In my experience, far too many gun shop employees are arrogant, condescending, and do not know the first thing about customer service. ShootSoCal Firearms breaks the mold. The employees are pleasant, kind, patient, and extremely helpful. Today I brought in my shotgun for help with the seemingly stuck adjustment wheel on the rear ghost ring sights. The gentleman who helped me (I unfortunately failed to get his name) took the shotgun into the back and solved the problem in less than 10 minutes for no charge. He took my incompetence in stride and was very understanding. I will definitely return.

I went in today with a problem. They were so friendly. The fellow behind the counter looked at my receiver, diagnosed the problem and fixed it in about 5 minutes. Charged me a very fair price and gave me good advice to boot. Im coming back here from now on.

I found this place a couple months ago and it quickly became my go to. They have a better ammo selection than almost everyone, better prices, and a nice selection of guns when most shelves are empty. Dave has stopped what hes doing more than once to help me out. Extremely professional, Extremely knowledgeable. Dont waste your time going anywhere else!

Although perhaps not having a lot in stock (due to it being a cute little shop), it still had the exact firearm I wanted.The place was clean and neat, the staff there followed the COVID safety procedures, and the staff were friendly, patient, and made you feel welcome there, despite me being a nervous newbie.I look forward to doing more business with them in the future, especially after my 10 day waiting period. ^^

If you want to be cared for as a customer, you‘ve come to the right place. Check out their Instagram where they always post new things going on. Avoid the big chain stores like Turner’s.

First time here and there will be more visits in the future. The place was small but pretty well stocked with accessories and some ammo too. Dave was cool and easy going. Not crowed, did a PPT in less than 30 minutes! (DROS was 10 minutes, in and out in 30minutes)...9/19/20 back again for another PPT and same great service. Dave was on point and Stephanie was super cool!

I bought guns, ammo and accessories from ShootSoCal and Ive also took classes with them. You cant beat Dave and his crew. Everybody here is friendly and knowledge. They always have guns and ammo in stock which is quite unusual these days. They answer the phone and emails and they get back to you fast. Cant recommend them enough.

Ran across their web site while searching for local guns shops. I was looking for an AR 15 but did not want to spend too much on my first and they had a juggernaut jte 15 listed in their inventory at a reasonable price that had good reviews on quality . I visited and bought it. staff was very friendly and helpful with questions . very easy process to buy firearm assuming you have all your paper work.When I first visited, it was on a Wednesday in the morning and it was not busy when I was there. When picking it up it 10 days later, it was on a saturday and there was a line, it was a bit busy, but the staff did a great job in serving everyone with all their needs. I did not wait long for my turn. The man who seemed to be the owner or manager was walking by everyone in line answering peoples questions if they had any while the two young ladies were behind counter with customers, it was a good impression, they seem to care about their customers. I picked up my gun, but they did not have the ammo I needed, that is ok considering the skyrocket sales at the moment; even so, they have a good amount of firearms and supplies on their walls and counter.I am very happy with this shop, love my rifle, and I will be coming back to buy supplies and accessories for my rifle or when choosing my next firearm.

So glad I came across Dave via the Calguns website. He is very knowledgeable and accommodating and made the transfer as painless and as quick as possible - especially given what is going on at the moment. Dave is also a competition shooter, so talking during the transfer was very enjoyable and Im sure he can make anyone a better shooter. Even though Dave is a quite a drive away from me, I wouldnt hesitate going to him for all my future transfers (and thats saying a lot for LA driving!). Oh, and he sells ammo too!

I did an FFL transfer on some lower receivers and Dave was excellent to work with. His fees are reasonable, unlike some of the big outdoor supply store chains, and he genuinely wanted to help me find a good deal on the parts I was. I got a chance to see some of the Cerakote work that he does, and he really has a commitment to providing quality coatings. I work at a company that specializes in industrial coatings, and can say Dave definitely has the equipment and mindset to provide quality finished parts. ShootSoCal has quickly become my preferred FFL for transfers.
