We wasted an appointment because the store did not receive the confirmation in their side. The staff was helpful, until the manager took over. She claimed she did not understand us, but she also refused to look at an id to verify birthday and name spelling. She was not even trying, and she clearly wanted us out of there. After years visiting this store, this was a letdown. Thankfully there are other good options for pharmacy in the area.Update: we got a cancelation notification after we left the store. That manager surely wanted to make us know how much her former customers were appreciated.
Most horrible CVS with the most horrible Caucasian woman manager. They tried to lock a thief in there while other customers are also in the store. Imagine what would happen if the thief took one of the customers as a hostage? They should be sued for traumatizing the other customer. Later the African security try to accuse another customer of stealing as well even he had nothing with him. The first thief did steal as he was able to escape the locked doors.
This is my 2nd time taking flu shot at this CVS and it has been a good experience both the times. Special appreciation to pharmacist Ashish for being so subtle in giving the shot, didnt feel even a thing! This CVS has everything youll require from a pharmacy.
What they deserve is zero stars. Unfortunately I inserted 10$ to buy a scratch card and later I realized the machine was out of service. I tried to ask help if someone could open it and take my money back so I talked with a supervisor but his attitude was really bad and impolite. It looked like was my fault if I inserted the money in there. He really didn’t know how to communicate with customers. I won’t go there anymore! Result : I lost 10$
They deserve 0 stars but I believe 0 is not an option in these reviews. I recommend never to get prescription medicine from this CVS pharmacy. The staff are extremely rude and hostile. They are also unprofessional: they have no training/idea on how to deal with high influx of customers. In general, the attitude of the staff is arrogant and condescending. I believe they are also extremely lazy, which probably explains the unreasonably high wait times. Worst CVS pharmacy I have ever been to.
Pharmacy called and said my prescriptions were ready. Went in and was told they were out of stock and it would be at least another 5 days before they received them. Then proceeded to tell me I should switch pharmacies because they dont get medication in often enough. And that they wouldnt transfer them to another CVS where it was in stock. What a mismanaged store.
Amazing. took my mother to get the vaccine here. checked in online in the parking lot. checked in again when we walked into the store. from the parking lot to getting the vaccine into her arm, it took about 5 mins total. and then a remaining 15 to see if she had any bad reactions. the whole process was quick and socially distanced
OMG I should have read other reviews before letting my parent pick CVS Fremont. Never order prescription to this pharmacy. My dad’s medication was send to this pharmacy when he had stroke and after I picked him from emergency, I went to pick up his medication and lady I am drop off window was so rude. She did not help me and said they don’t verify insurance after hours. Prescription was send in the morning. I have never heard this before from a pharmacy. I paid $300 and got his medication. What if my Mom had gone to pick medication, she would have not have the gotten medication for dad who just got out of emergency. Transferred his pharmacy and Walgreens was so helpful and they even verified his insurance before I went to pick his other medications. Pickup window ladies are nice. But drop off window ladies are very rude and unhelpful. I was so affair of all other patient whose prescription is send here. I work in a dental office and will make sure I never send my patient prescription here. Medication is important and pharmacy need to understand that and train their staff.
CVS in Fremont Hub, my initial transaction was processed however the clerk did not see it go through, so she rang everything up again even though I pleaded with her that the first transaction went through. I kept telling the clerk your doing a double charge. So I immediately check my bank transactions via my phone and low & behold - 2 pending transactions from CVS. After looking up how this can be resolved, my bank tells me the store should be able to refund one of the transactions. I go back into the store show clerk the double transaction and she does apologize and tells me to see Manager. I speak with the manager and he simply told me Mam we do not double charge our customers and if you feel it was a double charge, you will need to dispute it with your bank and walked away. The transaction itself could have easily been refunded right there on the spot but no cooperation from manager on site and now I have to got through the dispute process which can take up to 45 days. Thank you to the manager on shift 12/24/20 evening.
30 minutes wait on drop off counter even when there were 4 employees in the pharmacy and just 3 customers on all counters. It just fascinates me.
They should close all cvs bad place to get ur stuff very very very very bad 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎
The store is fine but the employees were terrible, especially the 3rd shift security guy that followed my girlfriend and I around like we were common criminals even while we were picking up our meds. It extremely offended both of us and would not back off when asked politely. I had to leave the store and it continued to happen to her. If we can help it we will never shop there again. If you dont mind being treated like thieves and criminals then CVS at the hub is place for you.
Annoying costumer service from the pharmacy...they don’t seem to know what they are doing at all.
The line at the Pharmacy is ridiculous and long. The line goes out into the aisles. When you call the Pharmacy, no one answers the phone. Also when youre shopping there, theres no shopping carts. I asked an employee where their carts are, she just shrugged her shoulders at me. I said how are we supposed to shop and purchase water, carry it on our shoulders?
They carried my Its 3am, I just got off a flight from Louisiana with my cat and need supplies for her list. It was quick and easy o find everything that we needed for her and us. Quick to check out and get to our housing. Even asked if we had everything we might have needed for her, and I really appreciated that.
I asked about having some copies made of a picture. There were two women at the same register, and I thought one of them would help me. There was 1 register open with one customer waiting. Nope. As I left the store, leaving all of my would be purchases on the counter and no copies either, I was told to have a nice night. Is there any wonder why stores go out of business?
We are a dental office, and call in prescriptions to our patients, I think they need to check their phones because we will be on hold for 20-30 minutes and will answer and say hello twice and will reply and they will hang up the phone. We called several times and keep doing it repeatedly.
Not even 1 star deservedPick up counter worst customer services“More you talk more time “I won’t write any review so far in My life
BEVERLY IS THE MOST INCREDIBLE KIND WOMAN EVER!!!She joked with my boyfriend and I at the checkout line. Made us feel welcomed and was absolutely delightful to talk to. She made our visit wonderful. She deserves a raise. :)
This is absolutely the SLOWEST pharmacy in the Fremont area. I tried calling to transfer my medication to this location and spent 20 MINUTES on hold. I was so aggravated that I drove to the pharmacy to speak with someone instead. Save your time and money and go somewhere else.
Dina in the pharmacy is phenomenal!! She went over and above to locate the prescription that I needed. I was exhausted from calling pharmacy after pharmacy only to be told that the prescription was on back order, was not in the system, had to be special-ordered, etc.). Despite being super busy, she was determined to help ... checking the inventory system to track the meds down at a CVS in another town. She even called for a shelf check at the other store and reserved the meds for me there. Truly a godsend and a Superstar! Thank you, Dina!
Very disappointing whole section of antacid pepcid was empty. Had to buy chewable one which doesnt work like the regular one.
Slower than average service, but its a clean store and open 24 hours. I went around 7pm, so maybe going later would be better.
I have been using this pharmacy for 12 years and have had almost no problems. New and refills are always ready and I am notified when they are available. Great service, very pleasant staff. Lines can be long but it depends on the time of day and they always add stations to handle the lines. Being in the health care field and hearing some of the conversations, most of the problems are because people just dont understand or know their own insurance plans and has nothing to do with the pharmacy itself.
Please do not order you medications there. Customer service is a nightmare and no one will apologize to you for mistakes they made. For example messing up the dosage.
Had to wait >1 hour to get an simple off-the-shelf prescription when I called 2 hrs ahead of time and was told it will be ready in 40 min
Very disappointed. They don’t take passport pics for kids less than 6.
Miss Lola has the best customer service I have ever dealt with every time I go to cvs in the hub she knows my name she always takes the best care of all my needs I would like to say thank you for all the great personal customer experience
I came here to pick up my pain killer after the oral surgery when I was really in pain. First of all, the lady in the drop off desk took 30 mins to figure out my insurance, then I wait for another 40 mins still didn’t get any ready to pick up notice. I have to be on the line first because the line is soooo long, it took me another 40 mins on the line to pick up. I have no idea why it took forever for these guys to do their work. It took me around almost 2 hours to get my prescription, which is INSANE.If you are in urgent, never go this place!!!!
Good store my only problem with it is its been a while since they had a working bathroom and at times the medication lines can be very backed up
Always crowded. Always store not well kept. You always walk in to an empty space or a space full of not so useful stuff. Consistently finding stuff within one month of expiry on shelf. Some packages are damaged and are still on shelf (band aids, waist bands etc) . Store could use some good structuring. Pharmacy always over crowded. But people that work here are great. Nice to talk and always helpful
There is a reason why there is a printout on every cash register that says you will receive 4$ if the item is scanned higher than whats posted, literally thats what happened, an item was marked down at 5.99 and the register scanned for 8 something, the manager was so arrogant and spoke to me as though I didnt know what I was talking about until I walked him over to show the price, later saw the printout on the register and when I asked for the 4$ back, he told me that it wasnt for marked down items, I think this CVS had a history of price nabbing, which is why the print out and they do not even honor it, I didnt want to wait and argue with them but I do not think I am going back here again!
Horrible manager and customer service, lies about face mask and policy, and kicks out customers to his liking and his disgression middle eastern guy needs to be fired for rude demeanor
Old facilities, nice staff.
Awful store, bad customer service, unreasonable wait times.Every time I pick up a prescription, it takes about 40 minutes to wait in line. Pharmacy staff are not nice or accommodating once you get to the front of the line. On the phone they are rarely helpful. They often lose prescriptions or have it out of stock, but they will never call or notify you. Youll find out after waiting 45 minutes in line.would give it a 0/5 if that was possible
The pharmacist was very helpful. However the front store cashier was not so nice and she wasnt so helpful.
Terrific staff and love both store and pharmacy open 24 hours
- Loooooooog lines for pharmacy because they have only one pharmacist 24hrs!- Understaffed- Poor staff are still helpful though, with overwhelming number of frustrated customers waiting in line for half hour!
Always super chaotic. Can never find the meds the first time. They search the whole pile then ask did you order today. Then check another pile. I am not great in organizing. But boy are they terrible.
Very disapointed, so i am couponist. Prices were not scanning as advertisement therefore the gentleman was gettin impatient since i was telling him that prices were not matching. If your a coupinist you should know that it takes more than once transaction to get the best of deals. My brother was with me since he offered to take me and he purchased his own item and the cashier (looked like a manager) didnt want to give him him deal prices since he assumed we were same household. My brother even showed him his own cvs card, the cashier didnt seem to care and mentioned that the next time we were gonna do so many different transactions we needed to get in line again and again. Im sorry but i waited in line for other customers to pay i would expect other customers to wait as well. I dont see why i have to get all the way to the end of the line for every transaction. Thats defenetly the last time we visit CVS.
My dad has been using this pharmacy for over a year because its close to home. However, often the staff billed the wrong insurance or didnt even bill the insurance in file. It gets really annoying.
Melanie’s a great cashier!
The staff at this location are delightful. Its still a CVS, but the ladies at the register are great.
Kyra was so pleasant and helpful! Great customer service!
Rude Pharmacy staff during phone-call.Doesnt want to call the other pharmacy location to transcribe the prescription bc she was lazy and asking me why I didnt call.Told me she cant do anything further and hung up.The wait line for pick up is ridiculous, usually wait about 30-45mins.Dont use this pharmacy if your in a rush.
The absouter worst Pharmacy I have ever dealt with. Lazy and stupid is a fatal flaw and these guys have an abundance of both. In addition they lie outright and when confronted with the truth suggest you go somewhere elseGo somewhere else!
I was trying to fill in a new prescription & I chose CVS as my pharmacy, unfortunately, I was not able to get the meds, last thursday, the associate was saying that I need to have a separate pharmacy card. I called my insurance today and they told me that whatever is the info in my insurance card thats it. My insurance requested me to have CVS associate call them, as she is not seeing any prescription fr her end. So I called CVS and took me 20 mins to have someone take the call so I told associate my problem.... he said they are busy now and may take sometime to call my insurance......whattt???? is this how you service your customer...so I said if its much trouble, I will go to another pharmacy...and he said thats ok.....ohh well, guess the owner of the company would not want losing a customer....these paid employees dont care....I should say they simply S#@K!
I have trouble sleeping in night. I take ZZZZZZquil to help me sleep. I went last night at 1:30 am and found a guy named (Amir (Rich guy)) . Not sure if he is rich or poor He is going to HELP you for sure.
The oldest lady here is just rude and sad. She doesn’t want to help people
The technician told me that my insurance didnt cover prescriptions at CVS, that it only covered me at CVS inside Target. Called my insurance and this was an outright lie; this exact location is in their network. Very unhelpful and a waste of time. Go to the Walgreens at 2600 Mowry instead.
The pharmacy was literally the worse run pharmacy I have ever been to.i had a really bad flu with 104 temperature and they made me wait for over an hour when my medicine was on the counter because my name was spelt wrong on the label. After they fixed the name, they made me wait to get consulted for anti biotic so and they made me sit at the window and wait for 20 minutes for the guy to come up and tell me to take 2 a day until gone. A huge wastes of time and I left sicker than when I got there
Pharmacy is AWFUL. All my doctors call in for prescription and confirm back to us but pharmacy people always.....ALWAYS refuse that they got any call. Yesterday the nurse called in front of me and when we went there, they REFUSED that they got any such call.I had prescription in my hand too and it said, ELECTRONICALLY SIGNED BY THE DOCTOR, but they refused to fill-in. It was not some sort of drug just a ointment.
Red machine doesn’t works any time. It has 2 machines both keep on loading.
Useful to pickup the needful, but hardly desirable.
Worst experience, they lost the prescription 3 times, and each time I spoke with a staff members or pharmacists I got a difference response. When I finally received my medication it was incorrect. Will not be going back here.
The worst experience ever in the pharmacy (Melany) %0 respect
Prescriptions are not ready after 8 hours, that to it is just an eye drop, not sure if the day is really busy or its just a very small low priority business for themWill change to Walgreens store or some other CVS store for sure for prescription, wasted almost 30 minutes for 1 eye drop
Terrible bathrooms it was so bad that I couldn’t even walk in the bathroom. But others wise ok service
Very less or No staff, usually it takes 1 hr to pick up my prescription
If you like hanging out at the pharmacy go ahead and send in your prescriptions here cause there will be delays and you will have to wait in the line probably multiple times. I do everything I can to avoid this place.
It is always busy at the pharmacy because of the location in Central Fremont!
Total disappointment. I had to take photo of my kid for passport.. Though it says 24hrs.. There is no one available when I am here at 7:15 pm.. They are asking us to wait till 9 pm..
Very long queue both pharmacy and counter
Severely understaffed, if youre picking up a prescription bring a chair -- its going to be 30-40 minutes at least.
Slow filling meds. Poor service.
I usually wait on average 30-45 minutes to pick up my prescription refills. The bathrooms are also disgusting.
Wish i could gi e 0 stars. The store is dirty, the pharmacy is severely understaffed and no one knows what theyre doing. Waited a week for an inhaler and 2 days for a stomach med REFILL. Ill be switching pharmacies ASAP
Terrible experience with the pharmacy, never going there again.
Awful store, rude pharmacy.
One stop place for urgent needs
Dirty
Medication should be ready in Monday morning. I had to come at 10am. I could come only next day and happened? Right: I should wait 20 mins more! They had 25 hours, but anyway didnt get ready prescription... I thought Walgreens is the worst pharmacy ever. But I already dont know: probably CVS is the winner
Absolutely bad service. They keep expired medicines on the shelves. I observed this twice. I purchased Cold and cough medicines and the expiry date on the packaging was 11 months back. Luckily, I checked the expiry date before consuming the medicine. I went back and asked the store manager. She was very rude. She said these things happen and the staff might have missed this. I asked her how many times do you check the shelves for the expiry date of medicines. She answered every week. This means they missed 44 times (4 times a month for straight 11 months) . Thats horrific. Imagine if the geriatric (old age) patients buying such medicines. Because of the small size text, they will not recognize the expiry date easily. They will consume the expired drug products. I think as a drug Store they should be more diligent on such issues.
