The store was well kept and stocked. The people at the check out on 10/30/21 at 7PM were too busy talking to each other and looking at their phones to help with checking out. So when we were at the self check out the system was blinking and asking us to waiting for quite awhile before either of them were bothered to come over and help. Then they had rude comments about having to help as we were leaving.
Over the years, I have had to come to this store just like most of us. Never has there been a good experience. The staff is rude and inappropriate. The manager specifically is not reasonable nor is he nice to the staff. He does not listen to your complaints and talks over you. Specifically, do not go here to purchase passport photos. They have messed up the quality of the photos and the manager refuses to refund or even acknowledge their mistake.
The Pharmacist Kelly was great. I don’t remember the last time I had Customer Service like that. I am switching locations.
The manager was way too arrogant and refused to service me after I came back wearing a mask even when I was still wearing a face covering. They ignored the statement WRITTEN ON THEIR OWN STORE DOORS and called cops for trespassing. The manager and staff refused to give their names. The corporate office should be aware of the miserable staff working for their name.
Worst CVS in Gainesville. Have nothing against the employees in general, but the manager is extremely rude and unhelpful. Have some self-worth and do not visit this store, especially when there are so many more just a few blocks away.
Just came in to pick up some wine. First off, nobody was at the counter to check me out. So I proceeded to the self scanner. I scan my wine and am immediately greeted by a young man who says he needs to see both me and my roommates ID. I hand him my ID and he doesn’t care he wants to see my roommates ID. She said she has a picture of her ID but she genuinely left it at home because she was driving us to pick up to go dinner just before and didn’t expect us to stop by CVS. I tell the man I can leave and come back in alone to complete my purchase and he tells me “sorry honey I know what you look like and I’m not going to sell to you.” I’m 22 years old, my roommate is 21 and I’ve never been talked to like I’m a child before from a retailer. I told him he lost my business for talking to me like that. He could have nicely told us to come back or approached the situation differently instead of being rude, ESPECIALLY after seeing my Florida issued ID and age. CVS, train your employees to be nice to your customers especially if they aren’t doing anything wrong. How pathetic.
Terrible customer service I just went into this store and a guy with long hair and braids acted all rude, I told him, sorry I annoy you by coming here... I will never go to this location again terrible cvs
I’ve been going here for a few years and it’s always a nice little visit. Smita, Jamal, Danny, and Kelly are always so incredibly welcoming and helpful. It’s not even the closest CVS to my house but it’s worth the journey there to get my scripts filled by efficient/awesome people.
I love the staff here. They are always so nice and very accommodating. I also appreciate that since I have no pharmacy insurance they find me discounts with my meds and I truly truly appreciate that. This is my pharmacy for over 4 years now and even though I live a lil further away I still pick this pharmacy. 👍
Kelly the pharmacy technician went above there should be more people like her in the pharmacy industry she was very understanding of the need of my medication went above and beyond getting approval from my docs office thank you kelly god bless you
The store manager at this location is NOT GOOD. They are not accepting returns that was purchased from their own location while other stores are. Due to COVID-19? And without timeline? That’s a Horrible excuse, they’re just trying to take inventory off the shelf taking advantage of this pandemic. Avoid this location.
I called on the phone to inquire if they had a product in inventory. I had previously called the CVS a mile north of them to see if they did. The CVS north of them did not have it, and said that this particular CVS had five in stock. I called this CVS to confirm and spent 15 minutes on the phone determining if they had it. If the store a mile north of them knew they had it via the computer, I think they should have been able to look it up to determine that versus having somebody to look around the store. Not terrible customer service but laughable because it took so long to find if they stocked it. The CVS a mile north was a lot better with providing me information.
I have never had an issue with cvs. These people that complain that my medicine is not ready in time and just leaves a bad review, need to learn a little.patients and understanding. You have no clue what these pharmacists goes through in a day. Find a hobby and quit complaining for bo reason.
Dishonest and lazy. I was told my prescription refill would be ready in one 1 hour at 1pm.I arrived at 3pm and was notified that the pharmacist didnt have it ready.Clearly the customer is of no importance here.Not my first bad experience at this CVS, but definitely my last.Never coming back.
Biggest CVS Ive ever been in. Great selection of products and competitive prices. The staff is always friendly and very helpful.
I never have a problem here and the people are always nice although I do not like the long lines I dont mind waiting for good customer service.

The treatment of the pharmacy employees is terrible. And they gave me wrong my medication. I find it very strange because the employees of the store have always been very friendly ...(The employee in the pharmacy were rude and give me the wrong medication. That was weird because the employee in the store were always great)
