This is a wonderful place to get many pantry staples! Especially if you enjoy dried lentils, beans, spices. The selection is fantastic and the prices are very fair. I am so glad I found this store. If you are new to the city and are vegetarian or adore Indian food-this is the place you need to get to! I have found most of the staff members very helpful and friendly. *The lanes are not wide (I mention for those who need to be more mindful because of health). It isnt likely busy in the early hours but one could call ahead.

Its a lovely store. Theres a wide range of groceries, both fresh and frozen. Theres plenty of space between the aisles. The young lady at the cash counter is friendly & quick. I was able to buy some types of tea that I dont normally find in Low Angeles (where I live). I will definitely visit this place again, next time I am in Gainesville.

Came in looking for fresh pitas, instead I got pointed to frozen pitas and found a moldy package at the front of the freezer. I left without buying anything and I doubt Ill be back soon. The people were nice about it and they have the best variety of rice but if I cant trust the products theres plenty of other places.

This little grocery is AWESOME! So many spices and new flavors to choose from! I find something new every single time Im in there and always look forward to going back! Although this is the only India groceries shops in Gainesville, prices are pretty decent. I get all my veggies and spices from here. Its a good place to explore the various spices from India. They also have a wide verity of Turkish savories and frozen India dishes.

Must place to visit for Indian groceries. You find all the Indian items here . Prices are also reasonable. You can go to Walmart etc but here you only get things which are frequently used by Indians . Staff is very helpful and they maintained clean and neat.

This is the best Indian store I have ever been. Most importantly its neat, clean and organized with great customer service which is more than you can expect to get in any Indian store. They have good collection of different Indian brands along with other top Asian food brand. Always willing to answer customers to get the right stuff and is ready to order items upon the request .If you pay for quality go for it.

They keep most of the south east Asian spices. Also has variety of ethenic frozen ready to eat food. Would be better if the prices were bit cheaper and reasonable.

I can find everything I need there for serious Indian cooking, and at a reasonable price. Clean, and the staff is very helpful, The young man who appears to be the manager is an absolute treasure, kind, well spoken, and eager to assist in whatever way possible, and quite funny. Has lots of ethnic food and groceries. From Indian, to other Asian, Turkish, Lebanese and other middle Eastern food. Theres a restaurant nearby thats also nice with buffet sometimes. Prices are very reasonable. We go there when were in the area (Archer bear Butler plaza) and dont want to drive to Zeezenia (about 10mins away). Has spices & items that one cant simply find in regular supermarkets like Publix. Close by is whole foods & trader Joes too.

Their products are over priced and then you have to pay in cash unless you buy for $10 or more.So be prepared to have bunch of cash on you if you want to come here.They are trying to save on card fees

Very bad customer service, feels like getting favor from the shop!I used to go this grocery store every weekend. Lack of customer service, they feel like they are doing some favour while giving customer service. My recent incidence, i purchase a product which was bad, so i mentioned to counter, they gave me refund back. but now next time when i purchase the same item they asked me to open in front of then. what kind of behaviour is this? I asked you can take the refund back, its not favor. Very poor customer service.

I would give zero stars if possible. I walked into this establishment with a friend of mine from India. The entire time in the store I was stared down by employees, who couldnt make it more obvious that they were watching me. As my friend was checking out, a male employee was continuously glaring at my pockets trying to decipher what the bulges in my pockets were (keys). It made me feel extremely uncomfortable. There was nothing suspicious regarding what I was doing, I followed my friend to the incense isle, waited for him to pick out an incense, he purchased it and we left. This was the first time in my entire life that anything like this has ever happened to me.Message to owner: Try to make employees a little less OBVIOUSLY discriminatory against those that arent Indian, which was the clear case in this example.

You get everything from in India but the problem of India bazaar is that everything is really expensive here and its better to buy stuff from Walmart than India bazaar. India bazaar can be used only for things like chapatis, pickles, etc that are only Indian

You get all the Indian pulses at reasonable rates usually. You get frozen Indian breads (rotis) and paranthas. Paneer, sweets and readymade food are expensive. Raw vegetables are expensive. You get all other spices, masala, Maggi, Amul butter at reasonable prices also.
