Nice people ordered a part for washer and came in early.
Just not the same old Sears it used to be.
Zach was able to find us a Stainless Fridge and a Stainless Stove, and be more than competitive on price and availability. While most Omaha stores were telling us January 20th would be the soonest we could get these items, Zach had both within a week. It pays to look local first!
Ordered an oven on black friday (November) and was told it would be delivered Feb 2nd, a little longer than we had hoped but we said we would be ok and wait. Febuary 2nd rolled around and we called because nobody called us and were told its not in yet but it would be in the following week. Ok. Not the most ideal but we will wait.....this week rolls around and still havent received it....my wife called the store yet again and they said it wouldnt be in until March 3rd or they would find a similar product and get it to us...well we ordered the specific oven because thats the one we wanted and we wanted to buy locally (big mistake, we could have gone to NFM or Lowes in Omaha and got the same oven for cheaper and had it in less time). Nobody called her back with a similar product....so I guess we are just going to keep chasing after a company that basically stole our money, because I dont know when or if we will actually ever get the product we paid for over 3 months ago. Disappointing experience.*** Update, they did contact my wife after this was posted and have found a like oven and are delivering it this evening. I appreciate that they moved quickly now to resolve a customer issue. Hoping this was a isolated incident. I will continue to try to shop locally.*** Update Zach and another gentleman delivered a new oven, communicated the issue and explained what was going on, which was all me and my wife were looking for. Will be going back.
I can not say enough of the customer care I recieved from Zach and other staff members at Sears in Fremont Nebraska. Zach corrected a mistake I made, Yes, I made. I will always make the trip from Lincoln to Fremont Sears because of the, gone above and beyond customer service.Thank you Zach and all with whom we talked to at Sears in Fremont. They are 7 out of 5 stars!
Terrible service. Chris couldn’t have been any less helpful. Not a customer to be found in the store. Easy to see why.UPDATE: I just saw the managers response on here. The manager did reach out to me by phone months ago, and I responded by calling and leaving a message at the number he left for me to call. I never heard back after that. Seeing him write that he still hasnt heard back from me is telling. I made the effort, returned his call, and left a message; Im not going to continue to chase him down to give him feedback. Since he does seem to want more info, Ill provide it here. I called the store looking for a torque wrench that I saw online. They confirmed they had it, and I told them I would see them in a little while. I drove over 20 miles to the store and found the wrench. Once I brought it to the counter, I was told that the price in store was more than the price online. It was about 30% higher. I refused to pay the higher price and asked what they could do. They said they couldnt do anything because the store online is different from their store. Interestingly, though, they said I could buy the wrench online, pay for it online at the lower price, then select their store for pickup. I thought that was dumb, but grudgingly set out to buy the wrench using my phone. I went through the labor intensive process of setting up an account, entering payment method, yada yada yada. It took way longer than it should have to setup the account, probably 6 or 7 minutes. Literally as I was about to hit submit to finalize the order, I was informed that it could take an hour before that order made it into the stores queue, and that I would have to wait until that happened to get the wrench. At that point, I was out. Two things that could have caused a much more positive ending and prevented this negative review: 1) tell me when I called that the price online might be different so I can buy it online and pickup later - OR 2) watch me buy the wrench with my phone and once completed with payment and receipt, just let me take the wrench with me. Initially I felt good about supporting a locally owned, American business instead of just buying something from Amazon and having it delivered. Ultimately, though, I just ordered a similar product on Amazon and it was delivered two days later. Easy.
Food was good. Decently priced. Nice staff
These guys are great. Theyve helped me out in a bind numerous times over the years. Very knowledgeable & helpful. Thank you.
The store is on 23rd Ave. Behind Getzmanns.Once there, you see its almost like walking into a .I I sears store. .mostly appliances, riding mowers and 2 small aisles of Craftsman tools and a few roller cabinets.
Cant say enough about this store...friendly staff, great customer service...ready to help with everything they can for customers and their community... i have shopped here for major appliances with great results. The one time i had an issue with my purchase and they did everything they could to rectify the problem without hesitation. Highly recommend using this business for all your needs big and small. Great place to shop!
We have ALWAYS had friendly and professional service. Zach has become more of a friend than a service technician. We will spend our money with Sears in Fremont before going to another store because they always go above and beyond to make sure we are completely satisfied. We have purchased our refrigerator, garbage disposal, and garage door opener from this location, all with installation. Zach is the BEST!
Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Not pushy at all, they answered my questions with out hesitation! Large selection of appliances and huge selection on tools! Great assortment of refrigerator stoves washers and dryers!! You can tell they take pride in their store. Very well kept and extremely clean!
Very nice helpful just like you see in a smaller town store. He sold and delivered my washer. Very Happy. 😊 Highly recommend!
The 1st gentleman that helped us was super nice, not pushy and helpful. He couldnt get our order finished without us needing cash out of the ATM for some reason. The 2nd person, who cannot remotely be called a gentleman, cussed us out of the store using many profanities and yelling when we decided to take our business elsewhere. Super inappropriate and rude. Corporate also did nothing to follow up on this as the comment below suggests.
This is a great place to shop with a dedicated and knowledgeable family managing the store! I trust these folks and have had nothing but good experiences purchasing from and having service provided by them.
Sears Hometown stores provide great personal service and are an asset to the community. Its locally owned and operated and offers a wide selection of products and services, including home appliances, sporting goods, tools and lawn & garden. Love Sears!
Have been going here for years. Always been helpful and knowledgeable on their products. Plus I like keeping my business local.
I agree with the bad reviews in here. Bunch of angry old man that could careless to help you out. Will try to screw you on the prices. I knew Sears websites sells the microwave waveguide cover for $7.91 so I decided to check out this store quick to see if they carry it. The old man in charge could careless to talk to me, but yet he turned to me and said I could order it for you but it will cost you $27. Then proceeded to be snobby. Great way to treat your customers, never gonna shop in any Sears store again.
Just got my new stove delivered. The sales man that helped me and my mom the day we went into Sears was friendly and very helpful. And today it was delivered and they where on time and friendly. They made sure that it was working and they even took the old one. Thank you Sears.
Would give 0 stars if possible. Bought dishwasher to include delivery/installation/haul away of old appliance, paid extra $125 for these services. Dishwasher began leaking right after installation provided by the store personnel, causing $1300 damage to house due to improper installation. Store claims they didn’t install despite receipt and delivery documents stating otherwise. Store refuses to rectify their error and resolve the issue. Worst sales experience in our lives having to pay an additional $1300 just for a dishwasher and to get the house back to livable condition.
The owner is there every day and he is very helpful. They treat everyone friendly and as if you are their friends or neighbors
Great serviceWhen they delivered my product they set it up and they were only here 30 minutes
Service cant be beat.
No selection.
Great customer service, Zack is awesome. Helped with all my purchase needs
Sears declined my warranty even though when I called the first time it was still under warranty! SHYSTERS!!
I think it was decent price and Zack was very helpful
Very helpful gentleman with the process of choosing the best vacuum cleaner.
Familu owned. Prices were good and had quality appliances.
Zach was the one help us with a washer and dryer. He was amazing an answered all our questions thank you!!
They have know respect for you. They will try to Screw you over as much as they can. They are all grumpy old men that work there and none of them are nice
We were looking for a small freezer And the small freezer is round $200 . We find the same thing on sale at menards for $279
Great hometown type of place.
Very knowledgeable and helpful. So greatful we have Hometown Store Sears in Fremont, Nebraska.
So rude! The prices were OK but then everything else for appliances was extra. They seemed to think Menards was their only competition. NOT!
