On September 11 2021, I had my front windshield replaced with Safelite on Brawley Fresno ca. The windshield was making a lot of swooshing sounds when I drove off after the windshield was replaced. The windshield cracked again and had a warranty appointment on October 9, 2021 and was told that it was impacted by something therefore they wont cover it. The point of impact is underneath a protective plastic trim as shown in the pictures. I believe that the employee who replaced my windshield cracked it when installing it, small crack that was covered by the plastic trim and eventually got bigger. there is metal close to the impact zone. Look at the pictures for your self. Long story short, their warranty wont cover it. There is nothing I can do really other than write an honest review. They refer to it as New Damage the point of impact is literally at the edge of the glass where it rest on the metal, no foreign object could hit there when the plastic trim protects it, it looks like it was damaged when it was placed on the car when it got installed.

I was incredibly happy with the quality of the repair and the friendliness of the tech. They came out to my schools campus because I had classes all day. Only minor complaint I had was that the operator that took the appointment said I would not need to be there to meet the technician at all. It is a good thing I was there, because the technician said he needed my signature before he was allowed to touch my car.

I took my car to have the windshield replaced in Fresno. It was a special order windshield because these new fancy cars require a little bit more. I picked it up It appeared fine. I went and washed it two days later and I noticed the cap that covers the electronics on the window up behind the rear view mirror was loose. So I attempted to stick it back up it would not hold. So I took it back to Safelite and I found a technician. He removed the cap. When the cap was replace the technician broke the cap. Accidents happen, But when accidents happen you own it. He tried to Hide it by using sticky black tape. So when I took it back over and I showed to the technician I could tell he was as surprised as I. I was angry to say the least. They assured me the original technician would know however my time is valuable.

I was partial to Safelite until today. I called to get an estimate to replace my windshield, and their phone system wont let you talk to a person. Since I was calling a few places for quotes (I am paying out of pocket because of a fairly high comprehensive deductible), I just wanted to tell someone about my car, and get a quote. NOPE, they dont want to offer any personal service, even after I pressed 0 to speak to an operator. So... I called Steve and Johns mobile glass. A PERSON answered the phone, asked me 2 questions, gave me a quote, and scheduled my appointment for THE SAME DAY, at a very reasonable price. I wont call Safelite ever again, due to their lack of personal service

What a great place, people and service I found! I was in need of replacing a windshield on my Itasca motorhome. Most places that Ive contacted before contacting Safelite AutoGlass answer was: we dont work on RVs. I was very discouraged. After researching on the Internet and based on reviews, I went ahead and scheduled an appointment with Safelite. I cant even describe how happy I am with the outcome. The windshield looks beautiful, all the stickers were transferred to the new glass, my camera and everything else works perfectly! The people were friendly and knowledgeable. Everything was explained step-by-step. Thank you so much!!! If I could give them 10 stars, I would. Thank you again!

Great service, came out same day, cleaned up my extra broken glass and fixed the window regulator for less than just OEM glass. Very friendly and fair guy to deal with. Highly recommend.

Well actually I didnt go to them they came to me didnt have to pay anything my insurance took care of it the gentleman was nice courteous and very knowledgeable clean my window repaired my window and the work area was really surprised they did a fabulous job thank you

I’m upset because they are trying to swindle me. They don’t want to patch the windshield, they want to sell me a $40 windshield for $368. I have a pic of the work order and the pic of the repair technician that was completely unprofessional and belligerent, yelling profanities as he was walking away. He also tried to hit me with the clipboard because he didn’t want his picture taken. Luckily my neighbor saw everything as well as my roommate that came out to see what was the commotion all about.I am disabled living of the General Relief and can barely afford to pay for the insurance. I am emotionally exhausted after the encounter and fear that the technician will come back and hurt me.

This place was hoppin today, got there at 8:00 and there must have been 8 guys getting ready for the day, loading mobile service trucks and working in the shop. I was third in line and back out on the road by 8:40, chipped windshield, Eddy hooked me up in no time. Super friendly, explained every step, will definitely go back.

Ok, I was impressed from the start. Everything Safelite says in their commercial is true. My service tech Nico was polite and very thorough when taking care of my two busted windows. He was 100% professional and did an awesome job. I would recommend Safelite.

Ive used Safelite on two occasions for two different cars. Theyre professional, fast and knowledgeable. Theyre not the cheapest auto window repair shop, but theyre the best. Safelite has the right equipment for every repair and they guarantee their work. Theyre personable and professional from start to finish. That goes a long way with me and its a sure fire way to guarantee my repeat business.

The process was super easy from start to finish. I dropped off my car on a Saturday 5/9/20 to get my windshield replaced.The woman in the front was busy but she still gave me great customer service. They told me the expected time and that they would give me a call. My technician Joey A. was great he even gave me a call soon after I left to tell me that the windshield they had to replace my old one had a tint to it and if that was okay or they could order an exact clear windshield. I decided to go with what they had because I had always wanted to get a tinted windshield because mine was too bright. They were done much quicker than expected! And my new windshield looks amazing. Thanks guys!

The whole website and booking system was super slow so I tried calling and their phone system tells you everything has to be done online and then hangs up on you. It was a frustrating experience

Service was good and I was in and out fairly quick.

Wonderful staff in terms of customer service but not as good in Crack repairs. (In my case with my technician) I took my car in today for a small bullet and ended up leaving with a big crack and bullet still intact. They told me it was because of how hot the glass was which led to the big crack but they could have asked me if it was okay for me to wait an additional amount of time if it was needed to do a proper repair. I could have waited more in order to allow the glass to cool more. But, I guess they would rather do speedy low quality service than more extensive high quality service.

The tech Jeff was awesome. I had them do a mobile fix meaning to come to me and he was here early when they said he’ll be here. Also the job was done quickly replacing my window and good quality. My glass was vacuumed up, super great, super quick, super professional!

Great customer service. Usual wait time is approximately 1 1/2 hours but my vehicle was ready in 50 minutes. Clean waiting area and friendly office staff. Went to the Brawley Avenue location which was a long drive from home but very happy with the service. Was worth the time.

Your technician, George, fixed a rock chip/crack in our RV windshield yesterday. George was very professional, efficient, and knowledgeable. In addition he did not mind me hanging around and asking a million questions. I learned a lot about glass repair. I scheduled an appointment online, and was told to drop my car off before 9:30, that I would be fit into the existing schedule, and that the car would be ready for pickup by 5pm.The employee that was scheduled to change my windshield saw that I was waiting, and fit my car in before 12.Great service, friendly people.

Great service and great product.

They basically came over and turned my crack that was smaller than a dime into my whole windshield being cracked. The agent seemed happy that the crack expanded. Then the agent said all I can do is quote you a replacement windshield. Quote ending up being outrageous. All while this is happening the agent seemed enthusiastic that the crack on my windshield expanded as if this happens often.

I like this place I got a rock chip in my windshield by a truck flying down the freeway and it kicked up a rock, went in and it was fixed within 40 minutes and if I didnt know it was there. They have done an amazing job fixing it.

I’ve had two incidents since I bought my car last April where I’ve had to have my windshield and passenger window replaced. My insurance covered it all with Safelite, and both times were great. First one in Oakland - gave me a 3 hour ETA and guy did it in 2. Second one I had to go out to Fresno and was able to get a mobile glass guy to come to my house and he did it in an hour and change. Super friendly and nice both times. I really appreciate them for the quick service.

I needed my windshield replaced after a chip grew to about 1/4 of the windshield length. I requested an OEM replacement, the installation took about 2 hours and came out very good. However after looking at the bill I noticed Safelite charged me $35 to vacuum my carpet and clean the rest of my windows. It would not be a big deal if I had asked for it, but I didn’t. You would think after spending $800 on a windshield they could at least throw in a free vacuum clean, especially when I didn’t ask for one.

Safelite has replaced 2 of my windshields now and going in for an appointment is easy and the estimate on time is spot on. They made a small mistake in my ring up and were quick to solve the issue. I will definitely use them again when my windshield meets another rock.

I have been trying to call because someone broke my window and it’s an automated system and every pathway leads to you being hung up on. So annoying that I cannot get ahold of a human to ask questions. Maybe a different company will answer there phone calls.

This place was very efficient and quick. We have AAA Northern California insurance which carries glass protection. So we get no deductible and we only need to do it at the location. The service people knew how to get it done. It was easy to get our windshield replaced.

Good price for my trucks windshield, used a coupon on their web page and saved couple bucks. Very professional and clean job, they clean the windows after the job is done and vacuum all the debris from the repair. They have Wi-Fi, coffee and restrooms if you want to wait for your car in the lobby. Definitely will come back for all my car glass needs.

They were quicker than they said it would be and they did a great job.

The first signs of the quality of work they performed was smeared all over my fenders doors and door handles. It got worse hours after arriving home and shutting the door, The windsheild A pillar interior trim panel fell off. As they had broken both mounting tabs and attempted with the wrong glue to hide that mistake. I see why its 160 dollars on ebay for a used original BMW replacement part for that alone and that was just one of the many things they either left off or broke.

Everyone here is super friendly and courteous. They had replaced my windshield within less than 2 hrs. You are able to pay online as well and theyll also print out the invoice for your records. Lastly they vaccuumed my car and pulled it right up to the exit. No surprises either!

My window was cracked about 1/4-inch in diameter. The man fixed it and said that it wouldnt crack more beyond the original blemish that was left. I drove my car into the garage and left it there for two days. I pulled it out and the windshield cracked just outside the blemish. It appears that it cracked, but is a new crack, not part of the same one. If thats true, it must have been from the pressure of the repair wouldnt you think?Other than that, the gentleman called because he wanted to show up early. I couldnt make that. So, he came at the beginning of the two hour window. He was helpful and told me that I didnt need new wipers and removed it from the invoice. Instead, just billed AAA insurance for the repair ($65). He cleaned my windshield and gave me a can of smear-proof window cleaner to keep.

Came out once with the wrong glass. Had to reschedule. Installer did a good job and was very professional.

I went in with the smallest chip in my windshield. The person that was fixing my windo came in to the waiting room with a big smile saying that my windo craked. And the only thing they could do is replace my windo for just $310 more. I think they just wanted more money out of me. I no there are possibilities that it can crack i no that. I would not recommend safe light to anyone.

Its definitely the best place in town to go if you have a need for windshield repair or replacement. If you get a repair just know that you will still see the chip, you simply dont need to worry about it getting worse. Had a repair on my VW GTI about 2 years ago and its still fine. So go for full replacement if the chip is in an important area of the windshield. Which is why I had them replace the windshield in my 93 GMC pickup. They do a great job and the glass in stock so no waiting for shipping.

They came out and replaced my windshield with a defected one....after a few days they can back and replaced it with the same cheap quality windshield....grease and dirty hand marks all over my brand new headliner and then they broke my dashboard....what a mess! After a week of my broken dash board they tried to charge me over $900 for the dashboard but I won that case. After the third windshield and new dashboard the next technician cut my plastic that goes around my dashboard and windshield on the inside. They left my windshield wipers off and I ended up spending a lot of time and headaches over a simple windshield replacement. This is the first glass company I ever had this problem with. Very unprofessional because they leave your new car in a mess...rubber pieces were in my dashboard ducting,inside my cup holders and shaving from plastic and adhesive all in my carpet and center console. I would never recommend this company to even my worst enemy. They are messy and incompetent. Nice looking vans tho....to fool the customer I guess. Now I have to drive around with a cut in my plastic and a rattling dashboard... Nice new car sounds like an old one with all the rattling. Not recommended!!

Do not come here!They basically charged me to break my windshield. Then offered to replace it, at two times the cost of what and other place In fresno charged me. This place is a rip-off. The chip was only a dime size it turned into the whole windshield when they were done.

If incompetence were a crime these guys would be serving a life sentence.Do not work with this company. I have been working with them to get my glass repaired for over a month and it still has not been fixed. Initially they told me my insurance (AAA) had not been approved when it had. Then they actually came out to my house, but brought the wrong glass. Now they have delayed my repair an additional two weeks because of shipping. Do yourself a huge favor and call literally anyone else!

I came here several weeks ago to get my windshield changed. I read good reviews which was why I decided to come here. I called an agent and was booked for the weekend because they were open on Saturday which I appreciated because I work all day during the weekdays. I was checked in at the appointment time and they gave me an estimate of wait time for 1 and half hours. They had an estimated price and because they were not sure which Outback I had they have all three different types to make sure I leave with a new windshield. Once they were done they had vacuumed the front area and done exactly at the time they stated. All my expectations were met and service was good. I will come here again in the future.

OMG had an awesome experience with this company! We are on the road all the time and got the notorious rock hit break windshield from trucker jumping in front if us. This shop got us in on time with a set schedule and an hour later had our windshield done and out the door. They even vacuumed the interior and washed all our windows. Big Thank You for such a great experience. Unfortunately when we get another rock (you will defiantly get us back). Thank you again

Not a good choice if youre in an emergency and need it done ASAP... I had a commercial vehicle needed a windshield replaced by their mobile service, but they were booked out until the next day. Im not saying they dont do good work, Im just saying in an emergency, this may not be the best bet.

No receipt was left or emailed for service performed. Also, scheduled window for repair was changed. Windshield is noisy, rattles and pops after install (regardless of temp), but hasnt leaked. Price was average for the quality of glass provided.OTH, scheduling technician was polite and professional, they performed work even though I was away at the time on an emergency (asked them to work with my father in law on site with any needs). Text/email notifications were a nice modern approach to service.Overall, I didnt see a particular value add for going with Safelite over any other service, but it wasnt *bad* service. I might go with a local next time just to compare, not sure.

Dont go here. On 11.12.19 Kenneth stratched my 19in forge star rim on my Benz. And it was still parked next to the curb which led me to suspect and sure enough his carelessness caused it dont go

They replaced my RV Windshield and when I drove off and parked I discovered they had Cracked the Loft window! I never went back to those crooks. Avoid that place. Ok Refund my cost. U broke my Loft window. U left my wipers uninstalled and sitting on my bumper. Just refund to me the cost of a new Loft window.
