The owner and staff at Solo Motorsports never cease to amaze me. The have consistently gone above and beyond to earn my repeat business. I recently received a tune-up along with new brakes and service. I can honestly say that my BMW 3 series drives and handles better than ever. They did a wonderful job! I brought my sprinter van in for a diagnosis and they did it in under an hour, and he even took the time to show me exactly what part of the engine was having problems, and explained it very thoroughly. They were very kind, thorough, and helpful.

Like so many in the Georgia (and probably beyond) biking community, I was so happy when Chris Hippie Birkle re-opened for business as Racing Sport Services in a portion of the Solo Motorsports garage. Chris has been working on my bikes for years and I wouldnt have it any other way. He always does whats in the best interest of both the bike and customer. Bikes leave his care happy, as Chris terms them, because he knows what is necessary to get bikes of all eras to their optimum performance level. He and David are also always good for a story and a laugh. Highly recommend Chris and this shop.

I took my audi Q5 for service and they were very professional with their work and explained before they did anything why this work was required. They lifted the car and showed me what the problem was and what they recommended. Very happy with their service. Coming back to keep my car in good hands

Kenny, David, and the rest of the team has made a repeat customer out of me. Their knowledge and expertise is top notch. After several attempts at other shops, these guys figured out the issue I had with my GL450 suspension. They went out of their way to make sure I had the best experience possible and both Kenny and david kept in touch throughout the process. Upon picking the vehicle up David explained everything and what had to be done In order to handle the situation with my vehicle “In my book, that’s going way beyond customer service”. Ive done business with this company for a few years now at some of their other locations. With my catastrophic engine failure (valve broke off into combustion chamber) I decided to come to this newest location in Gainesville. Im glad I did. David (owner / head tech) is very familiar with my particular car and motor (2001 Audi S4 2.7 twin turbo V6) so I knew I was in good hands. Once I dropped the car off, they had the motor out and all the key parts off of it and organized within 2 days. I ordered a salvage yard motor from out of state. Once that was delivered to them, they had that motor apart and the block and heads were sent to a local machine shop they trust to have new aftermarket pistons, rods installed as well as performance valves and supporting hardware installed in the heads. The machine shop even did a few extra things we didnt ask for that were a nice surprise. Once the built motor and heads were back to the shop, the guys jumped right on the car and worked solid for 2 days and I was present when they first turned it over and it fired right up the first try. After working out a few small glitches (that are expected when this major of a job is done including a true full engine build) were worked out over a day or so, the car was delivered back to me. After driving it away for the first time, I noticed the car ran MUCH smoother than it ever did. Even though I drive almost 2 hours one way to do business with these guys, its worth it. Trusting a shop to know what they are doing and trusting them not to take advantage of you means everything to me as a customer. If thats the case with you, have no fear doing business with these folks. Youll not be disappointed. If you are... well... youre probably just one of those people that can never be made happy. Theyre out there... you know who you are. :-)

I have been taking my 2014 Porsche to the dealer for routine maintenance. Now that it is out of warrantee, I wanted to find someone closer. I had no difficulty getting an appointment. The work was done quickly and cost less than half the cost at the dealer.

Nice and knowledgeable guys at Solo- They have the newest equipment for tire balance and alignments and can also upgrade the performance of your German auto. They have a waiting area and bathroom. My Audi drives great!

I brought my 2013 s4 in for a noise up front and for a stage 2 tune if it didnt break the bank. They were able to come in below their estimate and get the car tuned while I waited! I was so surprised that a shop would have the honesty to actually decrease what I was already expecting to pay. Not to mention the car rips! Thanks again and cannot wait to get some goodies installed!

While I was skeptical at first due to the luxury automobiles in the lot and out front, I didn’t think that I would be able to afford the service. However, I was surprised that I was not put on the back burner, they treated me just as though I had brought in a high-cost auto and took the time to explain the problem in detail. My auto was in and out with a price that any man, woman or child-driver could pocket. These guys are fast, friendly and professional, all the traits that a customer would hope that their mechanic would possess when in need. I highly recommend them!

Great honest repair shop. They always get the work completed and at the price quoted. Kenneth went way above and beyond locating a lug nut adapter to install new tires. My son had lost his but he searched all over town. We will always use then and recommend them to everyone I know.

I found Solo Motorsports while searching for a new mechanic shop to service my BMW Z4. I’ve had bad experiences previously with shops not being knowledgeable with German cars and messing things up on my vehicle. I was pleased to find Solo and decided to give them a try. I recently took my Audi in for a repair. It was fixed and back on the road very quickly! Awesome guys, David the shop foreman is a wizard and will get you taken care of.

I am accustomed to stellar service and excitement about the product. My latest visit has demonstrated that Solomotorsports is still TOPDOG across the board. Chris listened to where I was at with the car, took notes, and was optimistic about a forthcoming solution. They got me in and out quick with a little bit of knowledge added about my car. Oh I traveled from the Southside because of their hard earned well deserved CRED.

I have went to several different places about braking issues just to be told deal with it. I stopped in here was immediately greeted and had my car looked at. They listened to my concerns and gave me options that no one else did. I left my car and was able to get it back very next day with all my concerns taken care of. Quality craftsmanship without the arm and & a leg cost!

I called Solo Motorsports to get a quote for an exhaust installation on my Volkswagen GTI. Chris has me set up with an appointment the following morning and told me I would be the first car up on the list. David, the owner and Master Technician, is super knowledgeable and has been around these cars for a long time. As an out-of-towner, going with a shop as reputable as Solo is a given, but I would trust them 100% with all of my cars and wish that I had a shop like this to get work done on my car. These guys are legit as it gets.

Where do I start? David & Chris were fighting some issues with my 2013 VW GTI. It seemed like everything they tried was not going to cure the oil leaks. Their dedication and determination resulted in a complete fix. I was starting to feel bad about the time David put into my car, but he was not going to be beat. He is one of the most resourceful mechanics I have ever had the pleasure to work with. I would have paid three times the amount at a main VW dealer. These guys do the right thing, and are very fair. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. I shall return for all my vehicle needs, and will get my European Car Owner friends to do the same. You will not be disappointed.
