Stopped in early on a late summer Saturday afternoon looking for a new wedding ring. After scanning our faces we were buzzed in through the second set of doors that are kept locked. Inside we saw a few customers just standing and some employees engaging with other customers. We were almost able to view the entire store before a sales person asked if we needed help. We appreciated that actually. Since wed viewed most everything on display we were able to point to a few items of interest. The sites person Sheila was very knowledgeable and friendly. At no time did we feel pressured to be upsold or swayed toward anything else. They listened to our desire and we were able to complete a transaction for the price of a decent used car. We feel like we are getting exactly what we wanted and the price is within reason for a fine jewelry retail business. 5 out of seven stars for a perfect score. Place is nice especially at this time of the year. We will return.

My wife and I visited the store earlier today. Were greeted immediately by Tatiana, who guided us through our entire visit. She was truly friendly, not pushy, and was only concerned that my wife left the store happy (she was very happy when we left the store!). Tatiana also saved us $800, which made me happy😂. Great experience at this store, and will insist on working with Tatiana on our next visit!

This place is awful.. they sure didnt mind taking my 5 grand for our wedding set, but when it comes to getting it cleaned, they make you feel like youre a pain! That blonde manager has no business being one.. extremely friggin rude! Ill go elsewhere to buy and have my jewelry cleaned! I recommend you do the same

If I could rate my experience less than one star, I would. There is an older lady with long blond hair who basically accused me of ripping off Jareds for years because SHE could not find my Lifetime Warranty in the system. Ironically, after I pushed back, she did finally decide to double check one more time and guess what, I DO HAVE A LIFETIME WARRANTY. This lady should be fired. You dont accuse a customer of ripping off your company. She never apologized and SHE WAS WRONG. I would not recommend this store to anyone. I dont need handouts and certainly will not be treated this way without making my experience known.

We went in to buy an engagement ring middle of the day on Saturday and it was an extremely pleasant experience!! We were able to look around before making any decisions. I was very unsure about what I wanted but I was not pressured to buy anything. They helped me pick out and create exactly what I wanted and even helped me stay in my budget. The ring is absolutely stunning and even larger than I expected. The staff is beyond friendly and made my enegament even more special. They understood the importance of the ring and made sure I got exactly what I wanted.

I wish I could leave zero stars and have this show up. My dad bought my mom a beautiful ring to celebrate their upcoming 50th wedding anniversary. Unexpectedly my mom passed away this weekend so my dad contacted Jared jewelers in Fredericksburg to see if they would buy back or allow him to return the ring. They told him no, he could come in and exchange it for something else but they won’t allow him to return it, their return policy is 30 days they had the ring for 56 days.He doesn’t want to profit on it he just wants them to take back this ring.

I have been using the Fredericksburg Jared since I moved to the area in 2014. I’ve always been treated nicely but my visit to the store yesterday was one of the best. Wanda waited on me and she was the friendliest, happiest and nicest person to help me to date! I actually enjoyed my visit! Wish all people who work in customer service had the work ethics she has! I cannot even begin to explain how horrible and awful the experience that me and my husband have had with this specific Jared store. My husband has been a customer with them for seven years.... in December right after I gave birth to our first child my husband bought me a beautiful rose gold blue topaz ring I was completely in love with it about two weeks goes by a side stone falls out. This had continued to happen 3 more times and NO ONE CARED. After 4 failed attempts for this to be fixed My husband had gone in to exchange/ return this ring and got a new ring. Now, my husband was told by Jason the manager that the new ring that he had purchased was $800 and that it had real blue topaz in it as well as it was white gold I looked the ring up to try to find a wedding band that would fit for it and the ring is sterling silver and lab created stones… So I called and Asked to speak with someone because I’m not understanding this. Kathy than answers the phone which mind you anytime I’ve been in there she would make all over my baby and was super sweet...clearly, that was fake. She then proceeds to tell me in an extremely unprofessional and rude way that my husband doesn’t want me calling and that if I have any other questions I need to talk to him which I called my husband and he told me that that was completely untrue and that she was lying which doesn’t shock me at all… She almost tried to cuss me starting to say “mother.... (you know the rest) The tone in her voice was so malicious and like she was talking to one of her friends or one of her children and I don’t appreciate that at all. she spoke to me as if I was less than her and as if she didn’t know that we’ve had so many issues with them and so many complaints and I have tried to be so nice for the longest time and be understand since this has been has been happening since December which its now June dealing with this reoccurring issue with them. I finally said to her that’s fine we no longer want to do business with them due to the fact that it’s been hell since day one and the. I hung the phone due to being SOOO infuriated with how I was just spoken to by A MANAGER..... again NO professionalism AT ALL. Needless to say this is a horrible Jared location the managers Are extremely rude, only care about the price tag which is then assessed as to how they need to have their customer service with individual customers and quite frankly they just really don’t care. I have never in my life dealt with a corporation, company whatever you wanna call it that has been so dysfunctional and so unprofessional I hope this genuinely helps somebody before purchasing from this locations store… It’s time to do better Jared of of Fredericksburg.

We went to buy a Pandora charm for my wife. She found one she liked, but the salesman couldn’t find a price. He spent upwards of. 30 minutes researching and came up empty. While waiting, I found the same charm through Amazon. He wouldn’t sell it to us at Amazon price. As a matter of fact, he refused to sell it to us at any price because he couldn’t find it in their reference books. Never asked if we were interested in another charm.This salesman was hardly a salesman. If he worked for me, he would have been out the door. Jared, you just lost a customer.

*SEE UPDATE BELOW* 1. Every single time I go for inspections, they can never look me up in their system. This has been going on for YEARS (7+) despite updating their system every time. Im told I dont need to bring my printed copies of past inspections, but if I dont, they cant find me, Its incredibly frustrating. 2. My next inspection was supposed to be in December 2020 so I go per my usual every-6-month schedule. The door was locked & a sign said to call for appt/entry, but I saw it after I had already attempted to open the door so a gentleman inside came & opened it, asking how he could help me. I let him know Im there for my inspection &he let me know that due to covid-19, they have ceased inspections. I apparently had even received an email regarding this, that I had missed.. Understandable. I go in January, & the same thing, I am turned away at the door because they arent doing inspections. Again, understandable. I called in February & was told over the phone by a gentleman I think named Jeremiah (not sure though, ), that inspections are still suspended. It is now April 9th. I call & speak to a women who right off the bat seems annoyed by me but I ask if they have started doing inspections yet & she says yes, so I ask when they started doing them again & she said SIX MONTHS AGO!!! Out of frustration, I said are you kidding me?! & she says yeah why, so I tell her & she says no, I dont have anyone here who would say that, Im here so I hear everything. Excuse me?? So 1. Youre calling me a liar?! 2. What happens when I go & they say my inspection contract is null & void because YOUR EMPLOYEES HAVE BEEN TELLING ME NO INSPECTIONS DUE TO COVID-19?!!! We have spent insane amounts of money in Jareds & spent the extra money specifically for the inspections & you can never find me in your system, you call me a liar by saying no. No,one said that to you & then you get upset with ME for being frustrated?! Unbelievable. I am going tomorrow for my now almost 4 month late inspecrion... we will see how this goes because I have a feeling it will not go well for anyone involved.*updated my 1 star to 3 star 4/10/2021 (1day later) I had a much better experience with a gentleman named Todd who took care of my inspections, was able to look me up in the system right away, was genuine & easy going & quick yet efficient in his work. While there, I overheard the woman I spoke with on the phone last night & she is most def not personable, & even openly argued with a customer right there at the counter when they came back in to tell her the ring they sized was one size bigger than when they came in, when they had asked for smaller. Not professional, apologetic or even seemingly decent at customer service which is sad because the way other employees were coming to her for questions, leads me to believe she is the manager. In my opinion, she needs to step down & honestly, Todd seemed more of a manager than she is. If I get her name, I will update here.

We always feel welcomed and never rushed or pressured when she takes care of us. I brought my watch in to have the battery replaced. They.broke my watch and now are sending it out to be repaired. They told me it will take a month, yes, a month to get my watch back! I dont understand how any jeweler can be this incompetent. I strongly discourage anyone from shopping here

I ordered jewelry from them over a month ago and it said it was supposed to arrive today, but it didn’t show up. I contacted them to see where my order was and they said the vendor was closed and had just recently reopened and it “working diligently” to ship orders. I know that stuff is delayed because of COVID, but they definitely should’ve had a disclaimer that it could be delayed for over a month. I don’t see myself buying anything from them again anytime soon.

I have been a long time customer here. I went in today to pick up a ring that I had resized and was told that I could not use the customer restroom. I was told that it is a policy during COVID, but I have been to this same Jared several times in the last several weeks and was allowed to use the customer restroom. To not allow a paying customer to use a customer restroom is the absolute worst customer service I have ever seen. I will be taking my money and my business elsewhere. If this is a corporate policy, it is a ridiculous corporate policy and clearly some of the people who work there either didn’t know it was a policy or didn’t enforce it since I was allowed to use the restroom previously.

Poor Customer Service! I had to have my rings resized. Drop off was fine, but picking up today....I wasnt even acknowledged when I walked in. One salesperson just let people stand there and wait (there were 4 people waiting to be acknowledged) while she worked on some equipment. Ive been here now for about 15 minutes, and some people are still waiting to be acknowledged. Sad.

Brought my anniversary band in for a routine warranty check and cleaning. I also had them clean my wedding ring that is not under their warranty. I was told my 1 karat center stone was moving and that one of my prongs had shifted. Jareds had replaced all my prongs 8 or so months ago so I asked if there would be a charge. I was told yes there would be a charge. I took my ring back and immediately took it to Ulmans jewelry in fburg to have them fix it.. only to find out there was NOTHING WRONG WITH MY CENTER STONE OR MY PRONGS OR ANY PART OF MY RING! Will never buy anything from them or have anything fixed there again!

I must say I was getting a little down about my enhancer that my husband purchased for our wedding day but after meeting Sydney and Wanda who provided the best customer service I have ever received. These ladies took care of any concerns answered all questions and made sure we were taken care of. They went above and beyond to make me happy. After checking online about their service capabilities I choose to go to Jared in Fredericksburg, VA to have a ring resized. Online it started that ring resizing could be done same day, and in most cases, within an hour. Once I got to the store, the doors were locked, with a sign saying to call for an appointment, displaying the store number. I called and was told the earliest appointment for ring resizing was in 5 days. I explained I was at the front door and would leave it for today. I was told I could leave it but it wouldn’t be ready until the date in 5 days. I then explained what I read on their website The young man then started “That won’t happen! What’s on the internet and what really happens are two different things!” That’s pretty sad that a company as known as Jared has to resort to making false statements, and so rude about it!

Overpriced and bad customer service. Like others who have reviewed here I stood at the front of the store while at least three employees doing nothing didn’t bother to come and see what I was there for. Finally someone gathered the gumption to say “we’ll be with you in a minute”. I was there to get some links removed from a watch that was purchased there as a gift, for an inordinately high price I’m sure, and an hour after the store was opened “the guy” that removes links still wasn’t in. He wasn’t expected in before noon. Priceless.

I tried to drop my ring off on a Saturday to be inspected and cleaned on Monday. They will not do that because Saturdays are for sales. I did spend money there and I purchased my ring there. All I need to do is drop it off. It will take 5 minutes to write up the paperwork. I can not come in Monday through Friday because I work. If all that matters is a sale and the rest of your clients arent worth your time because they are not spending money then I will not be purchase anymore jewelry from you.

Absolutely terrible customer service. Unless you’re buying something, employees won’t even look at you. Second time coming in for a ring inspection to keep up the warranty, and I was passed by at least 5 employees (including the manager. Great job.), and when I requested assistance from an employee, she replied “I’m helping someone else.” And scurried off. No “have you been helped”, “someone will be with you shortly”. Nothing.Really, I wanted to purchase from Jared’s, but not this one.By the way, I was finally helped (I didn’t catch her name, but she was one of the younger employees) and she was lovely.But everyone else sucked.

I went in today for a simple ring size adjustment. My engagement ring needs to be a size smaller. The lady smiled and welcomed me, then she took me off to a crowded corner of the store and then disappeared in the back. She came back, slapped a receipt down on the counter with no pen and then disappeared again. She came back a minute later with the pen, slapped it down on the counter and then held her hand out and asked for my ring. Promptly disappearing yet again. The whole time she barely spoke, smiled or made eye contact. And when she did speak she mumbled and I had to ask her to repeat herself. Eventually she told me it would be $39 to have my ring sized. She also asked if I wanted to have it appraised. I said no, thank you. Ive already had it appraised. She finally made eye contact with me and asked how much. I told her and she actually looked down her nose at me as though I was lying or really had no idea how much my ring was worth. Again, she walked away from me without saying anything and went to a manager and showed her the ring and told her my appraisal price. She looked up and gave me a once over, then said Im sorry we cant insure it for that amount without the appraisal certificate. Im really surprised that a fine jewelry store such as yours has such a low insurance amount available. Im also shocked at the stereotyping, blatant rudeness displayed by your employees at all levels and general lack of expertise displayed in fine jewelry (and salesmanship). Im giving you two stars instead of one, because Im awarding you the benefit of doubt. Perhaps not ALL of your employees lack refinement and it was simply the two I had short interactions with today.I was going to bring my ring back tomorrow along with the appraisal document, until I read the other reviews here. And instead I was compelled to write a review. I dont recommend this store at all.

The staff is nice enough just incredibly unorganized. I was told they would hold a ring for me while I ran and got my id so I could pay with a card. I returned in less than a hour to purchase it and the same lady that said she was going to hold it had me waiting around 15 minutes. Finally she says that the ring was sold and they really couldn’t hold anything and that she was very sorry. We decided on ordering it at that point so when it comes in two weeks later I go to pick it up to find out that she ordered the wrong ring! I ended up going to another store in the mall and found a ring with bigger stones for almost half the price.

The staff at this particular Jared is very knowledgeable, and are not pushy like most jewelry stores Ive been to. I dealt with a young lady named Christina Testerman, who was not only the most courteous sales person Ive ever encountered, but I could easily tell her main goal was to make sure that I made a well informed buying decision and that my overall satisfaction was the most important thing for her. I have acquired several big purchase jewelry items from this store including my wedding set (well, my husband bought that one) and honestly the only reason I come back is because everything is insured and I dont want to go to two places. Do yourself a favor. Do NOT go here. They have made a mistake on 90% of my visits, requiring me to correct and come back another time. They take forever to acknowledge your presence, and if you arent dressed nicely, you may not be able to get any attention. They charged fees they didnt discuss with me. They sold my husband a non-refundable piece they told him was engraveable when it wasnt. He asked for a cushion-cut diamond engagement ring and they sold him a radiant cut. He still thinks its a cushion-cut and its beautiful, so Ill never tell him, but thats still a pretty massive mistake. The only thing they seem to be able to do well (if you have the patience to wait until theyll see you) is clean jewelry. I want to get a ring set of theirs fused together by them so I can maintain the current insurance, I guess Ill update this review if it doesnt turn out to be a total fiasco. Wish me luck.

Ive been going to this location for almost 3 years. Ive never really had any issues.. just the annoyance of changing the ring my parents bought me into my name, every time I went in every 6 months.Today I went in and their tablets were down, like all Jareds. So they did my inspection the old fashion way. The ring that was suppose to be in my name wasnt on there, again. So I tell her its probably in my moms name still. She said it wasnt and said I dont have warranty on the ring. I said yes I do. She said I understand you think you do, but you dont. We will only tighten your stones and clean it, thats it.I knew this was bull but there wasnt anything I could do. She printed my inspection paper for my ring and necklace but not my 2nd ring. I knew this would mess up my 6 month inspection warranty.I left and called a Jared in Maryland. (Thankfully their tablets were working for the moment) He found my ring in the system under my moms name like I told the lady it probably was because it always seems to go back into her name, even after I change it every 6 months.I know today was stressful for the store because the tablets were down but geez, listen to your customer. Dont tell them their wrong when they were right all along.I wont be returning to this location. Ill drive the extra miles to Maryland.

This place is a joke, over priced jewelry and way over priced to get something fixed or serviced. You can get better diamonds at your local pawn shops. Just think, you can pay $5000-$6000 for a engagement ring here or $800-$1500 and get it from a pawn shop or second hand store, that a customer bought from a nice jewelry store already and suffered paying that high price.

Went in tonight to purchase a Family ring. I told the young sales clerk I was replacing my Mothers ring that lost the stone that was 24 yrs. old. She asked me twice if i had the ring with me and I said no because I wanted to create a new Family ring and the original ring was over 24 years old I did not want to replace the stone into that ring. We went into a cubical to create my one of a kind ring, its the same the website customers shop on at home???? She asked me what I wanted--I didnt realize I should have recorded what I wanted:Plain band--I do not wish to have my children and grandchildrens names engraved, we were having 7 stonesI dont care for the open heart designI like clean lines with the stones either round or squareMy husband left the cubical after she asked me if I liked the the open heart design for the 3rd timeAn hour or so later we had the ring designed, the warranty included and I realized I did not have my credit card. Our sales agent went to get the manager who never introduced himself, came in and with a demeanor more like the manager of Dennys then a fine jewelry store. At this point, my mind was blown--they could not save the information in the system. How can any type of business that ask YOU to spend tens of thousands of dollars for the merchandise they display and sell not be able to save a sale request until the next day. AND she had to ask for paper to write the information down. Needless to say my husband and I got up from our chairs and fled the premises.

When I went in to purchase an engagement ring, the service was one on one and helpful. However, I dropped off my wedding hand to be buffed. SK promised me that I would get a call two days later. Today is day 4 with no call, so I called....and called...and called. I called repeatedly for over 20 minutes. Once, the phone was picked up and set onto the counter, so I could hear talking. The phone was then hung up. After going to fax, having the phone picked up and immediately hung up, and waiting and waiting, an associate answered and told me the ring was ready. When I picked it up, the Knicks werent all buffed out and the color of the ring has been changed. It used to be two-toned with a matte and shiny finish, bit now its completely dull and monotone. They didnt charge me anything though. They must think that makes up for everything. Buyer beware!

Stopped in on Wednesday with my fiance to get my ring cleaned early and to look at bands. The one lady with very short hair that was helping us was very friendly and personable. I told her what I wanted in a band and she started showing us some and all of a sudden another associate with an indian accent came up and said that so-and-so needed help. Shouldnt a customer come first? It was very rude and awkward. Come to find out, nobody needed help. The other lady that came up was just rude. She didnt listen to what I wanted at all and just kept trying to show us the more expensive pieces. We stayed for a bit hoping the person who was originally helping us would come back but she didnt and we ended up leaving.

Only my second time in this location but I stood there for about 10mins with no acknowledgement. While most of their sales associates were with a customer, not all of them were. I had a simple question about my ring that they repaired a week ago, but thats okay. Clearly a Sunday afternoon is more than they can handle today. Ill try again some other time.

Jewelry is amazing. The customer service is hit or miss. Half the employees are good. Half are horrible. My mothers ring was given the wrong carat size. They recommended the wrong ring size multiple times. Had to leave it over night because of this mistake. Just ask for second opinions because some employees are uneducated in the very jewelry that they are selling.

My engagement ring and wedding band were lost on multiple locations within the store. The engraving had to be done 3 times. A day after this inspection was completed a diamond fell out of my wedding band. My husband and I have responded to the store a total of 6 times in reference to this incident! And I am still left dissatisfied with the outcome of the work. There are marks and scratches where the diamond was replaced. My only option was to accept the poor quality of work because I refuse to return to Jareds for a 7th time. I know this might be just another ring to them, but to me it is full of memories and meaning...

Really, a fine jewelry store, high end chain, and no one answers the phone?? I will not be going there for my Mothers Day shopping. Poor customer service. Came to get husbands watch battery replaced. 15 minutes after standing and waiting, someone finally came to help. Dropped off the watch and was advised it would take a few minutes die to the repair person was currently busy. I said no problem, I was on my way to the movies and would come back in a few hours. 2.5 hours later I returned only to wait 10 minutes for help and when the salesperson realized I wasnt purchasing anything she moved to help someone else. More time waisted. Waiting. Finally someone else comes over to help only to all me for a slip that wasnt given to me. Once I advised I want given a slip she looked at me as if I was a fool. At this point, I just want my #$** watch! After it is found, they now have to replace the battery. The battery that was supposed to be replaced hours before! I have spent a lot of money at this jewelry store. After this experience, I may have to look for jewelry elsewhere. Its Jared. I expected them to exceed my expectations. They didnt even meet them.

There are a few extremely rude staff members and this location lacks the basic organization skills youd expect from a store where people go to spend thousands of dollars. I have made two major purchases here and only return due to the 6 month inspections to maintain the warranty. I will never spend another dollar at this location.

My husband purchased a bracelet and had it engraved for the birth of our second child. He ordered the wrong size. When I went to the store they wanted to charge $125 to add 6 links. The bracelet is sterling silver. $125 for 6 sterling silver links is absurd. They instructed me to call the 1-800 number whom then informed me they dont do returns or exchanges on engraved pieces. All I wanted to do was make the bracelet an inch longer.Terrible experience and I would never purchase from them again.

HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE - I purchased a mounting about a year ago and it was great. My husband upgraded the mounting for a new mounting and my two caret diamond fell our of the mounting three months later. Ive been arguing, emailing, going back and forth explaining I didnt want this mounting. I paid $498 for a platinum mounting for the original I traded and I paid an additional $498 for a platinum head for the upgrade my diamond fell out within three months. Its taken since January to get this settled. The did refund for the new mounting and gave back a ring like my that had a gold mounting already in the ring. I took it to my personal jeweler in Vienna and he said there is no reason this diamond should have fallen out - they said it had a tiny chip - wish it does now - he said the chip had nothing to do with it. The wouldnt refund my last $498.00 for the last platinum head, but that head was for a square stone mine is princess cut. I will now have to pay for the additional mounting that was suppose to be in the ring.When I picked up my diamond and mounting I was taken in to a room and felt like I was being interrograted about my ring. The inventory clerk wouldnt make eye contact - kept looking at ceiling. Very rude. So now theres nothing theyll do about my mounting - buyer beware!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Earlier this week my significant other and I walked into the store and was cheerfully greeted by a woman of eastern indian decent. I let her know that size was not as important as quality of diamond and staying in a very strict price range. She showed me a small loose diamond in my price range that I loved however it seemed that she kept trying to push me towards larger higher priced diamonds. I then asked her to show me smaller bans that would compliment the smaller diamond but it seemed that she became uninterested in pursing my requests. I give this store 1 star because it seemed like the associate was more interested in what she wanted (making a higher commisson) than helping find what we truly wanted in our modest budget.

Check your diamonds ladies! After completing our purchase for a very unique and gorgeous engagement set, we almost walked out with a cubic zirconia until they went to set up the sizing and saw the word czcenter in the sku description.Horribly poor salesmanship and knowledge on diamonds for this being their primary business. I had even mentioned that the diamond was cloudy which gave them a chance to check it out at the beginning of the sales process. They said Neil Lane never puts czs in their rings. To prove it they ran it through a steamer to make it shine.Now, after doubling the cost of our ring to add a real diamond they offered a joke of a discount to help the situation. None of the discount could apply to the diamond, so it really didnt help. Oh, but our payment amount is the same, its just 12 more months of payments! They ruined what was a joyous occasion and made it a horrible one. Note, the store manager NEVER came over to talk to us that makes me lose any respect for this organization.And, to add fuel to the fire, another sales associate was constantly telling another customer dont go there with me after they made a major mistake on his custom order.So tired of RIP offs, which if it hadnt been caught I would have forever thought it was a real diamond.They almost had 5 stars until that complete fiasco and lack of customer service to resolve the issue.Sales managers should always make an effort to make the process better and to have a face to face with the customer during any major issue. That was totally unprofessional.

My fiancé bought my ring in the Richmond store but for convenience purposes I brought my ring to the Fredericksburg location to get resized. After getting resized I noticed a piece of metal sticking up at the bottom of my main prong. I went back a few days later to ask them to fix it and they told me that I had a bunch of scratches on my main diamond and that I had to take it back to the Richmond store where it was purchased from. I drove down to Richmond that weekend and found out that in fact I have no scratches on my diamond and that what they saw were the naturals formed within the diamond. Richmond was also able to fix the piece of metal sticking up. Unfortunately, I made the same mistake again and took my ring to get inspected at the Fredericksburg location for convenience purposes. They told me that I needed to have some of diamonds tightened and the metal re-polished. When I picked up my ring there was a new gash in the metal prong at the very bottom and a few noticeable deep scratches in the metal prongs as well. These are deep oddly placed scratches that I know I wouldn’t have been able to do myself. Don’t let them touch your stuff!!!!

Since our very first cruise to the Caribbean my wife has been a collector of Pandora. In addition to getting her new Pandora charms each Christmas for her bracelets I also started collecting both the yearly Pandora and Jared Exclusive Christmas Ornaments. The Christmas ornaments are only sold over the holidays and the Jared Exclusive ornament is in limited supply so once there gone its almost impossible to find one. This year we went on a cruise in December right when the ornaments would become available, so I stopped by the local store, and had the extreme pleasure of meeting Sydnae whose the Director for Pandora at the local store. She was warm and inviting, so I explained my situation and she went out of her way to make sure that Id be able to get both of the Christmas ornaments working with my son while I was gone on vacation. On top of everything we got some great deals on some new charms for my wifes Pandora collection. I cant say thank you enough for Sydnaes outstanding customer service, and willingness to go that extra step making a personal customer for life. If youve ever thought about starting your Pandora collection please stop by this store and ask for Sydnae, and let her know that Lance sent you her way. Keep up the great work Sydnae. Truly an amazing employee for both Pandora and the local Jared store.

I bought an engagement ring from the Jared in Fredericksburg. We went in and got sized, the next day I purchased the ring and picked it up a few days later. No problems yet. Fast forward a few months. I propose, the ring is WAY too small. We take it in that night to be resized and find out the ring was about 3 sizes too small. The woman we spoke with said theyd be able to fix it that night and we could pick up early morning. I get a phone call mid morning the next day saying they havent started yet and it would be done by noon. Show up at noon and they say they need another 20 mins. Fast forward again another month. We are looking at mens wedding bands, and were provided completely inaccurate information regarding a specific type of ring (we did our research and asked multiple other jewelers) We also scheduled an appraisal, and were set up for 10:30AM. We show up a few minutes early, around 10:45 the appraiser comes up to us (we understand being slightly backed up). She advises she has another person before us that needed 4 items appraised and she asked if we could leave our ring for her to get done when she could. It wasnt her fault, but the staff, who as she said overbooked her, by way too much. We scheduled our day and work schedules around being able to get this done, and were yet again inconvenienced. One or 2 frustrations are ok, but every time we come to this store, there is something wrong. Weve visited their sister store in the mall and have had multiple experiences way better than at Jared.

I purchased a wrap from JB Robinson, have it regularly inspected, at both Jared and JB Robinson. Two of the stone fell out. First Im told that the metal is covered but not the stones. Then they try to charge me $800 to fix the ring. I said no. Then they come back with $250. I said, Id pay them $150, because the stones wouldnt have even feel out if the metal had been right. I didnt even wear the ring daily. Only when we go out on special occasions. This is WRONG in the worst way. Go to a local jewelry store owned by local people. They wont rip you off. JARED and JB Robinson are a joke when it comes to taking care of their customers, even if you have been regular and purchased. They just look for ways to screw you.

When it comes to purchases and repairs, they always take a long time (we’ve gotten quite a few items from here). In one instance, there were two woman standing behind the counter not helping customers. When we picked up the repair order, they did not fix the issue like they said they did in the email to come pick it up. DO NOT COME HERE- it has never been a pleasant experience.
