Worst dealership service department Ive ever had in 30+ years. My wife and I bought a 2019 Ford Edge from a local independent dealer in Gainesville a couple of years ago. She loved it. Great vehicle with no issues other than it only had two rows of seating and our son and daughter-in-law gave us our second granddaughter in Sep of 20. We needed a vehicle with 3rd row seating to accommodate our growing family. Because of this, we returned to the same dealer to look for such vehicle. Because we loved the Edge. We settled on a beautiful 2020 Ford Explorer Limited. She was in love. This was December of 2020. Fast forward to March 2021 and I set up a service apt with Park to check the vehicle for hard shifting issues and reported the back up camera showing a blue screen intermittently. I showed Gus the service tech a picture of what we were seeing. Received a call later that day stating that our 2020 Explorer that had 32,000 miles needed a part replaced in the transmission and that they could not reproduce the back up camera issue and would not do anything about it if they didnt see it for themselves. Fast forward to last month when the hard shifting returned and the back up camera had permanently started showing the blue screen. The first thing they asked was mileage which was then at 37,170 miles. I was told hope you have an extended warranty by Gus. I stated my case that the problem was reported back in March when the vehicle was well under the warranty. I got no where. I spoke with the service manager who informed me that Park nor Ford owed me anything since I hadnt bought anything directly from Ford or done a lot of business with Park Ford. The pictures I had from 3/8/21, 4/4/21 and 10/19 all look the same and look just like the camera didnt when we dropped off the vehicle last week for the repair. Our extended warranty covered what Ford should have. We of course had to pay our $100 deductible. We were also informed that our vehicle was showing no codes for the hard shifting although the technician agreed that it was again shifting hard. Gus advised that they have had vehicles waiting 2+ months for transmission work and that the dealership no longer has a transmission tech. Today the camera was blue again. Its got to go back to be fixed again. Hopefully its repaired by Friday when our 2022 GMC Acadia Denali arrives. Prior to this experience, we were thinking we would continue to to own Ford SUVs and likely buy the next one new. After this, I will never step foot back in Park Ford or any other Ford dealership for that matter.

We had an appointment at 8:30 for a basic oil change and tire rotation. We spent 3 hours waiting. I understand that you are under staffed, but then you should accomodate and book less appointments. What is the point of having an appointment if I have to wait for three hours? As it is, I had to wait two months to get my car serviced.We then received a list (verbally) of all the things the car needed done. I asked for a print out but the person helping us was unable to print the document. She said she had E-mailed it to me, but I never received it (I checked my spam as well). I then called you TWICE and asked if you could E-mail me the list of what the car needed. I have still not received anything and no one has called me back. My wife and I both agreed that we will no longer take our cars to be serviced by you.

I brought my ford f-150 in for a new set of tires and to get electrical work done, phenomenal work and (while it took a little longer than i had originally planned) they made sure to do their best to apply any financial help they could. I was in contact with Cody and he was super helpful and responsive to any questions or concerns that i had. I would come back and recommend their service to any of my friends or family.

Absolutely unacceptable customer service. No return phone calls in over a week after getting a Government vehicle towed here for “routine” maintenance. I called numerous times & left several messages, with no return phone call and no update. I got passed around to several service reps, placed on hold for long periods of time, then hung up on, no one responded to voice messages or provided completion status. Hopefully we won’t need to bring the GOV here in the future.I was advised that they are “three weeks behind”… I strongly recommend taking your vehicle elsewhere.

At Parks Ford of Gainesville we met Richard Shirk some time end of August. It is the first time we are buying a new vehicle/truck for my father. This is probably the most important car purchase we will ever make. So far he has been extremely pleasant to talk to, very respectful, and especially patient with us answering our questions and concerns. No bad vibes at all. He loves what he does and as a bonus, you will learn some cool facts about cars and its history that youd probably never heard of. This gentlemen gets a 5 star in my book.

I purchased a Gold Certified Pre-Owned 2019 Ford F-150 Limited from this dealership. It was in excellent condition the night I purchased the truck with the exception of a mechanical issue with the moonroof.They agreed to repair the issue under warranty and I would come and pick up the truck the next day. Upon my picking it up, I noticed several deep scratches on the moonroof glass and when I told them that the damage was done during repair because it wasnt present at the time of purchased they denied my request to replace the glass.@Parks Ford, I was planning on shopping your inventory for a Platinum Expedition later this year but youve lost my trust and I WILL NOT be recommending you any future business.

I want to give my salesman Ryan a shout out. I went in Monday, 5/24 with my expectations for the type of vehicle I wanted, trim, preferred creditor, APR, down payment, plan to trade-in, etc. He rocked it in meeting my list of demands. I went back after work on Tuesday, 5/25 to test drive the vehicle and bring my older vehicle in. He worked closely with George and Jorge (I believe are their names) who were equally awesome. They worked relentlessly to meet my list and truly succeeded. These men stay after closing until 8:30PM working to make sure they gave me the best deal. I left that night with my the keys to my new car that Ryan even made sure was detailed and filled with gas beforehand. He even took the liberty to put my old tag onto new car. If you are going to look into purchasing a new vehicle from this location. I highly recommend asking for Ryan. Nothing short of phenomenal.Also, I want to give a shout out to the service department because I had always taken my Focus for the last few years prior to my upgrade to the Explorer. Gus is straight forward and professional. I highly recommend him as well if you are needing your vehicle serviced. Of course, he will be my go to if I ever need to service my Explorer.

BEWARE of service dept. Especially Students. 1. Be aware their diagnostic fee is $160… competitors are around $95. This for me was not disclosed. They had my car for a week to diagnose and solve a airbag light and a heated/cooled seat issue. I was told the issue was resolved by clearing computer codes. I will not mention names but they have service advisors that need training badly. (Claimed that the rear brakes do a majority of the stopping power on a car). They wasted time and preformed inspections that my vehicle had done less than 10 days prior and then claimed that I had a list of things to address when the other dealer did not identify anything of alarm. Know your vehicle or bring someone that is knowledgeable. Left the service department with a dirtier car and nothing fixed.

Not only did they help me find my dream car last November, they’ve been great with maintaining my dream car too! I know it sounds cheesy but I’m honestly obsessed with my little car. It’s a 2020 Hyundai venue and I had never heard of them as they started manufacturing in 2018 but once I got to test drive it I was in love. The sales folks and service folks are really helpful and kind, I definitely suggest this place to anyone who isn’t sure what they want or just want a good experience car buying and maintaining! Drove from Ohio on vacation. My alternator went out of my car on Thursday. My husband was in Tavares with no car. I had a daughter to pick up in S. Carolina on Saturday at 10 am to return home. I was a mess. Gus helped calm me down and worked so hard to get my car done that day… unfortunately it didn’t happen, but he pulled the strings and I was on the road the next morning. Found a used F-150 online line that we were interested in seeing. Called the dealer to be sure that it was still there. Talked to Cameron, he said it was there and he would move it to the front for us for when we got there. Drove 1.5 hours to check it out and take it for a test drive. It was almost everything I wanted, we negotiated the price and drove away happy customers. I would recommend this dealer to everyone. Cameron and the office manager were very friendly. In a couple of hours we looked, drove, signed the papers and became new owners. I appreciate the fact that we did not have to do a lot of back and forth with the price, the truck was very clean and the tank was full.Thank you Cameron for a pleasant experience.

Im going to start off this review with saying that this dealership has been one of the best experiences Ive had at any dealership so far. I also want to say that I did not buy any vehicles from them yet. But the test drive went swimmingly. They were completely honest about my evaluation and didnt sugar coat anything. Just complete honesty and I love them for it. There was no shade, no lying just 100% honesty and truth from their sales rep and managers. The two amazing men Jorge and Harold were just spectacular. Right to the point with EVERYTHING. I could not have asked for better sales men. Harold came out of the store and approached and greeted me and my significant other with a smile and pleasant conversation. The manager went over information with me thoroughly and when it was all said and done without me buying anything. He still treated me like I had just purchased the most expensive vehicle on the lot. This is by far the absolute worst dealership that I have ever been to and experienced. I called the dealership before I arrived because I live over an hour away. Over the phone the sales gentleman was more interested in if I was going to trade my vehicle in rather than provide me with the information of the vehicle I was calling about. Once I arrived at the dealership I waited outside for 30 minutes before anyone tried to come help me. As everyone knows, car dealerships inventory is slim pickings so it’s not as if they couldn’t see me and my family in the parking lot. After waiting over 30 minutes my family & I began walking to the entrance of the dealership & someone came out to greet us. We explained to the salesman what we were here to look at. The salesman immediately asked us why we wanted that particular vehicle and then went straight into asking what vehicle we had. I explained to the salesman that right now I am more interested in being able to see inside of the vehicle we came to look at. The salesman continued to insist on wanting information about our vehicle and asked if we were planning on trading it in. I again asked if we could just see inside of the vehicle we drove over an hour to come see. The salesman said he was going to get the keys to the vehicle but he never returned. Apparently Parks Ford has so much business happening that they didn’t need to sell another vehicle today. I came prepared to actually purchase that particular vehicle as well. Sad loss for them.

Ive been a customer at Parks Ford for a few years now and unfortunately Ive not had the best luck with my last 2 cars. Unfortunately Ive had to deal with recalls and unexpected issues on my cars with low mileage but my service rep, Gus, has always gone above and beyond to accommodate my concerns and get my car fixed and safe to drive on the road again in a timely manner. Even with my issues; Im still loyal to Ford and will continue to drive a Ford Car, SUV, or Truck.I would recommend anyone to see Gus at Parks Ford. Would give no stars if possible. Parks Ford currently has my vehicle and have not responded to any of the phone calls and messages Ive left. It took them three days to realize they even had my vehicle and when they did, they couldnt find the key. I then had to call the tow truck company and get the name of the person who received the key. After I gave the name, they found the key 4 hours later. Currently on my 20th phone call in the last 4 days to find out whats happening with my vehicle.Was just informed that they havent even assigned a person to my vehicle. I still have no idea how they tout #1 in customer service.

The reason for this low rating is I was not completely satisfied with the service for several reason.1. I had to make two appointments due to staffing and was informed that I may have to reschedule due to staffing. I understand that technicians are out due to Covid-19, so I left my car. The work was completed in after two days.2. I do not like the way I was informed of what was wrong with my car. I received a text which wanted me to click on a link to review the inspection and approve the recommendations. I called instead as to get an explanation and price of the findings, that way I could approve them.3. I requested what would be the final price (including tax, labor, and service) of what it would. I was told a price which I approved and ask the service representative again to make sure and he assured me that would be the price.4. When I pick up my car the price for repairs and service was totally different. It was almost $200 more than I was told. The representative went back over everything and some how they came up with the price I was told.Not sure what is going on with the service department, but if I sent someone to pick up the car, they would have paid the first total.This is not exceptable and needs to be looked into. I purchased my car from Ford new and has had all the service done by Ford. I am looking to purchase another vehicle from your company soon; however, if this is going to be happening I may need to look at other dealerships.Please look into this as other customer may have been overcharged.Thank you,A valued customer

The service department at Parks Hyundai went out of their way to work my car in for service of an electrical problem even though they are short-handed and not offering regular appointments for 6 weeks. I had thought the issue might have been connected to some work they had done a month ago. It turned out that the problem was unconnected, but they were able to do the repair within 2 hours of diagnosing it. I have always been treated with courtesy and respect while doing business at Parks Hyundai and I am most appreciative of their special attention in this case.

We had an excellent experience with Harold Miles. He was kind, courteous and very knowledgeable. He did not make the car buying purchase stressful and when we left we did not feel exhausted from the experience. We drove 120 miles for the vehicle I wanted, we were in contact with Harold during our driving process, time we left, expected to be there and direction details. When we got there the vehicle was pulled around upfront and ready for us to view and test drive. Then came the numbers, Harold made the process easy when it came to negotiations with the sales portion. He stayed late until we were done, we were there 2 hours after the dealership closed. He even followed up with us the next day to make sure we made it home safely.

After months of searching I was excited and relieved that I finally found the perfect vehicle. The sales team was slow to respond initially so that should have tipped me off. When I expressed my interest in the vehicle and got my application sent,the texts stopped. I tried for a couple of days to try to contact the sales manager and the salesman with no response. I called the dealership directly because I was trying to put the $2000 deposit on it as was suggested to do so it wouldnt get sold over the weekend. No one answers the phone at the main number. Today is Monday and I finally got in touch with the internet sales manager that had sent me an e-mail this morning to see if I had everything I needed for my purchase. I called and he informed me the vehicle had sold the day I put my application in. There was no courtesy call to let me know the vehicle had been sold so I have been sitting all weekend waiting when I could have been shopping for another vehicle. Very unprofessional and a waste of time. I will be looking somewhere else!!

Ryan was my sales guy, he was outstanding, I walked in and was greeted with excellence and the feeling that he cared. He helped me with everything I needed. The car I went in to look at ended up being at a sister store two hours away. So it had to have to be delivered to delivered to parks of Gainesville. Ryan personally told me that he would be more than happy to hand deliver me my car. So we signed some papers and within two hours we had secured the car. Since the car wasn’t at the dealership I had to wait the weekend to receive it. Then next day Ryan called me saying my car was ready for pick up and he even filled up the car for me. I made an appointment to have my brakes done. The service manager I made the appointment with was not in, so another service manager did the intake I left my vehicle all day and was waiting on a call telling me it was completed. By 5 PM I sent a text to the assigned service manager and found out the service department had not gotten to it yet. He offered to get a couple guys on it and knock it out real quick and I declined to have a hurried up brake job by tired mechanics who were tasked to stay late and work on my car. I cannot confirm but I got the feeling the intake was buried and there was some internal conflict between the service managers and I was the victim of it all. Ive always had excellent service with Parks Ford and Ive been taking my Fords to them ever since I bought the first one, about 10 years ago.

We live 3 hours away, at first the customer service was great over the phone. We were sent pictures of the vehicle of the scratches and what not. Drove all the way down there just to find out the front bumper had dents all across the whole thing as well as more flaws that were not disclosed. Not to mention, the inside looked as if it hadnt been detailed, trash was found inside after asking them to detail it. Needless to say we will not be going back.

My appt. was at 1030, i arrived early at 10 for an appointment that they had to schedule 2 months in advance because of shop demand. After my car disappeared off the monitoring screen for 30 minutes I went & asked where it was, it was done & parked in the back lot, took another 30 minutes to check out because they kept trying to tell me I had to PAY for my free oil change because I was past the change date. I kept having to point out to them that it was their scheduling backlog, not my fault. Then they told me I would not be allowed to use my last free service because of the time limit on the free services ! I walked out of there after 3 hours. I hope I never have to go back ! 1 star is the best I could do

I went to Parks Hyundai to bring my car in for a new transmission. When I found out that I wouldnt be able to afford it, I talked with Johnathan about trading it in. He brought me next door to Parks Ford and set me up with a beautiful barely used 2016 Ford Fusion and was very accommodating. The entire process was painless and every person I talked or dealt with was beyond helpful! Came in to Parks Ford looking for new vehicle that would work for my personal and work life. Was greeted by Cameron Costello who was very willing to show me the three I had gotten my choices down. I was straight forward with not waiting to beat around the bush with wasting his time, testing driving. The SUV needed to hold my stuff or it wasnt going to work. He took the time to actively listen, show me the features that would help me with my work life and maybe some that I might not have considered. He was patient as we did the test drive.They didnt have the one I wanted right here in Gainesville but he found it a couple hours away and by the following day I was driving off in my new Ford Expedition fully loaded. Happier than ever with the greatest ease of buying a new car. His communication was impeccable, stayed late trying to get the car there the night before. I will be sending him customers for sure. Ive typically been skeptical of going to dealerships for service, but the people here are great and the service was exceptional. Upon request, they showed me before and after pictures of all the parts they fixed/replaced. They wont recommend work that you dont need. Good, honest people.
