Best place for Nike bathing suit. Price are affordable and something is always on sale. No dressing rooms, thats a bummer but so far not a problem. Friendly staff. Overall a good place to shop.

I always have a great experience at Big 5 sporting goods. They have quality products at a great price. I get alot of shoes for the whole family. I get alot of my boxing and hunting gear there also. Swiming gear rafts, baseball and soccer gear. Ill upload some pics to show the types of stuff I get, to do the things we do. Weather its hiking shoes, backpacking, boxing gear or whatever it is. Something in these pics has something we got from BIG 5. Big 5 on Shaw was awesome the staff is friendly and helpful we went looking for some sports equipment they showed us all the items that we were needing I love the deals that they have their you also can get a military discount if you have your military ID I will definitely be recommending this place to others and I will be going back again

Good Store! We Were able to find quick items for the snow, Cheap prices too. Its a little cluttered with everything they got going on.. Also no hand held basket, we had to carry everything by hand for the snow. Lots of poofy wear.. Your hands get full fast be aware..

Only giving 2 stars because the person that helped me on the phone was VERY nice and helpful.I was “exchanging” a brown pair of Bearpaws for a black pair that was also a different size.The RETURN PRICE was $54.99 and the PURCHASE PRICE was $49.99... cool I get $5 towards my other purchases I thought. The cashier, Gabrielle, asked the manager if she should just make them the same price.... what? I didn’t know you could charge me MORE just because I was exchanging.Mind you there is a wait to get in which is understandable but when I was being helped (finally) I realized why it was taking them SO LONG to help the ppl trying to check out in the line that was all the way to the back of the store; they were busy watching/talking and laughing at/about a customer that was trying to get something in their car.Shame on the manager for charging me $5 extra dollars and for distracting your employees rather then getting customers in and out.

I went looking for snow clothes and thought some items were a little overpriced. The atmosphere hasnt changed since I was a lot younger. We did not see any carts or baskets to help with the items we were carrying. Customer service was okay.

They have great prices on really good shoes. They also impress me with technology deals on watches and cameras.

Went in asking if they had any swim stuff, I was told no. I thought it was strange they didnt have swim stuff at the start of water polo season. Walked for two minutes, found it. Need to train employees better. Also, there pricing wasnt marked correctly on the tags versus what they had it advertised for.

Never had a problem with anything. I always get help I need. Have great toys and perfect gifts for kids from age of 7-12 were its hard elsewhere to get for that age group. Quality of items are not bad either

Great Customer Service! Bought a bike on display and it broke after a few days and on top of that I lost my receipt but they looked it up and gave a refund. Even offered to order a new bike if I was still interested. Very friendly and pleasant experience. Will definitely come back to this store

Had wat I was looking for I bought a back brace went home to try it and it was to small so I went back to return it and they let me exchange it no problem and they let me open it in there to try it on which helped me cause I got the right size at a chipper price and they gave me the difference in cash .

Went for a soccer ball, cleats, shinguard sale. The people who helped us were very nice. We were able to get what we wanted and leave. They even checked in the back for a size. I know that sounds like something they should do, but so many stores dont even bother checking if they have anything anymore. So it was nice.

I always shop here at this location because I always get GREAT SERVICE AND FANTASTIC PRICES. BUT, this particular visit was a little different. My shopping experience was out of this world. The young man who helped me was really busy. He was taking care of not 1, not 2, but 3 customers at once. I was his 4th!!! He was PHENOMENAL!! He not only remembered my shoe size, he remembered both brands along with everyone else. I was TOTALLY BLOWN AWAY with his PROFESSIONALISM AND SERVICE. This young man will go very far in his life. Thanks for the GREAT SERVICE!!!

I was able to find my tent on sale for 29 dollars they had a few more in stock w coupon I got it for 27 dollars. I am iffy on the brand so I asked the sale associate. I set my tent up and if I dont like it will I be able to bring it back? There was a floor manager walking by heard my question and said with manager approval receipt yes I can bring it back even after I use it and dont like it. Thats great I like to read the reviews everyone says this tent is not good in the wind. But I like to try for myself usually the reviews are never accurate.

Customer Service is on point. Like everyone else, ammunition is scarce, but they were very helpful.

Cramped aisles were hard to maneuver. Not easily accessibled for walking assisted individuals. Sale item I had seen on their online site was readily available and at said price.

Always has what I need

Friendly staff greeted me as I walked through the door of a seemingly hostile parking lot as there was a police car with its lights on and some poor soul lucky enough to be the focus of those lights. Although they were obviously understaffed the young lady at the register broke away and helped me find what I was looking for. I give it 5 stars for excellent fire under pressure and would recommend maybe going during the day to avoid any parking lot light shows!

Called regarding a item that was on sale.was told by employee that they had plenty of the item in question. This was not the case. In fact they were sold out. Mind you it only took me 20 mins to drive there after hanging up.

Bad customer service: I was literally leaning on the side of the register for 5 or more minutes and none of the workers there asked if I needed help. I Finally got their attention. The clerk announced over the intercom for an item I had on hold 3/4 times before someone Finally came back w it. Thanks Big 5 for the hold. Costumer service needs lots of work. Negative stars if I could, I use to come here all the time, but one bad experience ruined that. And I dont understand what the purpose of having loss prevention, Im assuming stand guard by the door, thats not very welcoming more so intimidating.I came with my mother to return an item that did not hold up, receipt in hand and cashier would not accept. When my mother asked for a manager the cashier gave a roll of the eyes and called for him. He would not accept it either. While my mother inquiring about why they wouldnt accept, the original cashier kept making faces, rolling eyes and laughing with the other cashier. By this time my mother had asked for the corporate office number and he was hesitant, would not give it, saying it was a personal cell number. We dont want a personal number we want the office number to speak with someone. He takes off to the side room by the guns and the guy standing guard decides to add his two cents saying we dont give out personal numbers, yada yada yada, which we never wanted in the first place. Meanwhile the cashiers are still giggling away making faces at my mother while she attempts to find the number off of google. Manager comes back, gives us a number, we leave and call and it was a number to another store in California. When we inquired about the item to them, they said they would accept it and issue a refund and didnt understand why the store wouldnt do the same.Fast forward a few days later we take the item to another store and asked to speak directly to manager, after a brief discussion he issues a refund, problem solved in 5 minutes and he didnt understand why the other store didnt do it either.A lack of professionalism from the employees and manager lost some good loyal customers.Oh well.

This location offers better selection than my local Big 5. It also has more customers, so the clearance items are cheaper. I am always able to find an acceptable pair of sneakers here.

I get the new law regarding ammo in California, but how could Big 5 NOT sell ammo to military servicemembers?! Clearly they dont get the information on how to sell to servicemembers that are stationed in California! But then of course, Big 5s employees just work there and are not the subject matter expert on guns and ammo laws. Posting this so other servicemembers know not to waste time with Big 5 and go to sportsmans Warehouse instead.

The staff had terrible customer service. I waited for almost an hour for help and that is after asking 3 different times. Them they didnt know anything about the merchandise!

This store is never busy whenever I go in, really nice. They do need to do better at stocking the shelves, every time I go there for baseball stuff they have to go get it from the back.

I went there for a pair of work boots and they had a fair selection,I bought a pair only because they were on sale. They have a better selection of athletic shoes and really good sale prices.

I walked in a 1/2 hour before closing time looking for shoes I noticed three employees working went back there to look for shoes looked around trying to find a size couldnt find somebody to help me there was a family of 4 also looking for shoes and a family of two looking for shoes. I walk to the front to ask if anybody was working in shoes. they called by intercom for customer help at shoes, had a guy come out from the back he had been helping six people while 3 employees at the front were standing around there laughing with each other doing nothing helping no one.

Big 5 is an affordable choice for basic sporting goods. I come to Big 5 any time Im in need of cleats, shinguards, snow boots, and even basic camping supplies. It may be smaller than some of its competitors, but the selection is comparable.

Still my go to store for shoes. Always have the best sales.
