My wife bought a new phone outright because we didnt want to pay the monthly payments. We ordered it online and had it shipped to the house. It was really difficult backing up her old iPhone and restoring her new iPhone. The steps that are on Verizons website are garbage. We Googled it and found a better website to guide us. Everything worked except texting and calling.... The two most important features of a cell phone.We drove up there to this store and it was like navigating a maze to find the store.The customer service rep was nice and he reactivated my wifes phone. All is well now.We would go back here. The reason for the four stars instead of five stars is because it was hard to navigate to the store and Verizons website is terrible.

Went into the Preston Rd. Store, was checked in, waited 45 min. Rep. Called my name, did not say how can I help you, asked how to decrease my bill(had upgrades due) he directed me to look it up on my own phone. I asked specials, he said the least he could say and seemed uninterested to help me, do I left! Cant wait til Robots take over this job and Car Sales!!! Terrible store!

Had the worst experience with T-Mobile customer service after 15years with them. Moved to Texas recently switched to AT&T signal and service was crazy horrible. Went to the Frisco location of Verizon and have had amazing customer service with all visits including Nicholas, Marcus, Derrick and Kimar.

Well....we checked in with the only person working here. Another worker showed up and we asked if we could see phones...he told us to wait for the other person. Was he busy? No...he was watching videos on his phone. After 20 min my husband went up and asked again for help and the guy says oh youre next....she will help you next! So um...back to watching videos the other worker went while the lady helped her customer....we wanted 2 new phones I feel like we were lucky to get out with one. Will never be back

I loved it. Yes, I have my reasons to give only 3 stars.Service was great. No doubt...waited long and got the job done.BUT...for pandemic time..it was crowded.There were sign here and there to shop while maintaining 6feet..however the booth stand where they assist you is as close as bar stools in prepandemic club. 😅 how does that help?!?!Mask was not madated either.So.....Yea...Sani wipes were provided in abundance..if you care to wipe their booth yourself. Cause I did not see anyone cleaning (even once) between customers.The assistant that help us was patience with us.

I stopped in to add a 3rd line with the 5G Mobile Hotspot. The only con that i had from this store visit was with the gentleman that helped me. I had to have a debate with him for several minutes about my cellphone needs before he would assist me with the only reason I went to the store. When he realized that I did not have any interest in any products outside of the hotspot his demeanor changed and he became abrupt as if I was wasting his time. I did not know that customer service is only given if there is a huge sales commission to be made, nevermind that I have been a loyal Verizon customer 🤷🏾‍♀️

Had two upgrades with Verizon before coming to this store and this was the WORST experience ever and I didnt even leave with the phone. Quasim was matter of fact and was so sure he knew all of Verizons policies even though it always been done before. Even if it wasnt technically policy Im glad the other Verizons helped me out and made sure I felt like a valued customer and not another number like Q. Now that I see these reviews i get why this store is what it is and hopefully Verizon looks at it.

I understand with covid people have to close or shorten hours, but I dont see why this Verizon location would close every weekend when most people would be interested in coming in or buying something. Unfortunately, their support over the phone is terrible. I was on hold for over an hour and they simply transferred me once and I had to hang up because my time is more valuable. Disappointing.

Ive never had a store go out of their way to make sure I dont buy a phone. I was interested in upgrading one or two of my phones today. They dont setup or transfer from verizon accounts to verizon accounts anymore. They told me I could do everything myself at home, and I could order cases at home for cheaper. I fail to see the point of having a store if I need to finish ordering and setup at home. LAZY & INCOMPETENT!!!

I went online to get the local store phone number. I called the number and immediately went into the Verizon Music Loop with no end in sight! Ive been on 2 chats, and talked to 4 different people in the last 2 hours of being in the loop! All Im trying to do is buy a new phone with the e-gift cards I received for joining Verizon. Its looking like Verizon is drinking from the AT&T coolaid cooler! What a disappointment. Im now on hold with two phones at the same time to see which answers first. Im less than impressed Verizon.

Ive been a customer of Verizon Wireless since 1996. This store and its manager Ron is the reason I am changing my service.Ron clearly doesnt have an interest in using his brain to come up with a solution. He started our conversation disinterested in my issue and it became obvious that he is not suited in problem solving very early in our conversation. Ron may want to consider a career that doesnt involve dealing with people face-to-face.

The salesman provided false pricing information to get me to join, then provided false promotional information to get me to join, and when I returned to try resolving these issues, the manager couldnt care any less.Calling corporate was more fruitful, as they had a genuine interest in retaining my business. If I had to make a decision purely on my experience at this location, I would switch to another carrier.

Went to upgrade my watch and they were closed. Online states they are open and I called the number to confirm and it air open until this evening but yet they had a paper calendar on the doors stating closed on Sundays. There was someone else waiting on the curbside pick up as well. Terrible customer service to not update hours or voicemail services.

Went to upgrade to 2 new I phones, wife and I were wearing masks. The door was locked, rep came outside to see what we needed and told me they didnt want people inside shopping. He was willing to let 1 of us in because I knew exactly what we wanted. I wanted us both to go in the store, Nope, only 1 person in the store at a time, rep told me my wife could wait outside (its Raining). Rep said I should shop on line. I get the Covid 19 thing but there were no customers in the store. Ive been with Verizon since you were GTE. My next step will be scrutinizing my bill and finding an ATT store.

This is the only Verizon store that I give the lowest rating and why? Its because when my phone broke based on computer software malfunction they would not honor my 10 + years of being a customer with assisting me and getting a new phone. I eventually decided to use my old phone that I had stored in my closet. But the same software malfunction also took place with this one and the battery which you could not replace would only stay charged for less then 5 hours and regardless of the fact that their software failed. They still did not help me get a new phone they expected me to continue to pay for the next 2 months for the phone that I have that was broken. And despite the fact that I told them that I had to have the contacts on the phone for business reasons they still would not assist me in getting a new phone and they gave no other options. I give them the lowest rating, if there was anything even lower than one I would have given them -55. They treated me like a possible thief and they stalked me and stood around me just watching me while I considered purchasing a new phone. I give them the worst customer service award that is ever been given. And because this I refused to pay for the rest of the $250 and withdrew my service from Verizon. The phones have never fixed.

Jasmine wasn’t interactive AT ALL and borderline rolled her eyes right in front of us. Very short on answering questions about the iPhone 11 we were looking to buy. Me and my wife just left and went to another Verizon store when we found out this location didn’t have the color we were looking for. Luckily that gave us an excuse to leave and buy from the location in Lewisville who was much more friendly in answering simple questions. You think an establishment would value customer service to people who are about to spend over a thousand dollars in your store.

Ive been a Verizon customer for 16 years. I spend a lot of money on 3 devices with a teenager in the home. My experience today at this still will likely leave me to drive further the next time and order online instead of my normal habits.After spending 45 min today on the phone, trying to reach someone and after several attempts to file a claim for my sons phone online, I was left with my only option of coming to the store today for help.Im first greeted with the requirement of standing outside in the 80 degree weather in a long line that ultimately I stayed in for 50 min. After I finally got to the front a sales member Derrick greeted me and I can only assume bc I wasnt buying, activating a phone he was not interested in helping me. He continued to tell me, Verizon cant help me I have to call Asurio (obviously I am aware of this) but I relayed to him to that I was not able to reach anyone on the phone and my online claim form while save . Would not proceed and I just needed help figuring out how to get to the next steps.He told me fine he would see but he was pretty sure he couldnt help me and that my son couldnt go in, only 1 at a time. This gave me hope. Then a General Manager Ron pulled up and said with enthusiasm, have you been helped? I relayed my situation and he responded to me the same. I said. All I need is help is Verizon not even willing to look at it with me? And he finally agreed and said someone would be right with me. I asked him if he could help, and he said no, he was the manager he could not help me.I waited another 20 min and then Derrick came back out and said he would have to take the gentleman that had been waiting for 15 min bc he set an appointment. I waited more.Moral to the story, the only reason I pay more for Verizon is the customer service. I can do this terrible service with Spectrum and save $150 a month. Let alone that just pretending like you want to help goes a long way, just try to help the customers that are loyal with you. But the way, I ended up leaving, I never was helped at this store. Lovely way to spend the afternoon.

Customer Service Doesn’t Exist Here! My representative was Vincent. He was very racist. He left me inside the store for 45 minutes while he went to the back to review my account. He flagged my account for fraud because there was no usage on one of the lines that was being ported in. Of course there’s no usage, because I didn’t have a compatible phone with Verizon, that’s why I came inside the store to purchase a compatible phone. I sat there and waited for over 45 minutes and he never came back out. I left the store and filed a complaint with customer service.I emailed the contact information below. 3 weeks later and I still havent received a response.

Deceptive. I asked multiple times as to what my final bill would be after signing up for a postpaid account and they quoted me a much lower amount than what it ended up being. They did not mention that there would be a one time activation fee and also did not mention all the surcharges that go with the bill even after I specifically asked for it. Disappointed as Verizon is great but people here were not transparent. Motivated to get you to sign up rather than to help you understand the plans and charges.

Went there to exchange my phone when my contract needed to be renewed. The salesman I was with was not pushy on upgrading or was not attempting to over sell me. He even held the door open for my wife and myself when we got there before we even got inside. Customer service was excellent. Probably the nicest Verizon store Ive been to. These other reviews are dated, dont bother reading. This store is excellent.

The return policy at verizon is apparently only 14 days, even for accessories that have not been opened. Not only were we pressured into buying something that we later found for less than 20% of the cost they charged, they never told us we had only 14 days to return an item that was purchased for Christmas.I guess I should have asked about the policy, but its not right that they dont openly tell their customers about a policy that considerably shorter than most companies standard return policy. They wouldnt even let us have a store or account credit even with a receipt.Never going to buy anything from them again!

This store can destroy Verizon brand.I went to store and gave my phone IMEIs and purchased three pre-paid lines. I was told all three phones are compatible with the network but when I went home and put the SIMs in my phones one of them couldn’t work with the network. I had to go back to store to find out the reason and they told me your phone is not compatible with Verizon. The guy laughed at me and said you can talk to manager. Waited for manager for 30min and she/he did not show up and eventually had to leave the store.

Not very helpful at all. I had ordered a phone for in store pick up. Verizon made a mistake on the color of the phone. I called in advance to see if I could get the correct color phone which they have in stock. First they said that I have to cancel the order and re order at the store with them. I thought that it was a very inconvenient process to make the customer go through since it was a Verizon mistake in the first place. Then they tell me that I can have the color that I want but they will charge me a restocking fee of $35. restocking for a phone that I never even touched or seen.

Truly awful. Showed up at the beginning of the day on Saturday to catch it when they werent busy. I was getting off of a small provider in West Texas and getting on an account with my girlfriend to keep cost low.To start off, after leaving i found out that when he said he transferred my contacts, i didnt know he meant five contacts. i had lost virtually all of my numbers since i traded my phone in (phone had to be wiped).Then, i find out that when i got my bill i was charged $8 more a month than what im supposed to and when i clearly said that i didnt want the insurance on my phone for $11 a month the guy clearly heard yes, i would love to.Then when i try to change it through Verizon support, i cant, because my name isnt even on the account.I dont think they did anything right.also, trade ins were only good for their overpriced accessories, or thats what they said. $40 for a car charger? no thanks

The negative reviews almost scared me away, but Im glad they didnt. I went in today to switch from AT&T, replacing 2 of 3 phones in the process. John M. helped me and my wife and was fantastic. He walked us through the entire process, set up the new phones, and gave us every promo that was available. He was also friendly, professional, and very personable, and had us in and out in less than 30 minutes.The store itself was clean and well-staffed, and everyone we interacted with was friendly and professional.In short, ignore the negative reviews and give this location your business.

If you can help it please take your business else where. The fact that they are busy is typical based from there location. I went to the store with a friend on 10.8. 17, since I had paid 1,000 for the note 8 I decided to get a Zagg screen protector. The gentleman that assisted me was friendly took my money put the screen protector on my phone. Shortly after my phone stopped working correctly. The sensor was not responding to my fingers tips. I took it to another phone store and they told me that whoever put the screen protector on did not put it on right. I took it back to Verizon and the gentleman recognized me, and exchanged it. The phone worked for a week, Friday night my screen protector popped off. Considering that I paid so much for the screen protector, I went back to the same Verizon store and explained that the man did not give me my receipt back. I asked if they could pull my purchase up by my credit card. A heavy set Hispanic man tried to send me to the mall for a Zagg screen protector. I was so upset, that I purchased merchandise from this store and rather than assisting or providing a solution they tried to send me off so the return would not impact their store. Run people run, this is not a place you would want to spend your hard earned money in.

Worst store in metroplex. Possibly the state. Came in after getting tempered glass done by another location because it was installed poorly and they had said they would replace it. Walked in and completely different story. Sorry we cant help because you dont come to our location. I mean really? Terrible staff and service. Sold phones to my elderly parents based on false representation. They pretty much lied about the promotion and that cost them $1000. My parents cant afford it since they are on fixed income. Verizon customer service wont do anything after promising to fix this issue repeatedly. The store says they cant do anything. Stay away from these scammers. Verizon online screwed up my account and while it took several hours to get resolved (due to it being s8 launch date without any stock available so couldnt just return and get an s8 like they normally would). They made a ton of calls to various Verizon numbers to get my account sorted. Word puff advice if you are coming from prepaid to postpaid just go to the store... so much easier.

So, Ive been a Verizon customer for quite some time now, and I have used this store when I have issues every now and again. Recently I bought a new iPad Pro, and had some issues getting the SIM card activated so I just went to the store to figure it out what I was doing wrong. The woman that helped me didnt say but two words to me the whole time.The kicker was, when I got home and I got an email about the receipt from my transaction, and I owe all of these activation charges that I wasnt told about.The original agreement when I bought the thing was I wouldnt have an activation charge. Then a few hours later I get an email about equipment protection - which I ALWAYS decline. Ive had so many issues with Asurion in the past that I dont care to deal with them.I Call Verizon support to work through this and fix my account. Turns out, not only did I get the extra iPad line added, she also added a third line to my account! So I now owed two line activation fees, and two additional line charges, plus the extra monthly add ons that she added to my account. All in all, my January bill is going to be $350 for my troubles, to which Verizon says they cant refund me for until my bill in February.This place has really gone down hill in the last 10 years with the training or talent they hire.... If you can not deal with the Verizon store, I would recommend it.

I’ve had the iPhone 6s for the last 4 years, yesterday upgraded to the iPhone Xs.I was greated at the front door when I walked in by the sales asssociate, Victor. Victor was very knowledgeable and personable... he asked me what I was looking for then walked me through all my options without making me feel pressured. He listened to what I had to say and advised me on my best phone upgrade. He answered the questions I had and the whole process was fast and easy. The other sales people there seemed friendly too. Are they still in business? Wow. Verizon are not really good with monitoring their stores quality arent they. As many reviews already mentioned - rude people, and even worst - ignorant about their pwn product. I ended up buying a product after getting the wrong information about how much I will pay for its data. Ridiculous. 4 people work at store and all of them are dumb. Do yourself a favor. Get all the information you can by calling Verizon, verify it with 2 reps to make sure you get theaccurate information, research online and read reviews, and then go ahead and buy your item on Amazon. Cheaper than in the store, saves you gas/time/frustration, and most importantly you will get a full refund if it didnt work. With this store I ended up losing $60 because they could not refund me for their OWN misleading information.

I went here looking for a prepaid mobile broadband plan so I could watch football when my family and I go on a road trip soon. I was told that there was only 1 hotspot device that I could purchase with the prepaid plan and that device didnt support 3g (we are traveling through West TX and there is no 4G service in the middle of nowhere). So If I were in an area without 4G, I could not use the device. I recently found out that this information was not correct.The sales person was very rude and it took me at least 2 hours to see a representative. This location should be closed down permanently. Youd be better off purchasing online.

Horrible! I was sent to this store by the Verizon store in Allen on Stacy road. I called the Stacy road store to get a defective tempered glass replaced on my HTC One M8. I called the Stacy store and they said come in and we will replace we have 2 in stock. I get there and they have none. They send me to this store and they give me the run around and say I must have broken it some how some way. And that they dont know why Stacy would have replaced it. However I can buy a new one for $30 and they will install it.

What an awful store. My wife and I went in to upgrade our phones and sign another 2-year contract. This group of people were rude and the least helpful Ive seen so far. We were brushed off and not helped at all. Finally a guy walked by and my wife said, Do you know how many megapixels this smartphone has? The guy looked down at it and said, Umm like 13mp maybe...? and just walked off! I wanted to say, How do you not know? That is a pretty simple question regarding the product YOU sell! There were 6 workers there two customers and no help. They were all far to busy playing with their own phones to pay attention to anyone else... Makes me rethink that 2-year contract. Maybe the guys at sprint store would be nicer!

Jerrisa is a horrible manager. I hope senior management sees this! I came in to transfer a phone number to another verizon phone and she kept interrupting me when I tried to explain the situation. She did not have the mental capacity or empathy to understand the situation. My grandmother has memory issues and lives in South Carolina and they were ADAMANT about getting information from her directly over the phone even though I had ALL the information necessary to get the simple task taken care of. I had the account info, password, I knew the account details and names....but they wanted her to call and give information to them with all these numbered details via text messages and passcodes. I then had to explain to her AGAIN to her thick skull that my grandma has memory issues. Oh and my name was already on the account and they refused to open it to see which was verified by my uncle. After being rude she stood there like an oaf waiting for hell to freeze over doing nothing but stare at me. Awful service! I finally got the issue resolved....and I wasnt a security risk. I will never use verizon after this and will make sure I let everyone I know the awful customer service I had when they think about getting verizon! Get your customer service managers in check.Shout out to the two guys who did try and help without giving me a jumble nonsense speech that girl did. Thank you.

I had bought google pixel cell phone online and phone case from the store. After about a week, which is within 2 week return policy, I came back to return the phone case with which I have a few issues. I did not bring the receipt with me, so absolutely understand that was my fault but I will narrate the experience (paraphrasing my conversation)Me – Sorry I don’t have a receipt but I can tell you the rep whom I bought it from along with date, cc# used for payment, my phone# that I provided along with address.Jayden (rep) – Sorry we cannot pull your data since you don’t have Verizon customer account.Me – Can you use the barcode from the box?Jayden – Sorry no.Jayden brings his Manager (Naresh)Me – I find it interesting that an electronics store cannot pull up a week old transaction with cc#, phone#, address or barcode.Naresh – Yes, we can do that only for Verizon customers. But as a one-time courtesy I can offer you to buy something else like an exchange (and pay any additional differential price).Me – But you would still need to take this phone case back to do the exchange, how would you do that?Naresh – We will handle that as an exchange.Me – ok I can go home to see if I can find the receipt and can come back tomorrow, if I cannot find receipt I will go for the exchange by buying some other item.Naresh – Sorry my offer is as a courtesy and only for now, if you come back tomorrow I cannot offer you exchange.I started thinking and started going over some other accessories in the store that I could buy…Naresh – But let me add, you cannot return what you buy as an exchange.I felt the intent of the store manager was to sell/upsell by taking advantage of my situation. He was probably thinking I lost the receipt, but I knew I could find it. I told him I will come back with the receipt, which I did in about an hour to get the refund back (Jayden helped). I cannot trust these guys and will never go to this store again.

Wait times are OK...But the Customer Service Reps are not fully informed. I was trying to port a att go phone number and I was told its not possible by the representative, only to find out later (from Verizon online and from Verizon phone sales) that it is possible. Something I could have done in store in less than an hour i.e. pick up new sim and complete number transfer transaction, took me 6 more business days because I had to do it once through Verizon online and once again through Verizon phone sales, because Verizon online system order had some weird application issue and it couldnt even ship me the sim card for 3 days.

I had the worst experience at this Verizon. The salesman representative gave me the wrong phone because he decided to multitask and not check the label. Then stated that he did mess up. Instead of making it right, I had to drive to the location .and return the phone only to have the Manager make a mistake that caused me to sit at the store for another 45 min plus setting up my phone. All together I ended up being at this locatolo for nearly 3 hours due to rep errors. Never offered anything for my time. Didnt even want to throw in a free case for the inconvenience. Stated they could not do anything

Tried to use Verizon but the service was sub-par. Stayed on the plan for 6 month to meet the requirement for the promotion but when I cancelled they are still charging me the promotion amount. Should have taken all the upset customers in the store when I went to sign up seriously.Wont be doing business with Verizon any more.
