Clean store. Good selection. Huge produce section. Would shop there again when were on that side of town

I always use to shop here since it was down the street from me and recently had horrible experience. I dont know if the refrigerators are broken but I bought cheese and as soon as I open it horrible smell came out the product had spoiled. I thought hmm probably bad pick then I bought milk I always go for the longer expired date as most do. When I picked the milk the jug wasnt that cold but it wasnt hot I didnt think to much of it. I shouldve went with my gut feeling it spoiled before the expiration date. Not learning my lesson I was craving ice cream I didnt want to drive to walmart or winco. So I bought my ice cream Im telling you I dont even live 5 min away for it to melt but when I got home it was kinda soft soupy texture so I put it in my freezer to firm up. After gettinf bad experience with cold good I decided only to buy produce and dry goods. Even with produce I wasnt safe I bought watermelon but It in season Im great when picking up perfect watermelon. We all know the trick if you tap on it of it hallow is going taste watery no flavor but if it sounds dense it going to be sweet. When I was cutting into the watermelon boy it looked good but when I went for the taste. I knew it was wrong the texture was rubbery and trying to give it the benefit of the doubt I tasted it boy it was gross. I went to Walmart to buy a watermelon and I did the same trick I did at foodmax and that watermelon was perfect it sweet and crispy with wonder crunch. I believe this store gets the lower quality produce and I would stay away from cold good and produce. If youre shopping for dry goods your probably safe I had no issues with that. Other than that be safe and shop at winco food Co or walmart. Stay safe yall

The tall oriental cashier is Guy is Rude. I asked him a question about the bakery in a cart for sale, he answered me very Rude. He’s been working there since they were at the willow & KIngscanyon location so I know he’ll get away with it because he can! I won’t be shopping there as much Will definitely choose Winco Or food co they’re cheaper & Big time Nicer employees at Winco but I just happened to be near the food max area so that’s why I shopped there that day.

Their good dont look for propane here tho because they are insane almost 7 bucks for one can walwart sells 2 for the same price.

Long lines, even their self check out is closer during the day. It’s be cheaper for them to just have those open and have someone watching that then paying two or more cashiers which they don’t even have that, just the one. Terrible.

They are a lot more expensive than WinCo and there is always one cashier. I just so happen to live right around the corner from Food Maxx, Otherwise I would never shop here.

Good location makes it 2 stars, do not come here unless you are doing self checkout, lines are worst then DMV, not to mention buckets for roof leaks when it rains.

Great prices! Always clean and friendly. Love getting birthday cakes here. Kids love the frosting. We always recommend.

Any other store I call has a system where they can look up merchandise and see if its in stock and lets you know the price range but not this store... They put me on hold forever just to tell me they have the item in stock but cant give me the price of it over the phone when that was the whole reason I was calling

Went early in the morning when they first opened.... The store was clean and plenty of associates to help.... Prices the items I purchased were actually pretty good... Cashier was friendly. Definitely will continue to shop there....

Good place to shop, I shop many time there. The only reason for 4 stars because one time the cashier was ringing my stuff and there was a cereal box she couldnt scan. She then start to talk bad about the person she going to call to check the price. I just think she need a little common sense especially in front of your customers.

This was our go to store all the time. They have great deals and low prices. Love shopping here growing up. From what I remembered this place was always clean and organized. The parking lot was big. This store is busy all the time. I moved out of state so I havent been here for years and I am not sure if my parents still shop here since they moved out of the area. But this place is pretty much my childhood grocery store. Miss this place.

They do have a good selection of different amount of different items to choose from. They had a big variety of healthy bread as well. But to many of similar kind made some dates to close to purchase. Nice meat & sliced quality cold cuts& different cheeses. Checkers efficient & friendly. A mix of higher & reasonable prices.

Clean speedy when I was there.

It was good. Fast at night.

1 checkout lane open. Went to self checkout for my 2 items. I needed an employee to verify purchases before I could pay. I had to wait while the cashier finished helping that customer. The cashier came, entered her information, then returned to her next customer. This trip took much longer than it should have. Not enough employees available for customer service.

Store was quite and well stocked

This FoodMaxx almost always has rotten food for sale whether it’s fresh produce or meat. You have to pick through with flies buzzing around to find decent food, Winco is nicer and better. Today, myself and 2 other customers waited to buy alcohol for 10 minutes after 6 employees passed by us, looked at us waiting there without saying a word then walked away. Finally just up and left after ringing the bell for service 5-6 times without help. It’s a Friday night you think people would be available to purchase alcohol.

Avoid this establishment. People tested positive for corona still walking in the store.

The store is pretty nice. I love that they added self check out and have a red box machine inside.I wouldve given 5 stars but there are a couple of bimbo cashiers there and a rude guy that works in produce.

Wide selection, fair prices, clean store and well maintained. I appreciated ease of the self check out and the helpfulness of the cashier who was assisting.

In two visits to this location Ive experienced both extremes. The latter of which left me queasy.Most of the produce were spoiled in their various displays. There were opened and half eaten products, seemingly placed back on the shelves. I came across 2 packages of meat that had been left in front checkout displays. I handed them to the cashier letting her know where I had found them.Upon my leaving I saw the cashier hand them off and that associate put them back in the cooler display. I was horrified! They were both room temperature when I found them.Im a label reader, neither were fresh to, safely, be resold. I let another associate know before exiting the store.I wont be returning.

Picked up my daughters birthday cup cakes after the bakery was closed and didnt realize I was speaking with the manager till after. He was so helpful. I had ordered 1 and a half dozen for pick up after I got off work the next day but wasnt told they dont usually do half dozens so the manager was so great about letting me know and had the cashier ring up my order the way I ordered it when though I told him I was happy to pay full price because of the trouble. He insisted because I wasnt told prior about the amounts. He was super nice! Plus this location was the cleanest one Ive been in!

They are still cleaning carts and there is someone at entrance to let people know about masks, went to Walmart and home depot they didnt have any thing to wipe off the carts.Big stores need to set examplesTHANKS FOODMAXX

I was surprised & thankful that they had A2 milk. They had a good dairy free milk selection as well

Love Food Max for huge bag of Tide $19.99 that last us 2 to 3 months for 7 people household. They also have fabric softer that makes your clothes smell wonderful for less then $4 for a huge bottle. The produce here is always fresh and prices low. You can buy coffee beans here by the pound and grind it here as well.

Ive only been here a couple of times for the bakery Dept. They helped me out with a design for my husbands cake I couldnt get anywhere else they saved me. The customer service was wonderful and the price was just as good. Very pleased.

I shop here because its bear my home but be aware of what you buy there, they ALWAYS leave expired food on shelves. Ive seen several day passed expired yogurts more than once. Bought 1 month expired tortilla chips. They dont care if you have the inconvenience of having to come back for an exchange.

Something that I love most about this location is how extremely clean and organized the grocery section is. The products never seem to be out of stock and always up to date with this seasons pickings!Associates are also very very friendly when approached with a question, which makes this location a double plus!Overall great service in such a large surrounding.
