Tried this place out for a date night after seeing so much hype about it. I’m giving it 3 stars because some of the game consoles didn’t work. When we got moved to another one it took forever to load and didn’t even have newer games on it. It had really old games or games we had never heard of. Besides that the food was amazing!!! We got the Mac n cheese bites for an appetizer and that’s definitely a must try. The burgers were huge and tasty as well. For dessert we got a huge chocolate milkshake that we didn’t really care for. Besides that the place is very clean. Can get pricey but totally worth a try for the food side of it.

This place was more than we hoped it would be. We went for our anniversary hoping to have some more fun than just eat fancy food, and was blown away by the food fair and cocktails. I got Bricks chicken and its probably the best chicken Ive ever had.I think gamers would really like this place. There are setups to play different consoles, as well a emulators for retro games, with varying number of people. For my spouse and I, we were set up in a booth for two where we chose to play on the Switch. I dont know for sure, but I think you have to be certain which system you want to play - I dont think you can change systems unless you change tables.I liked especially that it felt both kid-friendly and private enough for me and my spouse to chat without having to raise our voices or be interrupted. Im already thinking about coming back with my 5-year-old, she would love this place.Excellent food and drinks, great service, we had a blast and have no complaints.

A unique and amazing experience here at Nerdvana! The food was so delicious and it was great to play games while you eat and chat. The monitors were placed in comfortable viewing distance of the tables, and the game operation was smoothly. Our group played Smash Bros while enjoying great food! We tried some appetizers and desserts. I got the berry crumble, which was amazing, and we also tried one of their shakes! Looking forward to my next experience here.

Want a place to enjoy food, cocktails and play games? Here is your spot. A little gem in the wall located in Frisco, Texas. You can enjoy lunch or dinner with drinks / cocktails while playing games on PS4, Nintendo Swutch, Nintendo, XBIX and more. Great Customer Service and the prices are actually decent. There is a connecting Cafe where you can go during the day for coffee, tea and pastries while choosing board games to enjoy with family and friends. I will definitely come back again as the noise level is also very low. ENJOY!!!

I had a great time here, definitely the perfect place for any occasion whether that ranges from date night to just a regular lunch time. You will be back! They gave us an amazing selection of game consoles to choose from when we first arrived. We had a bit of trouble with the PS4 But the staff got it fixed within minutes. Our waiter was a breathe of fresh air and very helpful when it came to us choosing what we wanted to eat. The menu is game themed and does a very good job at showcasing that. The food came out very fast and was delicious. We even stayed hours after we finished food just enjoying the game and atmosphere! Will definitely be back!

We loved this spot! I came across it on Instagram, and it did not disappoint. The place was packed, but the individual booths make it very covid friendly. And they wipe all the game controllers down before the next use.We ordered dinner while we played and it was pretty good. We ordered burgers and a brownie with ice-cream for dessert. But they do have a ton of options for both food and drinks. Our waitstaff was also very friendly. The only thing Im disappointed about is how far it is from us. We live in Dallas, but this place was definitely worth the drive!

Ive been itching to come here for a long while now and I was not disappointed with my visit. Came here for a date and had a blast!Im thinking its a first come first serve, but luckily when I visited it was pretty quiet and we were able to choose a table with our preferred console of a PS4. I believe they also offer tables with a Switch, the SNES and a selection of boardgames. They have a full bar and it is just a beautiful spectacle to behold. There are plenty of TVs that appeared to be showing live eSport streams of popular games like Overwatch and Rocket League. They have plenty of wall decor depicting iconic game characters and publisher logos. What I really appreciated about the look and feel of this establishment is that it was not too overwhelming despite being a restaurant aimed at gamers. It felt very welcoming for just about anyone. This is a great place to introduce someone to the amazing world of gaming!I love when a food menu has wacky and silly names for their food items and everything sounded amazing! We had Shenrons Mac n Cheese ballz ( didnt get a pic because we ate them really fast), and two orders of their brisket quesadillas which hit every spot. The dessert was the perfect last touch. I never get dessert anywhere, but I had to try it here and it was the best decision of my life! We had Tiny Tinas Brownie Rampage and it was to die for. Rich, thick brownie topped with vanilla ice cream. It was a taste of ultimate euphoria.I also really liked the restrooms. Each one was unisex, and displayed a green light to show that it is vacant. In total, whether you game or not this place is a great choice for a drink, a bite and an awesome experience with your loved ones. Game on.

This place has such a fun concept of gaming and eating. Its great for having a relaxing meal and hanging out and theres no pressure to give up your spot like an arcade with a line of people. They have a variety of consoles. They ask you spend a minimum of 10 dollars a person while youre there since games are free. They have a great selection of food and its lots of sandwiches yet also more sophisticated fork and knife type meals. We had the steak sandwich and it was amazing. Our server must have forgotten about us because we did not see the server for 20 minutes??? I know times are rough but this was particularly bad. Never got a refill on any of the tables drinks, and we were going to order our entree but after we got our app no one ever came back. Xbox, ps4, switch...go old school with Sega or Nintendo. Good food to boot. Promised pictures and almost forgot again...so ya got a half eaten burger. Build your own style is fun on the burger. Desserts are good. They sanitize the controllers and let you choose the platform to play, which determines where you sit. They dont do reservations for that reason, so come early to get full choices, as its first come first serve.

Went for my birthday, as this place had good memories for me and my spouse. We were quickly seated at a PS4 table - the restaurant doesnt allow reservations and its pretty hit or miss, especially if youd like a particular console. We used to be able to get a virgin version of one of their cocktails, but no longer. We got the paupu mocktail and an orange soda. I know their cocktails used to be very tasty, but I no longer drink alcohol so I cant speak to them now. There is a wide variety of flavors, especially floral flavors. I had to ask what was in the paupu mocktail since it was described as starfruit, raspberry lemonade, and destiny. I had to sub an ingredient for an allergy but it was a simple process. Water is served in a carafe with cups for the table so you can fill yourself as you go.We got fried okra and chicken bites. The okra is exactly what youd expect no more no less, not quite as crisp as what it was a few years ago but still good flavor. The chicken bites were smaller, and the hadouken bbq sauce didnt have as much of a spicy punch as it did before. Portions were much smaller than we remembered. We got the stardew salad (no pecans) and the guardian angel hair pasta. The salad was crisp and fresh. The goat cheese, dried fruit, and blackberry vinagrette gave several different textures and flavors that all complemented each other. It was heavier than most salads. The added on chicken was plain, but thats expected. The angel hair pasta had little flavor, but the added chicken provided nice flavor. The vegetables had a good amount of sauce to try to lend some flavor. The garlic bread was okay, but was very soft where we prefer crispier. We got the 7th level banana pudding and blackberry crisp. The pudding was bland and tasted almost powdery. The banana pieces were soft and moist, and the vanilla wafers were at the perfect softness to enjoy with a spoon. The blackberry crisp was very tart, and relied on the icecream (tasted like bluebell) to round out the flavors. I think the actual crumble on the crisp could be improved.Payment was handled with a handheld device the waitress had. She seemed to forget several times where we were in the meal (asking if we were ready to order any starters after we had ordered appetisers and they werent served yet, etc). Due to the fact there are games to play, it does take longer to get through a meal. In the past this wasnt an issue but it seemed to bother the staff a lot more than before. The focus seems to have shifted towards alcohol and the bar, where many people and groups were mixing and switching seats and no one was wearing a mask. I did not see if or how the controllers were cleaned between users. I know the bathroom stall I went to had a strong odor of urine and the floor was sticky. I told staff before leaving but it did not seem like a concern.

I have been to Nerdvana many times. This was the first time that I went and had to wait for a table. That made me happy because Ive never seen it that busy. My family and I love the food there. Weve tried many things from the menu from the Mac and cheese balls to their milkshakes. We have never been disappointed by the quality of the food. The staff is always great and attentive whether we were the only table the sever had or they are super busy like the last time we went. Sam did a great job as our server and he attended to us constantly. Playing games whether its Nintendo Switch, Ps4 or their older consoles like the SNES classic makes time fly as the food is prepared to order in the back and it never feels like we wait for it. It usually sits at the table as we finish the game were playing. We all love the food from my 72 year old mother down to my 15 year old daughter. I would highly recommend the Diamond Butt Stallion if youre in the mood for a real drink. We try to go at least once a month as its a bit of a drive for us to get there but is always worth it. I hope this restaurant gets all the love and praise from every diner because its just a great place to go and enjoy an amazing meal. Fun fact for anyone interested in gaming is that its in the same building as Gearbox Software (Borderlands developers). I want to thank all the staff for always doing an amazing job and hope they continue to hire such amazing people. Thank you for all the great times, cant wait to see them again.

When you come in, you choose a gaming system and are seated based on your choice of console (they said that they are planning on having PS5s in the future, but due to the shortage have been unable to get their hands on any). You can play your console at the table while you eat. We had a fun time playing some Rocket League and eating some bomb food. This is a pretty cool place and great for a bunch of different types of events. It would be good for a family outing with kids, fun for friends, good for a date, good for a birthday party, etc. Lots of different things could happen here. Its great that they let you choose between video games, board games, or just food. Just know that if you want something specific you might be waiting a while. The mac and cheese bites tasted like they were Kraft. Im not a fan of Kraft, but if youre into that, there you go. The sauce for them was good. The pesto pasta was fantastic. The pizza was subpar. The food is kinda pricey (pesto pasta with chicken was $19 and seemed like a smaller portion than, say, Olive Garden), but you arent charged for the games, and it seems like they wouldnt rush you to get out, so the price evens out in that aspect. Overall I would recommend going at least once just to check it out.

One thing I would improve upon would be the selection of games. We had Fortnite, overcooked, and some other games I didnt recognize (a very small selection for the PS4). We saw other people playing Mario Kart so it just depends on which table/system you get seated at. We still had fun!

So this is supposed to be a different more upscale take on places like Free Play. Games food, social. It was definitely a new experience but not one I will repeat. The wait staff was great. The food was expensive but ok. but where the place fell short was the games. So if you look on youtube or Facebook you kind of get a feel for what to expect when you go in. There are lots of booths or long tables with flat screens at the end for playing games. Each table is a different console system. The consoles have a very limited amount of games to play. The Playstation table we got stuck at had only 2 games i had played before so we didnt play much but let the kids play instead, but they got bored with it after a while. You can also play board games which we did as well. The concept is Interesting but it was disappointing seeing the table next to us with a much more fun nintendo console. We would have tried to jump to the table when it opened up, but each time you change consoles, each person have to spend $10 each to be able to play. With 7 people, it was already too pricey. There was a game menu that said to ask the waitress about the full library of games, but we found out that was referring to the board game library. Oh well. Included here is a picture of the loaded cheese fries and an order of the fried mac and cheese. This is just my take on it. The place was fairly busy so Im sure lots of people got more out of it then I did. Try it out for yourself. You might have a totally different experience!

The service was very attentive/friendly, we ate in the middle of the day, so it wasnt that busy. Chicken bites were a lot better than the fries.I think if you ate the fries quickly, it would work, but we were mostly playing games, so they got mushy, as that is the nature of loaded fries. They went a bit overboard on the bacon for my taste, but if thats what youre into, youll get plenty. The chicken bites were really good, but I didnt care for the habanero sauce. I dipped them in the salsa from the fries, and that was delicious.Game selection was good, just about every (good) co-op game available. My partner and I visited from out of town and this place was excellent for his birthday dinner! We had a Sega Genesis at the table we sat at and we played a card game we had been wanting to try for a while. My only complaint is that my bun for my hamburger was cold (felt like it came straight out of the fridge). The wait staff was very helpful and attentive and it was a successful celebration.

Good food, super friendly staff and video games to plan. I wish they were open fir lunch. Great vegetarian options. Food was fresh and cooked well. Texas size portion, and good drinks.Kids enjoyed video games and food. I liked the video game theme, it keep everyone away from phone and enjoy one game. This definitely helper kill time before food arrived.

9/18 @ 830p.Called and talked to Ben. I asked if they delivered. He said no. Asked if I can do Grubhub or any other delivery service. He said no. Asked if I could just make my order over the phone. He said no - only online. It could not get the online portal to take my order, so I called back and spoke to Chloe. She said she would ask her manager, so then I heard her talking to her manager (a woman) who just told her over and over that she didn’t want to speak with me because she couldn’t help me. I got hung up on.

My favorite coffee shop ever❤️❤️❤️ love their coffee their environment and all the table games they have. Super fun place to go with friends, on a date, or just to relax/get some good coffee!! I’ve taken lots of friends here and they always love it!! 10/10 would recommend!!! Their coffee tastes amazing and their service is excellent! I usually get the hazelnut latte (sometimes iced, both are pictured) and it’s like ten times better than the one at Starbucks. Support local coffee shops and come here for a great experience!

Very disappointing visit. Kids said terrible selection of games for the PS4 which was the only thing available on a slow night. Food went to wrong table then they picked it up and brought it over to us. My grilled chicken sandwich had the tiniest dry piece of chicken and we waited 10 minutes after ordering drinks. When I asked about celebrating my child’s birthday they said we don’t do anything for birthdays. What restaurant doesn’t at the very least put a candle in a desert ordered for a birthday?! I will NOT return to this restaurant.

This place is cool. The food and drink were good, and it’s nice to be able to play some games and have some fun. A little pricey for what it is, but you’re paying for the schtick.

Pretty cool spot. Gaming while you dine, kids and adults loved it! The food was decent, hot and fresh. I really liked the concept. If there wasnt gaming included with your meal Im not sure I would return. A must visit if you want something different to do in the area for lunch or dinner.

Experience was great! Food portions seemed small for the price, but everything was good. The steak sandwich was very salty.

Very clean great people and the prices were medium end but the food reflected it. Note tho that if you wanna play at another gaming table its gonna be a reset 10 bucks a person...otherwise....its not bad still 5 stars.

Nerdvana is a nerd haven.Theyve got a board game wall, photos of old classic games as art on the wall, board games built into the tables, and board games both to play and to buy.Kind staff, with a pretty clean atmosphere.Music is of your typical coffee shop, which feels a little out of touch.I really enjoyed my iced latte with Salted Caramel. :)Really neat place. Id recommend it to coffee lovers in need of something new and fun.

The decor in the place was great! The booths were comfortable and it was great playing rocket league at our table while waiting for food. The food was pretty great. The fried chicken parmesan sandwich was delicious and I recommend it.The drink menu had a great selection of cocktails. Easy place to spend an evening drinking and playing games with friends.
