My experience I have Mercedes-Benz of Gainesville it’s usually pretty decent great customer service for the most part unfortunately this time I ordered the part and was under the impression I was told that bulbs would be included drove all the way from Summerfield And there is no bulbs in the box Could have ordered the same part online for half the price and then delivered to my door the next day but I go to the dealership expecting better quality and it just upsets me that I pay for something that’s not there it would’ve been a different story had they said that the bulbs was not going to be included the first place however they insured me that they would be in the box The person I spoke with in the parts department informed me that sometimes they come with it sometimes they don’t after I drove all the way there thank you that was greatly appreciated
Took my wife in so she could see models of Mercedes and Eric Corley assisted us in finding the right car for her. We werent ready at the time, however, we found the perfect car and after completing a previous financial transaction, we were fortunate enough to make our purchase. I was traveling from Illinois to Fort Myers when unexpectedly I hit a big metal piece with glass on the road that destroyed my tire. I called them as soon as they opened and they were very understanding and could fit me in at 9 with their busy schedule for the day. Had an appointment with Mercedes Benz on June 14, 2021 to check tire pressure and front door lock actuators for my 2008 C300. It cost me $209.72 to check the door locks to find out they both needed to be replaced. Parts $705.12 and labor $1,720.88 total $2,641.68. I did not do the repair, however I did find parts cheaper using the Mercedes Benz website. I also found a Mercedes Benz repair company in Gainesville (Star Import Service) they have been in business since 1984 and ONLY SERVICE MERCEDES BENZ. I had both actuators repaired for $1,214.20 total! $405.00 parts, $809.20 labor. Using OEM PARTS! I checked. I also had other repairs completed that Mercedes Benz recommend at a fraction of the cost. I strongly recommend not using Mercedes Benz for repairs as they gouge you on the cost of parts and labor. They are all nice and you do get a (free) cup of coffee but where the rubber meets the road its savings that count!
I got a smart car with a little bit of factory warranty left on it. Branden was really great helping me with the warranty work and Mercedes of Gainesville gave me free Über rides instead of having to wait at the dealership. Definitely would recommend this place for your smart car or any Mercedes product. Also they are dog friendly here which I think is great.
Service department is disorganized and I was told by Michael Szlachetka who is the service manager that my vehicle, which is a Mercedes could not get be repaired because I did not buy it the vehicle at that specific dealership. General manager should definitely consider who he wants to be the face of his service department. I felt demeaned and disrespected from my experience. Certainly the lack luster training and incompetent people skills should be addressed. Definitely not the quality standard that I am used to from Mercedes. I will certainly be filing a complaint at Mercedes-Benz USA against this dealership.

I had a very good experience buying a Mercedes but at the day I bought my car, I wasn’t able to get my second key. When I tried to get my key couple days later, everything changed. I was told someone from service will call me and schedule a time for me to come back and get the key, but I have been waiting for 2 weeks but no one ever contacted me. So I contacted the sales via email to ask why I didn’t get any key and he said he will ask but again, no one contacted me. So I had to drive 20 minutes to come back and ask the sales face to face. He led me to the service and didn’t find the person who supposed to help me get the key and it seems he left already. And then he put a note in his desk and promised me to sit down and talk to the service person tomorrow morning and will ask him to call me. Not surprised, no one contacted me… so I had to come back the second time on Sunday, and wasn’t able to get my key again. I was told the sales person is not here today nor service. The customer advisor left a note on the sales desk to tell him I stop by and really need the key. I am still not sure when I can get my key. I wasted over 2 hours on just getting the second key. What a fantastic experience here buying a car and picking my second key at Mercedes Benz. If you decide to buy a car here, be prepared of that.
HI, Please keep in mind that August 2021 is the worst time to be a buyer (no supply insanely high prices) and its the worst time to be a dealer (no inventory, global steel and microprocessor shortage), a rare occurrence.I have owned about 6 MBs over the years and have dealt with the most prestigious deals in the country (MB of Manhattan, Rallie of Long Island, etc.). MB of Gainesville is by far and away the best buying experience Ive ever had. The entire crew is polite, very knowledgeable and incredibly respectful of time. My experience with Mercedes Benz of Gainesville was terrible. My car was not ready to purchase. It was being certified pre owner. They delivered the car to my home when it was certified. They delivered a car with a mechanical problem. There is a problem with the steering or suspension. It is very noticeable. If this car was test driven by a service technician he would have noticed the problem. I have received no help in correcting my problem. I’m sorry I did business with them. A lot of promises but no results
My experience since I purchased my car at Mercedes Benz of Gainesville with customer service has been a horrible one. Drake Moore sales rep. Ripped us off with a referral program deal. My car was taken in for service for a the rear window mechanical part wasn’t working. TJ service advisor said the car would be completed on Monday 10/4/21, my husband called and the car wasn’t ready. Today TJ advised that he doesn’t have the part, and was going to call an Uber so that we can pick up a car that hasn’t even worked on. No courtesy vehicle offered. No rental offered. Why I proceeded to call service department manager Michael Szlachetka who initiated the conversation with what is the issue? Didn’t care to find out what was going on and went ahead and started shouting that I didn’t even purchased my vehicle there that I bought the car in Texas? Does it make a difference where I bought the vehicle Mr. Szlachetka? I purchased the vehicle in this dealership less than a year ago. This “Manager” was rude, has no active listening skills, lacked emphaty and has no customer service skills. After explaining to him that we are both at work and due to underline health conditions I couldn’t take an Uber to pick up my car, his response was well I don’t know what to tell you, you will have to Uber like everyone else does? Why did he talk to me like he was doing me a favor I don’t know. If you need a car go somewhere else, this place is horrible, no communication, no organization, and if you are expecting great customer service most definitely this is not the place.
Ive made many car deals in my lifetime and this one was almost stress free. Angela was great! No high pressure tactics, just good business. Im from Lake City and our dealers reek of desperation. Cant wait to take my Mom there so Angela can help her buy something nice.

I wanted to wait a few days before I wrote this email to allow Mercedes Benz of Gainesville to do what I feel was the right thing; that never happened so here goes. I purchased a vehicle from this dealership on Sunday and I coordinated in advance to fly to Gainesville to pick up the vehicle. The dealership volunteered to pick me up from the Airport with documents to sign for the car. After waiting 45 minutes curbside, I realized that no one was coming to pick me up. At that point, I decided to call UBER and they arrived and transported me to the dealership for $12.50. Upon arrival I realized the dealership had not prepared to pick me up or sell me the car. The vehicle required gas and cleaning. After waiting almost 30 minutes I me the finance offer to sign the papers. Outside of the salesman who was extremely helpful, the service provided by the dealership was horrible. My family currently owns a BMW, Porsche and now Mercedes so I have a good idea of what great service looks like for higher end car customers.Do you think that anyone from the higher level of management called to apologize for horrible service? NODo you think anyone volunteered to reimburse me for any of my cost including UBER? NOOn the bright side, I do not live in Gainesville and will never go there for service. Outside of the great looks of the building, my salesman and inventory of cars available, it all goes downhill from there.2 stars is for the salesman.

Service is good, it’s a shame their ‘pick up and drop off’ service is so dysfunctional. If you live in the far end of Gainesville, you’ll be last on their list of pick ups, if your car is picked up at all. Our 2019 C300 was to have gone in for its second recall, but they never showed up. Wish they’d conveyed this to us before the car sat for the day.This is the second (and last) time they’ve failed us in this regard, using the same, recycled excuse of someone being out sick.
Bin and Tom were very helpful, patient, and got me the car that was best for me. Compared to the competition down the road, Mercedes is 10 times more friendly and straight up with pricing! Very friendly, non-aggressive, and patient is how car buying should be and that is exactly the service that I received!

Was in Gainesville Florida and needed a tire or two for my Mercedes Gle43 as I noticed my tires are bald. Called this dealership service at least 4 times and left my info. No call back no anything. Terrible service. Glad my other vehicle is a Lexus. But still disappointed. 1 star is one too many.
Called service with questions about glow plugs and other requirements for my sprinter van. Mike in service told me that I should look for an online forum that discusses my question. I told Mike that I had already researched as much as I knew how to. He did not have time to investigate any of my inquires. Very poor customer service. Very disappointed in Mercedes of Gainesville. I will be going somewhere else from now on
Unfortunately our Sprinter chassis motorhome developed engine trouble on our way south. We pit stopped here om a Friday morning and Jude took care of us. Parts were overnighted, promptly installed and we were back on the road by Saturday afternoon. Enjoyed boondocking among the expensive cars. Thanks!
Bought my 2005 used CLK 500 from this dealer. The salesperson, Drake was very helpful providing a video walk around of the car, given that I was having it delivered to my home in Maryland. However there were a number of issues with the car not mentioned nor uncovered until it’s delivery. The passenger seat cushion was replaced and slightly different than the others. The vent on the back panel of the passenger seat was missing. More importantly the car had in fact been in a front end accident, but unreported on Carfax. However, any technician should have known this and mentioned to sales. As a result of the accident, the front end belly pans and tag bracket were missing.I was told that the car would arrive with FL temp tags, and MD tags would arrive later. Shortly after arrival, I was informed that to file for MD tags would require me to forward a MD safety inspection report. Upon inspection the car failed due to transmission pan leak, failed sway bars, alignment issues, and cracked engine mounts. These safety issues totaled roughly $2,000.Additionally, including the issues I was informed of prior to purchase, other problems discovered were a weakened battery due to corrosion, weakened trunk struts, and finally the left rear regulator for the convertible top broke after 2 uses, and required replacement.The car remained in a shop for 3 weeks awaiting parts and repairs, with a total cost of nearly $7,000. When I discussed my concerns with the GSM and forwarded the billing, I asked only that they consider reimbursement for the safety related issues of $2,000. When presented to the GM, the response back was no reimbursement at all.I believe that I was deceived as to the condition of this car and led to believe it was mechanically sound with MD tags on the way. As a result, I’ve spent considerably more money than I budgeted for.While I’ve never purchased a car online nor out of state prior, I expected better service from a certified MB dealer. This experience cost me more than planned, and as a retiree on fixed income was a bit painful. Their utter disregard for my concerns from a dealer was unacceptable and disappointing.As for this particular dealer I would not recommend them to anyone searching for a used automobile.

Moved to central Florida recently, scheduled, through your website, a service appointment for the first time for Saturday, January the 16th. After driving for 1:20 hours from The Villages to the store, a young man approached me asking the reason of my visit, have an appointment service, I said. A man by the name of Michael Potteiger came out and said to me sir, are you waiting for the vehicle ? No, I requested a loaner was my answer, in a very rude way he responded: I dont know how you got the appointment for today when we dont have any openings, you cannot get your car service till next week, and I wont get you a loaner if you have a dog (showed him my dogs certificate as service dog). I have been a Mercedes Benz customer for the past 8 years, and, never was treated in such a bad and rude way from anyone within the organization. Shame on Gainesville Mercedes Benz for having such kind of employees.

I recently visited Mercedes Benz of Gainesville for an annual maintenance service. As a part of maintenance, they replaced wiper blades. While going back home from the service center, I turned on the wiper with washer fluid and it left multiple scratches on the windshield.Next day I visited the service center and conversed with Mike Potteiger and his Manager. As Mike’s manager told me they just removed the old wiper and replaced with new one, I was sad to know to that after replacing the part service advisor does not ensure if new part is installed properly and it will not damage the car. They blatantly refuse to fix their mistake and tried shifting blame on me.PLEASE DONT TAKE YOUR CAR FOR SERVICING HERE IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR CAR!!!

I met salesman Sheldon the last week of August 2020 told he I wanted a used E350 2010 to 2012 we arrived at fact that I couldn’t purchase the conventional way he then took me on test drive around the lot to tell me that he and a partner have their own business to help those that they feel deserve a Benz but can’t buy the conventional way but that it would take thousands down but I would be guaranteed to get the car of my dreams he had his partner Donald call me and I wired the 4,000 dollars the car ended up being a flooded vehicle when I complained they had the car picked up and refused to give me money back I am on the verge of losing everything as I have no car or way to get to work!!!Shame on him and Mercedes Benz for keeping him employed!!!!
I realize I bought a used Mercedes, but I based my purchase decision on the technical inspection of the service department. They failed to mention the rear suspension was leaking $1400, the paddle shifters were not operable $200 and the navigation system isn’t working $2000. They also gave me the car with only one key. So all I asked for was for an extra key considering all the extra expenses I had to endure since they did not fully disclose all the repairs that needed to be done. The young lady that was handling my registration responded but sales and service just blew me off. Not even an email or call. Very unprofessional, a key cost MB about $200, I waited more than 30 days for a response. It seems MB Gainesville doesn’t care about their reputation, I see many unhappy customers posting their frustration. Here is one more.

I went to Mercedes of Gainesville yesterday to look at used vehicles. I was fortunate to get Sheldon Campbell as my salesman. He took the time to listen to what I was looking for and the price range I was interested in. He spent about two hours showing us different vehicles until I found the one that I wanted. He was awesome as was everyone else that I dealt with at the dealership. I would highly recommend dealing with Sheldon and Mercedes of Gainesville. I know when were ready for our next purchase it will be from them.
I had taken my Winnebago Navion rv Sprinter to MB of Gainesville to resolve a faulty fuel gauge while the vehicle was under warranty. The fuel gauge would never show accurate fuel capacity reading...often showing an empty tank when in fact the tank was 3/4 full. The first time in they replaced the fuel sending unit; however, the problem contined after the replacement. After several visits, each time the technician said their diagnostics computer said no problem exists. They never could fix the problem. The problem persisted over 12000 miles of travel. I had to use my trip meter to gauge when to get fuel.While on a road trip this Fall I called MB of North America venting my frustration and they offered a possible solution...take the vehicle to another MB dealership. After returning from the road trip, I took the vehicle to MB of South Orlando...guess what...they solved the problem on the first visit.After my experiences with MB of Gainesville, I seriously doubt I will ever return there for any maintenance or repairs.

I just got last week my new car from Mercedes-Benz in Gainesville and it was amazing. There are an amazing people. I’m not just happy by buying from them I am also happy from their treating me it was so good. And there is amazing women her name Angela Monroe. She helped me a lot to choose my car and I am really thankful for her and meeting her in Mercedes I really remember her if you want any help. She is so sweet person and you will know when you meet her what I am talking about.
This is really an amazing place! I bought my Fusion here with the help from Bin Xu, and I have never imagined that the process will be smooth like this. He is really a very good man to explain everything I asked and took me to pick the car I like best. Oh, that Fusion is awesome and I love it sooo much!
I had my sunroof serviced for routine maintenance at this dealership less than a year ago and now they want $4261 to replace the entire thing. This estimate is based on what the service rep says “might” be wrong and should replace the entire thing. This is my second and last time going to this dealership. One of the service technicians said they do things that way because they’re the only dealership in town. So what they’re saying is they can charge what they want because they have a monopoly.

Bought 2019 AMG GT53 from them in December 2020 for 120K, All the promises were broken, Service is so bad I would not even give 1 star, Took my car fro the second key and when returned after almost a week had all the grease stains on my expensive wrap I had on my Car, when contacted my sales men Drake, he said he will call me back to get those stains cleaned, Its been 2 days not even a single message, when I texted him he said he has to get back and again no reply, It looks like I did a big mistake buying from this dealer, They do not care for customer service as there is none

My experience with MB of Gainesville began with a phone call I placed inquiring about a vehicle. Monica Pomar answered my call, her customer service was unlike any I had ever experienced. Monica truly cared about my needs, made sure you take care of every question I had, all while making me feel as if I was a long time friend of hers, not a customer shed never met. Monica made sure to find an available sales advisor for me and within minutes I was headed to the dealership to meet with my sales rep. When I arrived, Monica stopped what she was doing to find me so she could introduce herself in person. She greeted me with a hug, an ear to ear smile, and a customized gift bag that shed put together for me. Monica instantly made me feel welcome and at home with how much she genuinely cared about myself and all of the people she interacted with.

We went to this dealership and had the most fun, no riff-raff haggling experience! Professionalism from top-down the entire staff...and folks just happy to see us there; as we were going through process and paperwork. The bottom line pricing is with in the standards of what the value of a vehicle is, therefore not over reaching on their part for the sale. I really recommend this place if youre looking to buy a MB.
I remain very impressed with this dealership. The friendly and casual atmosphere creates a less stressful buying experience. The General Mgr. David is very personable, as is Gary the Sales Mgr. Both are fine gentlemen. My one and only service experience was smooth and comfortable. The customer waiting area is pleasant. I have no complaints.
Dishonest service department, service writer said I needed new brakes and rotors on all 4 wheels on my 2016 S550. At the cost of thousands of dollars.. I didnt believe him based on my many years in the automotive business so I took it to another Mercedes dealer and he check my brakes and rotors and said, they look good, should last another 20,000 miles plus.The Honest Mercedes dealer was Daytona Mercedes. I wont be back to Gainesville, ever.

Eric Corley (Internet Sales Manager) & Julio Perez (Finance Manager) are the two best auto dealers / leaders I’ve ever worked with. For the record I bought a 2021 GLE 350 4MATIC. Eric and I negotiated the final transaction price over cell, Julio and I had a Zoom call (in this COVID time) to select extended warranty and prepaid maintenance plans. Seamless. And then to top it off, Eric delivers the car to my home an hour and a half away from the dealership with the pre-filled out paperwork by Julio. Amazing customer centricity. I never had to step foot into the dealership. (As I already have a GLS, MBs drive great.) World class all around quite frankly. I can’t say enough about these two gentleman. Have a new 2020 CLA 250 and it has been in the shop multiple times. Also, the service department does not communicate very well. Every time the car has been there I have had to call and check on status of car. They always say they are running behind. I should not have to call them, they should call the customer with any updates. Also I have requested to speak to the Service manager and have not heard from him yet.
Angela Monroe was excellent throughout my whole buying experience. She is very much down to earth and listened to what I wanted. I was looking to get myself a new car and went to this dealership for a used car I saw online. I was surprised on the level of service I got! Javier helped me out and guided me by asking me questions that I didn’t even think of asking myself. He pointed me in the right direction when it came to finding the right car for me! We recently had a recall of the airbag on our 2012 Mercedes. The dealership was great in picking up our car from my work and giving us a beautiful loaner while the repairs were completed. But when my Mercedes was returned to me I noticed the next morning while driving to work that the wood trim near the air bag was cracked and broken and it looks like it was glued. I called the service department and no response. I text Alonzo and sent pictures. No response. Text him again days later he stated management would get back to us. This has been going on since March 26th, 2020. I am very surprised that the service tech who repaired the airbag wouldnt let anyone know that the trim got broken during repair and either let us know the cost of replacement or replace it since they broke it. Very disappointing.Mercedes Benz of Gainesville picked up my vehicle and brought me a nice loaner on May 1st. Repair/replacement of the dashboard wood was completed and my vehicle returned May 5th. But my review seemed to be the prompt to get this issue resolved. I appreciate the communication and concern after this review was posted.

My experience with Mercedes started out really bad but one person completely made me love coming to get my Mercedes needs taken care of here and that person is Monica Pomar.
