Made an appointment for a flu shot. Completed all the paperwork on line but was prompted to fill it out again when I got here. We are currently 20 minutes in, still waiting for my shot. Not sure why I made an appointment. Same thing happened last year. Figured I would give them another chance. Never again. I don’t understand how Walgreens is still even in business for the pharmacies. The one in angier is just as bad.

The line is always at least a half an hour long, they are clearly too busy for the amount of space that they have allotted to them at this location. I started going to Harris Teeter instead, and I’ve never waited more than five minutes. The staff there is nowhere near as overworked and are much more friendly.

Clearly management is not paying people like they should, as they only have 3 people total working in the store this evening. I completely understand being understaffed, but since I have been coming here, this wait is ridiculous. 45 minutes in the 2 lane drive-thru with only one pharmacist/technician working the entire pharmacy. The employee from the store portion said that they have been trying to hire, but no one wants to work there. Customer service is great at this location, its definitely not the employees fault. Unfortunately, with the hours I work, I have to have a 24 hrs pharmacy available. Just do better Walgreens management!!

Literally THE worst place to get prescriptions. The drive through is always at least 4 cars deep in each lane, and the in store customer service does make up for the lengthy amount of time you have wasted in line. You’re better off driving 20-30 minutes to a neighboring pharmacy, because by the time you get home you would’ve just been paying for your prescription here.

Submitted a single disposable camera to this Walgreens that has ONE HOUR PHOTO written on the side of the building in massive letters. It has now been five weeks without getting the prints. I did the math and thats roughly 840 hours.Walgreens, let me know when its okay for me to come down with a ladder and some tools to change that sign to 840 Hour Photo. You dont even have to pay me.Its no problem, Im excited to see my photo prints in a decade or two. Its kind of like a cute little time capsule except you pay Walgreens to lie to you and spit in your face. I am in pain.

Absolutely the worst pharmacy for prescriptions. As I sit in line, again, finally decided we are going to transfer everything. The wait inside or DT is always ridiculous. Have had messages that meds are ready and you arrive and they arent. I have no idea what the issues are at this location.

They only get a 1 star because there is not option to give 0. Everytime I come to the pharmacy IT IS A NIGHTMARE. So I have learned to call ahead even though you still end up waiting. Today topped the cake. I legit called at 126pm to ask them to get my scripts ready. Got to pharmacy at 610pm, waited online. Got to counter at 620pm and was told it will be 20 mins that the meds were coming from a timed safe. Thats all good and well but what in the hell is the point of calling almost 5 hrs to the minute PRIOR if you still must wait. Its inexcusable!!!! I am annoyed. I have family whose coming from Pennsylvania that I need to prepare dinner as they are 30 mins away and now I must come back sometime later for it. It is just disgusting.

Went to Walgreens to a Covid test, only one lane is for testing but you cant read the sign until you get to the actual window. So we waited 20 minutes ( on the wrong lane.) They then made us go to the back of the line on the other side to wait. Fix your sign or send that information in your reminder email. Very disappointed. Made appointment for a reason!!!

Waited behind one customer for 30 minutes to pick up my prescription that was ready. Not the first time. No mention of sorry for the long wait. Horrible service and attitude from lady at photos named kris, she felt the need to have a smart attitude with me after I told her they were suppose to be ready yesterday and I had came in to get them and they weren’t ready and they said give us 30 minutes and I gave them an hour and they still weren’t ready. She might need extra help she looked stressed, then felt the need to toss my photos across the counter. Champ was great tho! Wonderful help.

This pharmacy continues to go downhill. The service is terrible and they always blame it on being short staffed. Why would you operate 2 drive through lanes with 1 attendant? Waited in the drive through line for over 30 minutes only to be told my prescription wasn’t ready, when it should have been ready over an hour sooner. Asked to circle back around or come in. I park and go in only to be told they were out of the medication. And they couldn’t have called to advise me?

I went to the pharmacy last night looking for an oral syringe for our bearded dragon. Her vets are closed on the weekend and the pet store didnt have one. Our beardie wont take her medicine except fron one type of syringe and hers broke. When I came here 3 people in the back tried their best to find one. One of the ladies finally found the type our beardie would use. I am very pleased how I was treated and how they went out of their way to help me. Very friendly and eager to help.

This is a great store in a great town. All of these reviews about waiting and having to wait are not thinking of the explosion of growth this small area has had in the last two years. This is the only Walgreens in town and this store is always busy.This store has great people in it and many of these people have worked here for five or more years. I’ve lived in Fuquay-Varina for ten years and most businesses do NOT have a high turnover which makes it great. Due to all of the tech jobs coming to the triangle, Apex, Holly Springs and Fuquay-Varina have seen tons of new homes, people, vehicles, traffic etc and it does take time to adjust to this. Please keep that in mind when you leave a bad review on one bad day.If you are looking for a small town feel with people who feel more like family, you’ve found the right store.

I don’t necessarily blame the local pharmacy for the awful service. They seem extremely short staffed and overworked. Every time I pick up a prescription I have to set aside two hours because the line wait is frequently at least an hour. Pharmacy staff is not very friendly.

Been here twice for vaccine, they share the pharmacy staff for vaccine, meaning they are busy and dont get a chance to service people in long line for vaccine. Staying in line for hour! We just moved here and Walgreens was our first choice for medications. We will not use the one on main street in Fuquay again. The blonde woman, possibly named Patti, at the prescription counter was so rude and condescending, not only to me but also to the customer that was in front of me. She loves to laugh at everything and definitely loves to argue. She enjoys pointing out she is right and everyone else is wrong. This is horrible customer service. Seems the staff needs customer service training if you read all the reviews. If I were the store manager I would be paying attention to all of these, its more than one or two people stating the employees are rude.

Placed a photo order Dec 12th an no movement. Went in few days later and was told will call later that day - machine was broken for several days. Fine but- No call. Went in few days later and woman was incredibly rude telling me just oh we ran out of paper. And?? Forever or ? Well, Wednesday then IF the truck comes. Christmas day THIRTEEN days later for a same day order, I get an email that the order was cancelled and oh hey you can resend it to another Walgreens. Things break, things happen like running out of paper. Why couldnt anyone pick up the phone, email or TELL the customers hey we can cancel and redirect your order to another location? Cashiers are always awesome here but it seems like theres no one at the wheel managing this location at all.

Says open 24 hours online but arrived at 5pm on 12/14/20 and the drive through was blocked off by barricades and the doors were locked. There was a sign on the door that said closed, no reason just CLOSED: Visit us at our nearest alternative location. This is unacceptable for people who needed their medications that day and could not wait for a transfer to another pharmacy. I am livid at the lack of customer service and simple care for your customers and patients who lives literally rely on you providing medications. Unacceptable.

Very incompetent and rude. Disgusting and a disgrace. After working years for Walgreens and in the Healthcare industry and for the government this Walgreens is by far the worst. They seem to have time to stand around and gossip and talk about the latest news and this and that while 12 cars are in line outside and 6 people waiting in line inside. Also, they somehow do not receive prescription refill verifications from doctors even though the patient has a copy of the verification sent. Very shady. Never use this pharmacy!!

They say you have prescriptions ready on the phone and then when you get there, its not ready and they just shrug their shoulders, as if they arent playing life and death with you by withholding medications.ETA: I finally decided Ive had enough, so I contacted another pharmacy to handle my prescriptions. When that pharmacy called Walgreens, THEY LIED and told the new pharmacy they had given me all my prescriptions today.Sick individuals. Im not a drug seeker. My prescriptions are not addictive. BEST pharmacy ever! I had been getting the run-around from the mail order pharmacy our insurance plan now requires AND the doctor. Thank goodness for Walgreens--they took THEIR time to transfer my script to ANOTHER pharmacy in town that would accept my insurance so I would not run out of medication. Cheerful. Courteous. Helpful. I will continue to give them all the business I can.

I went in to pick up a prescription for my mom and right from the start Kris was VERY rude. She threw my ID back at me, instead of just handing it to me like a civilized human being and had a rude tone the whole time I was talking to her. She also apologized to the person behind me for the “wait” when I am just as much as a customer as the person who was behind me. I don’t know if it was because I am younger and she felt it was okay to basically talk down to me or what, but i did not appreciate it.

Theres literally one pharmacist here that is always awesome. She works overnight every other week. She is always kind, helpful and nonjudgmental. Flash to the opposite weeks overnight and you get the rudest, most condescending jerk. He goes out of his way to be rude and make you feel like scum. He makes up his own rules as get sees fit, and changes them at will. Ive been clean for 9 years, but take a maintenance med. For this reason he treats me like im going to rob the place. Tonight it was that he decided not to accept my husbands card for payment of 3$ because we have different last names. I have everything on the planet in my wallet to prove we are married. So I paid him in a bunch of dimes and nickels. Enjoy

I have tried to give this pharmacy a chance. In the last 3 months, everytime I go to pick up a prescription something is wrong. Their computers are down, their water is shut off, my prescription is not in stock even though I got a phone call stating it was ready for pickup. When you are dealing with important medications, it is vital to be professional and available. I have switched to Harris Teeter and could not be more happy.

This location is ok, but can be better when it comes to asking employees for help at the photo printout section. @Kristen, you may be the supervisor over whatever department, but please and thank yourself for minding your own business and realizing that every customer has a right to ask other employees for help on uploading Facebook photos on their android phones just because were in a pandemic situation for the time being. In fact, good yourself for not wearing a mask just because you didnt think you need to like every other employees at your job... DUH. I can take it up with whomever I please because one of your other employees had to help me figure out how to share my Facebook pictures to my Google photos, then go back to upload to photos to add to album, and click on the ✔ and then click the photo symbol so I could print them out from my android phone to buy them for special occasions. Yeah, I did all of that with or without your help... DUH. Next time, you be good to yourself by minding your own business because every customer has the right to ask employees for help with anything just because its COVID-19. Also, Im glad that one of your lady employees wore mask while helping me enough to do what I needed to do. If I could mark it 0 stars I would. This pharmacy is horrible!!! Their drive through is a joke! I have had to wait in line for over 20 minutes each time I have come to pick up a prescription. (One person ahead of me each time.) They let people sit in line waiting for them to call doctors and insurance. Make those people come inside or drive around for Christ’s sake!!! During the day, this place is just a disaster.Go at night, usually they have a very nice lady working who is fantastic.Things that happen with the day staff- I get notifications that my meds are ready for pickup when theyre not? They have to rerun my insurance every time I fill (this only happens here), they dont notify you of anything- I recently had to go back a total of four times, and they still only had 1 of my 3 filled. All 3 of the problems were on the pharmacy. Im signed up for notifications, but they dont utilize the system. Just save yourself the headache and fill elsewhere.

Ive been a customer of Walgreens for years, but this branch has exceeded my expectations. They get super busy sometimes (which is understandable) and I have to in line, but other than that this place has got to have the BEST customer service I have ever seen! And I work in customer service. The pharmacy has never let me down, they always help me figure out my prescriptions and explain things to me and always have patience with me. Though often extremely busy, I have always had good experiences at this store. We are frequent customers of the pharmacy and the techs and pharmacists take their time to explain the medications, and in our case, the often complicated dosing and mixing of medicines very carefully and patiently until we understand them. The only reason Im giving 4 and not 5 stars is due to the busyness of the store and often long waits at the drive thru.

I was not happy by how I was treated at the pharmacy!!!!! I stopped by the pharmacy on December 5th to see if my insulin was ready and I was told your insurance would be unable to cover it itll be filled on the 8th okay.......I go in a few days later and was given my emergency supply,and I called them the next day to see if my insulin was filled and the pharmacy technician that I spoke to over the phone told me your insurance already covered it when I specifically said to her that the one pen was my emergency supply,but I also explained that I was suppose to get 4 more pens. Im sorry but I cant go without my insulin and being without my insulin is like playing Russian Roulette with my health,Ill still continue to shop at Walgreens but I will no longer be using the pharmacy to get my prescriptionsUPDATE: my insulin was refilled and they gave me a 25 day supply since I was taking a new dosage,they did apologize and that they gave me a limited supply because I was getting a different amount of insulin that I usually take and they want to see if Im taking the correct amount to get the usual pens I get;however,I did transfer my prescriptions to the Walmart pharmacy and Ill be using them to get my prescriptions from now on

This pharmacy and staff have been so great! When CVS gave me the run around about getting a script filled for blood sugar meter supplies, Walgreens was kind and professional, getting me what I needed quickly AND making sure it was covered by insurance. I was in tears after many visits to CVS (pregnancy hormones) where they were rude to me and unhelpful. I will never go back to CVS and will continue to use this Walgreens for all my pharmacy needs! I have the flu. My prescription was sent in this morning. It’s now almost 8pm and the pharmacists cannot process my insurance (which they had a week ago) and I need tamiflu tonight. Or else it won’t work. They wouldn’t even let me know it couldn’t be filled tonight. So irritated. Never coming back here again.Called CVS in fuquay to see if they could fill my prescription instead. This is one busy store! I completely understand how overwhelmed the pharmacy staff can get at times being that i myself have worked retail in the past. Its almost shocking to walk in and not see a line wrapped around the building, even then i see EVERY single technician working on a customer. Due to the recession i suppose, they have been cut hours and are working as fast as possible to meet everyones needs. Thank to the wonderful overnight pharmacist who has answered all my questions since no other pharmacy is open. The entire crew deserves a shout out!!!! keep doing the best you can do and ignore the not so patient customers who surley have NEVER worked retail and are used to being served on a silver platter.
