Overall:This place was such a neat experience! We started by shopping for herbs and lilys. The variety was just beautiful. We saw they had grape stomping, ice cream and a beer garden.-Wine tasting:We went to the wine tasting room, we did wine tasting for one, since my partner doesnt really like wine. our waitress was wonderful! She knew about her wines and when we mentioned sweet wines were our favorite she brought us a taste of the sangria! It was so good even my partner liked it, we bought a bottle. It was a neat experience and the music was nice.-Gift shop:We went to their gift shop where they had such cute items for sale. We ended up buying some seeds for the garden. Beautiful place. Highly recommend for any plant lovers, flower lovers, wine lovers! I wish I took more pictures all the most beautiful spots I was caught up in and forgot to take photos.

Have driven by Wildseed Farms several times while in the area, but hadnt been there until today. A very neat place, with an ever-changing seasonal landscape of beautiful plants and flowers, newly added wine-tasting area, cool little snack court area, and a nice shop with all sorts of gifts and seeds for sale. Plenty of parking and beautiful fields surround the place. We enjoyed our visit very much.

This place is beyond amazing. Beautiful is the only way to describe this place. Beautiful entry way invites you in giving you a peak of what is to come once you get inside. The parking lot is huge. The location and the decor and everything inside is straight out of a Hallmark movie. I was in awe the entire time I was there. Beautiful plants for sale and all around as decor. The butterfly garden was full of monarch butterflies making you feel as one with nature. The property is full of oak trees of all ages. The shade provided by those majestic trees provided a good respite from the sunshine. The air underneath this oak trees seemed cooler, like natures own air conditioner. They have a winery with tasting room but we did not sample the wares due to we were driving back home that day. The restaurant on site had the most amazing peach ice cream. Will definitely be going back in the fall when the fields will be covered in wild flowers. This is a must see on your winery tour when in Fredericksburg, TX.

Such a beautiful, happy place to visit. We went in late April and the red poppy’s were in full bloom. The walking trail is lovely and a great for a photo opp. They also have a beer garden and wine tasting available if you want to stick around and enjoy the day. I was impressed with their plant selection! Be sure to check their website for a bloom update so you can make sure and go when the fields are bursting with color.

Loved every second here! They just recently opened a tasting room and it was a smart move! Now there is so much to do! You can walk the trails in the gardens, shop in the nursery outside, shop inside at the retail store, grab a bite to eat like a sandwich and peach ice cream (so good!) in the “Biergarten”, or go to the tasting room! They have many wines available to try! I love that it isn’t just a winery like so many are and its focus is florals!

Wildseed farm was absolutely beautiful. The Poppy field was probably one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen and the daisy field was beautiful too. It was so well taken care of. There was so many flowers, so many hummingbirds and and it was a wonderful way to spend the day. The little shop was cute, the peach ice cream and peach bellini was very tasty and refreshing, but the only down side was those that worked there were quite rude when we had asked a question or spoke to them. That and the majority of the guests and staff did not wear a mask or care about social distancing. It threw off the experience a little, such a beautiful place with such beautiful flowers, but the staff was less than friendly, at least those that I encountered. Regardless, Id go again, just I wouldnt bother with the shops unless it was absolutely necessary. The field was beautiful enough for another trip.

I’ve been buying from wildflower seeds for about 30 years when I discovered them while on a trip to Fredericksburg. If I could give 10 stars I would for many reasons, their staff is fantastic and their quality of seeds outstanding, I have never been disappointed.I have 8 acres in NW Arkansas with three springs on my property and at 75 I still work full time and for relaxation I turn my field into flowers for all to enjoy and Wildflower Seeds helps make that possible. I’m grateful I stopped by on that trip many years ago

Wildseed Farms is one of my all time favorite spots in Fredericksburg. This year was my second trip to visit, and even though they did not have wildflower fields growing when my husband and I arrived yesterday it was definitely worth the visit. The butterfly garden was just as pretty as it was last year. They have a beautiful selection of plants, pottery, gifts, and of course tons of herb and wildflowers seeds to choose from. Because it is still the fall season, they also have a large selection of pumpkins. In the food store They have a so many choices for butters, jams, mustards, and more. We bought of jar of honey mustard jalapeño. It was a little pricey…and delicious! We saw Ashley yesterday for a wine tasting, and she was friendly and informative. We enjoyed chatting with her. They have a Fantastic set of wines. I loved every one I tried. If you like plants and wine, then you should come here!!!

We visited here primarily to see the poppy fields in bloom. This view was well worth the trip, but Id encourage others to check out the Farms even when the flowers are not as dramatic. We enjoyed shopping in the nature themed gift shop, and took advantage of the opportunity to buy wildflower seeds. The beautiful and well stocked garden area had some very cool and unusual windspinners that will look great in our yard. We didnt indulge in the wine shop (they have a vineyard), opting instead to spend time enjoying the lovely fountains, ponds, and arbors. This was one of our favorite stops in Fredricksburg.

This was my first visit there and I enjoyed it a lot. It was very crowded with a long line waiting for the rest rooms. There was other restrooms but they were closed unfortunately. I think for a place this size with this many customers coming through daily, they may want to open those other ones now. Other than that, we had a good time, the staff at the food place were pleasant and when they heard I was from TN and hoped the bluebonnets would bloom, they warned me that they may not but to give them the best chance, plant them in October. I thought that was nice that they took the time to tell me that even though the place was teeming and I was just one customer in a sea of faces.
