First time customer. Bought some double cut pork chops and bone-in ribeye steaks. Both cuts of meat were exceptional. Cooked the double cut chops on my Traeger and the ribeyes on my Santa Maria grill using hickory wood. The meat was USDA Choice but was on par to Prime cuts that I have purchased from other high end butchers. Definitely coming back.

Best stuffed pork chops ANYWHERE! Today, due to a loose wire in my car, I fell in their parking lot. The butcher voluntarily put a bag of ice for me to put my hands on to help the pain and swelling. Great food, but, greater man than helped a stranger.

When in for some steaks. They had several cuts. Their prices were good and the meet fresh.

Gem Meats has the finest cuts of the highest grade of meats. This is not a cheap meat market. This is a high-end meat purveyor. I almost always get their bone-in ribeyes and ground beef. They have a small selection of seafood as well as a large selection of pork and deli meats and cheeses. They also offer some produce and dairy as a matter of convenience. Gem Meats has been a family staple in my life for more than 30 years!

Ordered our son a bunch of food for him to have for his birthday. Excellent selections, portions and price. I called in advance and they had ready for him to pick up.Only knock, they asked if I wanted fresh or frozen and I replied fresh. They gave him all frozen which is ok but why ask?

The guys over there are friendly and helpful, it takes me back to how butcher shops used to be. They even offered to season the meat I bought. I have been to this store many times now and get excited to go there every time. The meat is so tender and tasty and the service awesome, I cant recommend it highly enough.

I love coming here! Its old school style and takes me back to better times, where pride in your work and giving great customer service was the norm! Everything is displayed beautifully and the prices are great, as well as the selection! Our favorite is the meatloaf! 😁

I highly recommend this place, theyre experts and passionate about butchering. Incredibly nice, and you can find things you cant get anywhere else - dont blow (waste) money on overpriced whole foods. The whole team is also really nice and they have great customer service.

We have had consistent good quality meat and excellent customer service from Gem. They have cooked meat for our barbecues then we just pick it up. They will even cook chicken or what ever you want for you. It is a great source if you are doing a small dinner party or a large event they will make it happen and you will look like a star.

The best meat market around. I drive in from Riverside every year to get my prime rib for Christmas. Great quality.

Everyone I go to Gems the service is great and the meat is of the highest quality. The butchers are very helpful, I needed 20 pounds of pork butt cut off the bone and cubed and the guys did it without blinking an eye. I will continue to buy me meat and fish from Gems.

Great local butcher. Way better than any grocery store butcher. Old-time atmosphere, always incredible cuts of meat, and friendly, knowledgeable employees. Always ask for their recommendations on how to cook whatever cut you choose - youll never go wrong.

I have been going here for 20 years since college. Best Meats around and Half the price of El Toro Meats with the same friendly guys that have been there for years. Also try their beef jerky, it is a must for a snack on the way home.

I love this place. Their meatloaf mix is THE BEST. I order 3 pounds and always have leftovers for sandwiches. Also love their teriyaki beef kabobs and the chicken breasts. I cook the chicken breasts in the oven with a little olive oil, salt and pepper and they are always flavorful, nice and juicy. You can also call ahead and they will cook anything for you. I usually order a rotiesserie chicken and its always great. No need to wait in Costco lines for one. The guys that work there are awesome! Very knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommend this place.

I order my Ham Hocks from the guys every year, They are always friendly and helpful. My New Years Day dinner could not be done without them now for nearly 20 years. Thanks Gem Meats!

A co-worker recommend the Steaks from here. I order 2 Rib-Eyes and 2 New Yorks for a company Friday lunch BBQ. Home run! The REs I cut in half because they were thick and someone liked steaks well done (I prefer med/rare) the NYs I left alone. Extremely delicious, The REs are very soft and flavorful for a well done temp.Cant go wrong, if you got the balls stop by and pick some up!

I LOVE these guys. They are so attentive and personable. Hard to find in this day and age.I LOVE their ITALIAN sausages... but, there is an issue.They ARE SOOO DAMN SALTY.They would probably be perfect if you BOILED them. But who does that?I GRILL THEM.Indirect heat. As in, an oven. And they ARE SOOOOOOOOOOOOO DAMN SALTY.STUPID SALTY.CAN YOU GUYS FIX THIS?Your sausages are sooo much better than any other place, how-evah, THE ARE WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYY TOOOOOOO SALTY!!!Can yall fix this? They would be perfect if you could knock the salt down by around 90%.Seriously. One can always add salt. One CAN NOT TAKE SALT AWAY!!!!What are you guys thinking???
