If youre interested in repairing broken plumbing pipes, damaged drywall and replacing broken mirrors, go with these guys. If you dont want to micromanage the installers to make sure they do not damage your property, thumbs through this company. They are terribly unprofessional and take no responsibility for damages. My advice, take your shopping elsewhere.

Were from Haymarket in Northern, VA and are doing a major kitchen remodel. I believe the granite companies up here in Northern Virginia have lost their mind with the prices they were trying to charge us for granite countertops. We had used FAB several years ago when we lived in the area and remembered what a great job they did for us. We called Fahmey the owner, he remembered us like we were old friends. I asked him if he would do the granite for our kitchen remodel, and he said of course. My wife and I drove down to FAB Granite in Fredericksburg, VA to look at the granite FAB had onsite. We chose a slab, and when they gave us the quote for the installed piece I was sure he made an error. FABs delivered and installed price was half of what the granite companies in Chantilly, VA were asking us to pay. This week the installers came to install the counter top and its beautiful. We could not be happier with the granite, FAB Granite, and the installation team. A huge thank you to Fahmey and his staff, they are best in the business.

Had counter tops ordered. Asked for bull nose edge installed half round edge.Took vanity sink and Faucet to them to measure and cut. When installed found out holes were cut wrong even though I took sink and faucet to them before they cut. They sent man down to see and take pit. He agreed they cut holes wrong. I call company and spoke with sales lady. She agreed I had taken them sink and faucet to them to measure. They had cut holes wrong. She said she would call me back 5 days later I never heard back so I called them. I was told owner said I would have to pay again for another pice of granite. I asked to speak to owner, he said to pay or never come back.Never do business with these people.They will tell you anythingUp date, FAB did call me and offer to replace Vanity Counter top witch they did. At this point Im satisficed with FAB.All is well. Thank you for taking care of problem.

FAB did a fantastic job replacing our laminate kitchen counters and backsplash with quartz counters and subway tile backsplash. Their staff was friendly and their installers were very professional and did excellent work. We are delighted with the results, and their price was more than $1500 less than the next best estimate we got from 3 different businesses. I highly recommend FAB.

The owner was very helpful with explaining my granite counter top options and was upfront about the pricing. The installers came the day they promised, right on time. Both of them were friendly, and worked quickly and efficiently. A few days afterwards, I needed them to come and change the size of the hole for my new water faucet. Within an hour someone was at my door! I am really pleased with their service. Thank you for a great experience!

Fab Granite did a great job installing granite and new cabinets in our kitchen. The owner showed us all the many options for stone, cabinets, tile and hardware-we were able to choose everything we needed! He gave us good ideas about redesigning the kitchen. We worked out a price that is very reasonable. The Fab team completed the work in a short time-frame and were perfectly pleasant and professional. The kitchen looks so good. We are very pleased with the work and the final result in our home. I recommend Fab Granite and Tile. Go see it for yourself!

Excellent price, but even better customer service. We had a last minute miscommunication, which could have been a Big Deal. The manager stepped in and resolved the issue with excellent results. My kitchen turned out beautiful. The installers were professional and patient and rolled with the necessary changes. Definitely a good company.

We priced a couple different granite companies and Fab was the best for pricing. They were good with communicated the schedule of when the granite would be at the shop, allowing us to see the slab before install, and price point. The person we worked with did ask us to measure ourselves, but we found out from someone else at the shop that they normally send someone out to take measurements but it all worked out in the end. The granite is beautiful, fits perfectly, pricing was great, and they were very quick. I will recommend using Fab over anyone else in the area.

They were very competitive with their pricing! The finished product looks great. Even after removing old countertop and using it as a stencil, it was still not measured perfectly. They had to do extra cutting in the home, which created enormous dust. I tipped the guys to run to Home Depot and buy some plastic to contain the dust. And they forgot some caulking. but they came out and took care of it immediately. My realtor said he has used them often. I would recommend them to anyone.

Homeowners Beware! This review has good but alot of bad.We spent the day looking at apprx 6 different granite places in the Fredericksburg/ Woodbridge area and found Fab Granite & Tile on Warrenton Rd in Fredericksburg to have the best granite. We researched their reviews online and at the BBB & found complaints by clients about their homes being damaged during installs & the refusal & difficulty they had to get the damages repaired. We asked the owners wife (secretary)specifically about this issue and she assured us that they take great effort to be above board in all phases of operations. They seemed very genuine thus far so we went with them for our kitchen countertop.During instalkation they damaged our stove, took a large 2inch x 2inch chunk out of our wainscote and ran a screw through another piece of wainscote. Initially the ppl that installed it tried to repair it VERY shoddilly and hide it from me acting like it was no big deal to handle it in that manner. I would later find this attitude very pervasive throughtout the company.They installed a Beautiful countertop to specs. But along with the 3 damaged spots I also found the plumber made several mistakes putting in the drain.Long story short....and lost tempers and MUCH AGGRAVATION AND FORCING OF HANDS LATER, the stuff is fixed.If they damage your stuff during install they will ignore it, and you about it, and they will downplay the need to repair it correctly to your face. When they are finally FORCED to face the repairs they will do a horrible job...repeatedly, blaming you for being too particular when all you want is for your home to be restored to its original condition.The plumber came out 4 very inconvenient times ( without so much as a phone call to set up a day and time) to get the the drain rightHe made the mistakes each time but yet refused to come out and do the repairs: crimped drain basket gasket/off center drain baskets/using a rubber washer where one wasnt needed which caused him to cross thread a nut on top of it ( and then was going to fix it the 4th time while using the same cross theaded piece which was very obviously unusable, until i demanded he use a different piece). His attitude throughout the repair process was that i was being odd for wanting the job done correctly.The ppl that came ( afte much arguing with the owner and his wife and the yard man Rede) to fix the wainscote did the same thing and had the same attitude toward me and the needed repairs: they rushed through the rework like they were on fire and did a horrible job. They did it 3 times and treated me like i was strange for wanting it done correctly and not letting tgmhem to do a horrible job.The stove damage was reimbursed after much arguing and lack of accepting responsibility.They worried about getting their money...not fixing our stuff; ignoring discussions about the damages and ways to make it right while calling me and texting me seeking payment. In this area they were HORRIBLE.These guys would have done very shoddy work and called it repaired if I woukd have let them when it came to making things right. This attitude is accepted by the owner, his nephew the yard man, the plumber and the carpenters that came to repair the damages. It was obvious that its a trickle down problemWe love the countertop. And they have the best exotic granite around. But it was a horrible experience.The owner actually tried to make me wait 3 weeks to do the final repair on the plumbing because it would be more convenient for him- in the end their customers are not important enough on the back end.

Excellent service. The granite counter tops were nicely installed then two days later a hairline crack developed in the largest section. I was prepared that they would only be able to repair the crack and was totally surprised that they replaced the entire section. Just had our kitchen counters replaced by FAB. The crew could not have been more professional, friendly and attentive to detail. The whole process from start to finish went very smoothly. The counters look amazing.

My wife and I recently had the opportunity to purchase new kitchen counter tops from FAB. We remodeled our kitchen, replacing old counter-tops and added additional counter space. Some of the spaces were difficult because the new granite tops had to fit between three walls. The team from FAB gave us good suggestions during their visit to measure the spaces. The installation team arrived right on schedule with all the material and tools necessary to accomplish the difficult installation. There were unanticipated problems because some of the walls were not square. The team involved us in finding the best solutions. We are thrilled with the final results. Everyone we dealt with from FAB was professional: they kept their appointment as promised, worked with us to find solution to unanticipated challenges that insured the finest quality results and our total satisfaction. I recently had a basement flood and had to redo the entire basement. I ordered cabinets and granite from FAB and am very pleased. The cabinets are beautiful and were affordable. I couldn’t be happier about the granite, and the install went very smoothly. I plan to use FAB Granite when I renovate my kitchen as well. Great prices, great service!

My husband and I wanted to spruce up, as well as add value, to the bathrooms in our luxury home. Even though a friend recommended Fab Granite & Tile, I was apprehensive due to some of the reviews. That said, because we knew and valued/trusted our friends, we chose to go with their recommendation and use Fab Granite & Tile. I was still a little apprehensive, so we decided to just do 2 of the 4 bathroom countertops (just in case, right?!) Man are we glad we did. They were prompt, courteous and professional. WE COULD NOT BE MORE PLEASED! Before the installers got back to the office, we called to order the countertops for the other 2 bathrooms. They cut them and came right back out the within the week. Awful, awful - worst contractor I have ever worked with.

I recently had my kitchen counter tops done by FAB Granite. The color choices were plentiful and I was able to select a beautiful slab right there in their lot. It was installed quickly and looks fantastic. I love how I could see the actual slab before it was cut. I plan to redo my bathroom next and will definitely go back to FAB for more granite.

FAB Granite worked with us to design the kitchen we wanted and stayed in our budget. They checked off every box for our must haves as well as our wants. The cabinets came in quickly and demo/installation of cabinets as well as granite was completed in 3 days.

Overdue in posting this review but our kitchen remodel is still in progress. I had used FAB previously for a vanity top in my old house and decide again to use them for the kitchen remodel of our new house. I can’t speak highly enough about everyone at FAB and their fabrication and Install is fantastic. See photos below on perfect squared off cuts around the cooktop end of the island, smooth rounding edge where the countertops L, and seams perfectly matched and offset around the sink so as to not draw attention. I am thrilled with their work and I can’t wait to see the end product one the tile backsplash is done, flooring is in, crown molding is up, rest of the new appliances are in. FAB will help you find the perfect piece of stone for you. Thank you FAB for such great work!!! There are 4 vanities here in your future.

FAB Granite gave me the best price and wonderful service. The selection of Granite was good. The time from measurements to installation was amazing. The installation team was friendly, experienced and knowledgeable. The final product looks great. I will gladly use them again.

This is the second time Ive purchased granite from FAB. Choosing my slab was easy and quick. They worked with me to give me what I wanted (including the sink) for the budget I had in mind. Installation was scheduled for a Friday but when they had an opening in their schedule to install earlier I happily accepted. Installation was quick, communication was great. The granite looks nice and I will definitely use FAB again for our next project.

I have used FAB Granite to renovate my bathroom and kitchen. I got cabinets and granite for such great prices I did them at the same time. Even though the installers don’t speak perfect English, their workmanship was excellent. I will definitely use FAB again for my next remodeling project.

The installation was quick and they cleaned up after themselves. My bar counter looks like it has always been there. We had countertop nook done. They matched the granite perfectly to our kitchen. Later we had a backsplash put in...amazing work! Now our master bathroom is being done. Clean, perfection...cant wait to see.i would recommend them to my childrens children.

I called these guys to do a small granite job in the basement for our second kitchen. I had a pretty strict budget and they were willing to accommodate on that so I decided to bring my sink in to get it fitted and to pick out a good slab. As soon as I got there I felt welcomed because it was just me and my three-year-old boy who wanted to be carried in the store and of course I had to drag this huge sink in as well, yet one of the employees hurried outside to help me carry the sink in. They informed me that the sink that I had chosen was too large however they quickly gave me another sink option that they sold in the store and for less than half of the cost of the original sink that I had purchased. Once all decisions were made they were able to come out two days later and install the granite within an hour. The installers were professional kind and extremely capable and my granite countertops turned out beautiful. There’s are probably the easiest contractors I’ve had to deal with and it was a joy

Outstanding company to deal with. Their Customer Service was and is spectacular. Everything that Fab told me he would do, he did (and more)!Cabinets are of superior quality and the cabinet and granite counter tops were installed in less than two days. Other places told me it would take 4 to 8 weeks for the cabinets and another two weeks for the granite. Fab did the complete job in a week and a half!Its really nice to be able to deal with a company that is true to its word! Wish I could give them more than a 3.

Poor craftsmanship and very abrasive owner!. First off they do not template. Every counter-top I have ever had installed, the installer will come out and create a template first. They accomplish this by either using wood strips or a laser templating machine. This is to insure that the counter top fits correctly against the wall and has the proper overhangs. FAB does not do this. They simply measure and hope for the best. When their way of doing things fails and you end up large gaps at the wall as well as ridiculously inconsistent overhangs, the owner will blame you for being hard to please. He will then try to blame it on the wall. The counter top overhang goes from 1 inch on one end to over 2 inches on the other. The wall has nothing to do with this error.Trust me, if you want a professional job GO ELSEWHERE!

From the moment we walked into the store FAB and his team were extremely helpful in matching the perfect granite slab and tile design for the back splash enhancing our kitchen. Installation was quick and professional with the installers accommodating our needs. We were pleased with the finished product and felt FAB gave us a great deal. I looked for a long time (14 years) for a unique stone, the other Fredericksburg/Stafford stone counter companies were charging 2x the amount quoted by FAB. I made a deal they took my counters out on Monday and Wednesday came with the new “quartzite”. I called the supplier Eastern Marble Stone and they told me it was a hard Marble?? Not really sure what I really got but it is very pretty.Buyer be wear, the stone in 75% very good, then I saw two different directions near the sink?? My heart sunk, I fought with this in my mind for two days. Decided to ask for it to be fixed on Friday, with some “convincing” the owners “nephew” said that I got a good price and should live with it, NO WAY!! Then he agreed to replace the corner piece with a better piece if I agreed to post positive in yelp and google review he said he wanted me to be happy🥴. Friday the gang came back with a very pretty piece and replace the strange piece. So in the end I got a beautiful countertop and I paid $3750 for the kitchen and bathroom including the both sinks. Overall I love my counters and I got a great price....just a headache to get there!

They gave us a great price on our quartz countertop. They were quick with the installation and courteous.

Installers for granite countertops on our new outdoor kitchen arrived in the morning and I began to show them the job. First issue was both installers barely knew any English and it was difficult to communicate with them. They then told me they were unable to place the sink we received from them under the granite for a flush finish, saying there was no room. There was plenty of room and the sink lip now sits on top of the granite. Then the 150lb grill, which was sitting on the frame, needed to be moved so they disconnected it and moved it to the side along with all of our patio furniture. I then left for work. When my wife and I returned home, the installers had already left and left one of the biggest messes I have ever seen a contractor leave. No attempt was made by the installers to clean up the granite dust. The grill was not put back and none of the patio furniture, all covered in granite dust, was not put back. I understand granite installation is messy, and the installers even warned about the mess beforehand, but absolutely no attempt to clean any of it was made. It took my wife and I two hours with a blower to clean everything up. We then noticed the granite was not sealed, causing me to run to Lowes to buy my own and took another hour of my time sealing the granite. We then noticed there were 2 gashes in our brand new window coverings and one of the installers even tried to cover it up using white caulk. No mention of this damage was said to us and we just happened to find the damage. When we called Fab to discuss the issue the owner was extremely rude to us. He assumed we were trying to get a discount and told us clean up is not part of the job. He then demanded payment in full, even though there was the issue of damage. No remedy was suggested, only demands for full payment and a refusal of a discount for the work we had to do. Will not be doing business with this company again.

They screwed up so many times i have lost count. Cant get them to put in a cabinet that came in damaged for over two months. One excuse after the other. They finally send someone out with a piece mealed cabinet and low and behold still not complete i have bought from them before, years ago, with little to no issues, but after this experience I will never again buy from them or recommend them. My opinion is go someplace else. You might spend a little more, but will probably get much better service .The product is good, but the service from this business leaves much to be desired.Oh. did i mention the granite originally picked out, bought, ordered, and paid for they sold, had to pick a different granite the day before scheduled install.

I will NOT recommend them to anyone else! My kitchen was done a little over a year ago and the tiles are cracking everywhere! I have called several times and called again today for the owner! All I keep hearing is The work is guaranteed for a year. Really? So expect the tile in the kitchen to only last 1 year??? That is crazy. My kitchen is 15 months old and I called last month and again today! We shall see if I get a call back. All I want is to fix the dang tiles!

They made some quarter rounds out of the 4 inch backslash I removed. I was very happy with the job they did.

The owner is rude and not concerned with customer service, quality, or craftsmanship. For the customer, that means: stay away. They will charge you for everything, including their (the companys) own mistakes, and they will do it more than once. Every mistake, whether it is in measurement, wrong orders, cuts, etc. will cost YOU money.The ladies that work for Fab, as well as the contractors they use to install were all polite and easy to work with, but thats where it ends. I wont bore with examples of the work or work-arounds used, as my complaints are similar or identical to negative reviews written before this. The point is: dont go to them for your project. The reviews make it obvious. If they do a good job on your project, you got lucky.If my experience changes based on further communications with Fab Granite, I will update and/or change this review. Otherwise, this one star review will remain.

I had FAB install a kitchen counter top a couple of years ago. They were less expensive than other places in the area and I was happy with the job. More recently I had them install granite counter tops in all of my bathrooms and it was a total fiasco, mostly because the only people who speak English at FAB are the ones that work in the office. The installers speak so little English that they can barely communicate with you, which causes misunderstandings and mistakes to happen (which they did.) They also scratched my storm door as they were carrying new and old counter tops in and out. I WISH they had simply asked me to hold the door wide open as they did that – I would have GLADLY done so. I didn’t notice the damage until later and the owner wouldn’t do anything about it. There was also a spot on one of the counter tops that I didn’t notice until after the installers left. The spot was rectified, but a large dull spot on the shiny finish was left behind. I had FAB come out several times to polish it, specifically asking for someone who could speak English. None of the guys they sent can really do that. They made a couple of attempts to hand polish and would all say, “This very expensive polish, see it’s good now, yes? Yes?” No it wasn’t good – large dull spot was still there but they would act like they couldn’t see it. FAB finally simply stopped responding to me because they were sick of me and were unwilling to do what they needed to do to make this right, which was hire a restoration company to come in and properly polish the spot. I’ll have to go to that expense myself now. I have a contractor that finished my basement and he has had customers with similar issues with FAB and has stopped recommending them. Even with the lower granite prices, I cannot recommend FAB either due to the inept and sloppy counter prep and install work. Every time I drive past that place I’m reminded about it and get a nauseated feeling.

The personnel there is very very rude and unprofessional. The men that are employed there need to take etiquette class on how to speak to someone while trying to conduct business. I am very appalled at how they go about handling their business. Very very unprofessional! Please do not waste your time with this business!

I would not use Fab Granite again. The job was filled with unacceptable sloppy problems. Quality is not a priority with this company.The installers damaged my cabinets. They were not prepared for the job. They borrowed tools and materials.The slab that was delivered had rust stains which I addressed, but could not repaired. The slab was also damaged and crudely filled in. I didnt notice it until a few weeks later because I wasnt living in the house.One of the laborers parked his oil leaking car in my driveway. The owner had no interest in hearing about it and immediately changed the subject to receiving his final payment.I regret my decision to use this company.My communication with the company owner was very reasonable on my part. He was horribly aggressive.I would never do business with this company again

We purchased 65 square feet of Shadow Storm Quartzite from FAB. The workers were polite, clean and efficient. They made completely sure that I was 100 % satisified with their work I love the counters in my kitchen and the sparkle in them makes everyone ohh and ahhh. They are super easy to keep clean. I HIGHLY ADVICE TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! Around 6 months ago i remodel my entire house and i made the big mistake of choosing Fabs granite to do my entire kitchen and bathrooms i paid them almost $30,000 for the whole project and everything was a BIG MESS the worse thing that can happen to a home owner their job was horrible i had to hire a new company to fix everything they did wrong, granite was cut wrong and installed incorrectly, cabinets looked like a child did the job gaps everywhere and holes and nails visible,water leaking from their pipes and sinks that they installed they damaged the floor and walls and they didnt even finish what was on the agreement, up to this day i still spending money on things that they didnt do right, i am going to send them to civil court, but for now i STRONGLY RECOMMEND to everyone to STAY AWAY because this place is not profesional or at least thats my opinion...

Granted countertops so they came and did my granny kind a top why unhurt there is a seam between my pipe and the countertop whenever I wash my dishes or anything it leaks down to the bottom of my cupboard I asked the owner, and the nephew even the secretary to deal with the situation they said I have to pay for someone to come out there and fix it because my warranty runs out so I told him Ive been asked to before and every time I will give them a phone call everyday day I asked someone to come in to my home to fix it they told me they cant they couldnt repair it i have to buy a new counter top but this is ridiculous how can you make the mistake and when i fainally catch up with the owner he is still telling me i need to order new top and they will do it the right way for me and he will take 5% off if i buy new counter top these people are weasel and a scammer also remember the counter piece you see and touch thats not what they will sell to you also the color granite top that use they say you could buy this piece that is outside the building please I did the public do not buy is not the real thing you are going to get I am going to also post the pictures and the video up the web This is a rip OFF PLEASE IF ANYONE BUY THERE report them do not BUY at FAB granite for nothing thats why they SEND OUT COUPONS out all the time everyone is having problem BET BUSNIESS I GIVE THEM 0STAR

Very displeased with the craftsmanship of this business!While I was initially impressed with the sales staff, everything else was disappointing… To start with their pricing, we were given a quote that was more than a thousand dollars more than their competitor, TGM Granite! Going against my instinct, I decided to still do business with FAB as they matched the offer of TGM (even if they were reluctant to do so and were obviously upset that I was asking them to match the competitor’s price).Next, when FAB came out to install the granite, several large holes were made in the drywall that could still be visible when they had completed the installation of the counter tops (have pictures). I asked the workers about this and they suggested I get someone to patch the holes – which FAB made! I contacted FAB and was told that they would send someone out to repair the damage; however, a few days later received a call from Mr. Fahmey himself threatening to place a lien on my home if I did not pay the second check. After several minutes of discussion and similar threatening statements, he agreed to send out a team to complete the job.Overall, I am unhappy with the experience with FAB, will not do business with them again and will not recommend them to any home owner.
