I was extremely impressed with their gluten free cupcakes. The lemon was my favorite! They have free samples which was a great way to try the different varieties. The brownie cupcake had the same consistency as a real brownie. It’s chewy and moist, not what I expected from a gluten free brownie! As a mom with a gluten intolerance and kiddos who eat gluten and dairy free, I will DEFINITELY be here more often!

One of the best bakeries Ive ever been to, but everything is gluten free! Most are vegan as well. I cant express how delicious their cupcakes are. Youd never guess they were GF! Unrefined did an incredible job on my custom Harry Potter birthday cake!! My girlfriend ordered it about a month before my bday, and they didn’t forget about it. They made sure it was exactly what we wanted, and the end product was delicious and beautiful. I love the healthier ingredients they use too. We love Unrefined!!

The most delicious and guilt free treats ever. I suffer from IBS digestion issues and normally can’t dine out, but at Unrefined I can eat anything I like and don’t have to worry about how I will feel after because the ingredients are so clean! I would match their goods with any conventional bakery any day. Their gluten free cupcakes are the best ever and now they have cake by the slice! The snack/party mix is to die for! They also make great sandwiches and lattes. Several locations around Dallas and they ship! Customer for life.

A google review that is far over due. This has been my new go-to place for all things unrefined. Ive had so many of their vegan/gluten free donuts, but yesterday I had my new favorite, the Loaded Monkey. Good lord it was freaking amazing. The mix of banana, peanut butter and chocolate chips....I need another one ASAP. Not only am I vegan, but my son has dietarty restriction and I love that Unrefined in a place I know that we can come to and their treats meet all of his needs. Weve ordered their heart shaped valentines day cookies and have ordered a birthday cake as well. Ive tried their lattes too and they have always been good! The customer service is also always great. I favor the Frisco location but Ive passed by the two Dallas locations so I look forward to visiting there one day soon.

My sister and I love Unrefined Bakery! She has celiac disease while I have a soy and yeast allergy. This is the only place we can eat and feel fully confident about the food we are eating. Not only is the food safe for people with allergens and sensitivities, everything here tastes wonderful! My favorite cupcake is the vegan chocolate cupcake!

I LOVE this place. They have Gluten Free, Paleo and Keto-friendly foods like cupcakes, cookies, sandwiches, coffee cakes, and pies. They have the regular versions too... And they all taste amazing. Their coffee is delicious. I can eat here without feeling guilty. They have whole pies and cakes you can buy, as well as Keto or Paleo muffins and loaves of bread. And the best part is the Cake of the Month / Cupcake of the week. Rotating flavors keep things interesting and addictive. Id give this place 10 stars if I could. Like them on Facebook- they post the Cake of the Month and Cupcake of the Week on there, and do quite a few giveaways.

If you suffer from gluten and other food allergies, this place is a good find. Everything (yes) in the store is gluten free. Beautiful cakes, for picking or to custom order. Lots of vegan and natural grain items as well. And great coffee on the spot. Just be prepared for the high price these rare items bring.

My son has allergies and this is the only place I can get the bakery items for my son during his birthday or any other event where it needs a cake and I always feel that this is a lifesaver for my son whenever hes craving for a cake

My sister is gluten sensitive so every time I go to Lubbock to see her I bring her some gluten-free items from various places I find in DFW. Once I found Unrefined, I stopped looking around. My sister loves and requests their 5 Grain Bread (it toasts very nicely BTW), cinnamon rolls, and snack mix.

He went through all the vegan options available and had no problem warming up the cupcakes I purchased.Overall, I highly recommend this location!

Dream destination for anyone with allergies or food sensitivities!Any allergy, theyve got something for it. Even their gluten dairy egg and soy free cake is amazing. I have no idea how they do it but come of it is even better than normal cake. My wife is the one with allergies but I sneak a bite ever so often ;)Prices are a little high but its worth it for an occasional tasty treat.

It is great to have a dedicated gluten free bakery available. Many items are very good with a decent texture for GF! The unbuttercream is probably the highlight as some things are still just so heavy.

If you have any sort of gluten allergy and you think your life is over, ITS NOT!! This will be your favorite place and then you can thank me later. Visited the first time today. There are not a lot of selections but Im glad they have samples to try. I got carrot cupcake, chocolate cupcake and lemon cupcake for my family. My husband and two kids dont eat carrot cake but they ended up like the carrot cake than other two flavors because it is more moist and less sweet. They are a little pricy ($4/piece) but I do support the local business and they are healier treats. Will come back again to try their pies they look delicious.. ..

The staff was very rude. I actually read this on other reviews but decided to give it a try anyway. The reviews were correct. Drove from. McKinney to Frisco to try their food. The Paleo cookie and cup cakes were disgusting. I also got a regular cookie for my kids. It tasted like dirt. Ive been driving to Richardson for the nearest vegan bakery and was hoping to find a closer spot. Dont waste ur time.

First of all, the cupcakes were really dry. Secondly, the guy was super dismissive and just wanted you to hurry up and order, didn’t even try and offer suggestions or recommendations other than to say what was sold out. I wouldn’t go back, ever. There are way better cupcakes at other places.

I am genuinely getting on here b/c of the Best Cupcakes my Husband & I have ever had! Unrefineds PB&J (vegan? shoot/cant remember) cupcake is Divine Perfection. Yes, we Love the pizza crusts, cookies, & other goodies, but this cupcake is worth weighing weekly options over. WOW. Perfectly Incredible, Edible Art, Unrefined Bakery!

I practically live here- I always think they deserve 6 out of 5. We got a cake from here for our wedding. We got a triple layer, banana chocolate chip cake with chocolate ganache, and let me tell you, I wish I had brought some to eat on the plane on the way to the honeymoon.Some of the most delicious cake I’ve ever eaten!

This bakery has delicious cakes, but the Owner Ann is very aggressive and hostile. I had the misfortune of ordering a cake during a period of turnover, resignations of cake decorators, and shuffling of employees. My cake order was started by one employee, and should have had a follow up by him. Instead the owner contacted me after demoting the manager who initially assisted me. She was highly aggressive, and cocky at the start of the conversation. I asked for a PlayStation cake, and she did not relay the correct information to the decorator. I was given an Xbox cake cake, and when I asked for the correction to be made she said I needed to pay more money. I shouldn’t be asked to pay to make corrections to a mistake which was not my fault. The employees were more than happy to make the correction, but the owner objected. She spent more time on the phone being rude, and sarcastic. She apologized by saying “ I’m sorry we couldn’t please you. I hope you find a new bakery that makes cakes to your satisfaction.” I’ve been patronizing this business since 2012 in Dallas. This woman seems angry, and unhappy. I guess that makes two of us. My son wanted a PlayStation cake, and I paid for something I never requested. Also when I went to pick up my cake, the order form was “missing”. The staff who assisted me were confused as to why. I can only speculate. Any who. This bakery is great, but one of the Owners has too much pride, and arrogance. I would like a refund, but I was told they would scrape the cake and resell it. My son wouldn’t have a cake so I’m stuck. He has severe food allergies, so my options are slim.

This place is a lifesaver if youre on a restricted diet! The food & treats weve had from here are really good and much better than when I try to make bread/desserts at home following a restricted diet lol. Plus I didnt have to cook/bake it! Its not expensive, but yes youll pay more than junk-filled unhealthy alternatives because healthy, quality, diet-compliant ingredients cost more.

Love this place for healthier options to satisfy my occasional sweet tooth. I love the vegan banana bread muffins because theyre so moist even after being nuked. I buy a six pack from the frozen section and nuke them for a minute straight from the freezer... DELICIOUS! And the vegan chocolate muffin tastes like regular chocolate cake so you dont feel like youre sacrificing healthy eating for good flavor.

The best gluten free/nut free/vegan/egg free cupcakes you can get in DFW. Even just a classic vanilla is to die for. I don’t go here regularly but have often for friends or family who were upset that they couldn’t get a good GF cake for their birthday. I’ll bring them some of these cupcakes and they’re ecstatic!

I found this bakery via a Google search because I’m trying to eliminate gluten from my diet. My daughter and I tried the chocolate cupcake and it didn’t disappoint. It was very moist and the icing was good, I’ve found a new bakery and will definitely be a repeat customer.

Amazing texture and flavor for a gluten free, dairy free cupcake fan!!!This bakery has a fun, modern vibe with friendly staff to boot! Hannah was super-helpful in making suggestions for us to try. By the way, this place was packed during our visit in December - and with good reason.My favorite cupcake flavor was the lemon. The cake had a soft, light texture that I have never been able to achieve in my personal experiments with g-free, d-free baking. It also had the perfect balance of sweet to tartness with a very lemon-y taste.We took these to a wedding reception so that those who couldnt have the wedding cake could still share in the festivities. Thanks for providing a way for us to enjoy baked goodies with friends and loved ones - a seemingly small thing, but it is HUGE for us!P.S. I should add that the sugar free pecan pie was also enjoyed later by a family member who is diabetic. Great for the holidays!!!

First time at this bakery and I had an incredible experience. Julie was professional, knowledgeable, welcoming, and patient. I have one sister who is vegan and another sister who’s diabetic. It was my sisters birthday and new to this vegan thing and she loved their chocolate cupcake recommend by Julie. Julie also went the extra mile to point out the Keto cupcakes to my sister who is diabetic. My sister was ecstatic about her cupcake since she hasn’t had a treat like that in about 10 years due to her being diabetic. We were all satisfied with the cupcakes. Thank you soo much, Julie. The iced coffee was delicious too. We will be back!

Such a delicious treat for my gluten free belly. I spent way too much money but enjoyed every bite. They also cater to other common allergies like corn with everything clearly marked. We got sandwiches and desserts, my husband loves his gluten but very much enjoyed the cupcakes. There were samples on the counter which convinced him to get his own treat. They also have all kinds of delicious looking snacks and breads on the wall which I didnt try.

The staff is super friendly and helpful. Its a small little shop with a homey feel. There were no prices on the menu, which is ok, but unexpected. Overall good place.

The folks here are super nice and very customer service oriented. I walked in right at closing last night and was not only helped, as did a few other patrons—nobody was rushed along, but instead I watched them give great personal attention to each customer, helpful tips (theyre incredibly knowledgeable about their product), and personalized suggestions. Its always nice to see places where customer service isnt dead, and their food is also very good compared to other allergen-sensitive options. Keep up the good work, yall!

They will customize anything for people with food allergies. Everything is listed with all the ingredients. They cater to pretty much everyone. As you can see in the pictures, they are also wheelchair accessible. Cupcakes, cookies, smoothies and sandwiches are pretty much what they serve, but their fridges have full cakes ready to go, as well as brownies and pies. Love it!

I want to support this company because of their alternative offerings and I do love their Mix (which I first discovered at Eatzis) but I ordered a cake the other day for my sons birthday and was disappointed. I did request for it to be dairy free as well but the result was a very chalky tasting cake with grainy raspberry frosting filling. There were bits of crunch somewhere but I could not figure out if it was the cake or filling. There were no obvious seeds to be seen. The kids love cake and they left theirs a majority unfinished. And who knows, maybe thats the best I can expect with a dairy free cake?

Googled and found this bakery that makes homemade Keto Bread; I wanted to get a loaf as a gift for my Sr. Operations Manager and I know NOTHING about Keto! Well, their website is VERY informative and helpful, with awesome pictures and descriptions, so I decided to give them a try! The store is in a convenient, thriving location in NW Plano near my Frisco office amongst many of my favorites places to eat, visit, and patronize! The young lady that assisted me was polite, friendly, informative, and patient.... It made me want to sample everything! Although I was making a quick trip for a very specific need, I plan on going back when Im not rushed so that I can treat myself next time! 👍🏻😁

My mother and I came in for iced coffees this weekend while out shopping. The drinks were absolutely delicious, as well as the pastries we selected! Although no one was particularly rude, some of the staff could use a little more pep in their step. An actual smile would make it seem as though they enjoy their job and want to be there, which would really make the overall experience a little more enjoyable... but thats a minor detail for me as long as the product is excellent, which it is!!!

Ordered a 9 inch round keto-friendly birthday cake. It was decorated fine, but the cake and icing were terrible. We could not even eat it...kids and the adults. We literally threw it all away. It had a terrible aftertaste, one kid thought that they were having an allergic reaction. It was so bad and were not that picky. It was also $70... unreal! Never again!

Just happened to come across this little bakery after having lunch with my family. How glad we are to have seen it! The baked goods were delicious. And we got fantastic service! The person attending us was happy to show us the list of ingredients and answer any questions. Will return for birthdays and holidays :)

Didnt feel like a friendly environment,Bad customer service(towards POC),and horrible cupcakes,they tasted gritty,like dirt and were flavorless. It was a waste of money. If you are vegan or gluten free you are better off going somewhere else or baking your own cupcake at home. My daughter got diagnosed with celiac disease this year, so this was my first year having to order from a gluten free bakery for her birthday cupcakes. I have had many MANY gluten free products over the last five months that she has been diagnosed, cakes, breads, cupcakes, cookies, etc., and they were all good, so I decided to order the gluten free cupcakes from unrefined bakery for her birthday. We got 50 cupcakes and spent $200 dollars. They were absolutely terrible, literally every child and almost every parent hated them. I made a better gluten free cake, three days prior, and I should have done it for the party instead of trying to do it the easy way. Complete waste of money, very disappointing, most of them just got thrown away.
