My experience at the Verizon store located in the Hub was great! Highly recommend this spot over the Verizon spot at Pacific Commons. Both employees that helped me and my husband out were super informative about great deals going on with Verizon and also just going about on how to pay for our new electronics we were purchasing. The lady at the front desk was extremely rude! We had an appointment at 6 pm and she said it doesn’t matter if we had one and that we still needed to wait for at least an hour cause she was going to help the walk ins first. What’s the point of having an appointment then? We drove for an hour in traffic to get here and had to organize other people in our family plan to be here as well (all that for nothing), didn’t expect such poor customer service from Verizon.

My husband and I both came in to get a Samsung S21 phone today (2/28) at around 2:45 and didnt leave till 5pm. Most people would be upset for being there that long to get a phone upgrade and adding a new line (but everyone knows these things take awhile, specially when errors come up). Although it took a long time to get everything situated and we had to come back to get our phones, Steven did an amazing job making sure we got our new phones that same day. Even though it took awhile to fix the situation that came up, he did everything it could do by calling IT to make it right. I was going to originally give 4 stars but because he did everything he could and even stayed past closing time to finish up for us, he deserves 5 stars. Most definitely a good manager/owner of his store. Thank you Steven!

I will keep it short. Ordered a phone via Verizon and was told I could pick it up from this location. I checked the order status online for 2 days and the status said “in progress”. I then get a notification that the order was canceled. When I call the store, they admit there was an error and tell me I can pick up the phone in-store the next day. I arrive to the store the next day and not only do they not have the phone I ordered and was told would be there, they try to offer me a phone for $500 more. I wouldn’t recommend this location at all. The service was poor and there was no resolution other than “call Verizon”.

Best Store Owner, Best Customer service, they actually here your problem and fix it even going off their shift timing.Me and my friends took some Verizon devices from this store, couldn’t pay the installments for couple or three months to which Verizon thought it was a fraud and when we came back to pay, our line was suspended and devices were blocked. This store owner and Samir who works there took their valuable time to figure out our situation and helped us fixing this issue of miscommunication between us and Verizon. It was their time to close the store but they stayed 40-50 minutes extra after their store timings and fixed our issue and I feel that was something I wouldn’t have done to help someone by staying late at work to solve customer’s Issue.You Guys are awesome if you are reading this.Thanks a Lot Owner of the store and Samir

THIS IS NOT A CORPORATE LOCATION!!! They are an authorized retailer, not an actual Verizon corporate store. So what does that mean? They can play by their own rules and have different pricing and policies. When you call Verizon they cant help you because you didnt go to a corporate location (same as if you went to a Best Buy). When you go back to the store for help they have no obligation because they are not an actual part of Verizon. Absolutely do not give them your business for any reason.

I went to return an item that did not work with my phone. Though I showed up on the 14th day required for the return policy, I was told by the employee I was outside of my return dates. I later called the manager and explained my situation and was offered a free cord to make what I had purchased compatible with my phone - but the cord they offered was the cord they use at the front desk...a used cord! This store is a franchise retail store that is not actually a Verizon store that has technicians and such. Any mdse purchased here cannot be returned to a regular Verizon store.

I had been looking for a cover for my new galaxy S7. I went to Target, radio shack, CVS but no one had any. This store did. The rep. That helped me was Herbert and I have to say he was very efficient, knowledgeable and helpful. He told me of another option I had on my account for a free tablet that I hadnt been told about when I bought my new phone. He explained everything to me and was very helpful in setting it up. He was very patient which I really appreciated it. He provided excellent customer service.

This is an updated review. I have dropped the rating to 3 stars from 5 stars. just average if that.They are no longer the service oriented store that they used to be. They just fall back on “that’s our policy”’, not how can we solve your problem. I am not talking about issues around costs. I was forced to drive home to get Information that I could have called in to the store and the store could compete the transaction in my absence. That is not service.Old review. For a Verizon store, this place is as good as it gets. The staff tries to get it right. MUCH better than corporate Verizon stores. That store deserves zero stars.

Poor.Retail store big difference big mistake.Plan not explained. No longer under contract, now pay device fee for 20 months on top of plan fee.Monthly bill now higher then was told.Quick verbal talk sign here sign there.Promotion offered. Needed info. Was refused help.Went to promotion company to obtain information which was beyond time consuming.Will not go back or refer to this company ever again.

We had to leave the store on Christy St., Fremont (Pacific Commons) because nobody was interested in helping or acknowledging us. Had the exact opposite experience at the store at Argonaut! When we walked in, an employee asked us to sign up on a waiting list. All available employees were helping employees and had pleasant dispositions. Every couple of minutes someone would acknowledge customers who were waiting and say someone would be right with us. Ended up getting helped by Luis, who was very professional, courteous, and customer focused. A very satisfying experience at the store on Argonaut. Hard to believe it was so different 10 minutes earlier at Christy Street.

If I could give them zero stars I would. I was enrolled in the wrong plan which I did not realize until I received my first bill for almost three times the amount I was told it would cost. Dont bother calling the store as you will either be put on hold for eternity (they literally never pick up) or told that you have to come into the store. Well, I came into the store and the service was so terrible I cant help but laugh. I ended up calling Verizon to have everything corrected. My advice...do not go to this store.

Horrible experience. Wish I could give zero stars. They overcharged me for my products. They dont tell you what you were charged for when asked. I was told that a case comes with my phone and when I got the bill they tried to charge me $50 for a case. Would not go through Victra ever again. Justin was adding accessories and charged an extra $300.

Extremely sketchy business practices and manager. Avoid unless you want to get fleeced. For example, real verizon stores will not charge $30 for a sim card but will give it for free. For this store in particular I have heard several complaints from friends about the manager.

Updated: When I paid I thought that I was paying for the line to Verizon $30 and $20 for the setup fee. The fee seemed a bit high, but I was willing to pay for it They said that their system was having problems and that they couldnt print a receipt. The rep said that he would email it. I didnt receive an email. I went back to the store and they printed the bill. Here it is: setup fees to port one line from another carrier: $19.99 and $29.99 for the SIMM card. I think that $29.99 is too high and I brought that up with the manager. My recommendation is to not pay unless you see a printed bill or better get a SIMM card from an Verizon store (free) and activate it by phone. I asked Verizon customer service to call the store and discuss the $29.99 SIMM card price with Mike the manager. The a rep who answered the phone at the store said they have three tiers for SIMM card prices and that the rep, Josh, had determined that my charge would be $29.99.

Totally a predatory environment. They will take advantage of you. I urge you to go to a corporate location.This location is dirty and is falling apart. The staff is not nice and even less helpful. I had a friend who worked here tell me about the shady predatory tactics they use. If you are a woman they will take advantage. They will up charge you and then clame they cant print a receipt they will add a line with out your permission. AT ALL COST AVOID THIS STORE AND ITS PEOPLE.

Summary: This store is understaffed, underequipped, and charges fees for things Verizon Technical Support says should be free.I went here this morning to get a new SIM card, after speaking with Verizon Technical Support. The store had only one employee on staff (a manager), and there were three customers in front of me. Heres what happened:The first customer was wrapping up when I arrived. He left.The second customer complained that her volume down button didnt work. Shed restarted (a hundred times) and tried safe mode--of course, that required the broken button to work--and the manager sent her away empty-handed, saying that she needed to go to the Auto Mall Parkway Verizon store because he lacked the necessary diagnostic hardware. Of course, it took at least ten minutes for the manager not to help this customer.The third customer needed home phone service, and between conversations about the economy and various local places in the bay area, after only thirty minutes he was heading out the door. Of course, the standard Yeah, its only $20 was followed, twenty minutes later, by an Oh, but theres a $35 activation fee that I didnt tell you about before.Now, after 45 minutes, it was my turn. Technical support told me that the SIM card would be free at any Verizon Store, but the manager of this store told me that since it wasnt a corporate store, they charged $10 for a new SIM card. Having already wasted much more than $10 worth of my time, I acceded to the ransom. Ten minutes later, I had a new SIM card (which--miraculously--did in fact resolve my problem).So it took me nearly an hour to get a new SIM card that should have been free. I wont be returning to this store, and you probably shouldnt go there either. Head to the Auto Mall Parkway store instead: they have the staff, they have the equipment, and most importantly, they have the corporate oversight which ensures that you dont pay for things you shouldnt have to pay for.

I did a device exchange for one of the lines on my account. I was charged 27$ (because I needed a different size SIM). This didnt make sense to me. I called Verizon afterwards and they told me I got charged because it is a retailer store. Two weeks after that, I did the same thing again at the store in union landing and I paid ZERO DOLLARS!

I went to buy a new iphone and chose unlimited data. Justin just brought out an ipad and began setting it up, telling me it came with the plan and was free. I did not request an ipad, I was not asked what type of Ipad I wanted, then he chose a $65 case that went with it. 3 1/2 hours later, I just signed something and was given a bill for $482 for accessories, set up fees, case, chargers. Three weeks later I get the bill and realize Ive added a second phone line and my monthly bill will now be about $156.I go to complain and they say Justin is not in. The supervisor who is there will not come out from the back because only Justin can take care of this return. The next day, he stalls and keeps saying I need to come back so he can fully explain. I realize its 26 days and after 30, he wont have to refund even the case. He says he never said free, and I just bought a $470 ipad without looking at it, and a $65 case, and a second phone line.He says he has to call a supervisor to take back the ipad but of course no one answers. Im guessing he made a lot of money PREYING on a woman who is not tech savvy. This is the same type of fraud as Wells Fargo starting extra savings account. Found lots of Free IPAD VERIZON COMPLAINTS mostly by women.After someone from Victra called and talked to me about my complaint and your online response AFTER the phone call is this canned response. I can only assume you did not take my complaint seriously and did not and will not look into the deceptive way I was charged for an additional $700 of devices and services. If you did, you would have acknowledged it online and written a letter to me.I have no choice but to write a letter of complaint to the State of California Attorney Generals office requesting an investigation into this practice of misleading and deceiving customers since you will not acknowledge this happened.BTW when I went back on day 26 and Justin would not even entertain allowing me to return the $65 case saying I had signed the contract.The contract states that anything purchased other than the devices can be returned within 30 days.

I bought two iPhone 7 plus and one of them was an upgrade from a regular 6 plus. They said the total price was $204 a month. When I checked my bill it was more than $350 I called Verizon and asked them why my bill was like that. It seems the people at that place told me the WRONG price!! My experience with christi street was extremely bad. i complained and complained online to verizon. and then i had to make an appointment with christi street through a 3rd party and when i got there i was given pat answers to all my complaints. my cellphone doesnt receive certain text messages. pat answer-your cellphone does not receive smart phone texts-yet i pay for unlimited texts. after several complaints and being told my cellphone is an inferior cellphone even though it is brand new. apparently verizon sells inferior service and cell phones. going to arganaut way and well see if things are different there

I dropped in to ask for a SIM card at this store and they said Ill need to pay $20! I left the store right away and called customer service to order the SIM card for free. While I was on the line with customer service, they told me they could not locate this store as one of the authorized retail store they have in the system and SIM card should always be free, over the phone or at the store. This store seem too shady. I wont ever come again.
