I overpaid for a few reasons. 1) being that i got my car back with a check engine light on, an exhaust leak and needing a new transmission mount because apparently my car shakes when going into first gear not because they installed it wrong but because i need a new transmission mount. Btw before dropping off my car at 281 it did not have any of those problems. ‘16 mustang GT btw. 2)i was told it would be a 1 day job it ended up being much longer than that. (7/14/2020 i made the deal & the downpayment. I didnt get my car until 8/17/2020) 3) i was on multiple occasions not called back and neglected also i was made to feel like i was the nuisance especially when i was told by jason the owner that he does not have the space for my car. I paid $2,700 to be treated like a nuisance and also to get my car back in a worse condition than when i brought it in. I wanted to get a refund at one point but 281 keeps 20% or no refund upon their discretion. Also i was shocked after doing some research on 281. I have a feeling this used to be a great shop but not anymore for whatever reason. Nonetheless google 281 motorsports and see what google suggests. I wish i can post in detail and by date everything that happened but there is a character cap. Btw whole time i was never hostile always calm and collected every time i spoke with them at 281. Btw 100% true intended not to slander but to inform.

I have a12 f150 with the 5.0 dreaded tapping and I need someone to help me find the problem. Ford just wants to replace the motor, it runs perfect no cel but taps loud at idle. Can you guys help with this?

So i brought my mustang to Jason’s shop for a transmission rebuild, brake caliper replacement new clutch, cables, the works. Everything was making noise when it went in. Already not very trusting of mechanics. It took a while before i saw my mustang again but i was patient and after a few thousand dollars that i did not have to spend on this. I got my car back but the only problem was the brakes still had a squeak.. he told me the noises would go away after 50 miles or so.. the transmission throwout bearing went bad on me within a week.. the caliper noise never left. I called and let him know and says “bring it back in it’s under warranty” the 2 mins later calls back and says it’s not.. bottom line never do business with someone you don’t do research on. Apparently customers aren’t the only people Jason takes advantage of

About a year ago maybe long I contacted Team 281 about a lower valance screen to cover the opening on my 06 Saleen. I must say I am pleased with the product and love the way it looks on my car.

Called and asked about having some mods done to my car..intake, throttle body exhaust etc..... was asked what brand headers, I said BBk 281 motorsports said nope we wont install because BBk suck blah blah blah blah blah. So glad they didnt want my business, saved me from a potential headache dealing with these guys so for that I give them 5 stars. If you have top dollar parts $$$$$$ take your car to 281 Im sure they will do a fantastic job for you but if you are a working man and cant pay $2000 for headers save your time and go else where. Just received my bbk headers today and I must say Im disappointed. Its not what I was expecting from bbk. My foxbody has great stuff from bbk but apparently that is not the case now. I apologize to 281. Im now going with some Krona headers.Thanks 281
