This review is written on behalf of my mother. She took her Benz C250 2013 to the Placentia Firestone last year, and on 07/11/21 for an oil change. Prior to her last oil change in July, she took her car for a full checkup at the Mercedes dealership in May, 2021, and was given a clean bill of health. 11 days ago, she noticed oil leaking from the engine of her car. She took her car to a certified Benz mechanic, and he told her the leak was from a crack in the oil pan due to overspin on the screw (picture attached). He said that there was silicone applied at the screw (picture attached), which was suspect because the screw needs to be opened to drain the old oil. Why would anyone apply silicone there unless there was damage caused during the last oil change that someone was trying to hide? She was not notified of any problems when she had her oil changed at Firestone in July, 2021.She took her car back to Firestone, and they gave her an invoice to fix the car for $750--for a problem that was caused by Firestone. She demanded they fix it for free as the problem was caused by Firestone. Then the manager at Firestone, Robyn Joseph, said the invoice previously given to her (picture attached) could not be honored as they needed to acquire the part (oil pan), and it would cost more due to them having to order the part. My mother asked for an update, Robyn Joseph never called. When she called him to follow up, he said they dont even offer that service and she would need to go elsewhere! Why is Firestone issuing an invoice for a service they dont provide? A quote to fix the car was obtained from a certified mechanic (third party) for $2,000, and Firestone is refusing to fix or pay for any portion of it. They have completely shirked all responsibility after damaging an expensive engine part. There has been no apology or attempt to make the situation right. Meanwhile, my mother is stuck with a $2,000 bill if she doesnt want to drive around with her engine oil leaking.

Sent my Toyota camry for Lifetime alignment, and they remove 2 nuts from my front Strut and they claimed they are missing, you cannot drive the car is totally unsafe and they cannot do alignment, unless they replace them with 2 new bolts and nuts for $120These bolts don’t fell or come out of a car by themselves or because of any kind of driving even if you drive off road, these bolts are 22mm and torqued at high torque. Only a mechanic with powerful impact gun can get them off.The missing nuts cost at Toyota website $6.60 each, so when I argue with them about the cost they said ok will charge you 1 bolts and will give the other one free, but they charged me $30 to remove the bolts of one wheel and put it back.These are totally dishonest people!!

I called & spoke to Giovanny @ around 10:30. I asked if they were busy because my tire, under warranty, has a nail in it so I need it repaired or replaced. He said no they weren’t busy & I could bring it in. I got there at 11:10. I WAITED UNTIL 12:30 BEFORE ASKING HOW MUCH LONGER. I WAS TOLD I WAS NEXT. A man came in and insisted that the tire he’d ordered be put on right away because he had to get back to work. They accommodated him. I seen the tech that had just changed that mans tire leave and come back with his lunch. MY CAR HAD STILL NOT EVEN BE LOOKED AT WHEN I FINALLY ASKED FOR MY KEYS BACK AT 1:22. I wasted over TWO HOURS of my life waiting for a simple tire repair or replacement and this Firestone miserably FAILED. What upsets me the most is that “Giovanny” was aware that I’m leaving to drive out of state tomorrow and still have to get my car to a auto shop check out a airbag light that’s on before the trip but that has to wait because NOW I’M AT A PEP BOYS waiting for them to fix my tire. I should’ve came to PEP BOYS in the first place!!

I have a 2001 Toyota Camry and I went in at 11am and told them from head to toe what I’ve done to the car already retaining to an air leak, and that it still has a hiccup problem while driving. They said it was because of spark plugs ? Me being in a hurry to drive out of state by 3pm the same day I said ok and they worked on it. SIX HOURS LATER, which wouldn’t have been a problem, IF THE PROBLEM WAS FIXED. I get in the car only for the issue to be worse and the manager (small black guy) had attitude and didn’t believe me and had to drive the car himself. Then him and every other mechanic began to ignore me because I was right. I got told they were just going to refund me the $218.00 and I asked if they could at least identify where the leak was coming from but they said “we aren’t here to chase ghost all day” it’s a twenty plus year old car and no one could identify where the air leak was coming from. Sad how they can call themselves mechanics.

Called ahead, was told they could get me in. Have car towed there to find out that I would have to wait overnight. Explained that I lived well over an hour away, and that I was told they could get it done today, they didnt care. Had to pay for another tow. So much for my lifetime warranty, they clearly dont care about their customers. Said they only had two mechanics, I saw at least 6 guys there.

I dont normally give out ratings, but this time I had to. Called on the phone to schedule an Appointment for 2:30; however, upon arrival they could not find my reservation, so I rescheduled for the following day. Upon my return on the day following I was quoted a price higher than the previous day. Service was alright for a Firestone complete Auto Care. However, other locations display better professionalism than this one.

What a terrible location.I arrived for my 8am confirmed location for the store manager to the me he wont get to it until 10:30am.The shop has 1 vehicle in the bay and 3 techs slugging around to start their day.No customers on the lot. They just dont want to perform the lifetime alignment because the shop wont make money off their national offer.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. We called and they notified that they were open until 6 PM and we got there at five. Before arriving we made sure it was OK to get our oil change. After getting there he had a horrible attitude and he treated us as if we were a burden being there. He was extremely rude so we left. We went to Valvoline Instead to get an oil change and their customer service was amazing. They are friendly we are only here for 10 minutes and I will never ever go to fire stone again.

Love coming to this location simply because of James. I used to go to the Brea location and when I heard he moved closer to my home I was more than happy to switch.I called yesterday and spoke to William on the phone to make an appointment for an oil change service today. He gave me hours available not keeping in mind that they are short staffed. So i came in for my 1:30 appointment to be waiting 1:30 hours for the change while my car hasnt been touched yet. I had asked James what the wait was for since I made the appointment. Long story short, he apologized for the miscommunication on their end and he would expedite the service. A half hour later my car was done and he also took care of the service! James will always take care of clients! Thanks again!

Im really not sure where all the bad reviews are coming from. Ive taken my car here for the past year and I am always very happy with the work and the quality of customer care. Ive met Manny in particular a couple times and he has great customer service. My car is always completed pretty fast and I do not feel they overcharge like other places. I will continue to bring my car here.

Firestone is a consistently good car maintenance organization. Yes, you pay a premium but they are always ready to fix any warranty issue that may arise and they don’t push unneeded products or services on you. They’ll try to up sell, but that’s every sales persons job, right? A waiter would ask you if you ordered scotch rocks “would you like the well or white label, chivas or Johnny Walker red/black/blue?” That’s upselling no one complains about.In this store in Fullerton, Leo is the main man. He gets you what you ask for and is always going above and beyond. So ask for Leo and you’re set.I’ve had the lifetime warranty for alignment since 2004 on a 2003 car (we buy) we use for Home Depot runs...and I’ve received 2 or 3 alignments each year. Just did the same for another newly purchased car, albeit the price has gone from $100 to $175...worth every penny, but you need to use the service.If you want cheap, go to the corner store, hucksters at American or Discount, they’ll start out cheaper and by the time you’re done, you need a seat donut. If you want quality products and services that are nationwide, Firestone is your place. You will have peace of mind regardless of where life takes you. Isn’t that worth a few percentage points more once every 2 or three years? Or every 6 months if you get the lifetime alignment.

I have had two experiences with Firstone in Fullerton. Took in my car to patch a tire, which they said I could not repair and suggested I buy a new tire from them. They put on the spare for free and were ok with me getting a second opinion. When I took it to a family friends repair shop they said the same thing. I was glad they put on the spare free of charge.So when my girlfriend had a flat, I took it to Firestone to get patched. This time they didnt try to patch it. Just told me I needed a new tire and when I said I needed a second opinion, they just were very persistent to make the sale. Turns out a new tire wasnt needed, and the part that was frustrating is Firestone didnt even try to help me by fixing it. Would have appreciated if they took time out of their day to find out, if it needed a tire I would have bought it through them. But trying to make the sale without trying isnt right. I guess it depends on whos behind the counter, Ive had one good experience and one bad.

I have been in 3 fire stones so far . can say this one has the highest quality so far. Consider it is probably 30% more expensive in comparison with other car repairs but it is a piece of mind to have the warranty for delicate repairs

Leo is epic!!! I got an oil change and brake light fixed. He said an hour and a half and I was fine with that due to a del taco being right next door. Cable was finished 45 minutes. Enough said. Super friendly service too!!! I will make this my home firestone, even though there are 5 firestones closer to me. Love this place

I usually never write reviews, but after this place screwed me over I had to write something. I got an oil change at this Firestone location and I noticed they cracked my key fob. The crack eventually widened from me using the key. The key fob came apart and the key itself fell out of the key fob. I called this location to ask if they could fix it and they said they dont do that. I told them that it was their fault because they cracked the key fob so it was only right that they replace it. They tried to blame it on me saying that I probably broke it myself and that I was trying to blame it on them so that they would pay for it. I told them the key is going to cost $155 to replace and thats why they need to fix their mistake. They still refused and therefore Im never going back to this Firestone location and dont suggest it to anyone.

I took my car to get serviced and a guy named “Chris” helped me out at the counter. Initially he was fine with me. I ended waiting for my vehicle and witnessed Chris treat two customers with utter disrespect.The first was an elder gentleman. I did my best to mind my own business, by keeping my mouth shut. I couldn’t help to hear the way Chris talked to him and it was just flat out wrong, not just b/c he was customer, but b/c he was a human being. Just disgusting!Shortly after the elderly gentlemen left, a lady came in telling Chris, “I brought my car in to get an oil change and now my AC has problems.” She stated to Chris, “You Guys are a fraud! You want me to get additional service when my AC was working perfectly normal!” She had her husband there so I did my best to tune out, thinking he would handle Chris. Chris crossed the line multiple times with his tone and his choice of words. I had to walk out of the waiting area to avoid hearing how Chris was treating her.Shortly after that, I was told my vehicle was finished. Chris started to go through my service and started to make snarky comments. He then became very argumentative with me on the service of my vehicle over “Non-Factual” items or his “opinion.” I told him I wasn’t about to argue with him and won’t be treated like you treated the previous two customers. (Of course he was like, “what do you mean?”) I took off my sunglasses and looked in his eyes and said you need to learn how to treat people and customers. This Clown (Chris) got quiet and said, “I’m just going to get your keys in the garage!” I waited for my keys, said nothing to the Clown and left. Had so much more to say, but just went on my way.....All and All Chris is just flat out “Unprofessionaland and Heartless” And doesn’t dersrve to be in customer services. He doesn’t know how to deal with people.If your thinking of taking your vehicle to the FIrestone in Placentia location and Chris is there. Do yourself and your Vehicle a favor and walk right out of the store.Description of Chris: 5’-9ish”; short-hair, beard; FAT; and shows his nasty tattoos on his chest through his collar.

Worst customer service ever. My wife spent $2,500 on new struts and tires and they didnt even replace her hubcap correctly. It fell off while driving home. They said they would order a new one and that it would be in on Monday. By Thursday she still had not received a call that it had arrived. They then told her to come in at 10am in Friday and STILL was not there even though they told Her when to come in!!!! They then tried giving her a different hubcap that didnt even fit and told her to put in on herself!! Worst customer service she has ever experienced and we will NEVER be going back. STAY AWAY from this place!!!

Car started having clicking sound right next day after service.Now when I want them to take look at it, theyre going to charge $30 for noise diagnostic fee before even looking at the car. Theyre not ready check the car w/o fees even though noise started only after they performed the service.I am never going to this place again.

This is my first critical review I’ve given of a company, but I thought you should all know; DO NOT GO TO FIRESTONE!I got an oil change from them last year (which was pretty overpriced). After waiting an hour, I saw an employee looking worried and talking to the sleazy salesman manager/supervisor.The supervisor then came out and told me a lie that when they were removing my oil plug, all the threading pieces fell out and oil fell out and the inside of the chamber was entirely smooth.Um, my car was bought 6 months before, and I had driven it everywhere, with no report of the plug ‘falling out’.The supervisor said “your last guy probably messed it up, but don’t worry, we shoved a big plug into the chamber to keep the oil in there for now”.He also added, After charging me, “by the way, your oil was as gold as brandy, you didn’t need an oil change”.My father in law, who is a mechanic (but was not available to change my oil at the time), looked at it and said that what most likely happened was that the mechanic at Firestone used a machine to remove/unscrew the plug, but was Lazy and pushed it to rotate in the incorrect direction, which smoothed out the inside of the chamber, so the plug could no longer screw into it.I went back to my dealer where I bought the car (the last person to change the oil) and they were able to prove that they sold the car to me with a normal oil chamber.I notified Firestone several times, before finally paying $698 to get my entire chamber fixed.So, all I can say is NEVER, EVER GO TO FIRESTONE!! THEY ARE LIARS, SCHEMERS, AND SLEAZY!

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. My 57 year old, disabled mom had a flat tire and had no lug wrench. She asked for help, and was denied, their reason being that their mechanics were uncomfortable loaning her a tool.this was on a Sunday afternoon in 85-90 degree heat. This place is so full of it didnt know why I even stopped here....I went to get a new tire for my car and the price was over the top for one tire and when I asked if they can help me put my spare tire on so I can go somewhere else he said its going to be 10 dollars plus a 2 hour wait.....Really to help me change my spare tire 2 hours I looked at the guy and just left by the way the tire he was trying to sale me was not even in stock smh never again..so I just went over to ALLEN TIRE COMPANY across the street and they took way better care of me there so just a heads up

My skid plate under the vehicle was detached. It was scraping everywhere I drive and when make sharp turns. Loud, annoying, it had to be fixed as soon as possible. Firestone took in my vehicle and fixed it at no cost... NO COST. That is quality service!

Every time she took it in I could swear we were getting ripped off. Today, after getting quoted $700- for a break job, $500 to do the bare minimum, I told them we were gonna take it somewhere else. The other place told me that it would only be $265-. So long Firestone.....
