Very high APRs overall would not recommend for someone that has ok to decent credit, if you have bad credit this might be your only choice if you want a car out the dealer honestly. The car i wanted was retailed at $17,000 (before taxes,fees and warranty). I was willing to put down $6,000 and my APR was still at 14%. That is very high considering im paying 1/3 of the retail price. However before that, they pulled up a qoute with $2,600 down with the APR sitting at 22%!! My advice to you guys is to try getting an auto loan through your bank at a much lower APR. They do not work with other bank loans so just find another dealer that does. If you have been banking with your bank for a couple of years and are getting direct deposit you may have a chance! 👌🏼👌🏼

Ive owned at least 20-25 cars in my lifetime and this by far has been the best car buying experience Ive ever had. The website was user friendly, the response time for questions was quick and the customer service was great! An acquaintance was supposed to help me purchase a car over 3 months ago. I was able to do a little research, make an appt online and purchase my car within 1 hour and 49 minutes. Unbelievable! And as long as my car does me right, DriveTime will receive referrals from me. I bought a car not even a month ago and its already been in the shop for the alignment. I was tricked into signing for a warranty. Even after I said no that my bank already offers that. I told them I want to cancel the contract and its been a week with nothing but a run around. They assured everything was easy. But I have had nothing but problems. Now that they are taking so long to cancel the contract they tricked me into signing for. So now they are saying I have to pay for some of the warranty I never wanted in the first place. The sell reps are scammers and so is silverrock. They work together to scam you. I sign for a 12,000 dollar car that was 2,000 over the blue book. Then added almost 4,000 dollars on top of that over warranty. Getting me denied my refinancing from my bank unless I pay the 4,000 out of pocket. Please do not by from this company. Its been a nightmare and I just want to cry. But being a man makes it hard and so its emotionally affecting me too. I have called so many places for help. Next is a lawyer

We went into DriveTime about a week ago and was helped by an associate named Jake. He then went on to speak to us as if he did not want to help us. After he attempted to sell us a Lexus with a $10,000 down payment. We came in again today in hopes that we could try to get another associate. We got Jake again. After he recognized us he tried to sell us the same Lexus again but said that the down payment was $2,500. At that time I requested another associate and to speak to his manager. The manager came to help but was very dismissive to our issue. I do not recommend spending your money with DriveTime based on the customer service they provide.

This was my best experience with a car dealership. Each staff that I encountered was professional and friendly. The process was easy. Drive time staff were methodical and proficient.

Honestly I almost believed the bad reviews, when I tell y’all my credit is poor it’s below the poverty line right now so I was hesitant with the fact I’d be stuck with a bad deal but I appreciate this dealership with working with me and getting me into a good car for not that much down and a reasonable monthly payment. Definitely would recommend Armando for looking out at this location, he truly seems like a trustworthy guy compared to other dealers I’ve tried. It’s worth the shot !

I bought a car from drivetime and I drove my car less than 2 weeks and under 500 miles before my brakes completely failed while I was driving the car. To my astonishment I was told they could do nothing for me and I would have to deal with not having a car while they figured out what happened. Considering that I was sold a vehicle that put my life in danger and received some of the worst customer service and absolutely zero empathy for the situation I would recommend finding a vehicle somewhere else that considers there customers safety before, during, and after the sale of a vehicle.

It was a very fast and fun time picking out my car. The agent Garret was great and I didn’t feel pressure to buy, he took the time to hear what I wanted and stayed with in my budget. I will be back to purchase my next car.

I would definitely recommend Drive Time Fresno location to everyone. I just recently purchased a vehicle from them and the service I received was excellent. I made it to the dealership about 5 minutes before they closed and I was still invited in and ask to wait as everyone else had left and Wes was the only salesman and he was working with a customer. While I was waiting Ian came out to help me even though his job is not as a car salesman he showed me all my options and set me up for a test drive that night the test drive didnt happen because the car battery was dead. I was offered another option or I could wait for them to get a new battery the next day I wanted that car so I waited. I was assured that the car would be ready first thing in the morning and it was. I finished all of my paperwork with Wes and drove home in my new vehicle which I love.

She never once rushed me or made me feel uncomfortable.So far I love the car I purchased, its a great size for my big family.I just unfortunately need to replace the battery because I took it in to get checked they said it was a DEAD BATTERY 🤦🏾‍♀️. This was a good first time experience. Juan and Eric were very helpful. Wesley Read was amazing. They were all very friendly and werent bad to look at to boot. The company they used to finance the loan however is true to form in that they nickel and dime with all these fees. Be prepared to pay an extra $500+ because they charge to accept a payment. I would come here again but finance through other means.

Juan was amazing! Came from Sacramento with my mom, not only did he pick us up from the train station but he was patient and informative. Coming from 3 hours away was definitely a decision I was skeptical about but in the end worked out better than we couldve imagined. Highly recommend Drive time and most importantly Juan!

I applied online to see if I would get approved for a particular car on the lot, my approval came back with a quote that I would only need to have $195.00 for a down payment and since I only applied for this one particular car I assumed that the down payment quote was correct, so I set up an appointment to come by and look at the car and talk about financing. The following day a rude man from the lot called to follow up and make sure I was still planning to come by and check out the car, at that point I started asking questions about the online pre approval down payment amount. The man said that everyone gets that amount quoted to them when they are approved online but the amount is only correct if I’m planning on buying a car that costs less than $12,000.... why didn’t they disclose that when I applied!? Such a waste of time!! After reading other reviews about how Drivetime does business... predatory loans with higher than average interest rates, and cars that break down and have problems right away. Stay away from here.

I bought a car from them and had some issues with the car a few WEEKS later. They offered no help, even though I bought the extended warranty. I think bc they sell cars to people with bad credit, they take advantage. My interest rate was 20% (recent bankruptcy due to medical bills). So I had to make a large down payment to lower the interest. I definitely think it’s predatory lending because they didn’t tell me what my final interest rate was until the day I bought the car. Like I said, because I had enough money for a down payment, my interest was lower. Also, their customer service is terrible! My car died and I needed something immediately. My advice would be to shop around.

The service is great. However the car isnt. In 9mths my car has been to the shop 4 times. Twice before the 30 days was up. Whoever their mechanics are suck. Then silver rock take forever to let them know to fix your car or not.
