I was looking to update some of my vehicles, and decided to check out the Mercedes Benz dealer in Bakersfield and Fresno. My experience at Bakersfield was awesome. In Fresno, I felt like they just wanted to take as much money as possible from me. If you have a lot of money to throw away, then it would be good here at Mercedes Benz Fresno.After how great I was treated in Bakersfield, I don’t think I will be returning to the one in Fresno.

This dealership cares about they’re customers. They’re employees are friendly and helpful. It’s a breath of fresh air buying a car with this good atmosphere. I would go back and do it again. The finance department was kind, friendly and helpful as well. Abraham is the gentleman that helped us in finance. They took the time to explain the details on how the car functions. Jason was the sales rep nice guy! Informative. I really can’t say enough good about the whole experience.

Horrible experience with the service department, they werent able to help me at all with something so simple like the Mbrace set-up, they had me calling different numbers and at the end they stopped responding my calls and messages, they act very entitled. Ill better go to Toyota, their customer service is 100% better.

My experience here was phenomenal. It was my first time buying a car on my own and I had the pleasure of receiving help from Mr. David Coquillette. I can’t express how thankful I am for all of his help and finding me exactly what I wanted! He was diligent and so kind from beginning to end. I would always avoid buying parts from dealerships, until I started driving my CLK430. Now Id almost insist my parts are from dealer or at the very least genuine MB parts. Even if I have to pay $50+ for 10 plastic clips.. Fresnos MB is a hit & miss. Ive been buying parts from them for 3-4 years now, and they just asked if I was in there system. Once, they didnt believe I had paid online and was there to pick up my order. He had to ask another to verify that it was in fact paid for. But he was looking at invoice the whole time. On the other hand, they have been very helpful on the phone and in person whenever I have trouble locating what I need.

Mercedes Benz of Fresno will scam you just like any other nonreputable dealer would. Take your business elsewhere and save yourself a bunch of headaches. If you do decide to buy a car from these thieves make sure you test the car 100% bumper to bumper as if it was yours to ensure the car works as intended.When in the process of the purchase I was told by the sells representative to test drive the vehicle in the city streets where speed limits don’t go over 50MPH.I liked the vehicle and I bought it. The next day after the purchase I drove the car in the highway for the first time and I realized that once I reached speeds of 60MPH or higher and I applied the break, the vehicle vibrated excessively. I immediately contacted the sells representative to make him aware of the situation and requested that they fix the car. Sells representative said he was going to talk to his Manager and see what could be done about it. The manager Armando Perez was able to get me a “complimentary” inspection on the vehicle. It was determined that the car needs brakes and rotors but wanted me to pay for the work at a “discounted” rate even though they sold me a $33,000 car that doesn’t work properly.Additionally, shortly after the brake problem, I realized that when the RPMs hit 3,500 or higher the car pulls right.Had I notice these problems upon test drive, I would have NOT made the purchase.To all future buyers, test the vehicle 100% before you make your purchase.

I ordered a part slidingroof glass at this place. I checked price on their website $2900. For make sure, I called to them and asked if it available, a guy told that I can order and it available for 2 days. I told that I will make payment via website with $2900 and he said that I have to pay $4400 if I come and pay. I paid online and 2 hours later, they send me an email that the part isn’t available. I don’t believe them.I update that I called to the phone number the owner provide here after I receive cancellation email. The guy answer me that they can’t control price on their website and discount price was added by someone. So, I think their price is unreliable and them as well.

We bought several Mercedes cars and/or SUV. We needed to learn more about using some features in the ML350.We asked the front desk in person about who can help. The young lady at the front desk said Cecilia (aka Cece) Nguyen, Customer Relations Manager can help. However, Cece was with her customer who had an appointment. I was told that she would call me back once done. I left my information and left the dealership.Hours went by without getting any call back. I drove back and saw Cece with another appointment. I waited for nearly half an hour without avail. I had to leave again.Today, almost a week passed without getting a phone call from Cece.The questions are:1) Did the front desk give Cece my contacts?2) Did Cece get my info but did not follow-up?3) what else could have happened?4) Will Scott Biehl, Owner/Dealer Operator be unhappy with the above?Looking forward to resolving this issue amicably.

I had a terrible experience with this dealership. They literally set my brand new Mercedes on fire and did little to rectify the issue had I not forced it. Took a brand new car in for service, drove it home, smoke began billowing out of the engine compartment. Took me three attempts to reach the service department and they could not have been more dismissive. Had to tell the secretary three times my car was on fire and i need to know if there is a fuel shut off because i dont want it to blow. When I reached the service advisor and explained the issue he said Call the fire department because we close in an hour. Meanwhile, we tried to roll it out of the garage for fear it would blow the house. Extinguished the fire. Called the roadside service because it was under warranty and had it towed to Mercedes-Benz of Fresno and they could not even call us. I had to call them days later to ask for an update. Service Director asked me if I had rats at my house. Said he thought a rat may have dragged a rag into the engine compartment and left it on the exhaust manifold to catch fire. Shows me a picture of a red rag burnt to a crisp. I told him that was impossible and we dont have red rags but in the background of his photo I could see red rags in the shop. I said it looks eerily similar to your rags that you use to do oil changes. He acquiesced and agreed. One of the techs left an oil rag in the engine compartment during service and it caught fire because of the heat. They offered to repair it. Told me it was fine and the owner of the dealership said he inspected it himself. Picked up the vehicle only to find smoke damage on the hood, the engine cover was melted, and the fire wall still partially burned. The service director agreed that all that needed to be fixed. Weeks went by while they conducted the second repair. They called and this time when I picked it up they ruined my rims and quarter panel. Luckily I had photos and video from the fire to prove the condition it was in prior to them damaging it further. Had to order the wheel from Germany, took 6 weeks. Then their machine was down that is used to replace the wheel. More weeks passed by. The incident happened in October, I didnt receive my car back until December. Two months without a vehicle and not even offered a loaner even thought it was under warranty. Terrible experience. I would avoid this dealership and find another that is customer service oriented. I now take my vehicle all the way to Monterey to be serviced. Not one to leave reviews but my patience and understanding ran out this week after yet another interaction with the management at this dealership.Thank you for your response, you do indeed have record of this issue because I certainly do. I dealt with Kevin who was the service director at the time as well as the owner of the dealership. Does not surprise me though to hear you deny it.

Received my 2018 AMG Gle43 upgraded from 2014 E-class 350, delivered to my home. After a 8 weeks my sun roof stops operating, it closes half way. Now i have to wait a week with open roof, allergies and all :-) Not sure why a CPO worth over $60k will have an issue with a sun roof. Considering changing to a different car make. Expected more quality from Mercedes-Benz. Great cars but Im disappointed.

Communication with this dealership is horrible. I inquired about a Alfa Romeo QV that they are selling and spoke to Stephen. Sent over my information and he said he would get back to me regarding my options. While speaking to him on the phone he would also hang up during the conversation. He is rude and unprofessional. Purchased my previous Mercedes in Modesto and their service is better but these kind of interactions remind me of why I stay away from Mercedes Benz!

I brought my car in to have 2 tires replaced. I love the tires, however it seemed to me that Mercedes-Benz should have a little more pride in their work. They left the glue or whatever they use to seat the tire with all over the tire. They could have at minimum cleaned their product they installed on my car. I expected more of Mercedes-Benz!

I would not recommend this dealership. I tried to buy a car here but after agreeing to a price they tried to slip in an extra $1895 for Zurich paint and fabric protection. When I told Sam my salesman he said I had to pay for it as it was already installed. When I told him it was not what I agreed to or wanted he became angry and went from high pressure to bullying to try and force me to agree to it. I do not know if this is illegal but it sure is unethical.

Very disappointed in the service department. Service adviser didnt seem to care about satisfying the issue with a smell in my A/C. Its been in twice for the same issue and is a known problem. They keep pointing the blame at me for misuse. Want me to turn it off a few minutes before stopping the car and leaving it on vent before I shut it off. I live in Fresno and have very hot summers. The car smells like a locker room! The last visit they said I have rodents in the car! Come on guys. Stop lying to me. Ive owned several Mercedes in the past. This dealer use to have the best service in town but not no more.In response to Mercedes of Fresno. Those marks on the engine cover were not Rodent tracks.They were marks from me throwing the cover for the cabin filter on top of the motor in frustration! Just admit it. You guys dont have a clue of what it is. Even tho theres a nation wide class action law suite going!

I’ve previously owned my Mercedes vehicles in Florida and had amazing service . I moved here in 2018 with a brand new GLC but for 3 years, the service at Fresno Mercedes has been deplorable . If it’s not one thing it’s another! My very first experience was bad- called on a Saturday as CarPlay wasn’t working; they reported that only one technician could fix it and to come in. Upon arrival, 20 minutes later, I was told that person was gone for the day already ! Every SINGLE time I’ve had to get a service or tire changes, or part replacement, there’s poor communication and this past service was the ABSOLUTE WORST. Less than ZERO customer service from the person answering the phone at the service department to the service “advisor” I had this time. Richie has absolutely no idea what customer service is and my husband who was with me on a knee scooter with an arm splint and ankle boot from recent injuries stood out in the cold barely a hello from this person; while we visits. Audi next door 20 minutes after and were welcomed and helped like you’d expect at A luxury car dealership; they were so kind to my obviously injured husband too at Audi . Richie was not upfront about the service cost and when he called me back as I requested he was EXTREMELY rude and aggressive . I refuse to deal with him again and though I love my vehicle, this dealership has completely turned me off over the past three years and is the only reason I won’t be getting another Mercedes when my lease is up in a few weeks! I can’t believe how dismissive and rude these people are. Takes weeks to get an appointment with a loaner; shuttle service is no longer available and the loaner we got this time was disgusting smelled like an ashtray and exacerbated my asthma. They didn’t care when I let them know. Piss poor service ; one star is being kind because I can’t rate negative ten !

I bought a new Mercedes from Mercedes Benz of Fresno and I kept it for a year before I traded it in for a new one. I purchased the gap and extended warranty so they definitely made money off of me. I tried calling them at least 10 times to get refunded for the gap and they literally ignored me every time and kept saying they will call me back. Never received a call back or got my gap refund. Never again will I buy another Mercedes from this dealership.

I wish I could give them a NO STAR RATING!!! My experience with this place is horrible! I’m really upset because it’s 2:09pm right now and I’ve been trying to get in touch with an advisor there because I have a flat tire! (By the way they close today at 7PM) This whole time I’m calling and their transferring me over to “an advisor,” no one has been picking up! It’s been over an hour since I’ve been trying to get in touch with them. And when I did get in touch, they said that their not busy and that everyone has left home early... REALLY? So busy they couldn’t pick up the phone to say so? So busy that they couldn’t just tell me that their service department is closing before transferring my call over to people who didn’t want to answer their phones? This place is Worthless! Trash! Their customer service is the worst beware of this place!!

I believe her name is Sandra a sales rep she literally made sure the vehicle I wanted to purchase wasn’t on any pending sales (which is wasn’t) I was on my way to Fresno when I received a call from her saying the vehicle had been sold right before I was on the way just the way she came off was very rude and unprofessional sad to say! I was on a road trip and my check engine light turned on. So, I googled the nearest Mercedes-Benz dealership to get it checked out. I called and was told I could walk in. I pulled up and everything went smoothly. I gave the check-in person my keys and signed up for a complimentary car wash then went inside. My partner and I sat and waited with two cups of coffee. When the service advisor, Abel Lara, came out to update us on our car’s progress he was extremely rude to both my partner and I. He didn’t even feel like it was necessary to explain the details of our cars issue. All he wanted was to send us along our way. Maybe he was having a bad day, but I’m not paying extra money to have a dealership treat me poorly. I like to know that my car is getting looked at by a professional and am happy to pay extra for great service. Also, he didn’t even wash our car even through we were told we would receive one.Updated:We were comfortably up and prepared to wait a long time for service and were glad to hear back from the service advisor earlier than expected, but we were not acting hurried in any way. Because they didnt have the part I needed at the location, an O2 sensor, I asked if Id have to pay for another diagnostic when I can get to a dealership that has an O2 sensor in stock and I was assured that I wouldnt have to pay the $212 fine again and that the results would be updated on my account so another dealership could pick up where they left off. This promise wasnt fulfilled and upon getting to my home dealership they didnt know anything about the diagnostic I received in Fresno. Im wondering why I even bothered stopping through Mercedes of Fresno when all that happened was a shake-down for $212 and then they sent me on my way. No stock in simple parts, and a negative service experience. I called requesting a refund for the lack of service and was told I would get a call back. Still waiting on that call.Update to owners comment: They are lying. Tread with caution.

RUN DON’T WALKSales staff will lie to you and try to run credit checks even when you have a letter of approval from you credit union. Found the car we wanted on Wednesday night but it had a couple things that needed to be fixed. So weTold them we would take the car when it was fixed. Friday we called and yes it was fixed, after making the 90 mile round trip for the second time the car was not fixed. We let the salesman drive it back so he could see for himself and he was mad and drove almost 80 mph in and out of cars getting back. Made use feel a little worried. He still wanted us to take the car “it’s under warranty” he says you can have it fixed yourself. With only 27 days left on the warranty. Then they added some bogus stuff on the price. They are not trustworthy Run don’t Walk

HORRIBLE customer service ! The first time I brought my car in I had 1 light on and they told me I had a recall on it . They fixed the recall and I left the dealership with 2 lights on ! I went back and said that it wasn’t something they did and that it was only a matter of time before the light came on . I got the problem fixed at a specialized Mercedes shop and he told me that the light was a recall problem . I spoke with Abel Lara and he argued with me and was resistant to even taking a look at my car to which he said it would be $200+ for a diagnostic . He finally agreed to check it out, waited all day and for him to tell me it was a recall and they fixed it free of charge . I went in another day to fix the auto lamp function . I had an appt time and they NEVER even touched my car after waiting all day . I texted their automated messages and never received a reply until I called his office and he told me it was never seen to come back the next day . I would’ve understood if I did a walk in but I had an appt ! I then went back, tried to speak to the manager Jeremy Farminer and I could see him thru the window shaking his head no and shooing me away because he didn’t want to deal with me ! I was then referred to Brandon Puga . Very nice and very speedy service ! The ONLY person with great customer service ! Had me in and out in no more than 3 hours ! The only one who receives a 5 star rating !

I recently took in two vehicles. One of them I was OVERCHARGED for my service. The second one needed new brake pads. I was charged for both services and my cars were not completely serviced. When I called to complain the service advisor was defensive and hostile and eventually hung up on me. One week later I broke down on the 99 freeway and had to take my car to another Mercedes dealer. They notified me my car was not serviced correctly and that I STILL needed new brake pads. I will NEVER return to Mercedes Benz of Fresno.

The service department here is phenomenal. Weve owned several luxury brand vehicles and had them serviced at dealerships both in Fresno and southern California. Mercedes-Benz of Fresno is the all star! They always manage any warranty claims with ease, scheduling service and a loaner is a breeze, and drop off/pick-up has me out in 5 minutes. Abel is our service advisor. He is very personable, knowledgeable, and not pushy. Picking up our vehicle its cleaner than its been in months (3 kids!) and brought out quickly, with a smile. A small touch that I thought was particularly kind was the service rep that brought my car out opened my door, shut it for me after I got in, and made sure to say Have a nice day and stay safe. We also currently own a BMW and have it serviced at the dealership in town, it is a nightmare. Our experience at MB is night and day!

The customer service at this branch was underwhelming and disappointing. In 2017 we brought two cars from this branch and the salesman was amazing, going above and beyond for us and we were extremely happy with our purchases. However, I can’t say the same for my most recent visit. I made an appointment to talk to a salesperson about my options for trade-in and buying a new car. I arrived, this salesperson completely neglected me as a buyer and was only interested in securing a deal. He didn’t take the time to listen or understand why I was there and what I was looking for. He immediately started showing me cars. He failed to introduce himself, I didn’t find out his name until halfway through, I also found it interesting that while going in and out of the building, he would opened the door and walked in first instead opening the door for his client, common curtesy. We went back to my car to get the car registration and proof of insurance, I handed it to him and immediately leaves, I had to find my way back to his desk. When I told him I didn’t feel 100 percent sure about this deal because it felt rushed, he wasn’t pleased and became dismissive. I told him that I didn’t get my car registration back and he told me he would leave it at the front desk and I could ask the secretary for it. He didn’t make any effort to establish a relationship with me. The lack of common curtesy and customer service was the reason why I ended up declining the deal.

The car wash experience was terrible I washed my car with the top wash package according to them I paid $189 for detailed wash. they said this is a top-notch and I went to pick up the car, there is dust outside dust on the windshield dust on the doors inside, liquid spots in the cup holder. I called in the receptionist showed her everything and she said the service manager is gone and she will email him I left my car there. picked it up a day after. 50% was cleared 50% was still on. the staff is nice but the job is crazy I don’t know what to say. Other car washes can do this job for $29 and better than them.

My husband and I bought a brand new sprinter, we have only had it 3 weeks and its in the shop with 3 different problems. The big seller from the sales person was how they provide a vehicle if we ever have to have it worked on. We paid cash $55,000 for this Van and now its having the leaky brakes done, the A/C needs a new fan and the whistling window all needs fixed. We bought this van to work out of it as we have a floor covering business and now they tell us they dont have a vehicle for us to use while they have our van for a min of 2 weeks (parts coming from Germany). So we are left with the option of not scheduling work for 2 weeks or renting something to work out of. Either option I think they should pay for it for selling us a lemon of a van....... brand new off the lot?Update:Chris at the service dept went above and beyond to fix the Van!!! Now we can continue making $$$$ and not put our customers on hold!Another update: after being encouraged to change my review by Chris we have been left hanging on the final repair they said that they had to order a part for. STILL WAITING!!!!Update: finally got fixed but I have taken my time on this update like they took their time to fix it.

This is a customer service rating. Too pushy to sell the car. Says a lot of bad things about the other German car companies to up sell the MB. My sales guy left to get me a card and saw him with another customer. I was a little offended when he was adamant about me leasing. Why would anyone jump to such conclusions? Quality car, but the service lives up to the bad opinions about this branch. You should just sell to the guy who owns Fresno Porsche/Audi/BMW because the sales teams there made my shopping experience comfortable and it’s not even close. The German cars are excellent and the service should match.

In January I was traveling in my 2018 Pleasureway Plateau TS when I suddenly lost power and pulled over to the side of the road. I had recently hit 20000 miles on the odometer. I had roadside assistance come. They found a fuel leak with fuel everywhere under the hood. He fixed the leak with zip ties. It started but only ran about 5 miles. I was then towed to Kettleman City so I would be in a safe place, then later towed to Mercedes Benz in Fresno.While at the dealer in Fresno I was told they didn’t have the exact part but could fix it so I could be on my way and make it to my shift at work. A short time later Chris Klein came to me and told me nothing would be covered by warranty because I had an oil change done by someone who was not a Mercedes dealership. And the fix would cost almost $400, later decreased to $299. A while later I was called into an office with Chris and told that my RV would not start and they needed to run diagnostics which would cost $1400-1900 and take 6 hours. Nothing being covered by warranty. I was also told several times because of that oil change that was done by someone that was not a Mercedes dealership, nothing would be covered by warranty in the future. I called my mechanic in Salinas who I have known over 8 years. A mechanic I trust. The MB people reiterated to him that my warranty was void because of the oil and fuel filter change. I arranged to have the RV towed to Salinas because I felt I could not trust these people and all the charges would come out of my pocket anyway since I now did not have a warranty.I feel I was bullied into a progression of threats. A knowledgeable mechanic would have been able to diagnose the problem immediately. It took my mechanic about 30 seconds. My van would not start because it was OUT OF FUEL! It had an empty fuel tank because of the fuel leak. If I had left my van at Mercedes Benz, I could have been cheated out of thousands of dollars and never known the truth. As it is I was completely taken advantage of as a single alone female. They seemed way more concerned with being sure I knew I had screwed up my warranty then with fixing my RV.A few days later I received a text from Chris saying Mercedes Benz hopes I am completely satisfied and they “will do everything in our power to gain my complete satisfaction.”I sent a letter and I was finally contacted by a group from Mercedes Benz by phone on March 13. I did not feel I was going to get any kind of satisfactory answer and was told they would send me an email reiterating our phone conversation. I never received that email. I did receive a letter saying they did not feel they had any responsibility and a check for the $299. They said if I had left it there they MAY have come to the same conclusion. If I had not been repeatedly told that my RV was no longer under warranty, of course I would have left it there. But believing I would be paying out of pocket for everything and would probably never know the truth I chose to put it in the hands of someone I trusted.I then contacted the Mercedes Benz customer care and after numerous phone calls and emails did get a call from Fresno. It cost me about $3000 in tow bills, rental cars, a place to sleep ( I live in it full time), and lost wages when it could have been diagnosed in 30 min by a knowledgeable mechanic. They did finally say they would give me $400 and that my warranty is good and I should have known that all along.I have since learned that under federal law it is illegal for a dealer to deny warranties because someone other than the dealer worked on a vehicle. I have also learned that it is a common tactic for a dealer to imply that a warranty is void. It is so obvious to me this is exactly what they were doing.I would not trust MB of Fresno ever. And I have read plenty of reviews here that tell me many others feel the same. And, honestly they should be very embarrassed. It was out of fuel!

Nothing but liars. I brought a extended warranty with my used cls550. They have new owners and claim they can’t find anywhere in the system my car is covered. I had to go home get my paper work (bill of sale) and come and proof it to then. Now I have to wait for a manager to approve? No apologies? All I get is “things are different now” and now I’ve waited a week and still haven’t heard anything from the dealership. And I’m going to head up there. Look at the reviews from this dealership in the past 3 months. Nothing but bad. So much for the best or nothing. Sad...I’m going to stay away from this place and rather drive to Bakersfield.

Before going through my insurance, I took my car to the Mercedes-Benz of Fresno for a front end tire and suspension check after hitting an 8 inch deep pothole that obviously bent my rims. I explained I needed any damages in writing for the city. It’s about $185 for dealer to look at that stuff. They said they looked at the shocks and drove it and it was perfect... 🤔two rims obviously bent and a shake in the steering wheel..? I don’t think they even test drove it. Just because I have a job and paid $185 doesn’t mean they can scam me! That’s why I went through my insurance after and two other shops that didn’t even charge me noticed the bent rims with a visual!!!!!! Where’s the customer service?Disappointed all around. Now they have been calling trying to buy back my car or cash me out or upgrade me. Ive had to call twice to be asked to be removed from their calls. Not one effort to make the previous experience right. I even tried reaching out to the service manager that assisted with my appointment and he never got back to me. First let me say that this is one of the most exceptionally laid back, no pressure dealerships Ive ever been to...and Ive been to a lot. We were calmly greeted by Paul Gregory. Even though the dealership was about to close, Paul never rushed us one bit. In fact, without us asking, he went to grab several keys for a few cars that we were interested in. And he was so pleasantly casual about it, one would think that the dealership had just opened for the day. Paul was also extremely knowledgeable. Im still flabbergasted at the deal we got and how smooth the transaction was. Now I have this Beautiful, Black Orange Edition Mercedes-Benz in my garage. If youre looking for a Mercedes, I recommend heading to Mercedes-Benz of Fresno. When you get there, dont forget to ask for Paul.

All I have to say is that it is very very very sad that I had to return my Mercedes an only got to drive it for 16 days because the management the staff and the service department don’t know how to communicate with eachother and I was toyed around like I wasn’t even a loyal customer. Both me and my fiancé purchased vehicles from this dealership (one Mercedes & one non Mercedes). One of the big selling points for both of us was the free car washes for life. First of all, it was near impossible to get a wash on the weekend (I work 50+ hours during the week) so getting in during the week was near impossible. Then tonight, I receive an email from the “new ownership group” that states you will only receive a free car wash after service is performed on your car at the dealership. They really massaged the words in the email citing the change is from issues not related to most customers. I will NEVER purchase another car from them or recommend someone do so. Going through a broker that doesn’t purchase from them if another Merceds is in my future. Major failure “new ownership group”! See ya!======UPDATE to the “owners” response.I have never seen a response from a business “owner” like this.1. “You never want to disappoint.” Please explain. I’ll wait.2. You apologize without a true resolution. Junk!3. You’re a luxury car brand, so your job is to never disappoint.
