I personally have never had anything but pleasant experiences with Cheryl, Norm or Kelly. Whether it be small chit chat or a question, they’ve never made me feel like an unwanted presence. Quite the opposite actually! I enjoy the atmosphere as well as the product and service selection. I appreciate a quality meta shop run by knowledgeable staff and am thankful to be so close to one.

Anytime I’m in town I ALWAYS stop by this shop. It is so resourceful and refreshing for your soul. When I was dealing with some hard times, I would step into this shop just to feel the serene energy.The Owners Cheryl and Norman are just absolute gems and speak nothing but the truth and you can feel the love in this space. They are always so kind and so helpful and just downright the sweetest people! My friend and I made a special trip to Fredericksburg just to see this place and we were highly disappointed. Not only was the staff unfriendly, they were not helpful in the slightest bit. All of there products are also severely over priced. We decided not purchase anything after we were immediately greeted with an attitude.

Both girls working there were extremely rude, everything is overpriced, and my friend and I were treated as if we were trying to steal from them. Overall terrible and I won’t be returning anytime soon. Seems like you’re treated differently if you don’t seem to “know what you’re doing”. Sorry I came for rose quartz in an anime shirt and pajamas I guess 😂

A hidden jem with jems. So many different stones jewelry statues crystals orbs tapestries. Anything your Chakra or special place needs. Items for your altars and healing. They can explain anything to you and assist you in finding what is calling you or what your desire for the healing arts are. Incense beyond incense. Located inside a quaint antique store in downtown Fredericksburg. I will be going again and again and again. My 17 year old daughter was able to get items for her succession and clear path choices in scholarships she has been offered. Blessed be

I always am sensitive to the vibe in a store; and find these owners make alot of effort to provide great service for their items. Keep in mind, this a store which was created in response to inspiration and spirit. They are evolving and growing with many new items and great finds. All of the help have been professional and respectful in my view; and I have been to many shops where the employees dont care, or have an ego trip to foster with customers. This shop is simply there to provide a great service and if you need a reading; they have some great insight. I fully recommend them, and hope to see this store continue to grow.

While they have a large variety of items and everything you could need the energy is off. Feels very uncomfortable and tense, no one greets you when you enter the shop and if you ask for help you feel like an inconvenience. Unfortunate, because again they really do have an excellent selection. However while I was there someone who I guess knows the owner stopped in and they were all talkative and happy and polite. I didn’t even get eye contact from anyone working there.

Young lady was super helpful. She answered any questions I had and I didnt feel dumb about it. She has a good sense of humor as well.The shop itself is hidden away in an an antique shop. But the amount of stuff in the metaphysical shop is astounding. Also the pricing was very fair on most things. Will definitely be stopping through again.

Great selection of things. The new employee was super sweet and knowledgeable. She gave someone spell tips as well as some ideas for stones. The energy is very high coming and going through. Also it smells super nice in there!

If you are in downtown Fredericksburg I would highly recommend you stop by here. Not only do they have a wide variety of ethically sourced metaphysical supplies but there customer service is exceptional. I definitely recommend going on a weekday, weekends tend to be pretty busy but one of the owners Norman is one of the most cool people to ever talk to if you get a chance to meet him. Definitely One of my favorite shops..

They have an amazing assortment of Magickal wares, but the energy is so off in there and the women that works there is always rude and feels like shes rushing you out and better than you. They treat you like if you ask a question youre an inconvenience. Its not how it should be at an establishment that is supposed to represent what they do.

If I could leave zero stars I would. I didn’t have too much of an interaction with the owner, but the younger lady working was extremely rude. I asked if I could get the amethyst necklace out of the case and she acted as if I inconvenienced her by asking. Sorry for asking you to do your job. Another group of girls asked for the carnelian necklace. While the lady was opening the case, the friend said she would also like 1, making it 2 instead of 1. Customer service isn’t for you, my love. Kindness is free, try it.

The owners wife (who’s there most the time) is extremely rude. I have not once had a good encounter with her there. I’ve met one worker who is polite. I called about a discount on a bulk order and she basically laughed in my face when I put the crystals on the counter. You may have a better experience than I. But everyone who has gone with me has said the same thing. And their crystals are over prices AKA (rose quartz 5.95$ I usually decide to keep my experiences to myself. But after that experience I will no longer. I am a extremely generous person and to be treated like that made me feel like a joke. I will no longer be going to this store. It sad to say that the one crystal shop in Fredricksburg is run by an extremely rude human. Anybody have any other recommendations?

I love the wide assortment of metaphysical objects - this truly is the best shop within a very wide radius - But I always feel so uncomfortable when I go. I walk in and feel like I cant really browse, like I have to rush to grab what I need and get out because the energy is so heavy. I feel like I am watched, and like asking staff for help is such a heavy inconvenience so I never do. I didnt realize why until my last visit. During my last visit another customer asked the staff about the dragons in the front of the store. The older woman working there (who I see every time I go) was very defensive. She could not even answer the first very simple question without an attitude, and she kept raising her voice at every following question! After seeing how she acted then, and reading these other reviews, I am considering starting to go elsewhere or limit my shopping to online.

Love the shop. Such a great selection of products. Both owners Norman and Cheryl help so many people. Both with products and with their spiritual wellbeing. They offer classes and healing sessions of many metaphysical forms. They give great advice. All around a double thumbs up.

Every time I go to this store, I am uncomfortable and feel I’m being watched by the workers as if I’m going to steal something. During my last visit, no one in my group was greeted by three different workers although they looked right at us and stood near us. They also never bothered to ask if we needed help. A woman there, who I assume is the owner, saw me carrying something around and asked if I wanted to pay for it at her desk in a stale tone. I let her know I was still considering it, and she immediately had me leave it on the desk. There was no attempt at being polite or caring about the customer. She made it clear her intentions were that she didn’t trust me to have it with me. With that being said, I did not buy it because I will not give my business to someone who gives off that type of energy. Working in retail myself, that behavior is unacceptable. That’s absolute irony in a store centered around energies-hers is not right and it seems fraudulent to act that way while selling positivity.

The shop was amazing, if you’re looking for something here chances are they have it. It’s beautiful & very well laid out. I got everything I needed, the only problem I had was the woman. It seems just about everyone had a problem with her though. She was super rude, snappy & overall just mean. I asked her which tarot she recommended for beginners, & she huff & puffed the whole time... she just didn’t want to talk to me. She eyeballed my Asian friend the whole time & had her husband follow us around the store. Her husband even though he was following us he was still super nice. He offered to help us but she had already helped. I wish I had waited & just asked him. My experience would’ve been much nicer. They did have an argument about finances in front of of multiple customers though he just looked fed up & tired of her.

I went yesterday to get a malachite & tigers eye stone & a tapestry, when I first got there I asked where the stones were and if they had malachite and the lady rolled her eyes and thought I said moldavite and said “we never have it” in a attitude then I repeated myself cause i didn’t want moldavite I wanted malachite and she just pointed to a room looking all annoyed saying all the stones were in there. Don’t get me wrong the place itself is pretty and has a nice selection of crystals but this lady’s attitude wasn’t, so a couple minutes pass by and it was around 5:50 and she was closing up early for the day and I was still deciding on what tapestry I wanted and she was telling me in a rude way that she’s closing, on google I saw this place closed at 6 pm so I thought I had a couple more minutes but I guess not, I work retail and I understand how it is where you want to leave early and close up for the day on weekends I would’ve got my things ready to go quietly and fast if she asked politely but she didn’t, she had a nasty attitude. And when I asked her where the checkout was cause I didn’t see any registers in that area, she rudely said “it’s at the front” while rolling her eyes and gathering her stuff so I hurried along, got my stuff and left. Never returning, this was my first time and last time going to that store, they need to hire someone else with a bright and welcoming energy not this lady who seems annoyed with everyone.

The lady was so rude when I went! Every time i asked for help or had a question, the lady seemed very annoyed and inconvenienced! The energy was so off in this place I made sure to be extra intentional about cleansing the crystals I did purchase! I’ve never experienced such bad customer service! I saw a male worker helping someone else and he was much more welcoming and pleasant with the patron he was working with! I wish I had a more pleasant experience but unfortunately I did not and I will not be returning!

This store is definitely a hidden gem. The store itself is nestled in a cute antique store featuring many different little shops. After finding out this is our first time to the shop, one of the shop owners showed us around the shop quickly and to let her know if we needed anything. They have books, tarot and oracle cards, Gemstones and pendulums, tapestries, candles, incense, the works. The prices are very decent compared to where we come from (Central NY). The medium (?) taper candles up where Im from would have sold for $15 where they were about $6.95 in this store. A statue of Odin that sells for about $70 up in NY was about $45. Definitely will be ordering from them since they said they do ship as well. Very pleasant experience and highly recommend.

To reiterate what so many others have said:Great selection, horrible energy. Unfriendly, unwelcoming, unacceptable. It feels like walking on eggshells walking around this shop. Youd think after coming in several times over the past few years that the owners (mainly Cheryl) would warm up, but sadly not. Truly wish there were another well stocked metaphysical shop in the FXBG area.

I have known Cheryl and Norm for years. I keep coming back to their shop because they carry the supplies I need. If they dont have what I need, they will get them for me. Their shop is well stocked, constantly growing because they want to have everything we want and need. Readings and Tarot are available too. They are the hub for the metaphysical community in Fredericksburg and surrounding areas. Please take the time to come down to Caroline Square in Downtown Fredericksburg to see them.

Easiest five stars of my life. Let me tell you, this place took me on a spiritual journey. When I entered, I sampled a third eye balm, which to my complete and utter shock, hurled me into transdimentional jump in which I visited my grandma during WW2. I woke up in a cold sweat on the floor of the tapestry room. No idea how long I was out, but I immediately sensed that my chi had vastly increased from before. I collected myself and walked back into the main room, where I inspected the malachite crystal which gave me long awaited insight into the reason for my annual toenail fungus. I ended up buying a salt lamp (because sprinkling salt every hour is too much of a hassle), the book “Dragons for Beginners,” which I found very informative, and monster be gone. The monster be gone was the only thing I found underwhelming. After 3 weeks I still see goblins on the regular in my closet, but that’s forgivable. The only other aspect I didn’t like was the chakra. Typically I love chakra, but they must have had a different chakra recipe or something, because I found their chakra bars to be frankly inedible. Please come visit the grove, you won’t be disappointed. (Ask for the animal crackers, they’ll know what you mean)

The owner I think her name is Cheryl (has short black hair) is just simply put has a horrid attitude. She offers readings in the shop, which based off her personal energy would likely be clouded, as all the encounters I’ve had with her have been unpleasant. I’ve been here three times, twice with a friend and once by myself. It didn’t matter if I was with my friend or by myself, she just holds overall distain for practically anyone who comes in to their story even if you’re not bothering anyone it going to buy items. Once I just left because her energy was just sordid. It baffles me that a spiritual shop owner can run her business with such negative energy. I shop here because it’s the only metaphysical store around here, but I never leave all that happy. I’ve bough good things there though! Nice book and crystal selection!

I truly don’t understand all these negative reviews. My experience here was nothing but pleasant! Both the owners were nice and helpful. They have a wonderful variety of goods. The shop is clean and well organized. They offer a variety of classes and readings. They have a beautiful assortment of crystals, candles, herbs, oils, books and tarot. I’m not sure what else you could ask for in a metaphysical shop. I think some people just expect others, especially retail workers, to bend over backwards for them.This is a very chill and relaxed environment. It truly feels like a hidden gem and is quite literally hidden behind a collective of other shops. Some people are complaining about price. It is downtown Fredericksburg. What exactly were you expecting? You should come here in the spirit of supporting local business and boosting your local economy. Of course their prices need to be slightly more expensive than an online shop. Use your heart and mind a little please.

Been going there for a while the owner never remembers who I am . Ive heard him run the same spill to atleast 12 different people about them. Being very powerful and coming to ect.The woman is so incredibly rude not just to me to friends Ive sent there to. My friend told herWhy are you being so rude, She said I own the store I could do whatever I want to and I can ask you to leaveJust bc you own a business doesnt give you the right to treat people wrong.I cant go back after they treated my friend like that. They have a lovely selection. All the candles and crystals you could want. However the woman and man who run the shop are... odd to say the least. A few things, the woman was not wearing a mask. She seemed quite annoyed with me when I asked a question. So I quickly bought my things and left. For more information regarding previous reviews, I am white. It may not be a race issue just a people issue she doesnt vibe with. Honestly, I am very put off by both of them.But by all means get your materials if the grove is local to you. But keep your interactions limited and to the point. And cleanse aaaaaaaaall your purchases.Blessed be.

I’m not sure if it was a race issue, and I am truly hoping it was not Based off of the other reviews of her being equally as uninviting but it made me extremely uncomfortable. She seemed overly annoyed by my questions and barely wanted to help me. Which caused the gentleman in the store to come and assist me. The man, I don’t know if he was her husband, was AWESOME and very kind. It was his energy and kindness alone that prompted me to still make my purchase.Unfortunate that a store completely filled with crystals with healing properties and that is supposed to center around great energy was still no match against her nastiness.

Peaceful and inviting. This shop is tucked away in the back. As soon as you enter, your body changes. I try to visit a few times per month.

Found a new gem in downtown Fredericksburg to shop.

I prepaid for a 1 hour reading over the phone, which took place on Jan 22 2021 at 11 am. Cheryl took me into a private room inside the shop and closed the door. I asked her if I could tape the reading and she agreed.Cheryl had trouble concentrating and seemed displeased about something.Maybe it was because her husband and some woman were talking very loudly next to our room. After 3 questions the reading was over.I went for a little walk and when I arrived at my car I realized that it was only 11:45 am. I checked my recording and it showed a total of 31 minutes and 59 seconds. I called Cheryl when I got home and asked for a 25.00 refund.She refused and said that I arrived at 10:30 am and that she gave me a fullhour, which is not true. I arrived at her shop at 10:55 am. She also said that my recording must be wrong. I cannot recommend Cheryl for a reading.

It always feels like coming home. The positive energy in this space is calming and restorative. I sadly cant speak to the quality of their products, as I have yet to make a purchase. But, I always feel better when I leave than when I came in.

Very interesting place.

I’m surprised to see as many reviews about the friendliness of the owners as I have. I’ve never interacted with the man. But Cheryl is always acting as if you needing her is a chore. Perhaps she only wants to help people who are buying the classes or sessions, and those of us who aren’t spending large amounts of money, are a trivial chore for her. I love the items however, they can be over priced. This is probably because of its location, in a small city where most things are.

One of the few spiritual/pagan places that actually have statues and symbols and books for and on the Egyptian gods. Most places are either Wiccan focused or weird white people new age focused but here, they had many things for a wide variety of practices. I found a statue of Anubis Id been looking for for some time!The owners are incredibly nice and helpful. I wish I lived closer! Highly recommend for any pagan/witchy folk who want a good all-spiritually inclusive place.

Honestly as soon as we walked in the energy was off. Just because your young or have tattoos they will stare at you and follow you around. Which is so rude and disrespectful while shopping their was another customer trying to ask a simple question. The lady who took payment was really rude seemed like we were all annoying her by spending our money here.

Since the Facebook Reviews were hidden Ill lay it out here. The woman working there is rude and unhelpful. I would have easily dropped about 50 bucks a week there but Ill be sure to go to another local shop or online for all my stuff now. Way to go!

Very disappointed with their quality of service and lack of service. The two owners were very rude to me especially when I asked basic questions about their salt room. Everyone I know who goes there, the owners give them free gifts based on their energies... Lets just say if your energy is male energy, the owners will simply ignore you. If you purchase an item and it needs to be fixed you are also out of luck they will disavow you and whatever item you bought. This place is lucky to still have business and they are pushing their real customer base away. Also make sure you dont take photos or one owner will seriously throw a tantrum. Im a local guide and it shouldnt matter is Im male female black or white. This place is discriminatory.
