Bradley is very friendly and welcoming. My wife and I really appreciate his way of being and treating us. We were in for my wife’s six month ring inspection. As soon as we walked in he greeted us and was very professional and friendly. If you remember anything from this review please remember when you go into Kay Jewelers at Baybrook mall, ask for Bradley, he’ll take good care of you.

My partner ordered me a necklace online as a surprise. When we opened it the chain was damaged and this is the closest location for it to get repaired.I took it in and Scott helped me, sent it in and said it would be 2 weeks for repairs.I got a call a week later saying it was going to take an additional 2 extra weeks due to a lack of supply for the chain. So I waited.It had been over 4 weeks at one point so I called the location just to ask for an update because online it showed that it was still at the warehouse.The store manager Chuck answered and when I politely explained my situation and that I wasnt having the best experience with my repair at this location he immediately got an attitude, began to talk over me when I was speaking. 100% behaving in a VERY unprofessional way and hung up on me.It was very upsetting.I went to pick up my necklace 2 days after and a man on the floor named Lucas assisted me. Scott had to help out again due to my necklace again not being fixed. It had arrived at the store still broken.My necklace was repaired after a month of waiting. Scott and Lucas were absolutely phenomenal! They were both very polite, understanding, and explained every step in a proper and professional manner.Chuck however was not. I feel as if he should be fired. If you are representing a company and your team, you should have exceptional customer service. Chuck being a store manager fails to do so yet his employees under him have exceptional customer service.Scott who is only a supervisor was more helpful and professional shows you who the good employees are. If Chuck had been a professional in the first place I would give this store more stars.So thank you Scott and Lucas. I hope you both continue to be amazing employees regardless of the bad management at this location .

The store inside was very clean, the staff was very attentive to our needs and great service. No hassle during tranaction. I would come again to buy jewelry here. I feel the need for people to understand what a gem this location is. Denver is simply amazing. He will ask what I am looking for and my price range. He is quick to learn what I like exactly and NEVER pressures me to spend more just to make a higher sale. He is able to find things for me I didnt even know I really wanted. He is that good at knowing what your taste is. He gives me ideas on what to get next time and what to save for. He always knows exactly what I want. Plus I never like to pay full price for anything so Denver is always telling me what sales or going on where. I literally tell my husband that if he wants to get me any jewelry then go to Kays and locate Denver. Before I found Denver at this location I could literally spend forever not making a decision. He gets me in and out with no problems and saves me so much time. I have seen people come in the store and wait for him his service is simply that amazing.

We went to all the major jewelry stores in the mall to find a new wedding ring set for me. We found a good one at Zales, then found a good one at Kays. The guy at Kays seemed supportive when we found a good one and still wanted to look at the other place in the mall. The ring quality was best at Kays.The guy seemed to be very knowledgeable about rings in general. We were very pleased with the whole experience.

My husband purchased earrings for me here but after wearing them a couple of times they irritated and infected my ears. My ears have ever only been irritated with cheap jewelry but we didn’t expect them to be by Kay jewelry. I loved the style of the earrings but disappointed with the quality, especially considering how much we paid for them.

I absolutely love Kay Jewelers and have been using them for over 27 years (since 1991). This particular store in Baybrook Mall has a rude consultant with a bad attitude and she treated my wife quite poorly on this most recent visit. We asked to deal with someone else and got better treatment, but that one lady was just flat out discourteous.

Great people and service! Ive done business at Kay Jewelers for years and havent been disappointed. Denver sized my watch for me and was very patient and great to work with even though I didnt buy my watch from there this particular time. Go and see Inez and crew and theyll take great care of you!

They are the best Carrie the manager and all her great girls so friendly and helpful Love them all. They make you feel like family. Carrie goes out of her way to make your day brighter. The girls always seem so happy I would recommend Carrie and her girls to anyone. She makes Ottumwa Iowa a better place.

Typically, we have wonderful customer service by an older lady, I believe her name is Beth?Anyways, my husband went in there yesterday to get a diamond replaced (2nd time in less than 6 months). Well, he was greeted with a very rude and arrogant Asian gentleman. Before my husband could say more than his need, this guy went off saying Well, we have to see if you even have the 6 month plan.Okay, I understand you have to check to make sure you can properly service us, but NOT WITH AN ATTITUDE!!!!!Thank the Lord Beth was there to to take over the reigns because my husband was about to go off on that dude.To Beth, thank you for servicing us with an amazing, warm, compassionate attitude for the last 13 years!!!!

The sales people here wont pay attention to you if you arent dressed like you have money. Ive spent thousands here. Came here with my fiancee and her sister looking for a couple of engagement rings there was 7 employees and 1 other customer and they didnt even acknowledge us. At one point they (3) walked away from the counter they were standing around talking instead of asking if we needed any help which we did. I guess it was cuz we looked young and dressed casually we must not be worth the time.

Ridiculous customer service they deserve a zero... told lady at the counter that I needed a ring for my daughter’s graduation within a week and she promised “no problem”... two weeks later we call customer service and find out that in fact the ring won’t come in for ANOTHER four weeks—furious!!!!! Will miss my daughter’s celebration and now we have to scramble to get a ring for her with no time. NEVER AGAIN will we go to this store.

I really like Kay jewelers as a company. This store however is not run well (in my opinion). I went in looking to purchase a birthday gift and stood there for 8 minutes without one person even saying hello to me. I even stood right in front of one of the ladies, she was at her desk and I was looking right at her. There was one other customer in there, so they werent busy (In my opinion). This was my second time there and the first time I had to ask for help as no one wanted to help (it seemed this way to me). I came back again to give them the benefit of the doubt. Its hard to imagine this company/store doesnt want my business :( ... Ive decided to never shop here again unless management changes or at least receives new training. As I mentioned, I do however like Kay jewelers as a company. Ive shopped at one in Arizona and they were ALWAYS so helpful :) so I guess Ill be shopping online with Kay instead. Or whenever Im in AZ. Im just disgusted with this store.

Worst jewelry store ever. My husband bought my engagement ring and wedding ring in 2016. We have been back and forth with broken rings and missing diamonds since. In May my engagement ring broke, finally get a call that it’s back from repair in August only to find out that it’s 2 sizes to small. Sent it back to repair and I call to check on the status of my ring to find out that they have had it for 3 weeks but forgot to call. When we show up to pick it up we find out that they lost it and we have to wait for another call when they find it.

Nothing but awful customer service. Had three diamonds fall out of my engagement ring sent it off for 3 weeks and got it back and there was another diamond missing. The solution offered was sending it back out for three more weeks. When we finally got offered a decent solution it cost an additional close to a 1000 dollars. I would not get anything of importance from Kay. Along with my hard time with them I had a friend whose diamond was replaced with a fake. Im getting rid of all my jewlery from there and going to a local place that cares about their customers.

Poor communication on their part. Purchased a ring at tanger outlet and had to get it sized. Asked for it to get sent to baybrook. When the ring was done it was sent back to tanger outlet. I got a call that it was at tanger outlet, I went the following day and was told it was sent to Baybrook. Got a call from Baybrook that my ring arrived (never mentioned to bring identification) I went to pick it up and was asked for my license (just so happened that I didnt have it that day) I tried showing my license from my phone, even had my Kays card with me but the manager was so rude then his coworker felt she had to be in our conversation too! I felt bullied and embarrassed. I work in customer service and I am a manager and there is a certain way you can speak to customers to have them understand policies other than being rude about it. AND ALL OF THIS COULD OF BEEN AVOIDED HAD THERE BEEN BETTER COMMUNICATION!

This store is a joke! They fitted my fiancée for a wedding ring 3 different times and none were the right size. They gave me zero percent financing for the first ring and because it was the wrong size they wanted to charge me interest because it wasnt the original ring I purchased. I have a 3 people tell me I owe 3 different amounts for my minimum payment. I tried giving them everything back and they wouldnt take it because it has been over 60 days. I will never buy anything from here again.

We were looking something as a wedding gift. Nobody came to us though there were no other customers at that time. After looking ourselves for at least 15 mins a lady came. She was so rude and she even misbehaved. Zero ethics. Very poor customer service. Ended up buying really expensive diamond ring from zales. Kay jewelers need to hire some new well trained staff.

The sales lady who was helping my husband and I was not respectful with the fact that we had a budget and did not want to apply for credit. She also showed her ugly side when she made faces and comments when another employee was passing behind her. I wish I remembered her name but as a description she was a white, heavier set woman who is disrespectful.Overall, we had a bad experience and was being shown a not so good diamond ring that was going to be sold to us overpriced. We did not purchase from this store we went to helzberg and had a wonderful experience.

I purhchased an expensive set of rings in 2000 from an inheritance from my dad. I have had them cleaned and serviced every year since. The rings were always sent to Jareds jewelry on Bay Area Blvd and were always returned before the promise date. In 2013, I went to the store to have my annual cleaning and checkup and was told by a rude woman named Valerie that I would have to bring my original bill of sale to the store with the rings before they would accept them. When I asked why or if this was a new policy, I was told that there had been lots of crime and not everyone who brings jewelry in there had come by them honestly. Basically, this woman insinuated that my jewelry may not belong to me. So I went home and got my papers and took the rings back. I took the rings and the bill of sale back in for the annual check up in 2014 and the lady said, We dont need your bill of sale. I pointed to Valerie and said, she told me last year that I needed this in order sayifor my rings to be accepted. And that was the end of that. On April 10, 2015 I took my rings in for the annual check up. I was told the promise date would be April 18, 2015. When I remarked, they always come back early because they just send them right across the freeway to Jareds, the lady said nothing. I received a call on April 15, saying that the rings wouldnt be back until April 23 because of a backup delay. I told them that wouldnt work for me and they told me the rings would be at the store on Thursday afternoon, April 16. I called the store on Friday April 17 and was told that the rings were not back and in fact were in the mail. Under no circumstances would I have ever agreed to have my rings sent anywhere by mail and the lady at the store made no attempt to correct my earlier statement about the work being done at Jareds, which to me was failure to disclose. Apparently every manager or pseudo manager at this store was on vacation and I asked that the regional manager contact me. I never received a call. I called the store on Saturday April 18 and was told that the rings were being sent from San Antonio. I was given the number of the regional manager and I left a message to return my call. I did receive a call from the assistant regional manager on Saturday, and while she was very nice and professional, my problem remained unresolved. I got a call today that my rings that received no service at all had been sent back to the store and I picked them up.I have been treated badly by most, but not all, of the personnel at the Baybrook Mall in Friendswood, Texas location. I am leaving out parts of this story because of the petty nature of the complaints I have. However, the bottom line is, the personnel needs some public relations training, they need to fully disclose what becomes of your jewelry when it is serviced. If you dont mind substandard customer service by personnel who are neither informed or candid about their policies and procedures, then this may be the jeweler for you. I have been a faithful and loyal customer since 2000. I will never walk back into this store and I will never recommend the chain to anyone. In fact, I wont even disclose where I got my jewelry at the risk of having a friend or colleague coming back to me with complaints of being treated badly. I took my rings, which I paid for a lifetime service agreement for, to an independent jeweler today and will happily pay the $50.00 they want to clean and service my rings. I would give zero stars if that was an option. I review practically everything I purchase and can honestly say, this is the first time I have given a negative review for anything.

Worst customer service, tried returning an online order that was shipped to that location and wasnt able to because they couldnt pull up my account so was told that I couldnt return it without the receipt and I went back and located an online receipt, I was told I couldnt because the 60 day returned policy so I basically got stuck with something that wasnt my expectation all because the lack of employment
