I called to see if they had an igniter to a GE range and they did. The gentleman at the counter had it ready for me when I arrived.Price was fair. I am glad that one can come directly to stores to pick up items, rather than wait to have it delivered.Great service.

Ive gotten all of my appliance parts at this company for years, when the older man and his wife owned and worked the store. They have always been nice and very eager to help with quick ordering or advice on a part. Ive not needed a lot of parts, thankfully, but this place is much cheaper than the other local place and I can talk to a local person (whose in the store) when I call. This time I called and he didnt have the part in stock. I called the other place and they didnt have it either. Theirs would ship for a fee and arrive in two days. I called Gainesville Appliance back and had him order it (no extra charge) and it would arrive in two days by 1 o clock. He called in the order so it would go in the system same day to assure two day arrival. I didnt have to prepay. The other place wanted $72 plus the delivery fee..Gainesville Appliance wanted $58. When I picked up the part, I bought two oven bulbs and the total, with bulbs was the same price as originally quoted for the oven part! It was cheaper than quoted! They didnt have to do that because I was happy to save the $14 over his competitors price. So thankful hes there for our community. Great price, great service, locally owned and operated. You cant beat it! His little helper was very nice as well. :)

I want to give Phil at Gainesville Appliances Parts stote a HUGE SHOUT OUT for helping us out yesterday about getting our A/C Unit fixed! He was very knowledgeable and pointed me in the right direction about getting it fix.Also the technician, Matt (didnt catch his last name) that came out to our house to troubleshoot further was just as knowledgeable as Phil! Matt was down to earth and showed me exactly what he did to fix it and was a lifesaver on a Friday evening.I strongly recommend that you if you have an appliance problem in your house, go to Gainesville Appliances Parts store and Phil (the owner) will treat you right, just like me!

Save yourself some wasted time and money with this hillbilly business. Buyer beware, because if your part doesn’t work or you didn’t need it. They will not return it. Guess they need ever dollar they con you out of. So if buy here, don’t say you haven’t been warned.

His Dad opened this store.He sells the same parts as the high priced guys, but at a lower price.He can even advise you how to repair it, so you may not even need the part. His brother, Paul might even install it for you that same day.Gainesville Appliance Parts is open on Saturday morning. You can install your replacement parts before the competitors open the store. If you had the refrigeration part when you needed it, the clients refrigerator will be repaired before the food can thaw out. GAP is your best local supplier for almost any appliance part, from a toaster fuse to a 5 ton Copeland Scroll compressor. Dont waste your time calling anybody else.

Id rather support a small business like Gainesville Appliance with a owner that is kind & knowledgable about helping customers select the right parts than buying from online. This business has been selling parts for over 25 yrs. Hes also a little cheaper than Amazon or Fox!

I called a another appliance store for pricing and was told 2 dryer knobs would cost $20 each and the part which was a dryer start switch would run around $40 but I stopped at Gainesville appliance and Phil got my 2 knobs and switch for $26 out the door.So I will always go to Gainesville appliance parts from now on.and by the way I did not have a model number for my GE dryer.
