The Key Acura service department is wonderful. I was traveling on 75 south at night when an 18 wheeler blew a tire that tore up my car. I had it towed to Key, they fit me in the next morning and got me on the road by lunch time. Furthermore, they were able to make the repairs without needing any parts- so I completely trust the mechanics. I was in a bind and they were honest and fair.
If you want the best car buying experience Key Acura is the place to go. They are amazing. My salesman was the best ever! I am on a tight budget and no one tried to upsell me or push me into a vehicle I didnt want or couldnt afford. I fell in love with the RDX but thought I could never afford it. The finance person worked really hard to find me financing I could afford. Im now the very happy owner of a RDX. I would recommend Key Acura to any one who wants a great buying experience, great financing, and a great vehicle youll love.
Bait and switch on us. After we drove an hour. Even worse the switch was to a car that was disgusting inside and rundown. For 25gs. Smh. Not cool.

If you already have a pre-approved loan, do not go through this dealer... they wanted to charge almost 1000 dollars because I was pre-approved and the dealer fees them selves were a bit high.. they didn’t work with me at all on the price of the vehicle I was interested in and honestly seemed super shady in the end.... glad I found my vehicle else where.
Traded in my Toyota Tacoma on a 2018 gmc canyon red 4x4 I had the truck 3 days had transmission issues and the stereo had a mind of its own and flipped between home screens I took the truck back to the dealership and wanted my old truck back as for the truck they sold me was a lemon the manager told me my truck was already sent to to auction and they installed new tires on it so I settled for a jeep cause the trucks they had stunk like smoke or the motor tapped when you started it up the jeep had hail damage to the hood they agreed to fix it I was giving a loaner car when I returned the loaner car what did I see on the lot ? My truck that I was lied to about it being gone and sent to auction...then I was told they lost the keys to it ...funny thing is also it still had the expensive procomp tires I had on the truck so it never even got tires another lie then I finally seen it posted online for sale on the lot another lie ...this is how they treat their customers they dont care about us as long as they push a sale .....so beware before you buy here they are shady and you wonder why you only see 3 to 4 people working at a big dealership ....beware!!! They are all liars

Key acura of Gainesville made a very welcoming and easy experience of buying a new truck! Anthony and Jim helped us get financed on a decent monthly payment even when our credit was not the best. Key acura of Gainesville will go the extra mile when you cant. The test drive was our ultimate sell, they handed us the keys to the truck we were looking at and told us well see you when you get back! We enjoyed riding around Gainesville test driving the new truck and it made for an awesome experience buying said truck.
I bought my Acura TSX wagon at another Acura dealership only due to availability. I have had to take it back to the original dealership several times for the same problem. Bernie and Rick got it fixed the first time! I tell anyone who is in need of car repairs to go see them. They are always honest with me and do whatever it takes to make sure Im happy.

Tried to charge me almost $500 for simple maintenance I called up a different Acura dealership and they told me under $250 including tax. Be weary when choosing this dealership. Very rude service staff told me either get the maintenance done or get a new car.
Regular service has been fine. I always appreciated the friendly service and complimentary car wash. However, during the last oil change, they noticed that the brake pads were wearing unevenly and that the rear passenger-side pad was almost completely worn down. I scheduled service to have the brakes fixed a short while later, and they replaced all brake pads and resurfaced the rotors. A few months later, the rear passenger wheel area was very warm and smelled like burning brakes. This time, they charged to replace a binding brake caliper totaling $384 ($190 labor). I feel that this is something that should have been addressed during the first brake job since they knew the brakes were wearing unevenly. Had it been done then, a lot of the redundant labor would have saved me a fair amount of money. I am disappointed with the level of service I received during the first brake job and the extra labor for which I had to pay the second time. The car is out of warranty, and I should have looked for a better service provider sooner. I thought the extra expense was worth it for the level of service, but I now realize thats not the case. I wont be returning to Davis Gainesville Acura.
Davis Acura does everything right. Kerry is the person to talk with if you want to buy an Acura. Highly professional, knows everything about all the models, very low-key, explained everything concisely but thoroughly, and was just so easy to work with. From first meeting to delivery (including a very thorough run through of features), the experience was so pleasant and stress-free.Moses, who handled the financial aspects, was very helpful, courteous, and efficient at processing all the paperwork. I couldnt believe how quickly he got everything done while still answering my questions along the way. Both he and Kerry made me feel like they really valued me as a customer and appreciated my choosing Acura. Rick, the service director, runs an award-winning department so I know all the service is top-notch. Working with these fine people has made this the best car buying and owning experience I’ve ever had. My highest recommendation.
I rarely do reviews, but the service and professionalism of this dealership is remarkable. From the salesman Kerry to the business manager Jim we got first class experience that made the drive from Jacksonville worth it. Other dealers take note, Key Acura has a special recipe.
Dealership was not willing to work with me, I came in with preapproved loan for up to 60k, with trade and they wanted to add over 2k in fees because I had a bank draft. Disappointing that they werent able to review that draft and allow a little more for my trade with down payment and to take into consideration that I drove over hour to look at this deal.I would not recommend due to the way I was treated by fianace guy. The sales woman was very polite.

The lounge is always comfortable with snacks and drinks and is nice to even just sit there while your vehicle is serviced. They are not pushy when it comes to service to your car, but are honest with you about things you need but never push anything. I will always bring my Acura here hands down!

They examine your car and kindly tell you what needs to be done, but are not the pushy salesmen that try to get you to rework your entire car on your visit. Shopping for cars isn’t my thing, as I’ve owned the same car for the past 11 years. It didn’t feel like the stereotypical experience. I didn’t feel pressured to purchase. Took my Acura in for a recall on the airbag. They were super fast and courteous. They really seemed happy to have me there. I was in and out of there in no time and they even washed and vacuumed my car for me which was a nice touch.
Our experience with Acura of Gainesville, especially Aaron Francis-Verbeelen, was extremely positive. Aaron spent a very generous amount of time with us explaining all the features of the car we were considering and then he went the extra mile to secure a fair and reasonable purchase price. Car buying is often a difficult and unpleasant experience, this was not the case at all with the Acura dealership. Kudos to them for a calm and respectful process.

Ms Pineda was attentive, but not pushy. When I needed time to wander and think, she gave it and when I needed additional info, she provided it and answered my questions... even when I asked repetitive questions (was it this black car you told me XYZ ... or the one to the right of it ... or to the left of it?). Additionally, follow up after the sale to ask if I had any issues was a good touch. All in all ... a great experience.
Rick the Service Manager and all of his staff do an excellent job of maintaining my Acura TL. This is our second Acura, not only because they are great cars but because we really appreciate the excellent service dept at Gatorland Acura. Rick always goes the extra mile and also hires excellent staff.
Gatorland Acura service department is the best Ive experienced in my 33 years as a car owner. And that includes direct experience in 5 other states and South Florida. The only dealer service departments to come close were those of Saturn, a now extinct species of car.

I love my MDX, and Ive learned that anything with mechanical moving parts will malfunction at some point so Im okay having few issues with a car. Davis Gainesville Acura however is a horrible place to take your car in for any service covered under warranty. Even after an early scheduled appointment, it takes them a whole day to get the simplest thing fixed. If youre taking your car there for service covered under warranty, make sure you dont need that car for the whole day. I also dont get calls from them when my car is ready. I just have to assume that the car is ready since its been there for 6-8 hours. The technicians also has no pride in their work so check your car for missing panels, panel alignments, and missing screws that has been removed to get to replaced parts. Its not something the customer should have to do, but if you leave their facility without doing so, you will have to re-schedule an appointment and drop off your car for another whole day for them to try to address the issue that they created. Going to the next Acura dealership for service is one hour and forty minutes drive for me. Because of Davis Gainesville Acura poor customer service, I may never buy an other new Acura vehicle. Thats very disappointing because I greatly enjoy driving my MDX.

Completely dishonest and no adherence to customer commitments. Despite a signed purchase order and deposit, they knowingly sold the car without even contacting me. Salesperson Aaron Francis-Verbeelen and sales manager Brandon Maynard are the 2 culprits. Reported to Better Business Bureau and FL State Attorney General. Steer clear of this shady dealership and negligent staff!
This post is in reference to my Fiance who purchase a 2019 RDX from Davis Acura @ 3435 N. Main Street, Gainesville FL, 32609. This 2019 RDX was purchased in June of 2018. Nice car but plenty of problems so far. We took a road trip to Pennsylvania in July of 2018 when about to return to Florida after loading the vehicle and stopping to fuel up for are start of the trip back the car wouldnt start. No lights, no nothing.... after calling the 800 number because On-star or the emergency system with this car couldnt work because of no power. We were connected to Davis Acura and spoke with a technician who could not explain what was happening and were told we would have to have it towed to the closest dealership which was hundreds of miles away. Before this trip my Fiance had asked them about an system update which this car was asking for and was told it hadnt been issued yet and we would be informed when that time is. So being stuck we disconnected one of the battery post, and waited a minute too place it back on and the car started up but with no gps or anything. My Fiance place the call back to the technician and was told they would let Davis Acura know of the situation and they would be expecting the car when we arrived to Gainesville. After making it back the vehicle goes in for service and is having other issue such as the tail hatch door not closing on command, and getting stuck half way down or up. The swipe feature to open the hatch works when it wants too. At the time this vehicle is there they tell us there still is no current update of the system (gps. etc). My Fiance finally get a call to bring the car in for the current update in the beginning of Jan of 2019. She reminds them of the issues the car has been having and they tell her its the driver error. She receives a call that her car system is finally updated too then have her pick it up and she is not even 2 miles from the dealership the car starts too reports that the system not updated..... tools were left in car, pieces of the cargo missing.... then again to be question that its not the car but the operator. I finally go to the dealership with her because Im tired of them treating her like she doesnt know what the issues are that this car is having. I have witness them myself. I Demanded Rick Davis phone number along with Acura Corporate..... we are hoping this can be fixed the right way........ but so far we are very disappointed in the service at Davis Gainesville Acura..... I will continue to update this until this 2019 RDX is fixed!

I was in the market for a new Acura and went to Gatorland Acura since I live in Gainesville. I worked with Charles who was very pleasant and hard-working. Unfortunately, I found that Gatorland increases their vehicle prices by over a thousand dollars in extras which include paint protection and additional dealer profit. My experience was that even though they acknowledge nobody pays sticker price they were not willing to negotiate very much beyond the sticker price of the vehicle. When given the information and numbers from a dealership that had clearly undersold them, Georgio encouraged me to purchase the vehicle from a different dealership... which I ultimately did.I bought my new Acura from Acura of Orange Park and would encourage anybody else in the market for a new Acura to make the trip. The selection is substantially better and they are much more motivated to sell cars.

I dropped my car off for service. 3 days later once I got it back, there was a large chipped paint splotch on the passanger side bumper. It was not there before I had my car serviced. Not impressed with the customer service whatsoever. All he wanted to do was get me in and out the door.

Recently had my MDX serviced at Gainesville Acura for a power train warranty-covered repair. Alex the service receptionist was very helpful throughout the process. She scheduled the appointment, arranged the loaner car, and even offered me a bottle of water on drop off and pick up. She seemed to enjoy her job which made me feel more comfortable with a dealership I hadnt visited before. Robert was very knowledgable about the MDX. He listened to my concern, explained what the issue likely was, and discussed what the warranty would cover. As promised, I received a call the next day when my car was ready. Once back at the dealership, Robert then went over the work that was performed and I was back in my MDX on the road in a few minutes. Overall, the process was very organized and professional.
My most recent interaction with now Acura of Gainesville was a very disappointing experience. It was apparent that things were unusually unorganized, not what I was accustomed to with the previous management and service team, Gatorland. The staff member I was dealing with was not welcoming nor very friendly. My issue with my car was dismissed immediately and was informed it wasnt worth looking at. My car was never assessed or diagnosed, simply ignored. I have been a multiple car owner of Acuras for over 15 yrs and this is very discouraging. Gatorland Acura managment and service team were amazing and surely recognized customer loyalty. I most defintely do not recommend Acura of Gainesville and will no longer choose them as my car service provider..
It took 5 phone calls to order a part and still couldnt get a service appointment. Apparently no one in parts can schedule an appointment, and no one in service knows how to order parts. When I finally get service, they want to charge an hour and a half to change the emblem and are asking me the details of what part I ordered and whether it sticks on or screws on (when it should be in their computer system because I ordered it from them). I give up and just come pick up the part I ordered, only to be told they forgot to order the screws that go with the part, and it would take an additional 2 days to get it. I ask him to look at the car and check to see if I have the screws and he refused to leave from behind the counter. I leave disappointed with just my emblem and drive to Tire Plus. They looked at my car for free, tell me that no screws are needed, and advise me to buy glue from discount auto parts and put the emblem on myself. $5 glue and good service did the trick. Im never taking my car to Gainesville Acura again. They are unhelpful and just look for ways to overcharge you (1.5 hrs mechanic time for a glue on emblem -_-) Others recommended just going to Honda instead.

My 2013 MDX: I was looking for best price for my new 2013 MDX, and accepting quotes from the ACURA dealers neary. Everybody quoted high price, but GATORLAND ACURA quoted lowest and competitive price. Neil Gass, internet manager at Gatorland Acura contacted me as soon as I submitted the quote requtest through ACURA website. It took like 5 minutes to finish the deal. I bought my MDX next day. Staff at Gatorland Acura are awesome. They are down-to-earth ACURA dealers, honest and respectfull. They delivered my ACURA as they promised.
