briggs:A friend came over last night and told us (after the fact) about a horrific experience with your service department. It led to a 5 page letter due to shady business practices and a full refund of about $800 from your corporate office. But to the point of my issue...Your response is reflective of the poor service of your location. It is not the batteries nor the key fobs. It was known prior to the second attempt that the issue is something else and your company was supposed to diagnose it rather than do the same exact thing twice. That the car sat for four days before driving it and not receiving an error message is irrelevant. It could be 40 days. But, again, this was communicated and ignored. The issue manifests after driving the car consistently for a day or two. If you pop in a new battery it is fine initially. Again, this was known but ignored. No assistance was requested at this time, nor needed. Please do not respond unless it is via USPS mail with an explanation of how to submit reimbursement for my lost wages dealing with the incompetence of your staff. I will not include my time spent submitting a review or editing this response. I will determine losses using the OPM Expert and Consultant pay schedule. As an act of good faith, you may reimburse the credit card of my wife. All this information is on file so feel free to surprise me by refunding the charge. There is no need to communicate with me further. I will be taking the car to a competing dealership, addressing the issue as appropriate, and purchasing our new vehicle from them. If I am contacted again, I will submit further Google 1 star reviews from each member of my family affected.________________________________________________________________________Initial service related to Low Key Battery warning. Multiple batteries used from different suppliers and warning always returns shortly after driving. New key fob purchased at Fitzgerald and paid for programming. Warning light returned within two days. Took car to our mechanic and he said that the computer showed no error codes and that the receiver passed as well. Called Fitzgerald to notify them of the continuing issue. I was put on hold for the service rep that handled the issue. When he answered he talked to me as if he did not have the service record right in front of him. Did you buy a new key fob? Maybe you didnt program ir correctly. Ummm...maybe YOU didnt program the fob I bought from you. Further, he went through the same conversation that I shared with him the first time and proceeded to tell me exactly what I told him the first visit. This was about 4 days after the first appointment. We brought the car back. Almost the same conversation again. We return and they said there were no errors on the computer etc. This was already known. I was told that they would physically inspect the car. They did not. They also gave us another key fob and key without explanation. The paperwork said they let the car sit for four days and the message was gone when they drove it. Guess what? The error message is back. A new battery (which they obviously put in the fob) only lasts a day or two before the warning. This was known. These Toyota Certified Service professionals need to attend kindergarten and develop listening and reading skills. I do not recommend Fitzgerald under any circumstances. I have been prepared to buy a new RAV-4 Hybrid Limited edition cash. It will not be from Fitzgerald. Refunding me money is pointless unless I am paid for my time waiting for the second repair. I am willing to send an invoice minus the initial service cost. Otherwise, do not bother responding about how you can improve. I have photo documentation of the paperwork and issue (obviously), but if someone reads this and isnt concerned, the pictures are not going to make a difference nor will naming the service rep. Service your car anywhere else. Do it yourself. It will be free and the result will be the same.

I recently bought a 2020 RAV4 TRD from Fitzgerald and wanted to have them install the OEM tow hitch with parts sourced elsewhere.I made an appointment online and scheduled for it to happen the following day. The check in was smooth and simple. The service advisor knew I wouldnt get the car the same day and since I opted for the lifetime buyer program I got a free rental.Its a free rental, so dont expect anything but a compact sedan that I wish were at least the same brand of the vehicle youre turning in. American cars are foreign to me.The quote I got was very high in my opinion. But I didnt argue or try to negotiate. I had done the research on the install process which is a 3-6 hour job with the wire harness installation being the tedious and most time consuming. I understood the expensive install quote and not buying the parts directly from them probably had something to do with it. My assumptions, of course.So I agreed to the install price. I decided to not trust pepboys, although I had made an appointment with them as well, but their reviews in my area are very bad. Even though their website advertises hitch installs at about $100. Maybe if they were to even attempt the wire harness install it would cost another few hundred. But you dont get the assurance that they have the knowledge to work on such a new vehicle.The downside, which had an upside. It took about 2.5 business days. Had I been told i wouldnt see my car for a few days and have to ride around in a basic vehicle, I probably would have been less annoyed. But having to wait an extra few days got me a decent discount on the installation cost. Which my service advisor had no issues debating. And for that, I thank you Donnie. You are a reasonable man!Im a person who values spoken agreements over signing documents with fine print, but that is the world we live in. But Im very content with my experience and hope to share it as a reference.I dont like to leave bad reviews before seeking a solution. Which is why Im glad I got to write this review from a positive and honest perspective.I am extremely happy with my new car and Fitzgerald for providing exceptional customer service in their sales and service deparments. You all are amazing and highly recommended!

Horrible appointment experience. Waited 10 mins in the car while waiting for service attendant to see me, the 3 attendants chilling at the podium chatting away with each other. No big deal parked my car and walked inside and waiting another 15 mins while standing in line infront of 2 mid age heavy stock white males service reps. Both clearly saw me and ignored me while calling other customers. I had to say something first to get there attention, talk about great service guys👍(Pat). He told me talk to the attendants outside first before coming, that would of getting that info the first 2mins instead of wait 15min just to be told that. After speaking with the outdoor attendants. Waiting another 10 mins to speak service rep to get my vehicle sericed luckily did not speak with the 2 rude unprofessional gentlemen because was ignored again by them while they where not even attending a customer. A gentlemen Dewel who was more attentive with professionalism assisted me. If it wasnt for him I would be rating it one star. Not coming back again will not be referring to any my friends and family to this location. Taking my business esle where.BETTER SERVICE TRAINING IS REQUIRED.

We had Fitzgerald Toyota Service Center detail the interior of our 2020 Rav4. While there was some confusion when I made the appointment asking for a full interior/exterior detail, when I arrived I was only scheduled for one. We, unfortunately, had already spilled coffee a few times on multiple seats, and one was a rather large stain from when a coffee cup flipped over from the cupholder onto the passenger seat–we drink a lot of coffee.We were beyond impressed with the amazing job they did and it was only $89.95 (I dont know if this is the same price for all vehicles, or just because it is still under warranty and still a new car). No signs of the stain at all and the interior looks like it did when we drove it off the lot when we first purchased it. Those who are sensitive to smells, beware, because the car, even though the smell is fresh and clean, the scent they use is very overpowering and took a few days to air out.We will definitely be using this service again and are already expecting to take it in for the exterior detail once the snow and salty roads come to pass. We are also going to call in hopes that they will detail our 2014 Kia.

Bought my 2019 yaris at the dealership in germantown.when I was signing paperwork for the sale, the manager came in and give my sale representative a document about a recall being taken care off.my sister questioned him about it but he was very evasive.the mileage was 35000.i bought my car in September 2019.on February 27, 2021,my mileage was 36281 miles and there was absolutelyn no light on.you can tell I barely drive .I just go to work and couple errands and home.on February 27,2021 I took my car at the Toyota in gaithersburg for first maintenance at 9 am. The first think the guy told me when he entered my Vin was that there was a recall on my car, then he said it is not mentioned that your car has been inspected.tgey took my car for an oil change, tires and brakes inspection.took them 3 hours to return my car.at 12pm I was leaving the place my tire pressure on went on.i returned there and about 30 minutes later they gave me Back my car .I went home .the next day February 28,2021,on my way to work the tire pressure went on again.i am super passed and upset.you will think the dealership will do a better job than the rest of those places.I dont know what is wrong with my tires but whatever happen to them happen at the dealership. If they think am going to let it go then they do not know me.if you are going to charge an arm and legs for services you better make sure that your employee are doing at least a pretty damn good job. I literally bought this car and I didnt have no issues up until those people touch it I wont let it pass.when I get off from work today I will go to germantown place and will go to the gaithersburg service place on Monday after work

Yesterday was the second issue I had with Fitzgerald Toyotas service center. The first issue happened on 11/23 when I took my car in for the 5k service. I started driving and decided to check my tire pressure, and all 4 TIRES had 53 psi, but it should be 35psi. I took the car back, and the tire issue was corrected, but that should not have happened. Yesterday I took my car into the service area for a 4:15 appointment to get my tire repaired or replaced. The service advisor told me it was too late, and his guys were leaving in 20 minutes. I asked him why I could make an appointment if they could not check my vehicle and look at my tire. The advisor told me to return tomorrow before 2 pm to have the tire fixed. I am upset because if they couldn’t accommodate my request, someone could have called me before my arrival.In September, I moved to Rockville and thought it would be a good idea to visit Fitzgerald for my service needs, but the last two visits were not ideal. I am going to return to Antwerpen Toyota in Clarksville for my service needs unless an emergency arises outside of my control

I have gone to Fitzgerald Toyota Service center for many years now for my Toyota Camry. The service there is always excellent. I dont mind waiting for my car. The waiting area is clean, has outlets for my computer, and wifi if needed. My service manager Patrick Nugent is always friendly and helpful. He always has a smile and we often talk about life while he is setting my car up for service. He is an honest and friendly person and just wants to help. He lets me know if my car is due for something I wasnt aware of and helps me with any additional needs I have for the car. I will continue to go to Fitzgerald Toyota and continue to see Pat. Thanks Pat for a great experience every time!

Ive been a customer of Fitzgerald Toyota Service Center for many years, and still love bringing my car there whenever its time for a check-up. The technicians and service advisors are knowledgeable and professional. Whenever I have an issue with my vehicle, I call Pat Nugent, and he tells me how it is. Then he does his best to make sure we get the best price on repairs and that I understand whats being done, and he makes sure the wait is as comfortable as possible.

Terrible customer service, made me feel like all the issues with my car were my fault and are not friendly at all. Called 4 times within 3 hours and got the hes on his lunch break excuse every time.. who is on their lunch break for 3 hours??? Tried to be optimistic about this place but I will not be taking my car back again. Anyone that has issues with their Rav 4 battery dying DO NOT take your car to this location.. they wont fix it and wont even try to find a solution. (Also they left my car window cracked while it was raining and then called me asking why the seat was wet when the car had been dropped off over 12 hours earlier with all windows up....terrible)

I got the Mazda CX5 used suv. With in 15 days and 1250 miles warranty. I went to check the rear brakes because was making noise and rotter and break pad bad condition. They just cleaned and gave me. They could have done change Rotter and pad not the big cost for them .maybe $250 just parts, labor is just customers satisfaction.Only they did cleaned. They said new.I dont want to asking them again .I never buy a car from them and advice to others dont go for used car that place

All employees and all customers had face masks in this service center during my staying for 4 hours.However, it was not enough for safety. Lots of people must touch and hold the entrance door-bar, so it should be cleaned frequently. In addition, need to locate hand sanitizers inside and outside next the door, then people should be more secure safely when they come in and leave.They sprayed inside car roughly before returning the car to customer. I watched it, but l don’t think it is effective. Next time, I will bring my own rugs and scrub the surface near front seats.Updated on 11/10/2020Recently I visited here again. They placed hand-sanitizers on proper locations. People can easily clean their hands and protect themselves. Its much better than earlier.

I had a leak in my truck that was leaking out fluids but it was a small leak and very hard to find. As always, Pat Nugent at Fitzgerald provided stellar service and made sure that the mechanics took their time and identified the problem and fixed it. I bought the 2019 Toyota RAV4 hybrid last year and there’s been an issue with the gas tank where I can’t fill more than 10 gallons at a time. I’ve bought my car for the Toyota Care service a few times and to investigate the gas tank issue a few times as well and have been taken care of each time by the advisor Gerges Morkos. Each time he’s been wonderful and last September, he promised me that as soon as he heard of a fix for the gas tank issue, he would call me. I didn’t really think that would happen because he takes care of so many people and figured he’d forget but a few days ago, he called me saying there was a fix! I was honestly shocked that he remembered about me over a year later. I’m so incredibly impressed by his service. He really went above and beyond, and I’m happy I can hopefully soon finally fill up my dang gas tank!

I drive a Toyota Camry. I took it to this repair center and my car was worked on by Mr. James Fitch, probably Jim. This guy is a miracle worker. He was able to figure out the issue by my description and then went above and beyond in the repair, informing me of the best ways to take care of my car. It runs great, starts every time, which it was not doing. I love this guy.

This place isnt cheap but they do have a very nice service center with a couple of waiting rooms, one with TV and one without. Also they have free coffee and free snacks plus vending machines if you want a soda. They will give you a loaner car if you prefer not to wait.

I always feel at ease when I need to bring my car in for service here, and the way I am treated at this Fitzgerald service center is outstanding. The customer service from all support staff is great and my service advisor is the best! Dewel Joaquin is always incredibly helpful and honest with me about what my car needs. He answers all my questions thoroughly and helps me understand things I am unsure about and is very prompt with getting back to me. He is such a pleasure to work with and I know my car is safe when I leave it with him! Service rep was not in the mood. I probably came at wrong time. My bad.I came as my Highlander auto lift gate didnt work. After 3 hours of waiting, the rep finally said it was the struts and it will cost around $500 to fix. I declined. I paid for troubleshooting for about $149.Took it to local mechanic and they found out it only works when car is running. They cant figure out what the root problem was so they didnt charge me. It has been working since as long as car is running.I felt scammed. But maybe its because I came at the wrong time. My bad. I learned my lesson. Thanks for valuable lesson.Edit 11/5 - talked to the manager. The way he explained it sounded like a common issue so I wasnt sure why it took hours to analyze it. And I came with appointment.
