Thru the TITU VALLEY CAN program. I took my car here. They said I needed. catalytic converter replacement. They used 741.00 of. a voucher and I paid them 214.00 cash. As soon as I drove my car there was a rattle that did not exist before. Now they want to charge more to inspect the noise created for doing a botched job. Do not take your car here. These men are crooks and scammers.

Worst service ever. Owner is disrespectful and rude. He slammed my hood out of rage for a mistake he made and now I have to repair my hood. I would not recommend this shop for any kind of services. Arrived in a Porsche and jumped from the car to ask if it was the correct place. The very rude person shouted at us saying we had to move the car and park in other place, didn’t give us a second, just shouted “MOVE, MOVE, MOVE” we did.Went there to talk to the same guy, he spent about 8 mins on the phone call and not even look at us. He finished the call and engaged in a conversation with his colleague.So after 15 mins waiting, he said;I don’t do Porsches.I would not recommend this messy place to no one.

Fast and reliable company. Took my car to previous mechanics and smog shops that couldnt figure things out especially because my car is an older car. This place has great mechanics, the problems were fixed next day after diagnosis . 👍🚗

Gave us an app at 9:00am i do see he had lots of custumers but at least explain whats going on how long its goin to take or the prosses! I mean he just ignores you says b tr with u but helps everyone coming in expect us. We tried talking to him to ask if he could even help us so we can wait but no he just said not now im too bussy. Our experience was less than delightful. We met Mr. Contreras at a local event, explained our situation to him about our truck and why t would not pass smog.We received a voucher for up to $500 to fix the issue. My wife took our truck into the service center and immediately Mr. Contreras started telling my wife that the program may not cover the repairs. That was fine.We agreed to have the truck inspected and waited for the estimate of repairs (we still have not received a written estimate.) It took 3 weeks to get a denial from the voucher program.In our conversations he explained why the repair was denied (technicality in the fine print.)The fact of the matter is I was told that they may have to replace certain emission related parts to get the approval such as a catalytic converter.Dont waste your valuable time or money with this shady character. The shops previous reputation was built by Mr. Contreras father who has since passed on and the new owner does not hold to the same values, morals, ethics or principles.Before you get your vehicle repaired do your homework so you can avoid getting scammed like we almost did.

Do not go here! The owner is a scam artist. I believe most of these 5 stars are his friends or customers told to give a good rating for a coupon. I believe the owner is named Angel and hes rude and unprofessional. They will try to find a way to screw you out of more money.

Horrible customer service experience. I sent my mother to do my smog because I work and Im not able to do the smog. However when she arrived she called me an a male was on the phone yelling at her I could hear him through the phone. I guess the reason he justified his behaviour was because she didnt have the renewal notice, however I was looking up that smog shops can look you up with the vin and license plate. I wanted to communicate with that guy to explain to him but I heard his response and the tone of his voice was so rude. I know its a hot day today but remember that customer service is the reason people continue to go to your business. Im also in service of others and I have never yelled at anyone like that.

I take my car here whenever I need anything for it. Angel, the owner, is so polite and has excellent customer service. He explains everything. Being a single female its really important to find a mechanic that wont take advantage of you. Angel is that mechanic!

THIEFS, BBB needs to shut this place down. They lie about repairs. A $40 smog became $80, if I wanted to pass the test. I was told if you don’t pay, you will need repair station and pay $400. Clearly uses coupon to get people in shop than commits smog FRAUD BEAT AND SWITCH USED AT THIS SMOG SHOP! Don’t get any services at this repair place!

Stopped in here for a quick smog after having a cat replaced at my mechanics nearby. Smog failed because mechanic failed to tell me the truck had to be driven around for a while. The owner recommended I drive to Table Mountain and back which did the trick. Truck passed with no issues. Owner was honest and very friendly and service was quick. Would definitely recommend.

Great Place to do business. Angel works on all my vehicles, and he is quick and honest. I would recommend everybody. He does about 30 smogs per month with our company. He will even pick up your vehicle, and deliver.

I took my car there for smog inspection and they were competent, pleasant, and did the inspection in a reasonable time period. I took my car there because they also do auto repair and I thought I may have had a vacuum leak that may fail my smog check and figured they could fix it if it didnt pass. But it did pass first time and no charges besides the smog test. So they have gained my trust and my future business. Needless to say, I recommend this business.

Ive had work on my Tahoe and the guys were great. They found the problem and got it fixed. I had a problem a few months after the initial work and found out the part was defective so they got a replacement and got it taken care of right away. Had a smog check done in under 30 minutes and will continue to take my truck and other cars to them.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

So I took my car to this place because I had a k&n cold intake I told him I took it some place else and they wouldnt pass it because of that he advised me to take to and have the factory one put back in and to take it back to him and he would pass it so I did when he came in he told me he wasnt going to pass my car with out even looking at the work Ford did to make it legal again and that to take my car somewhere else I would not recommend this place at all

Horrible! I was told it failed, same $500. info, and watched 4 other vehicles fail in the same day. 90% failure rate.... I went to another shop the next day and passed with no problem. This year I get to test only because 6 tests were aborted last year at Contreraz. Screwed me 2 years in a row. Dont go here for anything.

This isnt by for the worst expierence I have ever had simply wanting to as a question. lol I pull up and there is an older gentleman in a car and he starts yelling out the car saying you need to move your car and put it in a stall. I said I just have a question can ask you guys a question he said yeah you can ask all the questions you want inside the office. He was just so rude about it usually when you go to a smog or anything to do with cars you get out the car and a person comes up to you. How was I supposed to know they required you to park at a stall and go in the office. I felt very discouraged after that incident as a woman going to get car stuff done on its own is intimidating and for him to treat me the way he did was even worse thank you sir. I hope you have a better day .

It was a pretty good experience. They honored my internet coupon without question.So it was cheap, and done in about an hour.Nice, polite staff, never even talked to the mechanic who smogged it, that was a first.

This place has good customer service but one lazy technician. My car initially failed due to off timing which led to a high NOx reading. My mechanic corrected the timing, so after I took it back Contreraz and failed again because the tech could not visually confirm the timing, but at least the NOx passed. They recommended they could make the repair to correct the timing issue for a price of $300+. I opted to take it back to my mechanic and he confirmed that the timing was good and suggested the tech simply wasnt looking hard enough.

Got me in fast finished fast they have my business for now on.

Do not go to this smog place I took my car here and did the smog it didnt pass the first time so they showed me the Lil thing it needed so I replaced them and smog it again and they came up with a hole other store spent 400 in soo called repairs if u have a old ride dont bother going here u will fail trust last time I take it here for any of my cars they just wat ur money I was disappointed.....smh they dont know what there doing...
