This location is awful! Incredibly rude staff. They were giving me a hard time about an order that I wanted to return (it was brand new and had only been purchased online a week ago). I couldnt find the packing slip, but I had the order confirmation email so I thought that would be fine, but they were acting as though they couldnt just use the confirmation email to look up my order, making the whole process take longer than necessary. They finally gave me back my refund after asking me a million different questions - this is usually never an issue at most businesses! Needless to say, I will definitely not be shopping here again!

Highly recommend this Michael’s. I go here fairly often mainly for the framing. They are more than accommodating. Every time I go in thinking I know what I want, they always make it better. I usually deal with Kirsten and Lilly- both are amazing. They all are great. Emmie helped me with some awesome ideas for an old picture. I will never go anywhere else to get my custom framing done. Oh, and their pricing is very very reasonable with the quality of work that they do. Highly recommend

Tried to get one of the Michael’s employees to help me understand my receipt because they ran out of receipt paper, and told me my receipt would be emailed to me… It didn’t come through my email so I went back inside to ask for assistance to make sure my other coupon went through. The blonde manager with glasses was very short, very unhelpful and sounded like she hated her life, still couldn’t explain to me if the 25% additional coupon had worked on my item because all she could tell me is that I would have to return and repurchase all the items - finally gave up with trying to understand and figured she must need the extra 12$ more than me. Either way I would have appreciated a little bit more patience instead of the shortness….. sheesh. The Michaels in Germantown is Definitely a lot nicer in terms of store AND staff ❤️

Love the shopping center it is located in. The landscaping is top notch.

Wish I could give them zero stars. I specifically put in a an extension to hold items I paid for pick up online. The extension was until Monday close of business. An extremely bright employee put the items back and canceled the order. I was told that they don’t collect money unless it is picked up. False information I showed the employee the money had already been collected. Customer service at the 800 number is completely useless.

I forgot my phone and therefore they wouldnt let me use the 20% coupon or pull up my account by phone number or email. Why do they take all that info if theyre not gonna use it to help the consumer? Oh yah, they harvest and sell our data for selfish purposes.

Employees were very friendly and helpful with any and all questions. They helped me with ideas and opinions as well which I was very thankful for because I was experimenting with an arts & craft project that they helped out with ideas and suggestions that definitely pulled the project together and made it better when I was finished. The store was very neat and clean as well which was awesome!!

The staff are always friendly and helpful. It boggles my mind how with every little thing that store sells, they seem to know where everythings located. :-) this is my favorite Michaels location: I find it to be less busy than others in the area, therefore more enjoyable.

Can never find associates on the floor to help. They are clearly always understaffed. Basically just have a person there to work the register.

This is a great location. Staff has reasonable knowledge but always seem “bothered” when it comes to helping their customers. I am not sure exactly why.

The fabric counter is always well staffed and shelves stocked and orderly.

Has a good amount of variety of art materials and decor items. And their sales time prices are very good. However, the downside is the service. I am not talking about the staff in store, they are really helpful. But the coupons received over email never work. Really disappointed with this. I infact had gotten a call from Michaels and they explained me the offer, they had emailed me. But when I went in to the store for using it, I was told I cant use that (staff in store were nice and understood my issue. but they couldnt actually help me use the coupon)

5 star experience. Went for frames and Christmas decorations and the staff was beyond helpful. Very impressed. Store was clean, nothing out of place.

Nice sized Michaels with tons of art supplies. I suggest downloading the app so you always have their coupons on hand. My only complaint is that when they run out of something it takes forever to get it back in stock and many of the employees dont know anything about the store they work in.

If youre into arts and crafts, you can find almost everything here. From painting & wood supplies to project kits to jewelry making, silk flowers & ribbons to cake making supplies, etc etc, your hobby is covered.Plus they offer a large variety of different classes for beginners to the advanced students.And youll find decorations for all occasions and seasons.They also have a professional framing dept that does a great job. It isnt cheap, but their prices are still better than most places and fast.Make sure to take 1 of their plentiful coupons with you or shop during 1 of their many On Sale days.The store is large, well organized and brightly lit, so matching colors or finding what you need is pretty easy.A definite first stop for starter supplies when trying a new hobby. Youll save a LOT of money and time figuring out if your new hobby is a keeper.And please make sure to ask about their easy return policies before buying. Like every good store their return policies are great but they do have exceptions.

They pretty much have everything you need for your crafting hunger, but I would do research online to make sure they have what you need and when you go in, ask an associate where to find them so you can go in and get out with your things, unless of course youd like to spend an hour or so at the store. Staff is very friendly and helpful.BTW... they do not have greeting cards 😅😅

Went for acrylic paint and they had low stock over multiple visits, but employees were friendly and I was able to find what I needed, or where it was, pretty quickly.

10 people on the line and just 1 cashier. I wait 30 min to pay.

Very organized

Ordered online and received notice that my order was ready for pick up same day. I elected to go the next day. I parallel parked in front of the store, called the phone number in the email confirming my order was email, told them my order information, and then it was brought out to my car for curbside pick up. Only negative was that all the parallel parking spots were full when I arrived. After making a loop in the parking lot, I saw someone getting out of their car and became one of those annoying people to block the street while waiting for the person to pull out. It would be great if Michaels reserved a few of those spaces for curb side pick up but Im sure thatd be annoying for those going into the store (its a no win).

This is a nice store. The aisles are organized and well stocked. I always find interesting items while wandering around. There are usually good sales on photo frames, so its worth checking out that area.

Kept organized and tidy. Aisles are wide enough so it is easy to maneuver through. Only downside is that its busy on the weekends so parking can be scarce.

What can you say - just about any supply you could want for dozens of crafts. Shopping on the internet is nice, but sometimes there is no substitute for actually seeing what you are buying, and craft supplies are one of those times.This Michaels has an excellent framing department worth extra mention; Ive had them frame up several old pictures and posters and the results are beautiful.

This store has everything a person needs for their crafts. The people there are really helpful and full of ideas. Give yourself time to check out all of their isles.

Generally clean. Lots of seasonal goods. But to make room for the seasonal products, this location tends to redesign their interior layout and the placement of their regular crafting products. Doing so makes finding the same products difficult to find.

Once a staple Michaels has high prices for a corporation. Id rather pay the same or less at small businesses.

This is a nice Michaels, with a good selection. The lighting was a little dark. They had a great selection for cake decorating.

Great place to go to if you are looking for art materials or projects. The problem is that I cant find some of the stuff I find in the store online. Plus, the prices are a bit high, but Michaels has lots of big coupons like 40% ~ 60% Off for single full price items or total items.

Staff member was on her way across the store and a customer asked for help and she gladly stopped and helped her find what she needed. Once she was done I asked if I could ask a quick question about which glue was appropriate to use. This lady gets on her microphone and said “hey you’re going to have to wait, I keep getting stopped by customers” with a big attitude. OKAYY Not how I would define customer service. Nice try though.

Michaels is a neat Craft Store located in Kentlands MD. It is bright and spacious. It carries jewelry supplies, painting supplies, silk flowers and other craft items. Classes are offered on a regular basis. They also do custom framing.
