Ive had some oil changes done on two of my cars. Excellent customer service. John is very kind and understanding. We needed an alternator replaced. John was able to get me a great deal. I would recommend going to have services done here to anyone I know.

Just got my tire fixed after ending up with a screw lodged in it. In addition, asked for them to do a tire rotation and balancing, and now my car is driving so smoothly. On top of that, the kind people at Golden West Tire didnt charge me a dime. Thank you Golden West, I will definitely be bookmarking you for future car service needs.

Nice guy.20 to fix my flat its not free. Other places do it for less but they where the closest.

Don’t waste your time coming here. Came in on a Tuesday looking for new wheels and tires and he couldn’t tell me what was available. Was told he will call me with what he had on special. Got a call back on Friday... I ended up going to America’s Tire across the street and they were able to get me exactly what I was looking for. Ordered everything that day and my new set of wheels and tires arrived the next day. I also was able get a 1000 credit from them with zero APR for 6 months. Ended up spending 1,900 and couldn’t be happier

I had my tire repaired at this station for $12 just last week. Had a screw in it. I sent my daughter to this station for the same condition. They charged her $20. I call them up and asked why they charged her more. He said” It’s always $20”. Asked him why he charged me $12 last week. Leaves me to believe price change in a week, sexiest. How’s that work ?? Beware !!

Went here one time got 2 front tires and alignment on ford flex. Tires went bald in 8 months where tires I replaced lasted over 2 years. Actually drove less miles with new tires.bought tired in 2016 but discovered were manufactured in 2014. I truly believe I was sold retreads. No reason spend over 500 dollars for 2 tires and alignment and have to get new tires 8 months later

Had the pleasure and displeasure of being serviced by this company. The main thing is that you never know what your going to get; great service, timely service or not. Its a crap shoot. Ive never been quite sure about the trust and yet I went back for more service as I couldnt find better. Im glad Ive found better and dont have to put up with what might be or might not be good service.

Ive been going coming to Goldenwest Tires for many years and I always get Superior customer service from John and Rob. Good suggestions, good tires, free rotations and better prices than I would get at a dealership. I trust them to do whats in my best interest.

My boyfriends car was freaking out while we were here on vacation, and we stumbled across this place. They found the problem right away, and told us they could order the part for us. When we called around to other places, they wanted to charge us more than twice as much as Golden West. Their customer service was excellent, and everyone we talked to was friendly as ever :) I would definitely recommend this place!

I was running late to work because of a flat, Sergio greeted me with excellent customer service super cool dude try to accodomate me as best as he can, he informed that my tire size wasnt in stock but he recommended across the street cause he knew i was on a time limit but then Marcos came and ran to me just as i was pulling out and said he found one of my size, got done in about 20 minutes maybe less lol just thought it was worth a review!!!! Thanks guys! Ill be coming here now

I purchased a deal on an oil change through Google for this shop. I called one day to see if I could come in at 2 p.m. but he insisted that he is too busy after 11 a.m. EVERY DAY and that I should come in before then. Im assuming he is saying this because I mentioned that I had this deal to use.So, I took what I could get and decided to come in 30 minutes after they opened. It took 15-20 minutes just to be acknowledged by the owner, John Mekenian, because he was busy socializing with some people in the shop.Okay well, when he finally introduced himself, I told him I was the coupon guy here for my oil change. He grudgingly accepted my keys and told me that it was a 1.5 hour wait.I made it clear that I would like no extra inspection of my vehicle, or any free check of any kind, because I had just driven my car out of my mechanics shop 2 days ago after having my brake kit and caps, timing belt, hoses, transmission fluid, and many other parts fixed, replaced, or flushed. The point is that my car was in perfect running condition and I was a witness to the installation of all these parts, and do have the receipt to prove it.So, let me get this straight, a 1.5 hour wait with only 1 other car there ahead of me?And the mechanic on duty was not working on it for some reason (he was definitely not waiting on parts because he began working on it again 40 minutes after I arrived).So, after an hour of waiting at this shop, I decided to walk to the bank, a block away, and manage my accounts. After coming back from the bank, and it being 1.75 hours after I gave up my keys, I saw that my tires were off of my car.I walked up to my car, at which point the owner hurriedly came out of the office (I wonder why) and over to the shop to explain to me that my brake fluid cap in the right rear tire had been broken and leaking for quite some time. He told me they could fix it in 10 minutes for $100 flat including my oil change fees.ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!I quietly asked him to put my tires back on and give me my keys if the oil change had been done. He told me it would be $9 for the oil change fees, which was a lie, since on the form itself it shows that the maximum fees that could be charged are $2.99 + tax (no more than $3). I cant explain how much of a sleazy thief the owner is, but i hope these examples are bringing it home for you readers out there.Needless to say, I took my car back to my mechanic and had a full check up, and it seems that a blunt force, and not one that a car could cause because of its direction, was the cause of the brake cap breaking.My mechanic also informed me that the oil change was not done on my car. And 2 weeks later, cue the Service Engine sign on my car.This shop is shady and the owner is a thief. After compiling the statements of my mechanic and an independent Firestone mechanic who inspected my brake cap damage, I called John to ask him for his statement but he feigned being surprised and followed it with immediate anger. I asked him why he took my tires off if I had asked him not to, and he responded, I just did the oil change!TOO LONG DIDNT READ?:The owner here is a thief who, allegedly, broke my right rear tires brake fluid cap after I just had it replaced two days earlier by my preferred mechanic at his shop. I came in with a coupon for an oil change and left with $9 less in my pocket, a broken fluid cap, and no oil change even though the owner, John Mekenian, said he had done it.

Been getting tires from John over at Goldenwest Tires for over 18 years. Just got tires from him last week, and hes one of the few tire shops around that can align a Dually 1 ton truck. he also does all kinds of mechanical repairs, ive had drive shaft rebuilt/replaced, Timing chain done, oil changes and a brand new rear solid axle installed on the rear of my Monte. I dont even live near Fullerton anymore but hes one of the few guys in the industry I trust. Hes been around over 40 years, and a lead mechanic whos been around 32 years, hes the only shop to survive in that area for that length of time, to me that says alot about him and the way he conducts buisness. 5 stars

DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE AT ALL, how the hell they still in business is beyond me! Look at all the fake 5 stars review down there! F this place!They did my brake job, and my brake was all Fked up, squeaking like crazy. Told me its normal and it will go away. I had to take it to another mechanic and was told whoever did the last brake job doesnt know crap, no lube on the brake parts at all, and didnt even bother with cleaning it. F this place! and screw the dishonest person Ron!

NEVER BUY ANYTHING AT GOLDENWEST TIRE FULLERTON!John, the owner ordered the wrong brake rotors for my car, they were too small in diameter, his mechanic installed them, Only 3/4 of the brake pad touched the rotor. About 8500 miles later my car threw a traction control code, while another mechanic was working on that he found the car had the WRONG F-N ROTORS!I went to John he has known me for years, but was not man enough to accept responsibility.SO i will be sueing him in small claims court.

This is what we call the family car place lol we all take our cars here, and my dad has been going here since i was a kid.
