I’ve always heard good things about the La-Z-Boy quality which is why we chose to buy a recliner from them. The showroom was set up nicely, clean, & the staff didn’t bombard you as you walked into the showroom. The customer service could have been better. The lady helping us could have talked more about the quality of their products but it was a very cut & dry transaction ordering our chairs. It left us with something to be desired but if La-Z-Boy products are worth the extra expense then I guess they sell themselves & no sales pitch needed 🤷🏻‍♀️. Overall a good experience.

I mean I loved the sectional when I purchased it, but the delivery dates was something I did not plan for . Due to the Covid and delays and fabric and a lot more things .It took longer then I expected but when the arrival day came, we could not be happier !The product speaks for itself, yeah it’s only been a few days the comfort level and the look and color and durability . It has really made us lazy all we want to do is recline and rest on these comfortable seats . Then Football season is upon us and now more sitting . Thank you !This is a Great Set ! Love it !Ms. A

It took longer to get them due to the Covid virus, but theres nothing anyone can do about that. They look perfect and both are very comfortable. We purchased 2 new recliners during Lazy Boy Memorial Day sale. Our sales person was great and recliners were in stock. Delivery went well. Now the bad part, we have been having issues with one of the reclining mechanisms. I have tried, unsuccessfully, to contact there customer care department a number of times. Each time I am placed on hold for “ the next available care agent”, this last time I held for over 30 minutes. I then contacted the store I purchased recliners from. Was told that they would contact a representative in customer care and have them contact me directly. Hopefully will get a call.

Delivery time quoted at time of purchase was grossly misstated but the good news the furniture came 2.5 months early. Delivery service was top notch. Furniture has excellent build quality, very satisfied.

So very, very disappointed. I went to the showroom, loved a couple of sectionals, was convinced that I should schedule a free in home design consultation--and she never showed up. I took an hour off of work and kept my dogs locked up for nothing! No phone call. No text. Nothing. Will not be giving this store my business and will find my new couch elsewhere.

Wanted to take advantage of a sale, but had to work. Was able to order over the phone during the sale; got to order the exact chair I wanted @ the sale price. Have purchased from the Fredericksburg, VA store on Plank Rd. at least 3 times before; nary a complaint!

A great experience for us. We had no pressure in shopping for our recliner. However, if we had a question the sales associate was immediately available to help us.Our special order came in 3 months sooner than expected and the delivery employees were far superior than our experiences from other companies.

Welcoming sales agent showed us the type of chair we were looking for. Once we settled on the exact chair we ended up buying, the agent spent a lot of time showing us how the chair remote worked. The warranty specifics and purchase options were throughly explained. Overall, we felt valued as customers and were very pleased with the purchase experience.

Anna Simms listened to what we were looking for in a couch. She then explained the different types of couches that would meet our needs and took the time to explain the all the particular features of each. Anna was very knowledgeable and I didn’t feel we were just getting sales talk. When I left the show room after ordering the couch I decided on, I was very comfortable and felt informed with my purchase.

Went looking for a small sofa for my office. Never thought of La-Z-Boy, but went on a recommendation. Pleasantly surprised. Always thought of them having the dad chair, never thought they had actual FURNITURE. I was very pleasantly surprised. And the the sofas have USB ports and bells and whistles. Wonderful! Ultimately, I bought a sofa with Anna, who was wonderful. Answered all my questions and was very informative. Plus! So many options for the look of the sofa!! I now consider them an option when looking for furniture.

I ordered furniture January 1 and its Aug 18 and I am still waiting. Got a call today saying the material finally showed up and the couch was about to be finished. However the loveseat was now delayed further because another part was not available and they couldnt finish the loveseat until the end of September. This was the first time the other part was mentioned, todate was to only waiting on the material for the couch.

I was very tempted to give them four stars only because there was a miscommunication, but I did not feel that it was fair to give them a reduced rating due to a normal human error. We arrived within the last hour before closing, and purchased two recliners, the staff was very friendly and attentive, and apologetic to their mistake, which was easily corrected, and handled in a professional manner.

My salesperson, Lisa, was extremely helpful and very patient as it took me several visits and hours of her time in store before l decided which sofa model and color I wanted. She wanted to make sure that my decisions would be something that I love and will love for years to come. I dont usually do surveys, but this one is important. Thank you Lisa! I cant wait to get my new sofa and love seat!!

Very upscale furniture sold here. It is very good quality, however he will definitely pay the price. They have an excellent showroom. Staff is very friendly and not overbearing.I would recommend checking them out if you dont mind spending around 4 to $5,000.

We ordered from the La-Z-Boy in Fredericksburg and had the best, no-pressure customer service. Karen heard my wishes in color choices and helped me pull the perfect color swatches! The couches arrived on Thursday. The text delivery service is easy to use and the truck tracking feature helped us stay stress free during our delivery window. The couch was set up perfectly by the respectful delivery men. This is our 2nd La-Z-Boy and I’ll recommend them always.

Caryn was very helpful. Prices were better than anticipated with their markdowns. The store could use some extra help as the wait to write up the sale took a while. Unless you’re able to go to a regional warehouse to pickup your items, you have to pay $99 more for delivery. You can’t get anything but floor models from the local store. This was disappointing.

The moment we walked in wearing masks and noticed the associates wearing them too, we were comfortable. A young lady approached to see if she could help us, or did we want to check things out on our own. As we had done research we knew which sofa we wanted to see first and it was just right. We than picked out our own material by looking at some of her suggestions and some of our own. All very easy!

Lisa and Dianne were wonderful to work with while trying to figure out what we wanted and if it would fit in the space we had for it. Loved the no pressure sales approach, follow up and free design consultation. Will definitely go back to them in the future!

Great staff! We did not feel pressured to buy. We were given many options and the ability to discuss and shop on our own to find the best fit. Pricing was excellent, we were there during the 30% off everything which was nice! Waiting for the chair to arrive but the estimated time was not outrageous! Will buy again.

I really can not say enough GOOD things about this store!! The quality of the furniture is great and very comfortable. Every single person we came in contact with was so nice, our sales associate John and designer Dianne were absolutely fabulous!! Although the couch I want isn’t in the showroom, the staff was able to describe the piece and special order with the fabric of my choice. It’ll take a while to get but I’m super excited! Also they price matched when I called the next day about the free delivery promotion. First time ordering custom furniture but so far so good!

We waited a long time for our furniture, but it was worth it!! They were honest about the timeframe, unlike another place we tried. The delivery guys were on time, wore masks, courteous, and removed their shoes upon entering our home!!

The only thing I did not like about the purchase is it takes too long to get the merchandise (3 mo). Sales person was very friendly.

La-Z-Boy has been a great experience. We received our original order and the couch had minor defects. We called the store and they authorized an order of a new sectional. La-Z-Boy allowed us to keep the damaged couches until our new sectional came in. Something that we learned was not the norm. Fredricksburg’s La-Z-Boy staff went above and beyond to ensure we were satisfied.

We are disappointed that the seat cushions are not firmer. Expected La Z boy to do better. Otherwise, its ok.

Overall it was fine but when the salesperson reviewed everything with us she failed to mention the $200.00 for delivery and the $40.00 for a care kit. That in my opinion should have been told to us up front.

Until yesterday I had never purchased something from la-z boy, I had visited the store many many times as well as the store in Gainesville Virginia but had never found something I really wanted or an associate that really made me want to pull the trigger but after having the pleasure to meet Carley Tartt and the rest of the staff including another young lady whose name I wish Id caught, we made a purchase from la-z-boy. We spent three times the amount of money we had originally planned on our own choice based on more realistic expectations and are excited to receive our delivery tomorrow. Not only is this review the result of a great selection but also the feeling that our business was wanted without being pushed or pressured into a sale. Carley was extremely knowledgeable and able to work within all of our constraints including time frame, style, size and features. Even after she met all of those requirements we added more and she still exceeded our expectations but making sure that we understood the reality of our constraints. we are extremely excited to become la-z-boy customers and we hope this first piece of furniture fosters many more years of purchases.

A short time later she had recently-created our space on the computer in order to help me envision what we would be getting. Then she and Jess were very patient while I still pondered the choices. First time in the Fredericksburg store. We went with the idea of looking at modern recliners. We were met by a lovely saleswoman who listened and looked at my Pinterest choices. She showed us several models and we ended up brainstorming with the designer. In the end we bought the Bennet and Nouveau chair with a nice fabric and accent pillows. We were very happy with the service and purchase! It will take months to have our finished sofas but it is worth it.

We just bought our 3rd Lazy Boy recliner. I appreciated everyone wearing a mask and maintaining social distance. John was very helpful with the various details about each recliner. He made this a quick painless process with our delivery under a week....doesnt get any better.

I am disappointed with the chair and customer service I received from the Store Manager. First of all the chair does not match (the special order) fabric that I ordered. It is much lighter and does not seem to be as strong as the sample provided. The chair appears to be much smaller than the model I sampled on the showroom floor. The seat feels shorter and considerably less wide than the sample. I was told that the chairs are hand made and could be off by as much as two inches. Well, it is that two inches that make the chair terribly uncomfortable for me. I specifically went to La Z Boy because of their reputation, and I am really disappointed. I could have ordered the chair sight unseen from an online site and have better results. I was very quickly reminded of the contract that I signed, referencing the 30% ($220) restocking fee. I was also advised that a refund was not an option, just a store credit. These people at the La Z Boy at the Spotsylvania location could care less about my dissatisfaction and just kept quoting the contract. If the chair is not the same color I ordered and smaller than I ordered why is that my problem. I have made my concerns known and NEVER again will I order from La Z Boy.

Ordered online. Charged 3 times for one recliner, 3 different days. Not cool. Bank account drained, bills waiting to be paid. Was reassured 2 refunds in the coming days to my card. Was offered a grill kit for my trouble, but live in an apartment and can’t grill on my balcony. Hopefully the recliner is good once it arrives. First and probably last purchase with them. We have an excellent history with LB quality products over the last 30 years. Great construction and prompt service when required. A selection for just about everyone’s taste and budget. Our Family Room is furnished with all LB products. Highly recommend. Local F’burg store has experienced and knowledgeable personnel. Store has floor samples of all product types and finishes to boggle the mind. Pricing seems to be reasonable according to degree of technology and complexity.
