Fantastic selection of craft beers, bourbon, rum and the list goes on and on. The crew is very helpful and full of.suggestions if you are trying to branch out. I like the fact that they have a huge selection of Texas products. Love supporting the local economy. Checking out is sometimes slow, but the selection makes up for it.

This place has a really great craft beer selection in addition to the great liquor and wine selection, of course. I really like their craft beer aisle, lots of good stuff. Keep the IPAs from Modern Times, True Anomaly, El Segundo and other great breweries coming please! 5 STARS

Best selection and usually the best prices in the area the only reason I would not come here is because I would go to Costcos liquor store nearby out of convenience however the prices here often beat everywhere else including the Costco liquor store. Top that with the fact that its basically a luxury experience when entering this place and the selection of the lifetime to boot. Super friendly staff that know where everything is helps too.

This is the best liquor store near here with really good prices and a great selection of bourbons, rye whiskeys, scotch and Irish whiskeys and tequilas. This is the store I recommend to my friends for top quality and varieties of alcohol.

The selections are plentiful and the staff is usually very willing to help. Extremely clean store that offers a wide selection. Very well lit and organized. The only issue i have with the store is that it runs out of stock for certain excellent items quickly, and thats understandable, but the store needs to make a better effort to stock the items that always run out on stock day.The store also sells cigars and fine spirits that are locked in a shelf. If youre looking for multi thousand dollar champagne, the store also has you covered. Towards the central-left hand side of the store, there are usually free samples offered during busy hours. Excellent way to expose yourself to a new possible favorite beverage.

What can I say? One of my favorite stores next to LV and Tiffany. Such a great selection of, well, everything. Awesome finds that I havent found elsewhere in the liqueur aisle.

Horrible store. I went in to do an instacart order with a friend and was turned away at the register because my friend didn’t have her ID, even though I was the one buying the alcohol for a customer (well past 50), not even for us. The cashier was an older white woman who stared at us hard and immediately asked for our IDs and when my friend said she didn’t have hers, we were very loudly told, “she can’t be in here” and that we had to leave because no one without an ID (and no one below 21 y.o.) is allowed in the store, even though there were literal children running around. Even after explaining that it was for instacart, the woman just brushed us off and said “okay, we have to verify your ID anyway,” as if to say it was fake? I understand the reasoning considering I look young, but even so, there’s other ways to check and if she was taught properly, she could’ve done this easily. This is the first and last time I’m ever going to that store to do orders or to even personally shop at anymore. It was also very unnecessary that the manager came by and yelled “ID check!” as loudly as humanely possible, putting us in an even more awkward position. For all my POC, I advise y’all go somewhere else. I’ve never felt so uncomfortable in my life and I refuse to step foot there again.

I was with my uncle and the cashier asked for both of our ids, I told her i was just there that i wasnt buying anything that my uncle was, and she said she wanted to see both pf our ids. I didnt have it on me so i couldnt show her so she basically kicked us out saying we couldnt buy anything unless she sees both of our ids. Worst experience ever.

Wow!This is a great place to hang out in H Town. Wines, spirits, and beer, the store has a collection of over 8000 bottles! Every Thursday - Saturday they offer tasting for several kinds; today they have a rose wine, Chardonnay, a sweet red, and also bourbon.Lots of staff in the store to help you out, and they are so nice to talk to! As inexperienced as me, its impossible to pick something I have in mind. But every drink does have a label of description, points, alcohol level etc.The store has strict policy to check the age, they dont take temporary IDs as an answer; I found it out the hard way :( . The location is near the Baybrook Mall, and Total wine always has huge foot traffic.

I always thought Specs was the go to place for liquor in Houston. But, I was able to find brands that I didnt find at my local Specs store. I note that Total Wine has an excellent selection of all types of liquor. Not just wine.

Good variety of Belgian beers, but the Holcomb store had more.

My new home away from home! Their selections of wines and spirits rivals, if not exceeds, that of the Rabbits Place. Prices run from the supermarket grade wine and beers all the way up to the uber-high end investment grade collector level cognacs. (Bring yourself a co-signer for some of these!). If nothing else it can really be a learning experience into the world of the more sophisticated higher end spirit industry.

Went to do an instacart order. It got completely messed up with a replacement item. I went in and out of Candices checkout line 7 times to get this order to process. We are used to total wine stores since we moved here from California. This one is huge! They have pretty much anything you could want. We stopped in to pick up a bottle to take for our weekend in Galveston. It is so easy to exit 45 and turn right into it. When we finished, we were able to get right back on 45 without going through a light.The store is clean and well organized. We didn’t have people following us around trying to push products like they do at Spec’s. The checkout was quick and we ended up buying extra things because the prices were good.We had no issues or complaints.

This place is amazing. I didnt have much time to shop, but it is so easy to find a good deal. I picked up some Bacardi for a friend and its almost ten dollars cheaper than other stores. And I got a new rum based on their rating system. Im enjoying my first drink mixed with it.

This Total Wine discriminated against me as a Puerto Rican.I was over 21 years of age, and I was buying beer and wine with a friend (also over 21, not Puerto Rican). I went to the checkout counter and showed my Puerto Rican ID (I still hadnt exchanged my ID to the Texas one) when the cashier told me Im sorry sir, I cant accept a non-US citizen ID to which I responded that Puerto Rico is part of USA, I am a US Citizen, and that I can buy alcohol in all the states. The cashier still refused, so I called for the manager. I expected the manager to be have the capability of making an educated decision but apparently that was too high an expectation for Total Wine. Not only was the manager also unaware that Puerto Rican IDs are valid Government IDs, he did not even have the foresight of *using GOOGLE* or looking up anything to figure it out. He told me that I needed a US citizen ID and that I should show him my passport. At that time, I didnt want to make a scene, and I just decided to leave.After that, I went to Specs and upon entering the store I told the cashiers about what happened at Total Wine and asked if I could buy there with my Puerto Rican ID and that I was over 21. A cashier told me if youre 21 in Puerto Rico, youre 21 here.I hope the managers educate themselves.And for that, I have been a loyal Specs customer for the past four years and always discourage anyone I meet from going to Total Wine.

OMG!! Totally hate myself for not going soon er. The place is 80% wine. They have a backroom to rent for events. I took a TSACH class and Afterwards we received a WINE sampling. LoVeD It!!!#$% The guys on the floor know their stuff and recommend you what to pick based on ur budget.

We always go out of our way to come here for all our spirits. They have great deals, great customer service and a huge range of prices/qualifies/styles. If youre shopping for someone as a gift, especially if you dont drink the spirit yourself, theyre great with recommendations. The place was well kept and organized. Staff could be a little more friendly and more specific when finding things - it was my first time and I had to ask twice where to find specific beverages, which shouldn’t be hard right? Considering how organized it is, but it can be overwhelming, i don’t know if there’s an app or how they organize it alphabetically but that would be cool to know or at least when you walk into store so you can where to look. Check out was easy and the staff became friendlier. Overall, it’s a nice store with a lot of options and accessories!

This place has such a wide selection I had I start drinking again after discovering Total Wines & More. The staff is friendly, the place is always clean and organized, Specs better raise up their game cuz Total Wines is where its at.

I used to love coming here to get my favorite wine but after my last encounter, I will never be back. The employee at the checkout had the nerve to ask me “where my little friend was” (my daughter) in a very demeaning tone. The fact that the employee referred to my daughter as “my little friend” upsets me. Considering there were other children in the store, I left feeling very disappointed in the customer service I received.

I came to the one located in Baybrook mall and we were completely discriminated against. Its funny how a group of white males, in their early twenties, dont each have to show their ID when purchasing alcohol, but as soon as a black and Mexican come in here all of a sudden it is company policy and state law. I came here for their wide selection and prices, but I would honestly rather pay $30-$40 more somewhere else after what we witnessed. We didnt have one or two bottles either, we had over 5 bottles. I didnt argue with them, because I didnt want to ruin my night. This is, apparently, what we have to go through nowadays.

Very nice store! Has lots of variety of beers, vodka, and many more!! Went in on a Saturday, and they had samples for the customers to try! My ONLY concern though is, they take the checking ID way too far. Im 22, and I got checked a few times while I am in the store for my ID. They say they check people who LOOK under 30 for their ID. But I feel like they over do it. Wait to ID me at the register if I purchase something. I noticed too that the employees dont really approach young people.. (if youre in your 20s or 30s). Only people that over 50 years old, probably. Other than that, I mean its a great store. Very clean and organized. 3 stars for me though.
