Ive been coming here for 26 years! Great place!
Just one word: AMAZING! I bought one fender footswitch and was very nice.
Friendly staff not pushy and willing to bargain. I would definitely buy here again. Also their repair prices are really reasonable.
Larry Daniels has always had exactly what I needed, great knowlege and fair prices
Good deals and everyone helpful, great musical I nowledge and advice
Great selection, awesome prices! Best thing here is customer service!
Shady business! Sold me a used mandolin that is damaged and had the pick guard removed, didnt say anything, hoping I wouldnt notice, which I didnt (wasnt very familiar with mandolins & they knew this). There are holes in the instrument where the guard was removed. I think they even sold me a different one than the one they advertised online, for some reason. Wouldnt answer my emails. Horrible people!
These guys do quality repair work on guitars.
Had strings that were defective, switched them out without problem.
They always have the strings I like and have a nice new acoustic instrument for me to pick on
Twas most righteously groovy. Ive know mr daniels and his staff for years. Though primarily a luthier, mr daniel at any given time will have on floor keyboards, drums, PA systems, Photon Torpedos, type 2 Phasers etc. ie instruments used as trade ins for his very nice variety of electric, acoustic, and bass guitars with the odd fiddle or mandolin making the occasional. If desired and given a bit of a head start him and his can locate pretty much an sort of music related item. They also do repairs on amplifiers guitars and other electronics including lessons on all the instruments they sell. This aint off brand stuff either folks some of the more snootier, well known musician shop here.Dont for get to check out their selection of guitar and bass amps including accessories
If you want to learn to play guitar in great atmosphere this is the place
I absolutely loved it whould totally go back bought to packs of strings for very cheap had varieties of everything👍👍👍
Knowledgeable and friendly staff, full line of replacement parts, & a calm atmosphere.
Lancaster music is infinitely time better and also bad service. One time I asked for a thing that they sell on their store that I saw a week ago and they said that they never had that in there store
We love frequenting Larrys!!! Eddie and Larry are both so helpful and knowledgeable! Thankful for this shop on our area!
This is one of the best music stores in the planet.Larry and his guys will go out of there way to help you no matter how small your purchaseI have bought strings and slides here and been treated just as good as someone buying the best guitar in the store. If you play an instrument, plan to play an instrument or just like being around really good people, Larry Daniels Music is the place to be.
Great staff food prices family friendly whats not to love
I broke a bass tuner key, I was in a bind. I called them. They had me send a photo of the broken one and had a used one that matched perfectly for $10. Very Happy.
We stopped in here while traveling and they had just what I was looking for! The owner was there and pleasant to talk to and also gave me a good deal on a nice used instrument! I will be back next time I’m around!
We love Larry Daniels. It has a very cool community vibe, lots of musicians coming and going. Larry provides excellent lessons to even very young students! Eddie is always friendly and helpful. Cant be beat

Great music store! My son loves taking lessons from Larry! Would highly recommend to anyone anywhere.
Larry has been in the music business as a pro musician and teacher for longer than anyone. He is incredibly knowledgeable and gives you the bottom line when it comes to your needs with music equipment. Hes such a genuine person that you can trust. Be careful...once you start going to Larry Daniels Music...youll always want to go back to see what is going on...a great group of musicians hang out there all the time. Theyll never steer you wrong...
Stopped in here while traveling and ended up buying a mountain dulcimer. Prices were fair and the owner was very nice. Highly recommend!
They always have what I need and their prices are super great!
Great place for guitars
There is a reason this is the only music store of its kind in this area that survived the recession. Larry and his staff are always wonderful. Very helpful and knowledgeable. Looking to get your kid a starter guitar? Go to Larry! Looking to get your kid lessons on said guitar? Go to Larry! Pro needing a fret job? Go to Larry! Its almost like a one stop shop. Buy, sell, trade, fret jobs, set ups, custom builds, maintenance, etc. And these guys wont rip you off on your trade ins like big brother GC down the freeway. There is always bound to be the item of the century lurking in Larrys shop depending on what youre looking for. Im a bass player and Ive seen some pretty sharp ones roll through here over the years, some of which Ive taken home with me. No complaints whatsoever.
Great music store! Wide selection of instruments for such a little place, and friendly staff. Glad I stopped by.
Been in here to buy strings, picks, and capos, never made a real big purchase here but the guys are always a really great help. I brought my grandads old guitar up to the store a couple of weeks ago and one of the guys there took time to help me get a value on it for insurance purposes without pressing me to buy anything, service you wont find at a guitar center or other big brand music store. Always a great experience here.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Good prices and selection of instruments.
Took a guitar here to get EMG pickups installed. I had the work done but the pickup wiring would not fit under the pick guard. I took it in and said, This needs routed for a 9 volt, please dont touch the action. I got it back with the EMGs installed poorly with all of the wire crammed under the guard, the tech, Walter, CUT OFF my solderless connections, used an improper passive tone pot, and soldered things in place thus ruining the modular nature of the solderless connections. When I plugged the guitar in back home I was getting serious hum with overdrive pedals. Also, the tone pot, as expected, really just did nothing until about the last mm of turn radius then it killed all the treble at once. ALSO, the tremelo and action had been adjusted HIGHER than when I brought it in. Sigh. Anyhow, I took it back and the kept it for a month. I called and they said, Oh yeah Walter said theres nothing wrong with this guitar. When I returned the guitar to them I asked that Walter not touch it and to please use a different tech. So today Ive made my third trip down there (its an hour one way) to pick up the guitar and they said theyd get it running right for me so its still there. Ive ASKED for my money back and to take the guitar with me and they said the best they can do is take another look at it. Its been there for a month and a half altogether.Today I went and picked up the guitar. It still hums. He told me the amp is making the guitar hum which is of course impossible. So I plugged it into another amp and it hummed. He said, EMGs just do that sometimes. So I spent 60.00 for them to break my guitar, they would not refund my money, then charged me ANOTHER 30 bucks to pick it up today, ignoring the fact that they already have 60.00 from me for a faulty pickup install. I will NEVER go here again and my local buddies wont, either. Shouldve just given me a refund or simply not charged me today. FINALLY, after plugging the guitar in back at home Ive figured this out. Somehow they wired it so ALL pickups would tap with the coil tap/my single coil tones are thin compared to my other EMG loaded strat. Position 1 sounds like the middle position on a tele and sounds NOTHING like a neck single coil, position two is dark/mud, positions 3 and 4 are the SAME TONE with absolutely no change whatsoever, and position 5 is the only one that works right. They assured me it was wired right and insisted on charging me as a result. The only position functioning properly is the bridge pickup.
