So Monzón is neighborhood business I would like to support. Brought Cadillac in for oil change. Tells me I had bad wiper blades so he changed them and charged me. My wiper blades are less than 90 days old and Cadillac factory blades. So I ask him to put the good blades back on. Then I get a CHECK WASHER FLUID alarm on dashboard. Called joe at Monzón and he told me he did nothing to cause such behavior. Drove to Simpson Cadillac. They refilled reservoir and all is good. Monzon knows nothing from Cadillacs. Radiator cap is different from washer fluid cap. Monzon should know this with 50 years experience. The Simpson Cadillac folks did not charge me a dime for fixing the problem Monzón created. AND the regular price for same oil change at Cadillac dealer is almost $30 cheaper than at Monzón. My oil change at Cadillac is 39. Monzón was over $60. And without wiper problems after Cadillac oil change. Stick with Cadillac dealer for reliable service. Forget these guys trying to jam you with wiper blades. I worked in a gas station as a kid and I know the drill. Plus the caddy dealer washes your car. Service quality and price sends me back to dealer. Stay away from Monzón.

I dropped a tool into my engine compartment and Joe was very helpful over the phone and they were able to find and remove the tool in minutes and helped me replace my air filter. I will definitely be going back.

Although my first impressions were good, sadly I was wrong. Tried to sell me parts I don’t need. If you have a car with points and condenser, this place is for you. If you have a car with a computer, keep looking. Everyone is very nice, but nice does not fix cars.

Took a ‘94 4Runner there with major problems. These guys rebuilt half of the engine and while apart, changed some other parts that might fail in the future. They found many problems which took them to a special welder, a radiator shop, a parts place in LA, and Whittier, etc... many issues and I didn’t hear about any of it- they just handled it all. So so happy with their service and I trust them to keep all my old Toyotas on the road. Quality repairs, caring crew, never nickel and diming for stuff, always fair.
