I visited this store yesterday and was impressed by the quality and selection at this location. One item I purchased was just not up to their standards and could possibly cost the consumer (me) a visit to the Vet, which could be more costly. This item just didnt make the cut but other items purchased were outstanding!

Alot of good things but seem to be short on staff.

Love Atwoods. They always have great deals on the home and ranch stuff you need and they have not over-inflated their ammo prices like other stores have.

It was okay, has a little more variety of guns than the one by my house. Needs more variety of chickens.

Overall it is a good store but the young ladies that they have working upfront at the cash register need to be train far better in people interaction because one young lady was very rude and didn’t put nothing in plastic bags and look tell me if I was doing something so horrible in going to her side to get checked out it sad but I’ll be going to tractor supply next time sadly.

Atwoods always has a great variety. What can I say? I love to walk the isles and see what they have. Something for everyone.

Very disorganized operation. Head checkout person had to answer and direct all in coming calls while still supervising all sales .Workers were all polite, but not efficient.

Yesterday I had a young man named matthew load up one of those carts out front. He was very helpful! Though the bathrooms are very dirty and I have had a bad experiences with management it is an overall good store!

This is by far the best farm store around. Prices low. Quality and selection is great. The staff has always been helpful and courteous. I have been buying their real ranch “store brand” men’s jeans for a few years now they are $9 and they out last much higher price jeans. The only negative is I always find way more things to buy then I went in for. Thank you Atwood’s for providing such a great store.

Love this store. They sell boots, bee keeping equipment, live chicks & goslings, and loads of other items. The staff is always friendly. Sometimes you might have to go hunt someone down, but theyre very helpful.

VERY poor service, price charged at register was $10.00 more than the price listed on the shelf. Woman that rang me up at the register was very blunt saying no, its $69.99 not $59.99. Didnt try and change it didnt even bother to check the shelf to see if the price was different. Didnt even bother to inform a manager. Bought feed there for over a year, guess Tractor Supply has our business from now on.

Better that Home Depot, more merchandise. Nice place to shop with good prices.!!!

Online information is the worst. Three times said they had in stock and wasted my time going there. Even the help said it was bad. Good way to loose business all together.

Fast and easy site

I went in looking for a hoof pick and couldnt find any. Luckily I found a sales guy named Randy, who helped me find a Case knife/hoof pick combo. A perfect find that i never would have gotten to by myself, and probably would have left the store immediately if he hadnt helped. Very happy with the new tool.

Drove 40 miles specifically to buy a set of earring for a friend and when asked what happen to the jewelry case a heavier set girl told us she was redoing it ! We told her we were there last week and know exactly what we want and asked if we could still buy them she told us NO its not ready come back tomorrow!!! She was extremely rude and we will never be back!!! Totally disgusted!!!!!!!

Very mismanaged store. Multiple times over multiple years walking up to register you have 10-15 min wait to check out( try self checkout like tractor supply). Deer products disappear in spring when they are needed the most. Reappear so late in the fall that it’s to late to be useful. New store in Ardmore much better. Have that manager come help Gainesville.

Could not get help for the animal meds that were locked up.

I love going to Atwoods, but this particular visit they didnt have what I needed, it happens, still a great place to shop.

I called to get cattle cube .. they told me i will get each bag $8.50 if I buy pallets. I told them to hold two pallets for me. I rented a trailer, drove 100 miles, when i got there the manager James said they dont do bulk pricing. I called three times before I drove all the way up there to make sure that was the right price and they had two pallets for me!They said it was miscommunication! They wasted my time and my money! They did not honor what they said. Very frustrating and they didn’t even care!

I love this place! They have everything I could possibly want for my hunting/ ranching needs.

Often out of stock on items we need, but plenty of stock on high priced, cheaply made home items. More than half of their store is dedicated to clothes and home decor/home ware items. Check out is often slow and employees do anything but go out of their way to be helpful. Its a ranch store but theyve been out of 1/2 connectors for pipe and cable fences for more than a month. Only go when we absolutely have to and get in and out as quickly as possible as the store is always uncomfortably hot. Today they were selling a 10 pack of paper face masks for $34.95. If they cant do better than that, they shouldnt bother to sell them.

The cashiers and workers are very nice and love the store.

If I could give this store 0 stars I would. I have shopped here multiple times. The last several times they do not have the same items they have carried in the past. They have terrible employees (if you can find one) who are useless for know8of their inventory or otherwise. Last 2 times I have left my cart and walked out. I will NEVER be back.

Kind of disappointed as several employees passed by and seeing me struggle to load up four cases of water and no one stepped up to assist me. Being a senior is hard but we would appreciate a little help when you see us struggling with the merchandise.

First time there. Little bit of everything.

Atwoods is my go to place. I buy my dog food there, its their brand. I, also, enjoy looking at the baby ducks, chickens, and what ever baby birds they have on hand. They have amazing discounts on blue jeans, and boots! Family oriented associates! Always helpful, and proud to have their jobs, and you as a customer!

I understand that they are renovating, but at least make the attempt to make it easy for shoppers. My husband is disabled so needed a cart. I finally found one(no way he could have gotten to it)and brought it to him. It was close to dead so had to shop quick. Not easy to do with all the stuff in the way. Might be better once renovating is done.

They have lots of great things at good prices. We buy coffee and candy and gift items.

Wife and I love this store we visit her sister and brother in-law so we have to stop in Atwoods when we come to Texas from Missouri.

I love Atwoods and they arent close to my home anymore. Stopped in this one just before closing, wanting to cruise around. Not looking for anything specific but found a glider for a really great price. Excited to check it out.

Great place to just stop in and look around. They now have a gun section. Bought a couple of boxes of ammo for pretty reasonable price. Better than TSC imo...not that it means much.

I guess I have been going to the wrong Atwoods in Gainesville. My experience with them is help is hard to find. Help that knows anything is even harder to find. Why is it so hard to put prices on items? Today I went in, there are five kids that work there, all hanging around the dog food. One dark headed girl has their undivided attention. She is dropping the F bomb in front of customers. Maybe I am old but I dont appreciate this type of behavior.

Id give 5 stars but its kinda hard to get help in the isles. Best part, dog friendly with interesting distractions. This my English setter sniffing the baby chicks. Sniff only! Plus the employees up front live dogs.

My experience at this store was terrible. The cashier was rude and shouldnt have spoken to me that way. I told her that there was a sign that said the item I was purchasing was on sale and she dismissed me. Saying to me thats not on sale, she didnt even check. This mgr., Rathburn should know about this cashier. I was there wednesday july 8th at around 1pm. How do i find the corporate office?

Kind of hard to find help here. The few times I could find someone, the employees had no idea where to find anything. I do like the store and what is in it, so I would give more stars except for the care of the chicks sometimes. I have come in on more than one occasion to see dead chicks in the bin. A couple of years ago, I came in and one of the chicks was being eaten alive by the others because of overcrowding and was bleeding everywhere in distress. I told an employee about it before I left. I thought about it all day and came back that afternoon to see they still left the chick in there and did nothing, and it was almost dead. I bought it and still have this chicken. Actually, I have bought a few chicks from here. I just wish they were better about the husbandry.

My wife has learned that there is certain things you go there for instead of Walmart like the cat litter they have their own brand she said it is awesome also they have a lot of great sales on stuff last year I got a pair of $180 boots for $70 they had pajamas for a dollar a pair and slippers for $2 a pair just depends on whats on clearance

Drove up to Gainesville to check out the store. I was really hoping to take a look at the King Kutter 1.5 Ton Dump Trailer for my tractor, but alas they dont carry it. However, as a big fan of TSC I must say Atwoods could do quite well in the Aubrey area. I was very impressed with the size of the store and selection.

I guess no one works at the gun counter, Ive been in twice to make a purchase and waited 5-10 minutes and no one ever showed. One time there wasnt even anyone at the registers, the nice gal at the customer service desk had to check me out. Maybe they are having trouble getting decent employees, I dont know but it needs some looking into.
