Couldnt have been happier. I had a boat picked up and trailer from Lake Hartwell to Lake Oconee. The couple that came to pick up the boat were great! Very helpful. And the entire process was smooth, easy and exactly what I needed.

Tyler Poteat was very professional and took really good care of me. I traded trailers and got a brand new one from them and he was a man of his words and gave me what he said he would over the phone. I traveled 2 1/2 hours to Lakeside and would do it again. I highly recommend them for trailer sales and anything else you need for boat are jet ski. Honest reliable people there. I cant say enough about Gary, Eian and all the staff that support them. It is so rare to have the quality of work that they performed on my Supra these days. True professionals. No corners cut. Amazing end product. They did some mechanical and gelcoat repairs. The gelcoat work that Angel did is top notch. The entire bottom of my boat looks as good as it did when new. I purchased a Jetski and trailer from Tyler through a consignment sale. Tyler handled the sale very professionally. I found a hidden problem with the jetski, Tayler quickly responded, had the issue analyzed, and ordered the part then had the part installed. After I got the ski back we found one more issue. I have finally found the marine service on Lake Lanier that takes pride in servering their customers and following up on their work. Recently dropped off some boat cushions with owner Dane Michael. When their source returned the repaired cushions, one deck cushion was missing a part. Dale personally followed up with his vendor to get the missing part returned from his source. Dale even had his employee deliver the missing part to me and place it into my boat at my slip. Unbeliable service! Earlier this spring his mechanics also found and solved a power steering leak in my boat. His mechanics were able to satisfactory fix the leak at my slip without any fluid leaking into my boat or the the water. And would you believe his mechanics actually remove their shoes before entering my carpeted boat! They also questioned me and inspected other items to make sure my boat was being maintained properly. This is the place to take your boat for repairs. Ask for Eian or Jihlo for your mechanics, really conscientious workers.

Beyond any expectation...in a time when good customer service is severely lacking in business, they went far beyond the call of duty. They called the manufacturer (Mercruiser), sent pics, a detailed write up and after several conversations got warranted an out-of-warranty part saving me several thousand dollars! The part was defective and hats off to Mercruiser as well for stepping up...I will always use Dane the owner and Gary the service advisor at Lakeside Marine in taking care of my boat!

We have had our wave runner repaired at this business back in 2017. They were very professional and timely. The repair turned out to be an easy fix thank goodness. I recently called back as I remembered the great experience. I spoke with Dane with a request for supplies. Level of work that this shop did two get my new Commander boat trailer was and is the best level of care anyone could ask for.Loaned me a trailer to use - at no cost - so Ic Ould get my boat taken to a Canb=vas Shop, the canvas shop was way off in the amount of time it would take to installed repair new canvas. So, nobody’s perfect. Lakeside Marina is pretty bad at returning phone calls. It’s happened on several occasions where I’m supposed to get a call back, or they are busy with a customer and never end up calling me back. On the other hand, they are straight-forward, do legit work in my experience, and they’ve been great to deal with in-person. As long as I’m getting a fair shake, then that’s okay in my book. They’ve always seemingly been more accommodating as much as possible than some of the other shops in the business and I travel pretty far to use em!

Boat got detailed (and some other stuff). Looks awesome and my husband is happy! They exceed my expectations every time!

We listed our 2006 Cobalt with Dane and Lakeside and within two weeks had several hits asking about the boat. Dane handled everything with care and attention to detail. From the numerous photos taken of the boat, to the time spent explaining the process of listing and following up with customers, I never worried that I made the wrong choice. The commission rate was fair and the dewinterization service was very reasonably priced. Overall, they are a great organization doing good work in an industry that can sometimes be plagued with misconceptions. Lake side Marine is solid!

As all boaters know repairs are expected with boats. I took my boat in for fiberglass repairs and was treated with respect from the beginning. They took the time to educate me on not only the issues but the solutions as well. Additionally they took the time to go over the whole boat, engines included and pointed out performance issues I had overlooked. Not in an attempt to add cost but to bring it to my attention. They were able to replace my cracked broken reeds for much better quality and performing reeds as well as completely clean and repair my fuel rails for significantly less than other companies I had found. The end result was fantastic. They completed the work in an astonishing 18 days and the performance gains were more than noticeable. Dane and his crew are not your ordinary everyday facility. They go above and beyond to ensure that when your watercraft is back on the water its a stress free experience. Great job guys. Thanks.

I felt it wasnt running as well as it should so I decided to take it in for a tune up. When I arrived Dane walked out to look at my boat and upon hearing I was new to boating took the time to provide me with lots of helpful information about my boat and boats in general. he complimented me on my boat and described in detail what they would be looking for.keeping in mind i dropped the boat off at the beginning of boating season, a very busy time, so there was no expectation of a quick turn around. Imagine my surprise when I received a call it was ready on Thursday, just in time for the weekend!.When I picked the boat up the work done was described in detail and the pricing was fair. The mechanic actually walked me to my boat and helped me hook it up. it was great talking to the man who had performed the work and discovering he had actually drove the boat to make sure it was running right. When I couldnt find my 10 pin to 5 trailer adapter Dane actually gave me the one of his truck.The best part was when I got my boat back on the lake and drove it. it ran so much smoother and with more power that I didnt even know this was how it was supposed to feel! Total rip-off!Didn’t finish completed work on time, lied and never rebuilt carbs... tried to steal my high dollar wheel chocks and replace with broken plastic junk that had been run over.Didn’t even remember compression numbers after paying for testing- just guessed. Probably didn’t even do that either.Stay away from these people, their techs are not even certified marine mechanics.“Jet skis and outboard engines are all the same!” Exact words from these “professionals”.You be the judge.

So glad I found these guys, will be using them for all my electronics needs. They go above and beyond with killer prices! Very happy and highly recommended, you wont be disappointed!

I first called Dane 7 years ago with an issue with my 1999 GSXL Seadoo. Mindful, this ski was 12 years old (now 19 yrs old and just picked up for wear ring replacement!) and MANY shops wouldnt touch it. I was curious in fixing it myself and Dane took his time to talk to me about the issues that could be plaguing me. I have never in my life had someone so genuine in helping me, not focusing on the dollar he would receive, talk to me. His passion of watercraft and helping the community shined that day. Last Saturday I was driving down the road and my boat trailer tire shredded nothing was left but the rim. It was 5:30 and there was Lakeside Marine with a garage door open. I pulled in only to find out they were closed and only there finishing up a job promised to a customer. I have a disability and changing my tire would have been quite difficult. Lucky for me Robby took the time and jacked up my trailer, removed the locking cap, and changed it with my spare. Most people would have just said we are closed. I live about 3 miles further down Browns Bridge rd and all I can say it’s nice to have Lakeside Marine and people like Robby in the neighborhood. He would not accept any money from me either. Took my boat up to lakeside in September. They were supposed to do my 100 hr service. Once I got my boat back my engine was leaking oil. Once they repaired the leak I inspected there work that they supposedly did. My spark plugs were not replaced. My main fuel filter was disgusting and didnt install a new one. For my water /fuel seperator they replaced it with a car quest auto fuel filter. Which caused my fuel injectors to clog from no water fuel separation. Really so unprofessional and a cutting corners company. I am a small business owner also I would never recommend there business to anyone due to poor integrity

I took this in for repair - bike was not getting fuel and running poorly - I described the problem - rather than fix the problem they put new plugs in and a new battery - the bike ran for about 1.5 hours - now it wont start - I pulled the new plugs out and found one of them had a bent tip and near 0 gap (apparently dropped before installing but installed without proper gap) - also I checked the fuel filter - no gas in fuel filter but it was full of crud (apparently nobody even looked at that). They do not know how to diagnose issues with Kawasaki 150s. Their solution - Just bring it back - no thanks - really nice people but terrible mechanics. Try some place else
